Dance with me as only potential when in synergy with Quick&Quiet and Lithe. Alone it's useless.
Boil Over is useless.
Windows of Opportunity saved my survivor ass more time than i could count, especially because i'm solo and that i'm usually not the first getting chased it's really good to know where to go that is somewhat safe. It's the only one that have potential use alone but is even better in synergy with Any Means Necessary the Yui perj that allows you to put pallet back up.
I'm a red rank survivor btw so no WoO isn't only for new players. It actually help me a lot on new map such a new lery's ;)
Ohh im thinking about running WoO as well, im tired of running to an area that i swore was safe just for the pallet to already be used and destroyed.
Whats the current build you've been running?

Yeah, I find Kindred + Better Together to often be all the aura revealing information a solo player needs.
Detectives Hunch might be worth it here to prevent 3 gens and noed especially. What do you think?

Yeah just those 3 alone is a great build that gives a lot of powerful information to you at all times, and the relevant information to your teammates when it’s critical to you. I’ll sometimes just chuck on something like Leader instead of LB just so I can be unhooked and healed faster.
Ive really liked Leader its helped me alot. But i cant seem to get any use out of left behind, i havent had it come in to save me, YET. I have liked using better together tho. Seems like team mates come to me to heal alot.

I would recommend Ready To Roll above Bouncer Beard, personally. Most of the Bouncer Beard head is shaved, and light skin is easy to see. Having different colours doesn't mean that an outfit won't be able to camouflage - remember that the environment you're trying to blend into has different colours as well. Think about camouflage print in real life, like the army wears. The way to blend in is to cover your body as much as possible in the colours of the environment you're trying to blend into, which is why I recommended dark brown, grey or green outfits, because there's a lot more of those colours in the DBD environments than there are dark reds or purples.
So you're thinking I should go with Black/maroon, charcoal jeans, and rust/green hat or no hat then? Currently for the head peice im using Sharp Ace

Babysitter is extremely weak and you would be better off with Borrowed Time because it prevents survivors from going down better.
Babysitter would need to give the unhooked survivor aura reading on the killer, no scratch marks, no grunts of pain, and no blood trails until the savior gets their safe hook rescue.
It would be 5/10/15 seconds, with 15 seconds being enough time to give you the safe unhook score event. 😁
I just read that you said this after I made my comment, we literally had identical ideas. lol
-
@MrPeterPFL said:
I like the idea of giving the hooked survivor a speed boost, it’s a nice tweak.
I like that too, like a short adrenaline speed boost. And i think the base effect should be raised instead of 8 seconds make it 10 or 12 and my other idea is during this duration they also have a built in iron will, because blood and scratchmarks wont matter if they are moaning like a porn actor. Another idea is have the person you unhook briefly see the killer too (like deliverance) so the person unhooked knows where not to go.
-
@FireHazard I was actually thinking of Furtuitous Jeans (Dark Brown) as its closer to that reddish color. What are your thoughts on it?
Ok so Bouncer beard is better then Ready to Roll? Just wanna be absolutely sure so i dont waste my iri shards lol
-
@FireHazard ok one last thing, Im thinking the dark red hat would be best for the hat to go with the high roller - money maker jacket, since its closer to color to said jacket. What do you think?
Same for the pants, im thinking dark red, let me know what you think. Itll be more uniform in color so it should do pretty well.

Ruin doesn't synergize with Thrilling Tremors, the regression stops for the block's duration.
Still kicks them off gens and procs ruin afterwards tho. So still good for kicking them off gens, and starting a chase and having it regress while in chase, and those 16 seconds of gens being blocked can be the difference between a gen popping or not. It can give u the time u need to reach the surv working on a gen and start a chase so a gen regresses. I just saw peanits reply on that thread, such a shame that this doesnt combo but it doesnt change how effective this build is, it just lowers the combo potential.

