This is even more useless, it only applies to Freddy, how about when the Killer is the Trapper for example?

@ShrekIsHot Oh, absolutely. Unfortunately, they're simply looking at "minimizing" the injury count and body count until the Police Officer can take down the shooter.
It's all a plan of attrition, which bothers me. I'm an author for 25 years now, so I work from home. The wife and I have already discussed that unless things massively change, it's possible we'll have to Home School him through some of high school, and just make sure he has plenty of activities to meet others his age. Because I'm not about to send him to high school and pray every day that he makes it home alive.
And that is completely acceptable! Make sure to let him know why you're doing it though, he'll understand when you're taking your role as a father. Some things might include just every day life, maybe playing games online helps, or he goes out to meet people when he grows older, he'll probably already make friends he'll have choices then and there's plenty of opportunities where friends hang. He could have what they do for my high school at least where he has one class he takes in high school so he can talk to them without much risk.

@ShrekIsHot I live in Maryland, in Baltimore County. Unlike Baltimore City (a homicide capitol of the U.S.), we don't have many gun incidents in the county. Now, I have three adult kids aged 26, 21, and 19 who all graduated already, but also a 9-year-old in the 4th grade.
He's well aware of what goes on in the world, and already wants to go into law enforcement to stop "serial killers and people who blow people up." Obviously, then, FBI, I'm thinking. Anyway, even when the school was hiding the reasons for the drills, he knew off the bat that they were Active Shooter Drills.
Baltimore County schools have what's called a School Resource Officer in all schools, regardless of grade levels for the school. They're on-duty Baltimore County Police Officers stationed in the school. In their office is a secured gun cabinet, and inside are several firearms, including tear gas and a gas mask and tactical shotguns.
They don't mess around to protect the kids.
They also keep the same officer in the same school all year long, and often year after year. So they also build a rapport with the students.
I am glad they have that but hopefully get to use it. I plan on heading out to the Army after this and I know if someone wanted to waltz into school with a rifle and shoot kids who are walking (keep in mind of this) in a hallway all together, he could, we have no protection besides running, our school neglects it's size of population as I live in Minnesota, so if worse comes to worst, we're done for, no safety. Those who need a gun to kill an unarmed child is cowardly human filth and scum at best anyway.

Varsity Jacket Frank is my go to, I love Frank as the leader and caretaker he is, this outfit makes him bada- uh, really rad and strong.

@ShrekIsHot Wow. I graduated high school in 1990, so things were way different back then. We were supposed to use "see-through backpacks" starting with the 1988 school year (I was a Junior). We all basically said: get bent, used our normal backpacks, and they didn't do anything.
Of course, back then people weren't bringing guns to school, either.
But yeah, I can imagine that built your arm and back strength. 😁
Last year was all we heard for the gun incidents, our high school says their trying to prepare to fight against all that gun stuff that happened to Columbine but all we have for protection is a chubby school police officer with parking ticket papers and a little baby pocket pistol.
The crate weighed around 60 to 70 pounds from what I remembered, it weighed not much less than me, I was a skinny tall guy throughout my life, and I weighed around 120, 130?

@ShrekIsHot Basically. He had a small arsenal of "fake weapons" that he would use when the Ref wasn't looking. He just couldn't use the actual, thick plastic milk crate anymore.
It was one of these things. Somehow, he always caught the people with the edge of it just right that it would cut them open.
He would use it to carry his gimmicks to the ring, then use it as a weapon. I banned the second use.
Another story to add to that, in middle school my principal and teachers made me carry that around all year because I refused to use my locker and took all my work in my backpack, so they made me get rid of everything and use the milk crate for the whole year, I got made fun of constantly and had to carry a HEAVY crate with tons of textbooks and all, lets say I was the strongest kid by the end of that year.
-
I like using the snares more than the pallets, Devour Hope works really good on him for me, people seem not to be bothered by totems for some reason with him.
-
Maybe the timing was weird and funky.
-
@Kilmeran said:
@ShrekIsHot Back in those days, we could have done those backstage skits like that. Only . . . yeah . . . this guy had to have the crate retired. 😁
What was done instead? Did you replace it with some like soft little blow up hammer?

@pootis_Bear Way back in the late 1990s to early 2000s when I owned an independent wrestling company here in the U.S., one of my guys with some clown or mime gimmick (I forget which) always hit people with a plastic milk crate.
Problem was, he didn't know how to pull the hit right (we tried to teach him, he was unteachable), and ended up actually busting a couple of the guys open at the top of their forehead. After the third guy bled, I had to step in and nerf the crate: it was never allowed to be used again.
I firmly believe that crate was a distant cousin of DbD pallets. 🤣
Me: Goes on about my day, doing as I should.
Clown: SMASHES MY SKULL IN WITH A MILK CRATE.
Me: ok

Thanos would fear pallets.

