I wish the people who recorded these stats kept video logs so we could view the quality of their opponents.
There was some guy who recorded his win streak without any add on or perks on a Killer and posted in the forum. As you can guess people just pinpointed the low quality survivors out of his entire matches and discredited his entire streak and meme'd his topic title for a bit.

People still think DPI flicks are a thing for some reason. From my experience it's either survivor mains who want him nerfed or people who are bad at Blight and think that any Blight player who flicks must be "exploiting".
Lag flicks were dumb af of course, but anything else is just basekit Blight.
Bruh I kid you not there was a guy here in the forums that keeps Posting Lilith Omen's 180 flicks Video every time there's a Blight thread and saying if Controller blights can do this and that. This lasted for sometime until I actually started playing Blight and learned that stuff isn't possible anymore. It's only until recently that I told him "Yo that is impossible to do in recent Blight, Go watch Lilith Omen's recent video and you would see he can't do anymore of those genuine 180 flicks, it's all done by hug techs". So that amount of misinformation about DPI flicks being a thing was getting spread here and there... or some people still think those are still possible

its a miss concept.
If u start at engine of a car with hug tech and hit them on the opposite side of a back seat. From survivor perspective its 180 from blight perspective its 90.
So yes you can do 180 but its not 180.
I always said Blight can only do 180 by doing hug techs which is counterable by holding W. but yeah I think it's just Survivor never playing the killer and doesn't know how he actually works.

Just a point: I've watched a game and a streamer was saying the bubba was tunnelling, camping and hitting them on hook because they were black?
Isn't this a regular occurrence with leatherface players though?
I, am quite often tunnelled, hit on hook and facecamped with insidious when survivoring against a leatherface
It is but you shouldn't be saying that.
Also it's just streamer entitlement anyway. If they weren't black they just say the Leatherface was stream sniping them lol.

I've provided you with a video of it being used to antagonize black people, can you do the same? Didn't think so, byeeeee with your smooth brain argument.
You can't be doing that to me videogamedunkey

The asian mask what looks pretty much identical to all the other masks so you wouldn't even notice it and isn't being used to antagonize asian people?
Great argument.
But somewhere out there it's being used to antagonize asian people? The fact that you don't notice it the same as me not noticing it's being used to antagonize black people since you know they're all mask worn by a Killer known to wear human faces?
Great argument.

Hmm maybe because that's where the complaints were coming from?
I guess they're all insane though according to you.
Yes the people complaining about it are not the entire black community. There's a difference between a cosmetic that's lore friendly to the killer. If people are being racist about it send your proof to tech support and they're going to take actions.
There's an Asian mask there why can't I be offended?
-
Actually defeats the only way to pressure four individuals in the game lol. You'd get punished for committing and dropping chases. No in between.

Ah so all of the black people who complained about it are insane? Keep digging.
Nah insane people do. Why are you putting a color with people?

So because you haven't seen anyone complain about it personally that means it's fine? Good oneeeee.
Yes.
Because any sane individuals doesn't have a problem with the mask. It's lore friendly to the actual killer itself.

i mean i played dks3 pvp for like 1-2 years so if elden ring pvp holds up i could foresee myself never coming back to dbd personally. i barely play dbd as it is now.
Well I'm not huge on PvP and even I got bored after a few months of the same thing on dks3 pvp. Probably the best thing to happen to invasion in that game is when people figure out you could invade inside boss arena. That was the best time for me and it was short lived probably got patched like a week after it started circulating lol.
But yeah just talking about the people not huge on PvP would probably stay on the game for a few months if they really love the game. Maybe Otz and Scott would stay for a long time though. But I doubt they'd completely drop DBD.

I don't get this.
It's the first time (I believe) where an in-game item/feature was removed simply because the players were using it in a bad manner. And instead of punishing the said players, BHVR decided to remove an important (and rewarding) part of a core feature that was solely meant for Bubba.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/1FXIO8JQPL5X/faces.png
If only people realized that all the masks are actually darker than the original Bubba mask, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place. Claudette just happens to be at the end of the color spectrum (not far from Jake's). THAT should not be a reason for removing a feature that has been there since his release.
Twitter warrior complained enough and they got what they wanted. I genuinely have not seen anyone complain about the mask anywhere except on Twitter lmao.
*edit
Maybe once on the forum where they somehow slinked their way here.
-
I'm a Blight main and has transitioned to playing Survivor 70% of the time. Blight is the best well designed the killer they made. Even the techs they are doing has a LOT of counter play and can be beaten by just holding W when they're spamming rushes on a wall. I do think some moonrushes could be looked at though.