I have one for both and I highly recommend both.
Spirit -
Haunted Ground: most people dont want to cleanse against spirit if they are smart, if they cleanse they get one hit, this creates great pressure for you to get a down or two quickly, it also helps to protect the next perk..
Devour Hope: Now this is evil, it has extra defense being that you have haunted ground and if they see you are spirit and know you have a totem most people assume its haunted ground, by the time devour hope allows u to insta down, its too late for them, alot of the time they cleanse haunted first bc they have a 2/3 chance of it being haunted. These 2 perks are especially evil on spirit for these reasons specifically.
Barbecue and Chili: Could also use thrilling tremors here if you like, this allows u to have alot more bp and map awareness to help you use your next perk..
Pop Goes The Weasel: This pairs nicely with bbq and allows you to slow the game down and by the time they get through all your totems of death, you wont need any perks besides pop and bbq to destroy with Spirit.
Addons: I like haunting movement speed and charge speed personally.
Doctor -
Thrilling Tremor: BBQ cant replace this perk in this build, heres why, after you down someone use your static blast to immediately kick anyone around you off the gens then immediately pick up the downed survivor so it blocks off all gens they were working on, this combos with..
Ruin: When you get a good spawn this combo is deadly, once you push them off the gens with static blast and block it with tremors, then gens immediately regress making it a pain to do gens with ruin up as well as being able to use..
Surveillance: This allows you to know exactly which gens are being worked on when they are forced to get off or get back on, and if ruin gets cleansed its still a nice perk to help u keep tabs on gens.
Distressing: This directly buffs his static blast, allowing him to hit more gens to get them off the gens for them to be blocked and regressed.
Addons: I recomend the addons that lower your TR and raises it when static blast is ready meaning, your static blast will have even MORE range. Its called calm I think.

The High Roller outfit is actually better than the Aces and Eights (Charcoal Version) tbh, the deep purple really makes it easy to blend in with most backgrounds, since that shade of purple is quite dark and hard to see sometimes.
Both work though for a stealth approach to Ace, or in this case an "immersed" approach.
Oh im seeing this it would be quite good once in game. Well what about his hat or his pants? bc the pants are dark black on that outfit and his head is just slicked back on that outfit.
Thanks for the response! @FireHazard

If i forego Open Handed, then it’s BOTH Left Behind and Wake Up. That way I have a Plan B and a Plan C.
Bruh ever since asking you about ur surv build a month or so ago Ive been addicted to bond/kindred/open handed (it makes bond and kindred soooooo freaking good). I dont think Id have the heart to remove it lol Im in red ranks and I still prefer and do best with this build over the boring meta. Im able to know almost at all times where the team is, if i need healed its so easy to find someone, and kindred shows everyone exactly where the killer goes to keep everyone safe if im hooked or I know to work on a gen if someone else is hooked.
I guess ill try left behind, I actually havent used it much but who knows I might get some use out of it.

I love doing Open Handed + Bond + Kindred + Left Behind so I can help, and be helped as much as possible during a match, but if it all hits the fan then the hatch shows within 40m
Im surprised you dont use something like Wake up or spine chill instead of left behind, because usually the killer slugs the 4th if it comes down to it, and opening the exit gate fast and letting your team know where you are comes in clutch sometimes. Or spine chill for when the killer is heading your way.
-
Ohh I quite like this idea alot.

@ZoneDymo said:
Sure, any killer thats ok with chasing survivors of gens will do well with Ruin.
Billy, Nurse, Hag, Demogorgon, Spirit, Doctor, FREDDY, Myers/Ghostface, a LOT of killers can make good use of new ruin.
Plague (puking on gen)
I had a doctor about a hour or two ago made really great use with ruin and distressing. Pretty scary actually lol
-
@I_Face_Camp said:
Yes alot of complaints about the new ruin but I actually dont think its too bad with good map pressure. Especially while using Sloppy Butcher. Either they heal and then gens regress or they are 1 hit
Ohhh thats a good idea actually, never thought of that, sloppy would be a direct combo with ruin. Takes them longer to heal, more gen regression. But i dont think sloppy would be too good on billy would it?
@Stitch7833 said:
depends on if the totem stays up, its not that the perk is bad but more due to the fact its a hex which can disappear easily and quickly in alot of matches. the biggest issue people have with the new ruin is how little it helps at game start, due to some huge maps it can be hard to pressure all gens early on
Well thats why I mention Billy. Because, he can check gens quite fast.

