New generator idea, and two new perks for Dead By Daylight

When a Survivor reaches 90% when repairing a generator, they receive the Oblivious Effect. The reason the Survivor receives the Oblivious Effect is due to the generator's thundering sound also, the closer the Survivor is to finishing the generator the more focused they are on completing it. However with this, there will be two Perks introduced into the game. One for the killer and the other for the Survivor. The Killer's Perk (Dismay) changes the 90% to 85/80/75 percent to when you receive the Oblivious Effect. On the other hand, the Survivor's Perk (Determination) changes the 90% to 95/100(No Effect)/100(No Effect & Reduced overall sound of the generator).

If this doesn't sound appealing then I believe the Skill Checks should be changed. Meaning instead of only Clock-wise rotation of the Skill Check. It changes to every other, meaning it will be Clock-wise then Counter Clock-wise and so on and so forth.

Reminder these are just my ideas that I think should be added to the game so take everything I say with a grain of salt. Also, feel free to comment on changes you would put to my ideas and what not.

Comments

  • The first idea ia nice.

  • The first idea is basekit tinkerer. No.

  • If the killer and survivir have the tier 3 perk, who wins out?

  • No to all ideas.

Regarding Oblivious-->This will not affect high Rank Survivors at all. They are aware. If a high Rank Survivor is sitting on a Gen it is quite hard to sneak up with a Stealth Killer. Low Rank Survivors will most likely have problems with that. But should it really be harder for low Rank Survivors?

The Perks should be dismissed as well, regardless if the first idea is an option or not. Nobody would use either of those Perks and they will just be an increase of the grind.

Regarding Skill Checks counter-clockwise-->This is part of Docs ability. While it is not hard at all to hit a counter-clockwise Skill Check, it would be quite lame to have same Basekit, this would make it even easier to hit them. Let them be unique to Doc.

  • Just echoing above posts, but for the most part all of these suggested changes already exist in the game. Counter-clockwise is specific to Doctor, and Tinkerer is one of Hillbilly's teachables. I'm actually surprised I don't see Tinkerer more often because it can be really useful when used right. It's actually stronger than just giving Oblivious status because killer is given Undetectable, so the survivor doesn't get the notification.
