Yeah I’ve alway wanted nurse to be more balanced but I can’t think of any reasonable way to do it
Because there's no actual way to balance her, since basically she sets the power level. She doesn't need nerf, she needs a rework.
And yeah, yeah, I know Nurse mains will start yelling, but that's true sadly, you cannot make content, that breaks fundamental rules of your game. For example; in MTG there's a rule that you can have max 4 copies of each card in your deck, BUT they've made cards that said 'you can have unlimited amount of this card in your deck'. And long story short, in one of the formats you can really break the game so quickly with it. Or even better - players have turns in order - player A than B than A (or A, B, C, A, B, C, depending on number of players) etc. And there are cards that say 'take extra turn'. It's not only not fun to play against, not only not interactive, but extremely, extremely powerful or even extremely overpowered.
And going back to Nurse, she also breaks the fundamental rule - walls, as silly as it sounds. And yes, it's possible to avoid her blinks, but dodging her has nothing to do with game mechanics, you don't have a 'dodge' button or something. Game is painfully basic when it comes to the movement and defense against killers that survivors have are pallets and vault mechanic - both next to being useless against the Nurse.
I think she should've been reworked completely and then as the power level of the best killer drops, some changes to other killers, perks could be made to make stuff that's now 'not meta' more viable. But I think if Nurse stays the same it's going to be progressively more difficult to create killers that can be 'competitive' and by competitive I just mean viable on higher MMR.
-
She needs to expose survivors once she's out of phase.
-
Okay, remove Dead Hard, but make face camping and tunneling a bannable offense.

To the people that say, "Just time out anyone with high ping", you dont seem to realise how atrociously bad server coverage across the world is for this game. Alot of highly populated places physically cant get lower than 100ms, because the next server hub is just so far away.
Well, then pair people with high ping together. I don't see a reason why someone with ping 10 should suffer and play with someone with 500. It's not my fault they can't get proper connection.
That's why I love Tarkov's solution so much. They don't give a ######### - you have bad connection? Boo-hoo, fix it, if you want to play.
-
@Rey_512 said:
What should the devs do, exactly?
Answer is EXTREMELY simple. Have you played Escape from Tarkov? Devs managed to do something painfully simple - if your ping is above 140 (I think), you get disconnected. Period. You have like 10 seconds to stabilize your connection, maybe it just jumps for a second - happens. But bottom line - you cannot use VPN to play on ping zillion anymore.
-
Legion is annoying and boring. Hold M1 simulator, even more than it already is.
Other I'd say Huntress. Hitboxes are bullshit, many players (judging by their ping) play from Saturn I think (please, give us ping-lock) plus her humming at this point is the most annoying piece of music I've heard in a long time. I hate listening to her humming, seriously.
(Plus Spirit, but she's bullshit on a whole another level)
-
I'm surprised to see so many Ghostface-traitors. To be honest, 100% of the time that I get friendly Ghostface, he's totally friendly.
-
To be honest all those people complaining are creating this cycle of sweaty players:
- If you complain as a survivor about sweaty campers/tunnelers - it means your MMR is sweaty high and it pairs you with sweaty killers
- If you complain as a killer about 'gen rushing' - it means also your MMR is sweaty high and the game pairs you with sweaty survivors
And both sides seem like they want to play sweaty, win everything, BUT never ever play against another sweaty player/team. Sorry, but if you climbed up so high with your MMR, it's kind of your fault.
-
Yeah, it's bugged. No big surprise.
-
No, I sincerely don't care. I play for fun, so I try fun perks, fun builds, even if they don't give me a 'win'.

I still stand by my statement because I think it’s ridiculous that survivors feel the need to send killers hateful messages over a video game.
Yeah we all get angry and frustrated on DBD but that doesn’t make it okay to send mean messages to your opponent. I literally can’t with people.
I know it's not nice, but LoL didn't change players in like what? 10 years? More? DBD won't change toxic players either. Just click 'continue' as soon as match ends.
-
So people can't complain that it doesn't work.
-
@Nathan13 said:
Why do survivors gotta be so mean? It’s just a game...
Okay, just to be clear - it's obviously not nice, BUT 'it's just a game' is the lamest argument ever. Because it's like 'game shouldn't get you angry', but it should give you joy? So it works both ways - if it can make you feel good emotions, it can make you feel bad as well. It can make you happy, it can make you angry. And some people just don't handle their emotions too well ;)
-
Killers - Pinhead & Pyramid Head, because they are my favorite characters from horrors.
Survivors - I guess Jeff, because I look like him so I feel the connection xD
-
Out of killers it's probably Pinhead or Pyramid Head. Those are my two favorite horror... characters, I don't really want to call them 'villains'.
As for the survivors I guess Jeff, because I look like him, so I feel the connection, lol.