There is multiple ways spirit fury works, it can beat low skill players that love to stun him (for some reason) and high skill players that get greedy or another loop. Assuming you have a very optimal team, your spirit fury will proc like once or twice but then they drop pallets early. Making them create more dead zones and if they don't heal (which is likely the case) they become a 1 shot down with also a bunch of pallets wasted.
Once again i'm personally not a fan of monitor at all, but that's just me and I've seen people say it works for them.
In all honesty i'm against add ons, I just don't see the use in them not saying their completely useless but they don't have a big enough effect on FF for me to use them. If i were to use them though i would run blades, fatigue reduction and recharge. Hope this helps :)
Oh thank you very much for the response, sorry if my replies are short, this site on mobile makes it so hard to type for some reason.
Anyways have you tried blood echo on Legion yet? Its super good keeping people almost always exhausted.
Ok you have convinced me against moniter, I didnt think of it that way, it does give them a early warning to run during frenzy.
So you use brutal over spirits fury? Why is that, to my understanding brutal barely increases pallet breaking time at least from what ive seen in comparisons videos.
I understand the enduring tho, it has good power synergy bc you can just take a stun faster then frenzy heart attack lol
Im the same, i want to use no addons so i can learn the killer and stock up on addons so if i want to tryhard ill bring out addons.
Im in agreement tho, never gonna take off thana on him, so easy to keep people injured.

IMO his best build for newer players is: Thana, enduring, pop and BBQ
Once you learn how to track without BBQ his best build is: Thana, enduring, pop and spirit fury. I usually trade SF for brutal strength as it is nutty AF.
I've mained Legion since release and this is what works for me, of course try other suggestions out and see what feels comfortable and viable for you. There is a few things id consider though:
- Monitor and abuse gives people you are frenzying towards an earlier warning so they might start running making you not get the hit
- Its very useful to have at least one chase perk, even if it is something like blood echo
- Never take thanatophobia Off your builds, like, ever. Of course unless you want to im just saying its easily his best perk
Of course this is o p i n i o n and you should see what works for yourself :D
That would also be a good build for getting bp as Legion.
Ive always wondered how spirits fury and enduring was on Legion, since everyone lovvves stunning him out of his power for some reason lol. How is it? Hows your games usually go? I just recently p3d legion, and my plan was to use Thana, blood echo, pop, monitor on him. You rely on any addons on your build? Let me know!
Dang since release? Impressive.

They didn't say they plan to nerf Thana, Dying Light, or Pop. That was in response to the idea of increasing Gen speeds, because if you use a build of only gen regression perks, and a generator already takes 120 seconds to repair then that makes for a very slow, very boring game.
Don't just pick a sentence out of one of their answers, and then spread it like fact like a lie.
At the same time, they plan on updating the large maps to be more in Killer's favor, which is the main problem with gen speed. It isn't the how quick you can repair a gen, but rather how fast the killer has a chance to find you.
Ok thanks I didnt see your comment before i posted my last. Glad to know OP wasnt being entirely truthful, my weak baby thana is safe.

Ok I'll give you two builds I like on wraith and briefly explain it.
Build 1:
Haunted Ground (no one expects this on wraith and as fast as he can get around the map, hes able to find people fast. This adds lethality and a snowball to wraith.
Surge: Hes a M1 killer, so why not? Plus this combos well with thrilling tremors.
Thrilling tremors: (or bbq) this allows you to see the gens people are working on and b line there after u hook someone so that you can use..
Pop Goes the Weasel: Just an amazing perk.
Build 2:
Haunted Ground
Pop
Bamboozle to help him in chase by shutting down some loop but if you are really good with mind games you can use bbq as bbq is really good on wraith because of his movement speed.
Discordance: This helps you find people who are stacking on gens so you can run them off of it and initiate chase. Also can use sloppy butcher here as it helps wasting peoples time with healing.