for the record Otz tru3 and I are absolutely dropping DBD for Elden Ring. I doubt permanently though.
I think a lot of people would lmao. Elden ring is the Hypest thing to happen to a Souls fan. Maybe like few months off DBD if PvP is good lol

Yeah, I think it'll make its way into several of my builds. It actually looks like its worth using. Gearhead too is going to be a great informational perk. Literally a consistent info perk. Hit one person, any one other survivor on a gen gets revealed for ten seconds.
I want these to come out the PTB unscathed.
If you're gonna try it out on PTB can you test this scenario out? Three gen situation proc the perk then just slug someone and hook him again whenever the perk resets its cool down and you're sure someone jumped on those gens.
-
They actually bent the knee to the guys on Twitter. I can't believe this is happening. I never seen anyone complain about the masks on anywhere except Twitter.

This is anticipated to be really good. Makes Dead Lock look like a really questionable perk now.
It sounds too good to be true that I don't believe it. Also personally think it's pretty overpowered if it's true.
-
Some people have lives and can only play on specific time of the day lol.
-
That's just SWF groups in general. That's basically my entire experienced joining random SWF groups on discords. TTV streams is just you taking a peek at what happens in comms lol. It's a bunch of toxic entitlement.
Of course there is some chill groups out there but it is rare.
-
I remember when people were excited about the badham "Rework" then all they did was separate the map into 5 different versions which are all broken lmao.
-
Depends how many matches were there where you needed DS? In my case I think DS is garbage at high MMR. You get slugged on the ground if the killer knows you're a competent survivor.
-
PC is Nurse and Blight on consoles. Seen some good blights on consoles too which can contest with most PC blights.
-
Not impossible. Oni suffers a lot on common loops to be honest. It's a bit like huntress, Greed the pallet and he has a good chance of not hitting his power attack if you hug the loop tightly. Keep in mind the player has a different mindset on actual tournament. They're not gonna greed crap in that when money is at stake. Maybe if you're really confident but you're better off playing it safe you're in a tournmanent and Oni is a Snowball killer after all. Don't hand him that luxury.

Maybe with a 4 man yeah.
I've had 3 facecamping Bubba's out of the 6 Killers I've played so far.
I feel for Killers right now, but the amount of useless and unprompted BM I've seen in through the roof.
Nah talking about Solo queue. Maybe bubba is popular in your region only got like two bubba out of 36 matches of solo queue. There's a bit more bubba when I'm playing with a Friend though.
-
The more I play survivor the more I realize how easy it is to get out with 3-4 man escapes.
-
He doesn't need buffs and I also think Alchemist ring shouldn't be reworked. Maybe made into a pink add on but that's it.
Blight is the perfect killer in the game.
-
the hell was that a dox or something lol
-
He needs to be added and also gets his pizza from Dwight
-
Dead hard, Borrowed time and Circle of healing is the best perks in the game IMO.
Dead hard is really strong now with validation.
Borrowed times keeps your big brain randoms from getting tunneled to death by the killer or becomes free pressure on the ground
circle of healing to keep every pepega healthy to Hold W every time they get injured. Keep in mind that the faster they become healthy the efficient they become.

But keep in mind Pinhead has other abilities besides his 1v1 chain. Clown only has his bottles, that’s it, so his bottles should in principle be a bit better than the 1v1 chains.
But it is a bit better than the 1 v 1 chains.
The chains are horrible to land and has a lot of counter play on the survivor side. It's a high risk low reward for Pinhead. You miss it you lose a LOT of distance and if you land it you can MAYBE get a hit which isn't even a guarantee lol. Clown is more consistent in this area. Also I don't think people realize how cheesy this is throw a bottle on pallet and you die either way unless it's an extremely safe pallet.
I agree that Clown needs some buffs but this ain't it.
-
One in a hundred interaction.
-
Too op. You're talking about Pinhead who has to accurately lands his janky chain and a Clown who can just spam his bottle at the pallet side lol.

