"heavy" lol
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1171110#Comment_1171110
lol no, stop being a doomer, she's top 3 right now because of her mobility, not passive phasing lmao
She got a vaulting animation, she lost collision while phasing and many of her addons got hit pretty hard.
I call that heavy.
-
She took a bunch of steroids. Her deeper voice is judt the beginning. She's the next killer.

I'm not asking for a goddamn nerf, I've already said that 5 fking times. I'm asking a QUESTION. WHY WAS THE PASSIVE PHASE ADDED TO SPIRIT.
And the easy answer is: because BHVR decided to design her that way. The missing vaulting animation was really cool too imo. But collision while phasing wasn't good.
-
Yes. Would be like that:
Kate: "You wanna marry me? <3"
Genny: "*intense technical noises*"

Henlo frien! :D

If you want to easily 4k every single game then yes. She should take a long time to learn because then we'd be going against Nurse 24/7 in red ranks and it would just be a slaughter house. I'm fine with SOME games being an instant lose as soon as you hit ready up just not all of them.
The base nerf changed nothing for me. It only made her learning curve hell.
-
Because. Why does billys chainsaw break pallets?
Spirit got a heavy nerf some months ago, leave her alone for some time.
-
I summon @BigBrainMegMain to defend that poor Jane!

Pop is really good on legion, i agree.

Not often, but that's how it should be. Nurse is supposed to be hard to play.
I needed about 1k hours to get good as nurse. Should she be that hard?

Nurse has only 3 stuns/slowdowns: Blade wipe, post blink Fatigue, and post blink Fatigue after an unsuccessful strike which lasts longer than a successful strike or no strike. If not for her blink ability she is literally the slowest killer in the game moving at 3.68 meters per second, but because she can blink for 20 meters at a time, she has crazy good mobility. Deathslinger on the other hand is no where near this in mobility, requires precision aiming, a limited range, and has 5 slowdowns just for using his power to try and injure/down a survivor... one of which occurs when he successfully hits a survivor with his ability. A Nurse player can down a survivor after 2 successful blink strikes in much less time than Deathslinger can even get his first successful strike on a survivor. Not as many stuns? You must be joking.
I do. Deathslinger got way more slowdowns and horrible mobility, but technically nurse eats more stuns due to being stunned after every ability use.
-
Can i get a TL:DR please? That' a WoT.
-
"Stridor" is really good on her. I prefer Ruin+Surveillance, Sloppy/Whispers and BBQ on her.

unbreakable - lets you complete the bar 35% and lets you get up instantly once (after which you can get up just like you said with no perk, while keeping your 35% progression rate)
no mither - lets you get up every time (normal completion rate)
no perk - lets you complete the bar to 95%, then after 30-40 more seconds of being slugged you are able to get up.
I don't see a problem
Me neither. First change would be a natural buff to bloodwarden, thats kinda cool. Second change would be a nerf to slugging AND Unbreakable, also really nice.
-
It's easy, but nobody documented their sourcecode, they got no idea of nothing.

Ok but wouldn't removing the cooldown be a buff?
Nurse can still be completely busted and a good Nurse will 4k every game with ease. All they need to do is fix the bugs, then nurse will be fine.
How often do you meet one of those god nurses?

My wife doesn't play DbD, but she'll wreck face in Overwatch lol
She wants me to play with her, but she's a dirty console player so... no way. #pcmasterrace
Plus, I suck at shooters. She'd be yelling at me the entire time for being bad.
My boyfriend also wanted me to play BO4 and Overwatch, but i only played Brigitte so he changed his opinion pretty fast. :)
-
Pipping as survivor is really easy, that's the problem.
-
That's the main problem of dbd. Depip squads dominate every killer and solos suffer under really sweaty killers.
-
I have more fun playing killer and swf too. As solo you can be a god and loose, because of a few megheads.
-
I'm surprised by the big percentage of toolboxes. Medkits are easy items with good value and flashlights are difficult items with huge value. I expected both 8f those to be #1 and #2.
-
The devs still didn't fixed macro usage, so he can be rendered to uselessness by exploits. Good killer design.

I just wish there some sort of compensation for half of these, but killers don't get compensation smh
I would've appreciated the ruin nerf, if they would've buffed some underwhelming gen slow perks like "Surge" and "Dying Light". And just buffed some of the low tier killers. But no, we nerf ruin and make toolboxes useless, there ya got BHVRd!

No not really, works for me everytime if they decide to drop pallets instant.
For me nearly everytime too. But not always.
-
Deathslinger is not that good anyway imo. Hangman's Trick got gutted too much, they should buff it back a bit. Pigs TR nerf was just a memey pig nerf, because pig op or smth like that. Ruin nerf boosted way too many survs and made red ranks solo horrible.
-

I agree.
Trapper is so fast, that he needs to pace himself down to a walk, just so he can be in line to same 115% movement speed as the majority of the killer cast.
He would be like 150% when he would run. So op dude!
-
Not as many stuns as nurse lol.