Im pretty concerned about this change (I may have overreacted in other threads in the lst day) because I find most top tiers dull to play and it seems like mid/low tiers will be hit the hardest by this. But I'll probably stick enduring on for spirit fury or maybe bring bamboozle back. It can be a real lifesaver against a good survivor on the shack or the main building on certain maps.
As a whole this thread has made me want to branch out more often. Maybe dying light with stbfl to replace ruin.
Oh so you are thinking of taking out spirits fury?
Oh yeah dude michael is one of the most flexible killers you can build him in just about anyway and it would be fun and viable

l admit to being kind of weird with my myers gameplay even though hes my og boi.
My personal build as of late is ruin (if im in the red ranks, getting level 2 late can be devastaing), spirit fury, furtive and stbfl. After resets I tend to add enduring in place pf ruin just to become truly unstoppable.
I tend to save my ew3 exclusively for the obsession to conserve those sweet stacks but a good team can sometimes force me to drop it early. Used to use bamboozle until I found out about Miles naturally faster vaults even in level 2.
If you're not concerned about pallets im all ears is also a lot of fun with furtive. If you're running furtive and lnow how to hide your red stain at LOS breaking loops this combo is devastating.
Its not a flawess build but it can he quit fun.
Sounds like fun and definitely not something i see people run often. What are you going to change when the ruin changes go live?

Well Iron Will helps a lot during chases and in many other circumstances. So it has a great value. With Iron Will killers might lose track of you, giving you a chance to sneak away from a chase. So for me the best build for my playstyle is Self-Care, Botany, Resilience and Iron Will. That's why i don't self-care all the time. Resilience is great to genrush, so if i get injuried and i escape, i go immediately to a generator to take advantage of that 9% more repairing speed. If the killer is a sneaky one, with no terror radious (like Ghostface, The Pig or The Wraith), then i heal myself (or ask to a teammate to be healed), because they patrol gens to find survivors and can catch you out of guard with a free hit.
Btw, don't listen to killers who says they are very happy if you heal, because you're making their life easier. LOL. Dead By Daylight is totally survivor sided. Every person who run a decent killer knows that, and healthy survivors are actually a pain. Everytime you escape from a chase and you have the chance to heal, it's a hook denial for the killer, and that's basically what survivors have to do: do gens and press shift+w.
If you wanna be a better survivor, definitely play killer, so you can discover all their weaknesses.
Thanks for the response mate! I figured you 99% the self care heal to make the most out of resilience honestly, great idea with iron will! Thanks for the detailed response ill defintely try it out!

That's absolutely nonesense. I don't use 3 perks to counter one, i just use these because they are extremely useful for me. Botany is great to fast heal not only myself but most important my teammates, and Resilience is also great to genrush. As i said in my post, self-caring anytime is a waste of precious time, self-caring with brain is perfect. I don't use any other meta perk like DS or other exhaustion perk like DH or blah blah blah... i don't need that stuff when i can survive doing a bit of looping, help healing my teammates faster etc. etc. I don't feel i'm wasting any perk slot. These are the only one i need. I'm rank 1 with more than 1700 hours, and never took SC off my builds, and i will never take it off, i don't care what "hardcore" gamers says.
Whats your 4th perk you usually run with those? Thanks for your time! Im just trying things out!

