I can be polite but is the devs aren’t doing a good job.
I can agree, but they are doing way better than 2 years ago.

Just going to bring this topic back up because... yeah.
-
For all the people who keep standing by the devs whatever they do, i respect you and you should keep loving the devs.
You can actually get in trouble for harassment.

Sure, give survivors the 200% bonus back.
I'm sure they learned their lesson and won't tear each other apart, like they did the last time.
Otherwise I'll be enjoying the show.
They won't get anything if they tear each other apart because it only works on safe unhooks.
-
...So WGLF actually has a purpose outside of point gain? If not, what do you guys think they should add to WGLF?
Adding on to your idea:
Any health states you heal while WGLF is activated will award a token.

That is admirable. Is it hard to learn how to play her with controller?
The Xbox One X is so optimized that it can run DBD at a high FPS, it's really good tbh! I say it's almost as optimized as a gaming PC. This allowed me to properly aim my Lethal Blink Attacks, which allowed me to properly practice.
TL;DR
It's easy to learn Nurse with good FPS. However, I did put hours upon hours of learning into her.

Hehehehe, this one is new! 😂

They shouldn’t make killers and perks that need to be buffed and fixed Day 1.
Or if they decide to do that they need to learn their players won’t pay for a crap product. That’s is the Fallout 76 mentality, ship it now fix it later.
I definitely don’t want DbD turning into Fallout 76 so they better learn from this and make better updates and content we will want to pay for.
Not everything is going to be perfect, and telling the developers that they make a crap product won't automatically make things better either. Like @Peanits said:
We can't do anything with "Bad game, bad devs". If you let us know what it is you don't like, we can work with that and try to find a way to make it better.
You have to be patient, and provide constructive feedback. This happened with the Spirit and she got buffed drastically. Legion was seen as a poorly designed killer, they made him have counter play while increasing his movement speed. Clown got his main kit buffed, and his add-ons where slightly nerfed to compensate so he wasn't add-on reliant. Ghostface is going to get fixed, but what you don't understand is that...
It's easier said than done.

Nurse users of xbox and ps4 can't play without lunge.
See? I'm not the only one who thinks reducing the lunge will kill console Nurses.

I was the first one to praise their best patches (2.0 and 2.1). I also said MoM nerf was good in another thread. But just about everything else they have done as of late is either not meaningful enough or flat out sucks.
Freddy never needed a rework, he just needed QoL changes like Adrenaline and Self-Care not waking you up. Instead, they're about to destroy him.
Peanits already said in another thread they won't have time to fix Ghostface.
Plague and Clown are still garbage.
Legion went from trash to dumpster fire.
And you want me to PRAISE BHVR?
If this is BHVR at their best, I don't want to see their worst.
But just about everything else they have done as of late is either not meaningful enough or flat out sucks.
Well let's see what you put down, and I'll tell you what I think.
Freddy never needed a rework, he just needed QoL changes like Adrenaline and Self-Care not waking you up. Instead, they're about to destroy him.
Actually, the community seems to love the new Freddy, especially the Freddy mains. You saying they are going to destroy him doesn't reflect what the community is saying about him. While I agree a few QoL changes would make him better, he still had unfun factors about him such as the dream transition, action penalty, aura reading, and his invisibility. The rework removes all that frustration while making him really strong! :)
Peanits already said in another thread they won't have time to fix Ghostface.
They will have time to fix Ghostface, but just not within the PTB. He's still going to be a good killer after they fix him, and I think they are going to buff him as well!
Plague and Clown are still garbage.
Actually they are really good, but Plague struggles at high ranks a lot more than Clown does. I heard some Clowns are deadly, because they know how to use their AoE gas.
Legion went from trash to dumpster fire.
They can always change him later, such as making his FF status effect add-ons take effect on the first M2. Just remember, they have priorities, which means they can't do everything at once so just give them time. Also, they changed Legion because they didn't like the "No Counter Play" part about him, especially the moonwalking tactic. Now, he has counter play and he's a 115% killer, just like y'all asked for... again.
And you want me to PRAISE BHVR?
Well, I'm not telling you to kiss their shoes, but you should at least respect the effort they put into this game. It's not easy trying to balance an asymmetrical horror game.