Seriously was anyone using hoarder before pinhead? This is shaking things up. Would people rather go back to facing spirit, nurse, blight with ruin+undying+tinkerer?
I... think I don't understand your answer. I literally said that:
- Pinhead is weak and they don't need to nerf him or Lament Configuration
- Hoarder is strong with Pinhead and it's great
-
Geez Pinhead is weak enough, they seriously don't need to nerf him further. Hoarder is one of the ways to make Pinhead at least a bit usable.
-
He's quite weak. His chains are cool on paper, but are still weak.
Chain hunt is pretty cool, but too slow, too difficult to active and therefore - not oppressive enough.
But the biggest joke is still his main power:
- basically everything breaks chains - environment, other survivors, YOU (and that is PAINFULLY stupid)
- chains are still broken too fast
- difficulty vs benefit - chains don't give you anything when you're far and you can shoot your chain quite far, what for? You will not only NOT gain distance, you will lose it. In a chase it's not bad, but still feels too difficult to use in comparison to what it provides - Clown can have relatively same or at least similar effect much, MUCH easier, you need to hold M2, aim and let go, which doesn't even slow you (I think), as Pinhead you will stop moving, then you'll have to aim that chain and still wait till you switch back to your character
His power is cool, chains look cool, but still the biggest issue is how difficult it is to use it vs how much it gives you. Why bother aiming the chain when you can just spray Clown's LSD and have similar slowdown? They should either:
- Massively boost overall value of chains - make them more difficult to break, add 'yellow glyph skillchecks', like anything that would make them valuable enough - again it's difficult enough to use chains and they're not valuable enough 'reward'
- If chains will stay the same - make Impaling Wire and Engineer's Fang/Original Pain base kit - I feel like Impaling Wire should be base kit no matter what, Fang might be too much, but then again, it doesn't down survivors nor chain them so... and it's even easier to use Legion's power to injure survivor(s) than Pinhead's chain to SLOW, so maybe Fang wouldn't be that horrible? Exact same thing with original Pain
-
Camping and tunneling is annoying as hell, but it's a tactic. It's #########, but it's a tactic. It's frustrating, but... it's a tactic. And I'm saying this as a survivor main.
The only thing when I'll say something 'mean' about the killer when he's camping/tunneling is when they do this purely to ruin someone's fun. Like you know, youtuber/TTV who's doing that and giggling and is like 'oh, let's see how salty they'll be in the end game chat'. So yeah, if you do this purely to provoke people's salty reactions, you have room temperature IQ. In Celsius of course. If you're doing it because situation requires that tactic (for example it's end game collapse, you hook someone so maybe it's safer to camp them rather than trying to get another down, which might not work), you don't need to justify yourself.
As for keys... I don't even know if tunneling a key is a good way to deal with it. It's just better to pop Franklin's and you're done without a single drop of sweat. Because even if you kill the 'key bearer', someone else can still use it and... you're back to square one.