I have been a constant self care user since 2017. I don't want to be running around being a one shot target, and I don't want to waste time finding a team mate who then has to stop what they are doing to heal me. I like to be able to see to my own healing needs and not pull my team off their objectives if I can help it.
I also don't use self care at the expense of my team. For example if someone is hooked, and I know that nobody else can go for the save then I will go in injured rather than waste time healing before going in.
Hey Mr Dwight, what perks do you usually run other then self care on your build? Im getting tired of randoms running away and not healing me xD
-
@BloodyNights said:
I run self care, and botony quite often. I find myself getting hit a lot during matches and escaping, or I just got hit trying to body block someone getting carried to the basement, or perhaps I took a hit so the killer might be incentivized to go after me instead of tunneling person X.
With botany it's basically healing at 83% so not much slower than getting healed by someone else. Also healing others 33% faster is very useful. Lots of clutch moments where I just managed to finish the heal right when the killer was coming back, both when healing after an unhook, and on a slug. Without Botany they would have had probably have went down again, or not gotten picked up off the ground in time.
Sometimes I rely on medkits, or try inner strength. Inner Strength is really good, but sucks when more than one person runs it in most cases. You might get one use out of it, maybe two if your lucky. The reason I like Self Care is far too often I run out of medkits or totems, and have to rely on teammates. Or I could bring my self care and botony, and save my item slot for other things like...toolboxes mostly. And I can say go save them instead of healing me, I can just heal myself.
I however...do not run Self Care without Botany 9 times out of 10. It's far too slow. I'd rather just bring a med kit at that point and risk not being able to heal myself at a later point.
I coulda swore nothing speeds up self care healing though. What perk build do you usually run with self care and botany?
-
Overrated: Ironically enough to me its Dead Hard even though i use this perk myself lol Killers can easily wait out the dead hard thats what i usually do but its good dont get me wrong.
Underrated: Open handed, this is super good with bond or kindred.
@thesuicidefox said:
STBFL is overrated. You recover faster from a hit which can be nice, but it's only going to make a difference in a chase once you get 6 or more tokens. And the fact you have to outright refuse to hit the obsession makes it worse.
Prove Thyself is overrated. With 2 survivors on a gen, no other buffs/debuffs, you save 4 seconds. That's it. All it does is cancel out the very minor debuff you get when you work on a gen with another survivor.
Thanatophobia is very underrated. It only started to become more popular after TrueTalent started using it in his GF and now Wraith builds. But I've been proclaiming the effectiveness of Sloppy/Thana combo for a long time now. Over a year at least. Before the devs updated Thana. It's just really really strong, especially on killers where you can spread damage quickly. I use this combo on Spirit instead of Ruin and it is IMO way better than Ruin, though requires you to actually do stuff before it takes effect.
Spine Chill is underrated. This perk gives you so much information it's crazy. It hard counters pretty much every stealth killer. It helps you to juke Nurse and Spirit. It can tell you when a killer has certain aura perks/add-ons. It let's you know if the killer is headed to the gen you are on or just walking around. It's so useful in almost every situation and it's very difficult to play around as killer.
Oh mind if I also ask you too for your survivor build as well? Just like asking people for their builds lol
-
What perks you usually run with it? Yeah i love we'll make it. Especially when those folks unhook me.
-
@Yamaoka said:
You never learn, do you - LordGlint? You, as a killer, are supposed to provide cookies and milk for survivors while they're working on gens. Do you have any idea how exhausting it is to work on generators while you're looking? You're making these poor souls nervous! No wonder they bailed on you and yeeted out of the game via the hatch!
As for the new Nemesis build I knew it was gonna be a thing when I first saw what the perk does which is why I saved up 1MIO bloodpoints before the update. Started running the build the minute it was released.
I kinda feel invincible now. I call it the "paintrain build". First time I got my tokens I was like "CHOO CHOO MOFOS HERE I COME!!!". Incredible how one perk can turn a mediocre killer into a force of nature. PWYF has always been self explanatory for Bubba but combined with Nemesis it's making him basically a chainsaw god.
What is your current Bubba build that you destroy with xD? Assuming pwyf and nemesis of course.

I'm still using the same build. Dying light is pretty alright, even better than Thanat in some situations, but the drawback of losing everything by killing your obsession has made the perk kind of useless during midgame. Besides that, not much has changed! :D

I always run iron will and spine chill because they are great against all killers. So after I get injured I usually run in circles to make scratch marks really messy. Then I I slowly vault a window or try to hide behind a tall object. It works 90% of the time even if the spirit has Stridor.
Also I listen for her footsteps to know if it is safe to say hidden or go to the nearest pallet
What other perks u run with iron will and spine chill if you dont mind me asking;) i love trying builds ha

Basic gist: make it difficult for injured survivors to heal, effectively keeping them in a one hit state.
Yes it requires aggressive play (such as slugging if another survivor is immediately spotted. Coulrophobia + Distressing will make reviving a downed teammate hard) and it requires impeccable tracking skills (hence Bloodhound if needing assistance).
Clown requires “steam train” style play. If Clown loses momentum and survivors become “immersed” he tends to suffer immensely.
As for personally how my games go like this? Funnily enough lots of stall and slow down. Why? The desperation for survivors to get themselves healed. Which either means putting up with the debuffs, or constantly trying to move out of my TR before healing.
Just giving an update on how your build has been going for me, this build is crazy good and fun. You can snowball like crazy with this build and I dont even have the perks max level in it. I was skeptical at first but holy crap this build is good.

