That's a valid point. I WANT PARTY TOOLBOXES.

Only if the other party is acting in good faith. Otherwise, you get ######### treating you like a doormat because not only are you gonna put up with it, you're gonna reward them for it.
I have to admit, i stop playing nice against OoO users and very toxic players in general. But against a bunch of solos? Hey, i get my hooks, let them so challenges ans escape.
-
I don't stop being nice. Only positivety causes positivety.

You want it to die because you refuse to see the truth. In denial
Is tunneling not real too then?
Because it's the most effective way to apply pressure as killer.

Nurse main with 1k hours
She is easily the best killer in the game, and i mean like, by far.
I disagree and i got over 1k hours only on nurse. Spirit is stronger because she's less buggy and less map dependant.
-
I dropped DS a while ago. I only equip DH when i'm really tired and my reactions are equal to a stoned turtle.
I usually use "Bond", " Autodidact", "Spine Chill" and "Lithe". It's not the strongest build for sure, but i'm addicted to stacks.

What do you think would make her playable again, especially for players new to her?
I think the most important thing is fixing her bugs. It's very frustrating to perform a perfect blink as beginner and get robbed because nurse just don't wants to M1 after the blink.
The CD is a clunky mechanic. To make it more smooth i would allow nurse to regain charges while charging her blink at a much lower rate. That would remove the frustrating scenarios where you charge your second blink to 99 and perform one blink just to have to charge two blinks again.
-
Learning nurse is not rewarding anymore. She's fun for me after 1000+ hours, but only because i can ignore when the game robs me from perfect blinks due to bugs.
-
I think she's a solid B-tier. Her slowdown is RNG dependant, but pretty good overall. She got stealth and a dash attack for mindgames at pallet loops.
-
I got it too after around two weeks of salt and unpurposely deranking.
-
The REAL Billy nerfs are the engravings nerf and the roar if he starts chainsawing. It essentially kills flick billy, a very good AND skillful build.

The problem is, it's often quite understandable why people DC. That's not to say it's justified to quit just because you don't like the killer or you wanted to rage quit, but a Mori? Vault spammers? Facecampers? Deathsquads? Stealth arseholes? Bleed-out wankers? Game-breaking bugs and glitches? Overtly evil map offerings?
It's hard to tell someone "yeah, just stay in the game and continue to play" when it would be more fun to sandpaper your forehead.
You can still AFK and do something else.

R.A.V.E.R.D.I.M.E.N.S.I.O.N
-
The DC penalties are good for people like you that simply don't want to understand why it's ruining the game.
-
Kate because @kate_best_girl . Seriously, i like her because she looks a bit like Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
-
The roar is really uncool.
-
The challenge is BS.
-
I usually get survivors that got quite, let's say, optimal perks against the killer i'm playin. And Spirit gets dodged. Hmmmm...

I really don't get OoO tunnelers tbh, as much as I think the perk need to completely change because of SwF, chances are that the OoO wants your attention/is good at looping, ignoring them has never betrayed me yet, in fact, it makes THEM mad.
I usually just stop playing nice when i see object.

Much true very banjo.

Smurfs are detremental for every multiplayer game. Everyone that doesn't smurfs got that opinion. Smurfs obviously abuse matchmaking on different accounts.

Well maybe the add-ons, Idk, I haven't really played pig yet? But I thought the whole point of putting a trap on someone was to get them to (hopefully, if they don't get it off in the first attempt) waste time searching boxes, giving you time to pressure gens or chase and down other survivors? Otherwise you just game them a fancy helmet for...reasons???
Yeah that's the reason. You usually shouldn't chase them after putting a trap on EM.
-
Nope her trap effect addons like exhaustion or mangled are pretty useless.

Totally get that. But there are people who abuse that, like so many things.
Then the problem are toxic players and not bubba's cosmetics. I mean you wouldn't be angry at the producer of a black shirt because the person wearing it is racist do you?
-
Nice, thanks for fixing this one fast BHVR!!!

