Instahealing with autodidact. So damn satisfying.
-
Sometimes pressuring one survivor is good, sometimes pressuring multiple ones.
-
You're just a meta player. Autodidact builds are godlike in swf teams.
-
I do that with info perks. I just use info perks and sometimes utility/chase like STBFL. My sister looks good with i'm all ears.

So, I'm new here I've been playing this game for about 9 months now, and I'm at red ranks, DS is probably used 80% of the time and I notice how killers (Red ranks at least) either avoid it or eat it. I notice if the killer is aggressive he's gonna eat the DS and not give a * BAD WORD* about it and continue going after Mr. DS. If the killer doesn't wanna get a 5 second stun he'll ignore it and slug. But I've noticed about everyday I go on to the forums I see at least 1 discussion about how DS needs a nerf because of how annoying it is. Please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't it already get a nerf? I'm watching old DBD videos and it seems like you could use DS anytime you wanted. I don't see the big deal about it. You either ignore it or eat it, simple eating it is probably for the best so it is used early game. The majority that are complaining either ignore it until end game, which I don't and usually just consume it so I don't have to deal with it later. I run DS but I don't abuse it by jumping in lockers, personally I just hate getting tunneled and if it comes down to having an extra chance of NOT dying I'd like to have it. Thoughts?
Yeah. Exactly. Another chance of not dying in form of a perk. Put in three more and you got FOUR chances to not die. See the problem?
-
You think DS is good and balanced, we all got it. The reality is, that it's by far the most used perk in red ranks for a reason.
-
Uhhhhh!!!!
-
That's too reliable. BHVR doesn't design reliable perks (anymore).
-
Oni is a bad killer, spasmodic breath is a good addon, Meghoon is the ultimate survivor of all time, i could go on and on.
-
Zanshin is good for learning tiles, but that's it. Way more value of other perks.
-
Trapper. He's just too smart. Or i'm a blind piece of aubergine, you decide.
Honestly, i wanted to say claudette, but quantons are so damn smart.
-
I think the better question is, if "Iron Will" shouldn't be limited. It's meta for a reason.
-
@Blueberry said:
No, it's not. Also, your complaint has nothing to do with "killer sided" at all and is completely related to poor dedicated server ping.
This. The servers are a big problem for both sides.

Not as broken as you might think. The occasional ghost face and wraith math up makes the perk not always good.
Not always good, but never bad, because it got build-in premonition without a CD.
-
The first idea ia nice.
-
Not imo. My no-addons build consists of: PGTW, BBQ, Fire up! and Dark Devotion.
-
It's survivor sided when the survivors are good, yes. I'm surprised that they left the two infinites on this map alone in the last big map rework.

@BigBubs said:
The corn exists exactly for that reason. Why should it be removed because you and some others have eye issues?
A full map with only killer LoS blockers is maybe a bit broken. Just a lil bit.
Anyway, i throw in the infamous petition "Burn the corn!" from Sir @GrootDude again.
-
One of the bugs that is not gamebreaking, but annoying. Due to the bugged UR addon "Torn Bookmark" it's impossible to get the "From the Void she kills" - achievement atm too.
-
@DelsKibara said:
I'll just let you know that that is not the worst you will ever go against in Red Ranks.
I've seen much worse.
Same. And the Ghostface build is not that great on top of that. Did you notice that those "invincible" survivors use AmN and WGLF? xD

In all seriousness though, you’re playing as Legion. Splitting up is the best strategy whilst going against them. Doesn’t help that one of their perks is Discordance, so I’m always wary of that.
That's how it looks like. They splitting up and rushing injured against an anti-heal legion. Unfortunaly that's all it takes and you can do nothin as killer. Feelsbadman.

Right but even being unsafe there is still mind game potential because the players can't see each other.
Badham pallets aren't so bad EXCEPT there's no mind game and they become unsafe when the killer gets bloodlust. If all pallets were semi-safe with a mind game like 4 walls are, then we wouldn't need bloodlust.
True. How about the badham loops with massive walls?

The Outside Pallets on Badham are great. They would be even better if Bloodlust would not exist. The Killer has a fair chance to outplay the Survivor and the Survivor has a fair chance to outplay the Killer and get distance. This gets ruined by Bloodlust.
But other than that, Badham Pallets are really good. I like the amount and the safety level of them.
With Hawkins, they did too much when it comes to the lack of safety.
Yeah definitly agree. I personally think not many people understand hawkins truly. You can loop the killer for quite some time with just throwing pallets preemtively and creating infinites, because killers tend to leave pallets untouched on hawkins.
-
4 wall jungle gyms are pretty unsafe if the killer knows what he's doing. I think the pallets on badham are pretty nice (except for the infinites in th school and the house of pain of course).
-
@LetsPlayTogether said:
So killers get that Information for free and can lobby dodge or change their loadout as they want. But when survivors do the same thing its cheating? Double standards again.
4v1 m8. The one needs to get some advantages.