The trick is not to follow just one survivor around the whole map and break 20 pallets. Follow him for 2-3 pallets, maybe 4 if he instant drops them... Then go back controlling the gens and keep them away. In 2 minutes the map has so many deadzones that you can M1 snowball them
That one works against solos and unorganized swf. Optimal SWF know how to beat ya.
-
Fix her bugs. That's the realistic expectation.
Revert the basekit nerf. That's just a wish.

If the survivor drops it without looping it once it's a free pallet, I take that any day. If he tries to loop it's a free shot.
@aregularplayer said:

breaks the pallet?
Well noticed my dudes. That's his main problem. There are enough of tgose pallets on most maps for 110%.
-
What does he do, when the survivor drops the pallet on a long loop?
-
@Steve0333 said:
Moris are fair so are keys.
Keys can only be used once the hatch has spawned and in solos actually causes survivors to abandon their objective usually to the benefit of the killer.
Moris are fair because gen speeds go to fast. Moris force survivors to actually play good (win chases against the killer) and not just rush gens.
They are fair, but not fun for both sides. So why not just change both? Because they are fair? Cmon.
-
Because everyone would dodge killers with a bit of experience regardless of their profile comments?
-
GF.
Hag is horrible against SWF teams and you need to think a lot while playing her.
Deathslinger is horrible against SWF teams too and he got the map pressure of a rock.

It is definitely not a brand new part. A brown lasts for about 10% of a gen and it barely increases the speed.
They're a waste of bloodpoints. Completely pointless taking them in, may as well just hoard them. I expected charges to be reduced but the amounts they did it by were beyond stupid. 180 charges down to 32 charges. It should have been a fairer change rather than just trying to push everyone to use them for sabotaging. Which in time killer mains will cry loudly enough about and that will get changed too.
TECHNICALLY a BNP. You use them like a BNP, but they're not as effective as a BNP, that's true.
-
OoO is just really bad designed in my opinion. The devs refuse to rework it (together with Sole btw), because they are a group of weirdos with a weird balancing mentality.
-
All toolboxes are essentially a BNP for gens and sabo tools now. Only worth running in swf, i prefer a medkit anyway. :)

Sorry to ask you, but does that mean that you wouldn't recommend running Auto-Didact together with We'll Make It?
In which case I would imagine that a build such as: Empathy, Auto-Didact, Solidarity, Botany Knowledge/Resilience/Spine Chill
would actually be BETTER than a build using: Empathy, We'll Make It, Kindred?
"Autodidact" is essentially a build-up "We'll make it". Skill checks are random and autodidact needs them to build up it's stacks. The faster you heal, the less checks you get. And autodidact on five needs no lore healing boost. :)
-
I recommend Billy for "Enduring".
-
I do play legion with SF+Enduring and never respect pallets. People get so mad for some reason.
-
There are masses of complaints about swf groups since the devs enabled the feature. According to the devs most swf groups are just innocent friends that wanna play together. Bully with friends groups don't exist. (sarcasm!)

That actually sounds like a very nice solid build, I might have to work on unlocking Autodidact so that I can try it out! Is Solidarity really that good though?
I just recently started running Kindred again after someone suggested it above and it's pretty amazing for unhooks actually.
I was thinking of maybe trying Empathy, Autodidact, Kindred, We'll Make It.
Does Autodidact just work in a way that when you have tokens each time you get a successful healing skill check it automatically jumps progression of the heal slate by a certain %?
Like example, "Great Skill Checks" typically increase the heal slate by like a small % immediately, does Auto-Didact essentially work the same way?
I'm bummed I didn't pick it up when it was in the Shrine recently, now I'll probably have to level Adam Francis to 40 to get it haha :(
"Autodidact" works best without additional healing speed, because you need to get three skill checks to get value for the first time. It's godlike with five tokens. :)
"Solidarity" pairs well with "Autodidact", because the healing buffs from "Autodidact" give "Solidarity" progress. Me like this!
The combination of "Kindred" and "We'll make it" is really good, i agree.

Wow, you rushed an Oni who was more lethal without his power? that's impressive. He didn't even down someone with his power lol. That's a baby Oni.
It's not really on Oni to get downs with his power imo. More like: is the survivor a meghead? Nice! One more down.
-
My favourite support healer build is:
- "Empathy"
- "Autodidact"
- "Solidarity"
- "Botany Knowledge"/ any exhaustion perk
As item you can use a medkit to fill your solidarity heal full if you need it.
-
My personal four active perks on nurse are: BBQ, Nurse's, M&A and I'm all ears
Don't listen to people that tell you that "I'm all ears" is worth it on any other killer than nurse btw.
-
I want to remember this community. An ancient member of those forums called @GrootDude once said wise words: "Burn the corn!"

Never. It will never stop...

"Iron Will" is godlike on a good survivor. I hope they leave it like that and don't add a dumb limitation, looking at you "Lucky Break".

I agree with you and Oicimau that he has trouble with map pressure. I would be ok with a buff there.
I thought if it would be good to add a small wind-up and a scoping notification for him in exchange for 115%. It would lower his chase potential for map pressure. (something like that would help huntress too imo btw)