If they nerf Spirit again after backtracking on the Billy changes I’m done with this game lol
And if killers truly want DS to be an anti-tunnel perk only, then does that mean that if it has to deactivate when another survivor is hooked or they touch a gen etc, does the 60 second timer get increased to compensate? Afterall if the killer comes seeking me out and then we have a chase and they try to pick me up 80 seconds after unhook it’s still tunneling right? Something to think about
Timer doesn't go down in chase. Boom.
-
Sprintburst is also pretty good against this build and a CLEAR counter. SB is also pretty common because it's the best exhaustion perk.

I have close to 2000 hours.
Countering her? I dunno, it’s just like a sixth sense. Being able to guess what she’s going to do next. A lot of Spirits are predictable. Just as you need to be unpredictable as survivor against a Spirit or Nurse, a Spirit needs to be unpredictable as survivor.
Why dont I think shes op? Just based on thousands of games. I’ve played for 2k hours and seen good players, bad players, and in average Spirit doesn’t completely dominate as often as some other killers do. This was backed up with the stats last November too. This is why I complained about Billy on here and not Spirit because I noticed Billys were dominating far more often than Spirits due to Billy being easier to play and his kit having no downsides.
For example, consider the following scenarios....
Spirit hooks a survivor. She sees another some distance away with BBQ. She phases walks over at 176% speed. She reappears next to the survivor, but now her power is on cooldown so she’s chasing at 4.4m/s and she has to land 2 hits before that survivor goes down. This gives the other survivors time to rescue from the hook.
Now consider Billy. He hooks a survivor. Zooms across the map with bbq at 230% speed. He has his power available instantly, instadowns this survivor, now he leaves them slugged and zooms back to the hook to deny the unhook. If they’re already unhooked he can m1 to slug and then chase the unhooked, or he can arrive before the unhook happens and chase the would-be unhooker with an instadown.
Spirits kit has downsides. She has to 2-hit every survivor, she’s slow, her power has a cooldown. This keeps her in check and stops her snowball from being too much. Billy never had that.
That’s why after thousands of games I don’t feel like spirit is as overwhelming as people make her out to be. Not as much as Billy when things fall in place for him. Sure sometimes rng can hold his snowball back but when it starts its nigh-on impossible to stop.
Again my opinions are based on my personal experience based on thousands of games over a period of 2000 hours playtime so you may not agree but this is just my experience.
Except you actually see billy all the time and therefore he's loopable. Unlike spirit. Billy was just insanely because of people like you.

NOED acts as a perk to punish survivors who want to rush the game and not do bones at all. A lot of times the killer isn't even running NOED but the idea that it might be there is powerful, and encourages wasting some time on totems.
DS acts as a tunneling prevention perk, a lot of times the survivor won't even have DS and the killer still slugs for 60s or just goes for the unhooker. The idea that DS is there is powerful
Imagine if DS or NOED weren't there
Survivors wouldn't give 2 shlts about bones games would go in like 4 minutes
Killers would just tunnel you off the hook and make it a 1v3 at 3 gens.
"bUt wHAt iF i aM oN mIDwICH!!?!"
Midwich got the totem spots right
Take some time to watch a vid on all totem spots on the map it won't be an issue in no time, there's like one of these for each map.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icop4YE3q0U
'bUt, iF thEY jUmp iN lOckER!"
Eat the DS, or just leave the man alone. Just go for the unhooker in the first place and this wouldn't be a problem at all, they fixed BT for a reason.
Except NOED is not a good perk and DS is godlike.