Her insane lunge allows bad blinks to land hits where they shouldn't as well as limiting her counter play to specific spots of certain maps. A slightly lower lunge wouldn't affect good nurses but allow for some very small counter play that isn't dependent on the map entirely.
It only forces better aimed blinks.
It's already hard enough to move your camera on the survivor, but that might be a console limitation for me. If the Nurse guesses correctly, you deserve to get hit because they predicted your movement.
That's why you use LoS blockers to make the Nurse guess where you're at. Will the survivor turn back or will the survivor keep going? Did the survivor hide during my fatigue?
-
@Blueberry said:
I just think they should make the 1 extra blink her ultra-rare with a downside of less range on blinks. Still insanely strong, but it would be an ultra-rare so I'm fine with it. Definitely no more 2 blinks addons tho.
Secondly just lesson the insane lunge after her blink. It's currently very forgiving. It wouldn't affect nurses that are good with their aim.
That's all I think she needs, not much.
As a console Nurse main, the lunge is what makes Nurse playable because it gives you enough time to correct your aim. Bad lunge means less hits; you see this with tier I Myers because he's slow and has to be breathing down the survivors' backs to get his hits.
-
I think Mettle of Man should need 2 body block hits while the killer is carrying someone to activate. After soaking up a hit, you'll enter Deep Wounds and you'll have 60 seconds to mend yourself. However, you can't mend yourself, nor can your teammates mend you so you'll be forced to stay in the killer's TR if you don't want to go down.

@Orion said:
Why should the power role's perks not be more powerful than the number role's perks?
All survivor perks have something that impact the game such as, BUT is not limited to a healing bonus, aura reading, recovery bonus, repair speed bonus, and etc. However, WGLF doesn't have anything because Bloodpoints doesn't mean anything in one's ability to survive, it's just currency for the Bloodweb. Yes, you can use BP to get better stuff in the Bloodweb, but why use WGLF when BBQ&C is more consistent? I can get 64k on my Nurse game and then use those BP on my survivors, which I already do. I have no reason to play survivor if I want BP and the perk doesn't even aid you in-game. Survivors aren't asking for a OP perks, we want something small to help it become an option.
I was thinking WGLF should be merged with We'll Make It, and every health state you heal while the perk is activate should also award a token.
-
I think you're over exaggerating things here because they are looking into Ghost Face to make him a better killer. Also, Ghost Face isn't the only killer being looked at since Freddy is getting an overhaul buff, and they just recently mentioned Leather Face getting an update. A few troublesome perks got changed: DS got a rework a while ago and MoM is getting a balance change; you're actually getting what you asked for and you're still upset about it? BHVR is doing their absolute best to make the game balanced and fun for both roles, not just the killer. While I agree survivors are still really strong, without BHVR, the game would be unplayable for the killer role because there would still be things such as double pallets and pallet vacuum. I know they re-introduced double pallets, but that's just happens when the map doesn't have their minimum amount.
Can you at least be happy for the things BHVR did and not focus solely on their mistakes? Every company makes their mistakes, no one is perfect.
-
@Peanits said:
First and foremost, there are nowhere near 500 people on the Dead by Daylight team. BHVR is a big company with all sorts of different teams and projects, DBD is only one of them.
Beyond that, there are many more devs playing the game than you might think. Most people here do not stream and do not have the BHVR tag in their name. A lot play on console in their spare time, even. We have people from a wide variety of different skill levels.
We go through many iterations before anything hits the PTB. What we played even a day before might be different from the version that first hits the test build. We try to give you the most up to date version possible when the PTB goes live, and naturally this means that some bugs and issues appear.
The PTB is not the final version. We still have time to make changes before it goes live. The entire point is to get your feedback.
Preach it!
-
Currently, the survivor's camera causes Ghostface's power to end if it dare so even shows his pinky finger.
Dying and hooked survivors shouldn't knock you out of your stealth ability since you can't stalk them.
-
-
No, I dont believe he's weak, I dont have any problems with survivors being able to counter his power but I feel like the power itself is not special at all, it's just a copy of Myers and Pig...
Basically Slenderman? :)
-
I don't want to leave my console friends behind, they mean a lot to me! :(
-
If I was forced to pick a favorite, it would have to be @Gay Myers (Luzi), BUT just because I picked Myers, that doesn't mean I don't love y'all any less! :)

You're going to be asked for proof or statistics.
You mean these statistics? Guess where Plague is at?
Looks like Plague is around a 2K since she's roughly a 50%. If she was top tier, she would have a higher % to be honest.

@NMCKE Where is the LOL button btw?
In all seriousness, I agree it doesn't add anything to the conversation. I suppose its just something people say now as a joke tbh...
I'm okay with it being said in joking purposes, BUT I'm not okay with it being said in feedback purposes.
For Example: You make a well, thought out thread about why X needs changes for balance. Then someone comments on your thread saying, "Man, I miss the LOL button." Can you see how annoying that is? I wished the moderators punished MORE people who don't add to the discussion (which they already do, BUT I want them to crack down harder).