It's Up the Ante.
I feel like you get a token for hitting a great skill check, your chances of skill checks increase by 5% for each token up to 5, but you get 3% gen progression speed to hitting a skill check, but if you miss a skill check, you lose your tokens. Hit your greats and you are rewarded, your chance of opportunity rises and you get rewarded for playing good, but if you fail, you lose it all, it's like gambling.
-
Either she has to either:
1) Get stable internet with good connection.
2) Live with it.
Unfortunate but that's it.

By that logic, so can Tinkerer.
Worth it? I think so.

Undetectable will most likely and certainly be applied on Ghostface's shroud, and permanently on tier 1 of myers.
Maybe on pig's crouch, but it should be implemented. In her current state, she can use all the help she can get.
No, it won't be implemented into Dark Devotion, i highly doubt it. But it could be.
You have 0 TR with Dark Devotion so it would apply.

@Marcus said:
Right now, just Demogorgon has Undetectable status effect. The other killers, perks and add-ons will get it later, as confirmed by devs.
I know this but I wonder how it will come into play later.

Oh they dont win. I just got good enough with Spirit to realize she's an incredibly efficient killer to farm BP quickly. I average about 60k BP for a few minutes of work. So roughly 20 or so games I get about 1 million BP.
The other day I was farming with Spirit with no addons and they popped my ruin pretty quickly and they decided to be toxic and clicky clicky on the pale rose map thinking that without Ruin I would lose since I purposely miss and let the chase drag on when farming.
Turns out when I finally had enough of the behavior they were doing I decided to play serious and crushed them within a couple minutes. Had so much hate mail from them it was sad.
Lesson here at rank reset for rank 10 is best for farming. Do realize your killer was probably rank 1 and dont try to bully the person who clearly is farming.
Run Distressing and just BP builds, that'd be great, Spirit doesn't really need perks for me for how good she is alone.
-
Lithe is the tough one for me.

I play Spirit when I farm tbh anymore. I usually throw ruin on and take addons off. Less pressure for me and I play mehish so everyone has a fair chance. Around the 8 to 10 minute mark a change gears and play seriously so I can get 30k plus bp before BBQ stacks.
Play as you wish but I don't play Killer so Survivors can win.
-
I played her with no headphones, I won't be in PS4 parties when I play Killer cause I did not want to hear background noise.
-
Hopefully is fixed when I come to play, won't play until Sunday and I used to get lag spikes any time I turned as Killer.
-
-
I mean it's fun with Hillbilly but I don't disagree either.

A while back I thought of multiple ways all Killers could use their power as a mori. Let me try and remember them and make up new ideas for new killers... NOTE: Some of these are very graphic
Also, most of these are not actual suggestions, just brainstorms of how a Killer would mori using their power
Trapper - As you said, place the trap over their head and slam it shut (repeatedly?)
Trapper 2 - Open a trap completely, and then shove it deeply into their back. This wouldn't really kill them, but they are NOT getting up from that no matter how hard you rub their butt.
Wraith - Put the bell right next to the survivor's ears, then ring it repeatedly as hard as he can to burst the eardrums
Wraith 2 - Blunt force trauma to the head with the bell
Wraith 3 - While Invisible, beat them up/pick up and strangle/strangle on ground/really anything to kill them
HillBilly - Keep it the way it is right now
HillBilly 2 - Cut [any body part] off
HillBilly 3 - Back up, rev up, cut up
Nurse - Keep it the way it is right now
Nurse 2 - Blink into their body, effectively blowing them to bits once she moves
Huntress - Hers does not use the power, but is SEXY so perhaps keep it?
Huntress 2 - Super Charge the hatchet and throw it into them
Huntress 3 - Same premise as her current animation, but using a throwing hatchet to do the cutting instead
Shape - Secret tier 4 Evil Within triggered by [something lore related to a mori] that allows The Shape to use super human strength and rip their limbs(or just head) right off.*
Hag - Again, she doesn't use her power, but it is still a great mori worth keeping
Hag 2 - Force the survivor's jaw open, place a trap inside of their mouth/throat, and teleport into it blowing up the survivor in a rain of guts and blood.
Cannibal - He already uses his power and it looks great, so keep it?
Cannibal 2 - Cut a body part(s) off
Cannibal 3 - Texas Chainsaw Massacre dance into them
Cannibal 4 - Bubba in the movies is a known cannibal, so perhaps have him cut off a limb and either eat it raw or put it in a bag to take home
Cannibal 5 - Cut their head off with the chainsaw, then use [chainsaw/hands/pocket knife] to cut their face off and either put it on mid match or put it in a bag to take home
Doctor - His kill animation uses his power, so it could be kept
Doctor 2 - Give a prostate exam(check someone's feces for health conditions) using his stick**
Doctor 3 - If they are near anything metal(metal building, hook, toolbox, flashlight, etc.) then throw them into it and then electrocute the metal object, in turn electrocuting them
Nightmare - His technically uses the power, but it's #########, soooooo......
Nightmare 2 - Cockroaches are good for your health
***
Nightmare 3 - Fingergloves kind of count as a power of Freddy Krueger, so use them to make tons of little cuts and bleed them to death
Nightmare 4 - If in the Killer's shack, reenact this scene from the original Nightmare on Elm Street(1:21 for the kill): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UP1vv0wWp4
Pig - Just kill them with a reverse bear trap dude.
Pig 2 - Do the same thing for the trapper kill I suggested, shoving a trap deep into the survivor's back.
Pig 3 - tbag onto their face and poop, causing them to die from injesting feces/ drowing from piss.*Shape's mori was very difficult to come up with. I'm sorry if this one seemed lack luster, but when his power is just to stare at you the only thing could be winning a staring contest and causing the survivor to commit suicide from not being able to beat you.
**This is just a fun little thing I came up with, and obviously I know it does not involve his power and probably wouldn't kill anyone(unless you push hard enough).
*** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_Vm1VHhTA0 Freddy's Kills where also pretty hard to come up with, aside from something comical like making them sleep forever in a little baby crib.Do you want to talk? Are you okay?
-
Infectious Fright, Bamboozle, Pop Goes the Weasel and Monitor and Abuse.
Brutal Beast Myers: Brutal Strength, Fire Up, Bamboozle and Infectious Fright or Save the Best for Last.
All Seeing Myers: Nurse's Calling, Monitor and Abuse, Barbecue and Chili and Surveillance or Discordance.