Nope nope and nope.
I said X things, but you gave them Y attributes.
Calling people hyper-casuals was not an insult. However, you certainly morphed it into one. "Like that's a sin." No, I never said that, and I never implied it. You just got super insecure about it, and projected.
Not playing CSGO was an example. Just like Street Fighter. The point there was that these toxic Survivors don't play ANY actual PvP game. Because when they do, they lose, and they can't do anything about it because the only path is to get better at it. But here in DBD, they can play a 4v1 game, as the 4.
And I don't even need to get into this over-explanation. All that I have to do is point out these statistical facts. Vast majority of the toxic Survivors don't play a single symmetrical PvP game. Make of that what you will.
As for your closer - none of that matters, unless you are indeed a toxic Survivor that talks ######### every time you win.
If you are, then hey, looks like I was wrong.
But if you're not, then you're not really proving anything there.
Well, again - 15 years of playing pure PvP game and few years of tournaments... I don't think I feel 'insecure' about it.
You just sounded like that was meant to be an insult that's why I commented on it.
And again again - I've seen toxic survivors (and toxic killers) play 'actual' PvP games. Generalization like that is pretty dangerous or rather inaccurate - I'm 100% sure you haven't seen EVERY toxic survivor's profile, hell, you haven't even seen most of them. Why? First of all number of players and second, some profiles are locked.
So yeah, saying that toxic survivors are like that because they don't play 'actual' PvP games? I don't know, feels like generalization. Especially that some of those 'actual' PvP games also have pretty bad communities. Type of game doesn't make you toxic - it's you who makes you toxic. If you are toxic you will be like that in DBD, CSGO, LoL and every other game.
I played almost every major online card game and for example in Hearthstone after winning game, some people will add you just to say pretty mean stuff. And I feel like this is 'actual' PvP game.
If anything I feel like it's other way around - casuals are usually just, well, casual, because they don't give a damn. When I played PUBG I had more fun from 'meme actions' than actual sweaty playing. Same in DBD. So... I don't think there's a clear relation between being casual/hypercasual player and being toxic.
-
You claim this community is the worst, and it's you who starts attacking people as a whole: survivros are hypercasuals (like that's a sin), they don't play CSGO (like that was some sort of a determine factor whether you're a good human being or 'true' gamer), they play with their friends.
There's no discussion here because you automatically assume that you're the good guy, the 'true gamer', but others are bad, they are those ######### casuals who ruin my game. There's no discussion because you want no discussion, you just want people to agree with you.
You add to the toxicity. It works both ways, not only survivor can be toxic.
Plus you won't change people who want to write 'ez' or something. Or call you names. LoL hasn't changed in like what 10 years? More? So DBD won't change either. Yeah, it sucks, yeah it's not fun, but that's how it is. Those who want to be toxic will be toxic no matter what.
Oh and one more thing - I came to this game purely for fun, yes, I play with friends mostly, yes I play casually, yes I don't give a ######### if I win or not. I'm rather casual, non competitive player. But here's your theory going to ######### - I have 2000h in PUBG, pretty PvP, isn't it? I was not the best player in the world, but I was doing alright. I play MTG for like 15 years, I played tournaments, so trust me, I don't need to play 4v1 to 'feel good about my gaming'.
-
In my opinion, BHVR should change the point system and grant something like 'distraction' points when you're being camped. Because well, you are 'distracting' the killer so 3 other people can leave, right?
Other thing is to remove soft cap of 8k per category. For example: survivor A 'never' sees the killer, does 4 gens, so give him much more points for that, survivor B gets chased for the entire game and can never even touch a gen, give him more points. And so on and so on. Of course keep the hard cap, total points you can get per match - if right now you can get 8k per category, remove the cap and allow someone to get for example 20k in one category, and of course in others you'd only be able to get 4k. Get 32k in one category and 0k in others. And so on and so on.
That, of course, doesn't resolve the 'problem' of camping and tunneling, but at least doesn't make you feel that you cannot play the game and gives you some 'purpose'.
But as for camping and tunneling itself, as someone who plays 99% of the time as a survivor, I'll say this - it's absolutely fine, IF it's really a tactical decision. If it's done for the sole purpose of ruining someone's fun, then... yeah, you kind of have room temperature IQ. In Celsius. Or for youtube video titled 'salty survivors get salty as I face camp them'. I only mention that, because recently I've had few situations where I (or teammate) got camped by a streamer (I won't say who ;)) and he was like 'ooooh, we'll see how salty they'll get after this'... To me that's really mentality of a ######### 10yo.
But if that's just normal, tactical decision... sorry to the author, but that is a tactic still. Might be cheap, but it's a tactic. Also like if someone can't get a kill without it, then why he shouldn't do it? Objective is to kill survivor(s), so... Yeah it's unfun, yeah it's frustrating, but well, in most cases killer is doing it because he's struggling, so you can comfort yourself with that thought, you gave him so much hell, that he has to camp you, he got scared and he camps to secure at least this one kill. And if it's one of those napkin IQ people... just move on, some people play games just to ruin others fun, even if they don't win, progress, but they get off if they make you mad so just don't give that to them.
-
I'm a survivor main (who will complain about camping and tunneling sometimes, so yeah, I do complain about stuff xD) but I sincerely DON'T think that NOED is a problem. It's a perk I can destroy during the game... where's the problem?
Problem is when all survivor wants to do is play 'time efficient' or 'optimal' - do gens, gens and nothing else, calculate each microsecond, don't care about totems, because that's a waste of time (like their favorite streamer probably told them) and then yeah - NOED becomes a problem to them. But, I think, objectively it's not a problem. Just engage in activities other than gens. I personally even like that there's another layer to it - do totems, or you might get screwed. It's fun, adds something to the gameplay.
-
Forever. Sadly in many games game will reward you if you have ping from Mars. And people abuse that like hell.
-
Same thing. Is The Game map turned off or what?
-
As a survivor main - I don't really think NOED is overpowered. Like... if I face it too often, I put on Counterforce and that's it, I removed killer's perk. If NOED was NOT a hex perk - hell yes, that would've been OP as f..., but as a hex? You can remove it before it has a chance to do something.
Sure it feels frustrating when you get hit by it, of course, because if during the match killer cannot hit you twice and struggles to catch you, it feels bit... 'bad' that now he gets to do it so easily. But again - totems.
I feel most of the frustration comes form people who try to play 'time efficient' or 'optimal', or, let's just say it - sweat the gens and get out quickly. No second objective is a 'problem' too, because, again, some people only care about holding M1 on gens and that's it.
So, as a survivor main, oh irony - I think NOED is fine.
-
If they cared, there shouldn't be a need for a petition.
-
Hitboxes are (mostly) fine. But BHVR needs to finally add second potato to their servers.
But seriously - adding more skins won't fix your game.