OoO is a meme. I only run it as survivor when I want killer interaction. The rest is just RNG. How can you complain about RNG. So what ? They got lucky . Big deal. You can still respect the pallets and then tunnel them down?
It's about the information the survivors can exchange between each other. And OoO is by no means a meme perk.
We can hop in a custom match on midwich and you try to hit me with trapper in under five minutes. If you manage to do it, OoO is a meme. xD

I mean I'm actually being dead serious lol. I really cannot wrap my head around why people truly think that killer is so hard. Swf doesnt even seem that bad, sure theres a lot of communication in swf. But it's not much more then your terror radius already gives away?
OoO, totem locations, loop locations and loop management, unhook management, gen management, should i go on? Seems like way more than TR to me.

can you tell me those opinions? I dont watch both of them but would like to know what they are up to. thx in adavance
Tru3 thinks M&A plus Nurse's is one of the best perk combinations on nurse. He also thinks spirit is better than nurse, because She is way less map dependant and not infested with bugs.
On the other hand tru3 thinks wraith is top 3 with hit and run and old bubba was underrated, despise the counterplay to his build was literally dropping pallets a bit earlier.
OhTofu thinks old billy is the most balanced killer in dbb and that he offers enough counterplay.
He also thinks nurse is the best killer in dbd by far and got a very good rework.

That happens... Is a game, u can't always win. Once again, marking ur words, the possibility of coming into a match without having any Chance of actually succeeding cause the killer mori everyone first hook, camp or tunnel is pretty depressing for both sides, and they wont do anything about it, we can't do anything about it as surv, we cant do anything about premades as killers, sometimes u win sometimes u lose.
The thing is there is always this fight between killers and survis and it wont stop. Some survs are ######### cliking and tbaging one game, annoying the killer unsitl the end playing toxic, so the next game the killer decides to mori at first hook and ######### others games. One game a killers decides to camp and the next game surv decides to just play safe and genrush the ######### out of the next killer. Sadly is how it works and people wont stop playing like this.
Ok i let you go with: "Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose."

I have nothing against the guy but he definitely has a killer bias he can’t admit to. He thinks because he plays both sides equally that isn’t the case but theres definitely a bias.
For example he will get the most toxic killer in the world and make excuses for their behaviour. « Oh he must be letting off steam after bad games » etc, but doesn’t apply this to survivors when they can get tilted too after a number of awful games.
Secondly he cares about pips but acts like its unfair if he gets a pip but survivors escape. He thinks outplaying the other team should grant the kills. Now thats fair but my issue is he doesn’t apply this logic to the state of solo survivor right now. He often says you’re playing for pips not to escape and acts like people should be happy with that. Well no I disagree if you’ve played really well and yet you die game after game after game after game its infuriating, especially when its to really bad killers. Survivors shouldnt go into a game thinking « I know im not going to escape », thats the whole objective of the game. Solo survivor is a depressing mess but he acts like somehow its fine to expect to lose every game as survivor?
I define losing and winning with pips too. Just like the game itself does.
-
I agree with tru3's opinion about nurse, but i definitly disagree with wraith and bubba.
I agree with tofu's opinion about Billy, but heavily disagree with this opinion about nurse.

Those numbers also show that those 4 man hit squads are insanely rare, but everyones anecdotal evidence says "every game" is one of them.
It don't matter how rare they are. Even the possibility of coming into a match without having any Chance of actually succeeding is pretty depressing for both sides.
-
I like the current version. Do you know why? Billy can be learned without throwing a hundred matches.

Yeah i mean, i knwo it's not a surv nerf itself, but by buffing those perks they are nerfing the survs again :c
The only thing new lightborn does is countering guaranteed locker blinds.
Tinkerer is just another tracking perk now.
Franklins gets countered by dropping your item in a certain spot you memorize.
I know you're pretty biased towards survivor, but the math, so actual FACTS and not just an opinion, tells us that 4man sweat squads are able to win most of their matches regardless of the killers skill level.
So blame BHVR for not bringing Solos so SWF level and buffing killers accordingly.
-
The speed limiter is useless, at least against good survivors.
The undetectable chainsaw is cool, but map reliant and unconsistent.
They're both bad and not worth being URs like the last few they made.

I enjoy deathslinger at the moment. I like the insane chase potential. :)

In regard to mint rag, i just didnt know she could teleport to untripped traps.
In regards to hag, i always felt that she was insanely powerful. But now i have to deal with her constantly
Oh because she's in the archives. Yeah she's strong, but even MYC mint rag is beatable.
