Basekit Moris after enough hook states have been achieved would be so so healthy for the game. I'd further add that those Moris need to be worth 3X a regular hook kill BP
I would like this too. Will make killers try to 4 moris aka making tunneling less and less appealing.

STBFL broken? 🤣😂 its a perfectly balanced perk. If you are being serious I can see you never played killer in your life.
No i have never played killer in my life. Have you ever played DBD? Do you know what STBFL even means?

It still really didn't change much. Only really helped m1 killers and m2 stayed basically the same. You save maybe 2 seconds with the basekit cool down reduction and post hit sprint burst reduction.
It is actually more broken on m2 killers like Demo or Nemesis more than Sadako or GF.
@Jangles said:
I feel like STBFL is fine as is. Get the obsession to take a hit. If you're the obsession, take a hit.
It is not that simple. What if the obsession was injured? what if the killer uses m2 on obsession? what if it was solo game?

Its not killer fault that there is no counter-play to survivors properly bodyblocking and abusing the killer's long cooldown timer to get free unhooks at base-kit without having instant down.
Do you want just free unhooks without the killer being able to hook-trade at all? in end game, it can lead to free escapes with survivor kongo lines.
I am just playing devil advocate on your complaint on the perk.
Don't remove the perk, Just nerf it. 5 stack max instaed of 8 is reasonable change.
-
@Marik1987 said:
Why should it be?
It was strong perk, now after basekit killer changes is now a broken perk.
It should be 5 stacks at most.
@Brimp said:
Still see no reason why it should be nerfed. Maybe cause you can't just hold W anymore for over 5 loops after being hit?
Yes.
-
Tbf 50 win (3k or more) streak shouldn't be doable. But if it because cheaters then i understand.
And also im not MMR hater, But the game really isn't the same since ranks gone. (when rank rests from 1 to 10 not to 5)
-
Im surprised how this perks survived not being nerfed all this time, Even survived 'the meta shaking patch' somehow. For me after (Ruin/Pop) it was the strongest perk for killers. imagine now with gameplay basekit changes.
But Instead they nerfed Blast Mine.

Again, just wait out the timer. It’s not that hard.
10 sec sometimes is hard. And i care about the enjoyment for the killers who is chill and don't tunnel. and this is unfair for them.
And again my point was this change won't help anybody. Killers who tunnel will not be effected much. But the killer who don't tunnel can face this base-kit bodyblocking every game.
So why doing this change when they can just buff DS stun again.

How does one shot killers make that any different?
Well for example Myres with tier 3 coming after your healthy teammate and you are blocking with this base kit BT. If he hits you still no down.
-
@GannTM said:
BT bodyblocking was never effective anyway. All it does is essentially the survivor asking to be tunneled if the killer is competent enough to wait out BT.
I have to disagree. Specialy killers with 1 shot abilities against SWFs.

@YOURFRIEND said:
Apparently you really enjoy being stuck on the ground and you really miss the old meta.
"Stuck on the ground" for 60 still a risk for killers to take.
-
@blue4zion said:
use ds if you getting tunneled
Is this the perk you guys asked to be nerfed million times to the point now is totally useless?
-
Really? because as someone who only play killer. I'm ashamed of playing this easy role 😭😖
-
Idk why people think Nemesis is not strong killer. He has the most anti-loop power after Nurse.
-
These times as solo survivor. It's not about what killer anymore it is more about the build + how is the killer mood.
But other than that. It's The Trickster.
-
I perfer going against Nurse than Spirit, Nemesis, Trickster.
-
Nothing wrong with it, Plus most of the killers camp and tunnel so why wouldn't you?
-
Im ok with the changes. Still wish they increased DS stun duration it was more needed than any of this.
- MoM nerf was weird but who cares was trash perk before now its another dead perk.
- PR+DMS im fan of blocking gens perks (unlike regressing/slow progression perks) my only issue is this can be used with Pop now.

Just the other day a really well known streamer on the forums said the increase in hackers is survivor mains doing it as revenge. Some people are ridiculous and made really dumb stuff up.
LOL
I guess Tunnelers is also Survivors mains who wants to ruin Killers image.
-
@Marik1987 said:
+ killing themselve on hooks. If u act against this terrible streamers, dont cut the important part out
Same thing. Everything i said apply on killing themselves on hook too.

The Oni
He Is great in chases and in gen pressure. But he also have small weaknesses for fun mind games.
Other good killers: The Huntress. I also love Bubba if he doesn't camp.

@xEmoGirlxAlexisx said:
Some Survivor give up becausethey dont like the Update so they give up and increase the Killers killrate to Hope that the Devs revert the Changes like DH nerf or some Killer Buffs
So when Killer dc/gave up it is because the game isn't balance. But when Survivors do it must be anything but game balance issue?
-
I mean at this point sure why not. Let survivors aura shown all the match and make them do 12 gens. I'm sure it won't be enough tho but it will help a bit.
-
I agree with your title.
-
@fulltonon said:
It's been the case for all the time, at least they are not an underdog anymore.
Prior update, it was a quite strange situation, because killers are the one decide how the game goes yet they were on the weak side for some reason.
I 100% agree with you. But at least before when you get hit by DS (with faster gens) it was more hurting and a risk many killers wont take. which led to a better gameplay.