@Janick said:
Hello
We are reluctant at the moment at modifying her. First we have other killers who are higher in the list for modification/balance needs. Second thing, our stats shows that she is top killer (4K) at rank one. It seems that once you've mastered her, she can be extremely effective. She definitely has a high skill curve.
We're not asking for HUGE buffs, we're asking for some MINOR buffs.
For example: Fully infected survivors suffer a 10% action penalty until they cleanse themselves.
Once you make this change, wait for a few months so we can see how Plague is doing. Maybe we could nerf it down to 5% or buff it to 15%? You need to take an incremental and iterative approach to buffing these characters. Get out of your comfort zone and try some things out! :)

Incorrect - Shroud of Separation is also hidden - it's just hardly ever used.
What do you mean? I use it a lot to trick survivors into thinking I have a mori :)
-
So, we got a new mechanic in year 3: The End Game Collapse. Now, knowing this, will there be a new mechanic in year 4 to add a new objective to make games last slightly longer? Preferably, it isn't another holding M1 type of thing.
-
Well, good job behavior you made another ######### game with no idea of what your doing and not caring about what people think of the game, im probably gonna get banned from the forums for this just like they do to every other person who criticises the game rather than listening and trying to fix the problem, instead they sweep it under the rug and forget about it.
This is why I dislike forum members who just say things like, "No, please don't buff survivor" "Nah, it's fine" "Where's the LOL button at?" Because they don't say why they feel that why and it doesn't even add to the conversation in most cases.

Their loss. I would have bought the whole dlc with money & added some skins.
So I won't spend money.
Really wonders me, why they would overlook something like that.
I heard you can buy the DLC for $10, but if you buy auric cells, it will take 1,400 ($14) auric cells to buy both characters.
-
I love facing nurse but they aren’t common on PS4. I like playing as nurse and spirit the most.
I always go crazy when I see a Pig, because her RBT adds a secondary objective. I also love Ambushing survivors since it's like you're an assassin.
-
+1
Ah, I see. Didn't think about that.
-
If you're going to lose, take it like a man instead of DCing because DCing is really toxic.
Also, don't taunt the killer because it's usually considered as being cocky.
-
I think DS is fine, BUT I think they should revert the stu buff after they nerf Enduring against it. However, even if they didn't, I still wouldn't be bothered by it because it has a condition and a easy counter.
-
Can the pig's crouch movement speed also be increased? Like for at least 4.4 m/s or something?
I really want Amanda to be a 4.0m/s killer while crouching. However, I'm fine if it's anymore than that tbh.

Ah I see.
But that bs for survivor..
The chainsaw just connect with them no matters what.
That's just animation smoothing. When you get hit by the Chainsaw, the game will try to make sure the chainsaw look like it hits you. This is to prevent frustrating moments where it looks like it didn't hit you, but it still did anyways.

By moonwalking during a chase.
What if it was terror radius based?
-
That's not auto-aim, it's called back revving. It's where you Chainsaw a survivor when you're directly behind them, thus giving them no time to dodge the Chainsaw.
-
@Blueberry said:
The only auto aim that exists is the one after the nurses blink, that's it. All those other scenarios you are mentioning isn't auto aim.
I can confirm as a console Nurse main. Auto-aim gave me some ridiculous hits, but sometimes, it made me try to hit a survivor through a wall.
-
This isn't toxic, it's called just playing the game. While I understand it's annoying, it doesn't automatically make it toxic.
-
Why cant we use the key to unlock the hatch while crawling? Why is that restricted?.... Edit: I just find it an unnecessary restriction
Yeah, it's over once you enter the dying state. However, I find it ironic that the dying survivor can get up and jump into the hatch, but can't open a locked door. This also applies to Med-Kits as well.
-
@Mochan said:
How about we give survivors a 12% move speed perk. You like that?
Sure, whenever you are outside the killer's terror radius! :)

It still seems just not worth it imo, what is stopping me from counting sixty seconds? As for bt I don’t think this would effect survivors very much since I could just count the full timer and try to take a hit.(probably better to keep looping though).
As for counting 60 seconds, it won't be accurate since humans are known for their errors. Also, with Blindness, you can't tell when you're exposed, when you're cursed by a Hex, when you're item is about to be used up, when you're about to finish healing, when you're affected by leader, when MYC will expire, when you're affected by Blindness, when your exhaustion is about to expire, how many stacks you have a certain perk, and etc.
-
@GrootDude said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/503052#Comment_503052
We’d already know about dying light though and we’ve probably met our teammate with leader. It would be very hard to make blindness worth it.
Blindness also hides status effect notifications. This means you won't know when you borrow time will run out, or when your MYC exposed will run out.
-

Why don't we paint all the survivors in neon pink paint while we're at it, I mean we can't have killers not finding survivors after all can we.
Woah there, I said it would be within a certain range. Also, the intensity of the highlight could be very low, which means a big arrow wouldn't be following you.
-
Updated the original post.
Holy moly my English is terrible! 😂 I need to stop staying up so late tbh!
-
@BigWeeWee said:
Sounds great the blindness effect has always felt a bit underwhelming and would like to see any possible build this would bring
Imagine not knowing when the DS timer would expire because Blindness hides your perks. Imagine not knowing when you're about to use your toolbox which causes survivors to be too safe by not using it.