Very old story I no longer know the original source.
"A couple with children were trying out a new babysitter. About an hour after they left for a night on the town, they realized they had forgotten to give her their cell phone number, so one of them called her.
After she wrote down the number, the babysitter asked if she could watch satellite TV in their bedroom. She had just put the children to bed and wanted to watch a particular show. (The parents didn’t want their children watching too much garbage, so the living room TV did not have satellite channels.)
Well of course she could watch TV in their room, they replied. The babysitter had one other request: could she put a sheet or blanket over the clown statue that was in the bedroom? It kind of made her nervous.
Take the children and go to the neighbors, said whichever parent was talking to her. We’ll call the police. We don’t have a clown statue.
The police caught the clown as he was running through the neighborhood."
....Have a good night! <3
Something kinda similar is a documentary about this Clown dude coming out, very cool.
Looks like the Clown too, very similar face paint.

Have you ever played any other PvP game? It's always *the same thing over and over*.
League of Legends: Farming in Lane -> Then Teamfights.
Overwatch: Standing on objectives.
Apex Legends: Trying to eliminate everyone else on the same map even.
I think, for your typical online multiplayer game, DBD has enough variety IMHO.
What this guy said. :)
Rainbow Six Siege: Kill enemy and capture objective, or hold objective.
PUBG: Be the last one standing.
Destiny: Do missions and get loot.
Call of Duty: Kill, repeat.
I don't even want to talk about Fallout 76, what a joke.
This game will improve.

That fixes nothing.
With Dying Light and Thanatophobia a gen will take like 100 seconds to finish.
Body block and kill the obsession lol.
Seriously though, they'll end up killing the obsession some time.

Not gonna happen, ever, the creators of Dead by Daylight will not feature kids being hit, killed, not take upon the trials of the entity.

Ruin hardly slows the game down, at top tier play. Good survivors can hit their greats.
I'm talking about how boring a longer bar makes the game. There isn't really a skill factor involved in making a charge bar take longer.
That's what I am talking about though, good survivors could care less about the debuff.
-
Sloppy, Thanatophobia and Dying Light? How to fix that when injured? Don't heal lol.
Hex: Ruin slows the game down and requires you to play better, just live with it.
-
It's just how many people are playing cause of release, have fun facing only Demo for a week. He's fun to play as and against though.

I was playing against the new killer in Springwood, but maybe. Does it not go away? Persisted the entire match and was between the edges of the screen and sometimes went to the middle.
Could be a bug, should only last while portal breaking.

When does it happen? They added a Vignette to the portal breaking stuff.

RIP Borrowed Time against Freddy lol.

Asking the community to calm down after a really minor nerf, are you insane?

-
What Killers do you plan on adjusting, add on wise then power wise?
-
Committing, life wise and game wise, not relationship wise (been dating for 3 years, possibly marrying) but sometimes I don't got the motivation for some goals or tasks and I need to build on that, same thing for DBD, I'll abandon loops if I feel I need to stop gens, maybe I should have that thought in real life, instead of wasting my time on something that would take too long, prioritizing better things and wait for my opportunity again.