Man, I had never thought of this idea but this could really solve various balance issues between solo and SWF mode if you add voice chat also in SoloQ.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but... yeah, I honestly don't know why devs don't want to add that, add... why they didn't implement that from day 1. It's a weird, very weird design choice, but well.
-
Worst idea I've ever head. I hope you're trolling.
- I don't want to join any discord server (and anything like that) to find people to play with
- I hate playing as killer
- Sometimes I play with only 1 friend, but most of the time I play solo
You know what's the simpler solution? In game voice chat, pretty much SFW only mode, but doable and sane, without removing 50% of the player base.

Not really, reshades can give you and advantage. For example Tarkov banned reshade, because it was possible to create settings that would make game brighter and you wouldn't have to use NVG or characters' models would be much easier to see. I don't know if those settings are doing it or not, but I don't think reshades should be allowed in multiplayer game, for that very reason.

- The list of demands is fulfilled.
- I'm banned from this forums by giving BHVR reasonable feedback. The reason I didn't post this in the Feedback section is because I want people to discuss how old Billy was compared to current Billy.
I have a weird feeling I know which one is more possible.

Jubilee Street by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
-
Nemesis. If they use Village character it'd be like using Boogeyman instead of Pyramid Head - yeah, sure, Boogeyman is a character, but who even knows him? Hardcore fans. Nemesis & Pyramid Head are just too iconic to NOT use them. Unless they can't, that's a different story.
-
Like this is new. Desync and hitboxes are worse than chat in DBD and LoL combined.
-
Pinhead. All I care for.

I don't care too much about visual aspect of new killers. I only want them to have new, unique abilities instead of using same concept with some tweaks.

Kind of bad as gathering all PC players into one group?

PC players are the problem? Funniest thing I've ever read.
And meantime console players are crouching in corners, hiding in every locker for days, not doing gens, not being able to last a chase for longer than 10 seconds...
Turn the crossplay off. I did, I wait a bit longer, but at least I don't have to deal with console crouchers.