“Just learn to loop without Dead Hard” - anti-loop killer Main

Seeing a lot of complaints on here about survivor being unplayable at the moment and I really don't understand it.
I've been playing SoloQ and have escaped 8 out of 11. Gens are still flying pretty fast because I've been using Prove Thyself and going out of my way to find other survivors working gens. I've also been using Lightweight, Lithe and Windows of Opportunity.
I know every game is different and it depends on killer and survivor skill, but it really isn't as bad as people are making out.
The problem isn't about Killer/Teammate skill. Most of the time both maybe avarage.
The problem is the game now fully depant on the "killer mood" if its against solos. If he tunnel with 5 gens nothing can stop them. if he tunneled mid-match nothing can stop them. If he don't want to tunnel and want a chill game he can do it.
With the killing of DS and making gens last longer. Proxy camp/Tunnel never been stronger. Thus why many should only play as SWF or just play Killer.

Under these "super specific conditions", or what I call it, SCC. It will take 4 hits to down you.
- Healthy State.
- Mettle of Man.
- Styptic Agent / Dead Hard.
- Getting Downed.
ِAfter throwing the game to get it work.

Another solution: don't be a d*ck to the killer. I have actually never been slugged for playing normal, but seen it a few times done when spectating. Most of the times they were really good, but also BMing the killer at every opportunity. Not saying that there aren't any really mean spirited killers out there, but I would recon that most normal games a killer wouldn't waste their own time just to ruin some random strangers gaming experience? At least not enough that it would be a real problem.
Funny that even with the disclaimer the first replay is this.
So you disagree with the idea beacuse you assume that killers only doing this because survivors being d*ck to them, and the same time you say there are mean killers out there?
@bm33 said:
They should just cut bleedout down to 2 minutes, make it same amount of time as a hook. Bleedout taking 4 minutes is way too long to be laying there doing nothing.
4 min in normal situation is fine. It encourge killers to hook.
-
What if we flip the idea, And make the character (Survivor or Killer) have 5th perk slot and it has to be one of their teachables?
-
Beaky Buzzard

I don't know what to say anymore...

Trickster, Nemesis, Spirit.

Is this a new way of killers complaining now?
I play EU, in the day survivor queue time is very fast. while in the night it is the killer queue time fast.
Does this means in the day i can come here and complain "Thanks Behavior for trashing the survivor experience so much that there are rarely any survivors left to entertain your beloved killers"?
-
Why people still think Nemesis is below A tier?
-
@amazing_grace said:
I'm not sure if that's the best solution either. It sounded like they have more to the mori rework that they can't really talk about yet because they're probably trying to work it all out still. The only reason I'm not too fond of your suggestion is that it kind of nerfs DS a bunch as well in the process, which might be fine after they do the perk rework. It sounds like they're changing a bunch with the meta perks and how the base game works, so I think it's just hard to determine what should be done with the mori rework.
I do like their current change because I don't have to worry about the last survivor DSing me at least.
I don't think even removing DS would make a problem with my suggestion. Because if the killer manage to hook every survivor twice. at this point he deserve to Mori me.

But what about all the other killers?
The rest of killers will be happy. They wont deal with DH. I'm only asking to nerf/change chase powers of some killers.
@MB666 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/323556/ok-so-you-want-to-nerf-dh
sprint burst by far requires more skill than pressing a button only to correct a mistake and extend the chase without almost any effort.
(now sprint burst ,you can 99% , travel the map more quicker if used correctly , and even used while in chase without the unfair Iframes)
"Then nerf anti-loop killers too" I want the same....but sadly map design is still pretty bad for killer...so thats why i dont complain that much against those killer except maybe killers that just promotes W gameplay like Artist.
there is difference between anti-loop killers and opressive anti-loop ones.
I disagree. SB will be even more hated. Whenever you aproach any gen you will see Meg running in straight line far far away you won't even want to chase her.
About the maps goes both ways honestly. have you ever got chased by Trickster or Nemesis in auto heaven? Yeah fun times.
-
@dugman said:
Nerfing something that’s overpowered doesn’t require changing anything else to be “fair”.
It does. DH is only overpowered against M1 killers. But against Anti-loop killers is not. So deleting the perk without doing something about those killers in chase IS unfair.
@LordCyphre said:
Why?
To make everyone happy not just one side.
@Xendritch said:
You can beat any of those killers without DH though? I don't understand the logic.
You also can win against 4 DHs. But still people wanted to be nerf because it is not fun/skillful perk to face. The same feeling to survivors when they play against those type of killers.
@burt0r said:
The biggest irony in this post is on one hand saying that the nerf to dead hard would make a nerf to killer necessary and meanwhile saying that the nerf wouldn't make a difference because every survivor would use sprint burst and claiming it would be stronger than dh.
You should either think that sprint burst is stronger and a nerf won't be necessary for balance or that dh IS better and therefore a nerf would be warranted.
Both at the same time is contradictory.
It is not about the strength of the perks. But this is the players natural in this fourms. Nerf something and they will go hunt the next.
-
Shaming one of Davids perks? Thats homophobic dude.
-
Nurse and Blight almost the same. Very hard only at the start but then they are easy to play.
Hillbilly is the hardest to master imo, And all the ones who master him is from 2016-2017. No new Billy mains which makes them also very rare.
-
I wish flashlights is basekit
-
IT IS SO COOL!
Thank you BHVR for this quick awesome change!
-
- Players then: Is he strong? Is his desgin cool? Is his perks valuable?
- Players now: Is he gay?
-
Tunneling is much easier than gen rushing. Since you are in your own, You can take this shortcut door (tunneling) any sec you want. Unlike gen rushing you need to co-op with randoms who may do it or may not.
But ofc everyone should play the way they want. If tunneling is something you enjoy do it.
-
They should add CD on the (Click Sound) not the click itself. Or make it only survivors hear the click sound not the killer.
-
Don't play fair for others sake. For me i don't like to tunnel/camp to challenge myself.
Tunneling makes the game too easy for that i avoid it.
