Prestiging? Nah, Here's What I'd Want...
Post edited, see EDIT for the change.
So this most likely can't be done without huge-ass changes in the background, making this never happen at all.
Nevertheless, i wanna write down this idea.
So here's the first big step: Remove the Prestige mechanic.
Next, make the first bloody cosmetic piece show up once you reach Bloodweb LVL 50, and it'll be in every next Bloodweb until you get it.
It'll replace a Perk on the Bloodweb, chosen at random which Perk is replaces, so if you want all Perks, ya' might wanna buy the cosmetic at some point.
Then the next piece comes at LVL 75, and the last one at LVL 100.
If you didn't buy a cosmetic piece by the time another joins in, the newcomer will simply occupy another Perk spot.
And same goes for the last one, leaving only 1 Perk to show up on the Bloodweb.
They could even block Teachables if you hadn't bought those yet, so i guess you could say they're bloody annoying. [INSERT LAUGHTRACK]
Bloodwebs won't change in shape, size, etc. after LVL 50, so there's no need to worry about having to buy more and more as the levels go up.
While the early Bloodwebs are definitely smaller and cheaper, doing it this way prevents having to fully reset everything on that character and is, purely in numbers, 100 levels less than you'd normally have to spend on a character to get them to P3-LVL 50.
Plus, whether you consider this as a positive or negative, keeping the more expensive and bigger Bloodwebs also means you keep access to all rarities, rather than resetting to the lower Add-ons every Prestige.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and since you won't lose anything cause there's no Prestiging, you also get to keep your rare gear, like Firecrackers, event Offerings, disabled Offerings, etc.
Of course, like i said in the beginning, this change pretty much means no more Prestige, and considering it's part of the game ever since release & Legacy cosmetics are based on Prestige information, it'll just never happen.

Cool idea. Unfortunately, prestige is about the only long-term thing the devs have in this game to force people to stay interested in the tedious, monotonous, annoying RNG grindfest that is the game.
Sounds like a great idea.
That way i could finally have the bloody cosmetics for my claudette i couldn't get before because otherwise i would lose all the old items and offerings.