There are more and more SWFs being made because soloQs are seeing how "well" they work with coms. If Coms were not being used the matches would be more fair.
Not really. I'm a strict advocate for Solo queue being totally fine at high rank. You don't need communications to spam generator and last a whole minute in a chase. That's literally all you had to do. And if you have a the game and map sense of a potato there's Kindred to help you to be more efficient.
Game is inherently broken. SWF just make it more apparent but you can do this pretty much on Solo queue and I have done it numerous of times.
-
I don't think SWF are broken. The game is inherently broken. You can do this with randoms as well but they have to be good survivors grouped up together which does happen as well.
Also doubt all your matches were SWF.
-
I'm fine about it mostly anyway. Maybe the team is prioritizing generators or they're getting zoned out cleverly by the killer.
Only time I killed myself off hook is when a Survivor literally did a generator in front of me. The generator isn't even half done by the way, He went to my face cancelled the unhooked and went away. If his idea was to piss me off then it worked and I have no qualms about giving the W to the killer I just looped for a long time beforehand and is struggling to get a foothold in the match so here's free pressure I'm off the game cya.

Good thing they won't remove it. Survivors deserve something. Since all killers want ro do is camp and tunnel. And im a killer main. I'm fine worh boons
Not a good mindset for balancing the game when a side deserves something so no matter how strong it is it's excusable because in your own words they deserve something. That's bad.
That's like me excusing first down moris that you don't have to get hook to be back because the killers deserves something lmao.
-
Always said Circle of healing was a mistake and I absolutely love running it as a Survivor but it is not good for the game lmao.
-
So far not a single survivor who confirmed that they got baited by look up tech. Just killers retelling their myths and legend lol.
-
Nah just give him more cool cosmetics

That still doesn't change the fact that a killer lunge is longer than a Dead Hard. The way the validation works is that you would have missed that hit anyway, the server is determining that you actually missed the hit and the survivor is farther away than you think because you and the server are not synced up. Survivors had to deal with getting hit through Dead Hards for like 4 years and now it's finally fair because the server judges it.
Are you ignoring what I said? It stops killer lunge momentum when it should be going hence the lunge going through a dead hard is nigh impossible to pull off now. Also stop bringing your woe is me pity party. That's not what this is about.
-
Bug has been in the game for two whole years now as far as I'm aware could be longer though. Lost all pressure to this bug one time when I can't find the Survivor I slugged for a bit. It sucked.

Definitely works better than a head tilt lol at least there's a resemblance of a swing animation
Honestly it never occurred to me until recently the reason Wraith does that is to bait a DH I thought the wraith was just memeing with the bell which got me to spam it when I'm playing Wraith as well lol. I think it might work better with Silent bell add ons.
-
@gendoss said:
I don't know how much an auto Dead Hard hack would even work tbh. The killer's lunge is faster and longer than a DH so you can basically guarantee to hit a survivor through a DH every time. The only time you can't guarantee a DH hit is if they Dead Hard for distance to a pallet or something which a hack would not do.
Are you late to the party because that's why Deadbhard validation is strong right now. It forces you to go on a lunge miss cooldown. It especially hurt killers with powers that supposed to keep going like Blight rush attack, Pig ambush, Victor to a free kick in the head instead of continuing the momentum and being safe
-
Honestly it's hard to know whether it exist or not people say it does. I do find it pretty weird how people are just toughing out my Blight fake rushes to bait a dead hard and I just go "Are you kidding me? The balls on this guy" and just dodge my actual rush afterwards.
-
@VaJaybles said:
I love when I play wraith cuz I just hit my bell to make them dh.
Now that seems more believable than head tilts lol
-
@tippy2k2 said:
To be blunt, people baiting out DH are usually the really bad survivors who have no idea how to actually use DH.
As a killer, if I know the opponent has DH, I don't need to bait a thing. Either the survivor will panic when I get too close and use it (without me needing to head tilt or stutter step or put my left hand in and shake it all about) or I'll never have the chance because the survivor I'm up against knows what they're doing and has already DH'ed for pallet/window already.
Yeah that's what I meant. No one is getting baited out by Head tilts. They get baited by themseves and crumbled under the pressure then panicked dead hard. Head tilt techs is just a giant placebo imo.

No offence guys but I wish most of you read my original post I said there wasn’t enough time to get to the other side if there had of been I would’ve made it as I attempted to the problem is is there shouldn’t be a doorway that the killer can physically block fully preventing survivors from not getting out
Or you could have went to the other exit in the first place. You were probably thinking you'd get hit and sprint burst away to the exit gates. Killer pulled one over you lmao. Good luck next time.