He has 3 survivors in front of him, and knows the one on hook is closest to dying. That's not toxic. That's one unfortunate person on hook, and two idiots who gave the killer a free kill.
Oh wait, sorry, I forgot the Survivor Rules Handbook - the killer should walk to the other end of the map and stare at the wall when he hooks someone.
Again the killer wasn't being toxic, the survivors were just being stupid, case closed.
Yeah, it's better to avoid two survivors who block and maybe blind you. It's obviously better to try to get to the person who's getting further and further away, it would be so unreasonable to hit one of those two (or even one) people who are basically rubbing their butts against that killer's weapon.
So don't put words in my mouth and ideas that aren't mine. Don't twist what I said. If killer can have a clean hit when I'm being unhooked, cool, stupid teammates. If killer chases 'me' for a minute, having another survivor in front of him, constantly blocking him and he refuses to hit him for so long, he is the one being stupid and toxic. Case closed.
@CrescentGent said:
Stop trying to ruin stuff for the killers. One of the reasons why it takes survivors so long to find a game is because it's trying to find a killer around your rank, it shouldn't take this long and it's because there aren't many killer players anymore. At least not as many as survivors.
Survivors should get penalised for gen rushing if you suggest such a dumbass idea.
I think author suggested less points for hooking same person twice (or more) in a row. Which isn't that bad idea, considering face campers for example. And survivors already get penalized - by being tunneled for few minutes straight. Yesterday once I and once my friend got tunneled for so long that team managed to do gens and open both gates. And what did we get for that? 'Moral' points and satisfaction? My suggestion is this - I can get camped, tunneled so much that I won't even touch a gen or any survivor, totem, anything, I will be found and chased for the whole game. Fine. BUT give me more points for it. I will hit 8k fast and that's it, give me enough points to have at the end equivalent amount to a 'typical' survivor game and I'm happy and won't complain about tunneling or getting camped. Because my point in this argument is that I WANT to play the game, but I simply can't. And I think it's fair; if someone takes killer's attention for the whole game, why shouldn't that person get some special reward? Hell, lets even give killer bonus points for going after his obsession, even few times in a row, it's obsession, right? And I'm being serious, I wouldn't feel like I had great chase, but wasn't able to rank up, because killer didn't let me go and if killer likes to camp and tunnel, he can have his fun with obsession.

If you get downed immediately off hook, then your team performed an unsafe save, and it's only their fault. Camping, is a legitimate strategy by killer. I mean most times where I am hitting someone off hook is because the rest of their team is not doing gens, they came for the save too quickly, or they went for the save as I was coming back around my patrol path. With my Freddy build I optimize unhooks with Make Your Choice - effectively keeping 1 person on hook since the first time I have someone on hook. However by the end of it - the Killer is always, and should always go for the best option target, and coming off hook. That's you. So stop blaming the killer for the mistakes made by the other survivors or yourself. Once you stop incorrectly blaming the killer then you will in time get better at the game and it won't be an issue for you at all. Like it isn't for me.
Now i'm moving on from this conversation because we are literally just going around ourselves, and i'm repeating all that I've already told you.
Yeah, well, I still think if one-two survivors are blocking the killer and he refuses to hit them he's the one who's toxic. And if he eventually hits one of them and still goes after me, once I'm much further away, than the person he's just hit, he's double toxic and stupid. Best option? Alright, but I think I'm not best option if I'm being blocked/protected and he has to put more effort to maneuver around other survivors rather than hit one and switch target.
But hey, I admit, I'm not good at this game. Plus I don't like toxicity, I prefer having fun than sweat and tryhard (in game without rewards especially) and I hate trash-talking after the game so... yeah, I'll just go back to other games, thanks for your answers.

You seem to forget that you're not supposed to be able to loop the killer for the entire match. You run from him for as long as you can, and either try to lose him, or force him to lose interest in you. I literally can't sum up learning 13 realms, and 33 maps into a single post other than to just say "git gud".
That's also saying that it's not the killer's fault if another survivor goes and performs an unsafe save, meaning - yes you are going to get punished for the other survivors mistake and it's not the Killer's fault for that. It's the survivors, so stop blaming the Killer for playing right, and start blaming the other survivors for being bad.
However even in most cases where I was saved unsafely, I still used my Dead Hard, or took a direction that forced my way out of a killer's attack off hook, and then into a nearby loop where I take his attention for 3 or more minutes, and then either lose him by hiding, or they realize they won't get me and give up chase. Yes sometimes they refuse to stop chasing me, at this point it's tunneling because they ignoring better objectives. The rest of the survivors finish the gen's and I die with at least a black pip for getting max chase points, and any other points I accumulated up to that point.
Btw your whole "second scenario" you literally just described how the killer lost by camping. 3 people escaping is a win for the one person who died by dev's standards, and everyone who survived is a win because they survived. The Killer lost for not securing 2 kills. If this is what you're talking about tunneling, and camping, then you need to learn a lot more about the game than just map layouts and loops, and in the meantime work on being less toxic until you do.
OMG... no I don't forget that, I wrote that in first message, remember? 'Eventually will get me'? And your interpretation of that was 'reason you wrote that is because you get downed quickly'.
Well, yes, I blame idiots in my team just as much, if they're doing unsafe unhooking, sure. But if killer is standing there, basically checking dilation of my pupils, I blame him much than I blame my team. They're trying to give me an option to play. Have you ever seen some videos on youtube, where killer maneuvers to hit the person who's performing the unhook? Well, for me it's usually other way around; they do everything to get the rescued person. And when I was playing killer, I was also going for the one who was unhooking. I think it rather works; saved person is healing, so one person is off, rescuer gets chased, so another person is not doing gens.
True, sometimes you're in a situation where you have time to react and start actual chase, often enough (for me) I get downed before the game is able to read that I'm trying to move. And so often I get 8k for chases, and close to 0 in other categories, because I'm not even able to touch a gen, because killer is blind on other survivors. But I guess that's actually complainant for devs, to give some more points. And I think it's fair, if me (or anyone else) being chased for 95% of the game makes other survivors do the gens and gates... I think I should get some extra points, right?
That last scenario was just one, special case. I wrote that SOMEHOW once we were able to do something. And for f... sake, what's the point of putting magic 'toxic' word in there? Where did I wrote that I'm toxic? Especially in that second scenario. Because I was able to save a survivor? Unless for you stun and blind equals toxic behavior? Because well, if you think tunneling and camping is a 'strategy', or punishing bad behavior, then so are pallets and flashlights. Killer has weapon(s) to kill, I have environment and flashlights to run, what's toxic in that? I don't teabag, flashlight click, write anything toxic (like 'ez') on chat after the game or anything else. Even with toxic killer (yes, face camping is toxic) after the game I just leave and don't get engaged in chat, where they might try to annoy me with their 'ez' trash talking. So, again, please don't play Nostradamus or Sherlock Holmes.