It wasn’t hard to complete. As soon as I stopped trying to complete it, I completed it. I was in the basement opening a chest and a teammate brought the killer and looped them for almost a minute above.
Just run Calm Spirit to avoid Doctors powers or infectious fright.
I actually did it on "The Game" by accident lol.
-
No, it not just excludes any gen kicking perks it's also still as unreliable as it were before and got a way worse effect, go for perks that give you a reliable effect.
-
There are a few maps that are still not balanced. Disturbed Ward, Rotten Fields and The Game are just examples.

Hes a new player in the game, he admitted this earlier, hes bothered by the fact that while yeah they can be countered, it is much more difficult to pick up killer because of meta perks at literally all ranks. He didnt say he was a god tier player 😑
That's understandable. It's difficult for people to remember all perks and what they do as a beginner. And nurse against second chances isn't fun.
-
It takes a lot of time to understand dbd. I don't think you really understood it rn.
Not saying you are stupid, but you need more playtime on both sides. All second chance perks are counterable to an extend. Anyway, i agree that there are edge cases where you are unable to do anything against them perks and that's the reason people use them.
-
I did it with mirror myers on the game, but i recommend farming.
-
I think i'm the only persn that can't play spirit. I'm seriously bad with her.
-
I don't rely on sounds in my information builds anymore. Just auras.
-
@Rydog said:
What's the controversy over stretched resolution? Can someone explain what he's referring to?
Basically you can watch around corbers you shouldn't be able to. This eliminates mindgames at alot of loops and hurts mostly low tier killer.

Feel like alot of people dont realize this, but Myers vaults faster than normal even in EW2.
In EW2 it's not that big of a difference, but EW3, hell yeah.

I wonder what it would look like if you did fire up, bamboozle during tier 3....
Infectious fright, bamboozle, fire up, brutal might absolutely wreck on myers
The vaulting animation is basically non-existent. xD
He's fun with vauting and breaking speed, but just better with BBQ+Pop.
-
A compliment for you AND an insult for poor demoboi. How dare he do dis!!!!

Wait how does Fire Up work with EW3?! Explain to me
EW3 boosts your vaulting speed. Fire up boosts that even more while still assisting you to kick pallets and apply PGTW.

True that would make soul guard work well but it's a very specific build that only works in a specific scenario, plus you might not have deliverance active or you might be on your second hook. If I was trying this build I would use Sprint Burst or Dead Hard as they would accomplish the same thing as Soul Guard while also benefiting me during the game. But I do admit that if you get it to work it would be pretty satisfying.
You know what the problem of SB or DH is? DH gives you literally no distance and SB can be denied by good reactions. Nobody would pretict freaking soulguard. xD
-
I really thought this would be like: Use Enduring and never respect any pallets. xD

I still think No Mither should start you off healthy but not allow you to be healed in any means (work as it does now), this way you have at least a chance to get yourself up without the huge " I'M RUNNING NO MITHER" icon above your head right off the start.
I fell the same way with Huntress Lullaby that basically screams "I HAVE LULLABY HEX" before the perk has even gotten a single token.
Yep, both perks definitly need a buff!

Doesn't that assume that the killer will be waiting out the 60 second timer right next to the downed survivor? If someone deliverances in front of me and I assumed they had DS I would either pick them up to waste DS or go and pressure someone else. Either way Soul Guard would be useless so I think you would want something else instead like an exhaustion perk.
Endgame. Killer slugs you after deliverance. You get up with UB and tank a hit with soul guard. He picks you up you use DS.
-
Myers
Fire Up, Dark Devotion, PGTW and BBQ
no addons
It's nice for farming BP and got a surprisingly strong synergy. Fire Up synergises with EW3 and PGTW. PGTW synergises with BBQ. BBQ synergises with EW3 and Dark Devotion.
-
OMG no mither builds are soooo broken now.
Seriously, it's good with unbreakable when timed right. Not op, just another protection layer on top of Deliverance, DS and UB. That combination of perks is obviously op, but soul guard as a perk not.
-
Easy borrowed time.

You’re wrong she needed a nerf. She’s still good though, a good nurse player still gets ez downs. I see it happen on console all the time. She definitely didn’t need 5 blinks that’s excessive. Psssh. Entitled killer mains wanting ez 4Ks every game.
Love your content bro. Keep it going!!!

There are already replacements for her. Oni can get a 4k off 2 M1 hits. Freddy is outrageous in general. Spirit is still dumb since you can put on stridor and collect your free downs.
Oni is not even as good as billy man. xD
As you said, he needs M1 hits. Now what do good survivors against him? Deny his power till eternity.
Freddy is stupidly easy tho.

From my experience basement blinks are more or less the fault of the player. Sanctums basement was fixed, and that's the only one I encountered since I started to play nurse (tbh hasn't been that long).
Basement blinks are partly fault of players and partly bugged, that's why the bug is so difficult to fix.

She needed a nerf. Is was completely justified. Basekit nurses 4ked like hell. Thats a undeniable fact.
Yeah they did because they dumped thousands of hours in nurse man. xd

I'll never do that challenge. xD
