Checking on this thread every now and then. A bit side noted but is this the largest thread this forum has ever had? Maybe it could mean something to BHVR.
I'm just worried that the game is gonna run worse when the RE chapter drops.

you would think but we have yet to get a response from a dev. My only hope is they're at least reading the complaints and understanding our frustration but one comment from them would help.

That seems to be a bug that's related to the Alchemist Ring addon from Blight.
Had that happen to me aswell when i used it
I don't play blight so I don't understand what happened.
-
DBD of course, super mario galaxy, among us, and NHL.
-
Yes that should've been a hit but you didn't have to DC.
-
Yeah it sucks that survivors can open hatch when the killer found it first.

Oh no, I get that you were using my response as an example
I just wanted to make a point that I don't want to be lumped in with people who treat certain things in this game like a social taboo when it's a video game
Some stuff is annoying and frustrating about it, I think everyone probably agrees DBD is one of the most frustrating games ever made lol
I just wanna clarify that I don't think anyone should intentionally try to ruin someone elses experience because that's not who I am. I was just trying to say I think players should play how they want as long as they're not breaking any rules.

They don't have to, but should they try to?
they could try but both sides should play however they choose too as long as they're playing by the rules.

Does that also mean it's not the Survivors job to make the Killer's experience enjoyable then?
Yes both sides don't have to make anyone's experience enjoyable. What I mean is it's no one's job to make anyone's experience enjoyable. I'm not saying to be toxic on purpose if this makes sense.

It is, you know that the player getting camped is not enjoying it. If you can’t apply pressure without these toxic strategies you really need to get better
It's not the killers job to make survivors experience enjoyable.
-
If survivors are bodyblocking me I hit them and after I hook the survivor, I'll look near the hook for the injured survivor. It works sometimes.

It’s always to ruin someone’s experience. Maybe you don’t see it that way but people with this playstyle are very toxic and don’t care about anyone except themselves.
I can it see it only being toxic if the killer is smacking them on the hook.

With the flashlight click you can use it as a distraction to get a killer away from a injured teammate I've done this plenty of times
I see this in a lot of my matches.
-
mhmm idk I think she looks fine.

Will Kate get changes?
I wouldn't change her I think she looks perfect.
-
@aroell said:
But tunneling and camping is actually toxic, it’s a known strat people use to ruin someone’s experience
It's never to ruin someone's experience. Maybe to some people but I don't ever see it that way.
-
@SloppyVoldemort said:
Is it toxic if I hit a survivor ONCE on the hook when I hooked them? That scream (from some survivors) is just earbleeding.
yeah some of them can be loud.

Oh yeah so do I, especially if they see that the Bubba is waddling towards the basement with one of their buddies. Yeah at that point I don't blame them lol.
I still don't DC as annoying as it can be.
-
@ShamelessPigMain said:
Well that sounds more like problem with hook grabs. BT isn't even that great of an anti-camp perk in the first place.
Yeah it's useless when you face Bubba.

From the sounds of it, I hear Blight, Nurse, Spirit, Bubba, and the occasional Wraith seem to be the DC flavors of this month.
Bubba I can see why lol.

Absolutely, in her current state she's really not fun to play or verse.
I don't like playing as her either, nothing really exciting.
-
I wish there was a you could buy bloodpoints instead of using shards because those are even more of a pain to grind for. I also think the bloodpoint cap should be raised.

"And i dont think it just me, Doctor have most DC games of any killers. Play him for a while, you will see for yourself."
Boy howdy, just wait until you start seeing Spirits in every game!
It's been a long while since someone in my matches DC'd against a spirit but I imagine it happens all the time in the game.

Someone did a test of 160 survivors, 6% of them brought a key, only items lower were maps and fireworks. Out of that 6%, I would assume even less of them actually escaped.
I wouldn't go by stats because those are not always accurate.
-
No leave the current BT alone. I don't understand why the perk even worked that way before in the first place.

You guys on this thread are true heroes, you know that, right? Despite knowing that our feedback is not heard, you kept strong and held the line day after day.
Hell, it is already 28 pages long!
I wish the best of luck to you console players, and I sincerely hope this thread changes how BVHR handles community feedback. Not just regarding this topic, but everything else in general.
we really appreciate it! Gonna keep it going until we get what we need.

We're reminded every time we log in that there's performance issues so may as well keep reminding BHVR they're still a thing. I think it helps that there's group of people from multiple platforms speaking up about it and random people keep popping in to share their experiences helping us keep it going.
very well said!
-
there's nothing wrong with survivors bodyblocking killers that are trying to hook.
-
we're gonna live forever is a David perk.

If they at least got rid of perk tiers then that alone would be a big reduction in the grind
this needs to be done at least.

Oni

I think she looks better tbh.
-
Lol just find a gen that isn't blocked.
-
I don't think her power needs to be changed but I think a few of her add ons need some addressing.
-
I don't mind going against the twins it's just the slugging makes me wanna pull my hair out of my head.

You could stun the killer and that's it, how stunning once can be compared to invulnerability? Killers can catch you again after a few seconds again
Well if you get tunneled more that can help your teammates pop gens faster.

I'm pretty sure the last statistics that were given, key escape rates accounted for 3%. I rarely see them and, don't use them unless I find one in game.
I try to avoid them in the bloodweb because I want med kits and toolboxes which I think are more important items to have.
-
@stikyard said:
The funny thing is, Keys only account for 3% survival escapes and Killers are averaging 60% Kill rate.
But they rage about keys...
I find it hard to believe that it's 3% when I see keys in most of my matches and the hatch gets used.
-
@PureDoctorMain said:
Franklins that is my change :)
but even franklins doesn't work well because survivors can put keys down then retrieve them when hatch spawns.

@Ryuzaki said:
If by some miracle a representative from BHVR acknowledges the performance issues on this topic, that's them admitting they broke their promise of optimization back in 2019. It wouldn't surprise me if BHVR have told the mods to stay silent on this matter in the hope that this will all blow over. This topic has amassed over 10k views! Surely, a gaming news site must have picked up on this by now.
this ain't gonna blow over as long as the freezes and stuff keep happening.

@Brokenbones said:
You know I miss being able to hear Spirits footsteps while she was phasing
It wasn't much, but for the perceptive survivor it made a difference.
it'd be nice to at least have this back.
-
ehh not really because my friends are I are pretty well coordinated. Now when I play solo that's a different story....
-
sometimes I dodge the lobby or tunnel the key user out of the match.
-
it was very scary when I was new but not so much. The only time when I do get scared is when I'm the last survivor against a stealthy killer.