I don't think 'thinking' is the right word when it comes to most of decisions.

I recommend different game. Seriously, not a trolly answer. You will save yourself a lot of nerves. Get a game that doesn't combine the worst of PUBG (number of bugs goes beyond imagination, designers develop new features in 5min without thinking or testing, devs... well, look at bugs and matchmaking that should tell you) and LoL (toxic as f... very toxic community).

Learn the loops, and map layouts. The moment you said "downs me eventually and hooks again" then I know you're not playing right. Because the only reason you would say that line; You get downed very quickly, because you don't know the loops, and expect holding 'W' or ^ on your controller is gonna save you long enough for your team to get a gen.
If you are doing chases right as a survivor than you can easily make a single chase 4-5 minutes long.
Don't play Nostradamus or Sherlock Holmes, it ain't working for you too well. You don't know me and you don't know how I play. I don't hold 'W', I'm looping, mind gaming, using flashlight etc. Am I good? Most likely no, but I can hold it for 3-4 minutes.
And now, lets get back to my question, read it again and then answer. Or let my simplify it, if I can:
- killer camps my hook
- I get unhooked (obviously I'm injured at that point)
- killer immediately rushes after me
- teammates try blocking, protecting me, but killer maneuvers around them, only focuses on my person
- gen might pop, maybe more, but killer doesn't give a damn at this point, he just wants to kill me at any cost
My question is in that situation, what am I supposed to do? Turn on a speed hack? Because (yes, I will use that word again, don't read too much to it) eventually I will get knocked down again. Maybe some real top tier players can run forever and will never get downed and will get out of every situation, but I won't, especially I won't escape face camping tunneller.
Another situation, two days ago. I'm playing with a friend, vs wraith. Total face camper (like 99% wraiths I meet, I'm rank 5, if that matters), hooks my friend, moves away. Or at least we think so, because in reality, he was right behind the corner, invisible. So BT didn't work, wraith maneuvered around me just to attack the unhooked person at any cost. He downed my friend, got DSed, but was after him anyway. Second hook, then same situation, camping around the corner. This time though somehow I was able to stun him, blind him, get him on me and make him lose us both (in the end 3 people escaped).
But my point is, if killer is camping, just waiting to tunnel the unhooked person, not even giving them time to react, then saying to a survivor 'git gud' is rather... inadequate to the situation.

Tunneling Is: Consistently chasing 1 survivor even against better options.
Tunneling Is Not: Chasing the same survivor off hook because they are the better option to chase.
Sorry no Killer in the world is going to chase the fully healed Survivor darting off into a nearby god loop, while you go hide behind a tree in the middle of no where to self care. The killer's going to get you - the better option, and you need to learn to play better.
Sorry, let me know if I got this right. I got hooked, killer is walking around the hook, I guess we can just say camping, I get unhooked, even with BT, teammates are running around to block and protect me, killer ignores them completely, avoids them just to get me, downs me eventually and hooks again. And situation repeats. And I am the one who needs to play better? Then tell me how, I'd love to get better.