You NEED Brutal Strength. It's not even a question: people will drop pallets like crazy against Clown. The entire point of his power is to slow down a loop and force the Survivors to drop the pallet. Since his bottles don't make vaulting pallets slower you can't use them to get a hit at a pallet, so you're going to have to break them as fast as possible and move on to the next.
Other than that you want perks to start chases fast. Clown can end chases well with his power but he sucks at finding Survivors. Perks like Whispers and BBQ are both great at this, but one perk that's actually remarkably good on Clown is Monitor and Abuse. The lower terror radius really lets you get the jump on Survivors, and the higher FoV lets you see them if they try to sneak away, which allows you to counter stealth better.
Clown also has very poor map pressure. Perks that offer passive map pressure are great. Ruin goes without saying, and Corrupt is actually not terrible since Clown doesn't want to spend too long travelling around the map. Dying Light is actually pretty swell on him too though you should only use this if you can reliably chain downs on Clown. Huntress' Lullaby isn't godawful? But it's not great. Pop Goes is a little hard to use on Clown due to his poor map pressure.
I personally find Save the Best for Last to be somewhat overrated on Clown. The problem with STB4L on Clown is that most people expect it, and as a result the Obsession is liable to play aggressively. Clown is not a Killer like Doctor who can reliably ignore the Obsession, and unlike Pig / Demogorgon / Ghostface / Myers / Leatherbilly he doesn't have any way to reduce the number of hits on the Obsession. It's a great perk but I still like having a perk slot for something more reliable.
My personal perk build for Clown is Brutal Strength, Whispers, Ruin, and a perk of choice. Generally BBQ for le BP, but like I said M&A is really nice on Clown and I've got a lot of success with it. Fire Up is actually remarkably good in combination with Brutal.

As for addons: https://old.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/azgfde/clown_addons_tier_list/
Dang thanks for the really good breakdown on the clown and his perks!
You might have convinced me not to run stbfl! Whispers definetly would help with tracking and with map pressure. Oh yeah I've heard that moniter and fire up are good on him. Which do you prefer when not running bbq of course? Im guessing moniter hehe

Personally I have the most success running anti-heal builds because I want to keep injured survivors injured for as often as possible.
- Distressing
- Coulrophobia
- Sulphuric Vial, or Sloppy Butcher If I’ve run out of vials.
- Then either Thana, Bloodhound, or Nurses, with either a pallet perk or Bamboozle.
Thats a very interesting build! You have to be very aggressive with it I'd say!
So distressing to maximize Coulrophobia's usefulness, Sulphuric vial (or sloppy if no vials) also but in the same slot thana, bloodhound, or nurses (im getting too many choices im a built overwhelmed on this one, then brutal strength as the final perk right?
Tell me how the games go if you dont mind this sounds fun.

Regardless of chosen perks, it’s imperative to keep in mind with Clown how important it is to maintain chase momentum and being able to quickly start new chases after ending another.
So:
- make sure you think of the bottles as traps, and use them accordingly. Don’t throw bottles AT survivors, throw them AHEAD of survivors or where you think they’re going or DON’T want them to go.
- basically you either want survivors to stupidly run through the FULLY EXPANDED gas cloud, or encourage them to avoid it entirely (thus discouraging them from going somewhere you know is safe for them).
- learn Bottle management. You shouldn’t be using up all bottles in one chase very often. Know when to reload, and when to use the reload function as a mindgame tool. I’ve gotten so many grabs from fake reloading it’s not even funny.
- when you feel pretty good about the above things, THEN try to learn direct bottle hit accuracy. Once you get good at this, like Doc you can interrupt or prevent survivor actions very briefly, which can totally turn the tables at a pallet, hook, or exit gate switch.
Yeah like aim high so it spreads the gas as much as possible. Or aim behind survs when they drop a pallet.
What perks do you reccomend mr Dude?

Thanka for all the input everybody, so far im thinking ill be using bbq (for bp but maybe bamboozle or pop when im not worried about bp) ruin, stbfl, and brutal strength seem to all have good synergy with his power.
