Gigante: Generators are so easy, they should be harder.
BHVR: We heard all complaints. Now you will not need to hold m1 anymore. Just tap it once and enjoy with your drink while doing gen.
There was actually a bug where you just need to Hold m1 once and you can let go of your mouse then press space bar occasionally for skill checks lol

Well, that's silly to me. Pink and purple add-ons should be difficult for EVERYONE to get. They shouldn't be in the majority of matches or in every blood web. And maybe they should even expire if not used in a certain amount of time. Especially if they're super powerful and tilt the game severely to one side.
I just think Blight's bloodweb is busted. I don't think I could do this with any other killer.

The blood points actually are important otherwise he wouldn't be able to get the add-ons needed to make a video like that.
But, obviously, auric cells are something most people would want more, I assume, because of all those cosmetics in the store that you can purchase with only them. That is, until you have everything that you can possibly get with them. Then it's back to BP.
It's honestly not.
If you're a Blight main blood points isn't important because you're practically swimming with these bad boys
Yes it's that easy to get Alchemist ring and blackward that I'm practically using it every match.
-
While I do think Btags is broken with Alchemist ring honestly that was a dumb move by the survivor. First one fair but the second ran into a dead zone, I would have played it safe when I knew the Blight had Btags. Third one wasn't even looking correctly he easily could have dodged that had it played the TL properly and stayed at the safe angle. Fourth one was just running out into the open bad positioning really.
-
Haven't played in a long time and immediately blames the survivor for being too strong. I don't know maybe you're rusty? Of course that can't happen it's obviously the SBMM is broken and everyone gets navy seals as opponents.
-
I got two matches in a row with sussy baka killers.
@Myla said:
Honestly I'm most likely just bad and I need to get my barings again since this is my first DBD match in 2022.
But Billy was moving way too fast and that was throwing me off when he's holding his Saw so I kind of just threw the game to observe.
What do you think?
Granted this was 3:00 AM in the morning but they still exist.

I doubt you have any proof for this conclusion.
Here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUuMmXhgTncEven then this is common sense. How do you think Dead by daylight survived when this game was so terrible years ago? Compared to now.

@jesterkind said:
This is not handholding at all. This is exactly what it says it is- an attempt to bridge the gap between SWF and SoloQ in terms of pure exchange of information.
Additionally, this wouldn't cannibalise the value of perks like Kindred at all. All it does is tell you what a survivor is doing, not where they're doing it. That's not handholding information, that's just giving you the tools to use your game sense and make an informed play if you aren't playing with friends on comms.
Speaking of, I'm not sure how you'd get this information from game sense? Certainly if you're sprinting around the map you can get a sense of what your teammates are doing, but if you're on a generator and someone gets hooked with none of your teammates around you, no amount of game sense is going to let you psychically know what those teammates are doing. At best it'd be educated guesses based on what they were doing when you last saw them and what the smart thing to do would be- the latter putting a lot of faith in your random teammates.
The gap between SWF and SoloQ needs to be bridged somehow. That's always going to look like buffing SoloQ, since the alternative would be very stupid, so this seems like a perfectly reasonable change that doesn't step on the toes of established tools and doesn't help out SWF in any way.
It is exactly hand holding. You're handed information on what everyone is doing because people have the game sense of a potato. It is the same exact reasoning when they rework Ruin because people couldn't hit skill checks so they made it easier for people to do. God forbid Survivors has something difficult in mind that they can't figure out a workaround Cough Kindred Cough
There's a lot of built in formation already in the trial. My rule of thumb is as a Random Survivor is splitting generator. If a survivor spawn with me and I know what generator he started pumping I can come back to it at some point in the game and if I exactly know what he's name is(Lobby) and I noticed that he got injured and down then it's not rocket science on what you're supposed to do in that situation. You're also severely underestimating the amount of information the game feeds you when you get downed as well and what people are doing while you're on hooked. It basically says what gen is getting worked on and it's up to you what to do with that information what you should start pressuring to avoid a three gen scenario. You can also make educated guesses based on Killer movements, What direction he started heading off to and how fast he got someone injured so that means a generator is getting worked over in that general direction maps like Dead saloon make this easier. That's just on top of my head.
You can make a lot of educated guess and put a lot of faith in your randoms. You only need to do one thing and that's keeping them away from the Killer. Loop him away from the area they're working on, See a generator get popped while in chase? Then it's up to you try and redirect the killer in that area since there's no more objectives. Don't let them get injured since it throws a lot of variables into the mix. If the killer won't chase you then just start pumping generators. The killer can't physically chase four individuals in the match. Avoid getting injured at the start of the match and bring circle of healing so everyone is as efficient as possible. As for hooked scenarios, You're in a third person camera perspective. You can immediately spot someone running towards a hook and double back depending on the map and only do an unhook if you the second person got injured then apply the same mindset. Sometimes you can still mess up and do a double save with someone and that's fine at least you're sure the third person is pumping generator that way and you found out that you can leave the unhooking to this random you double saved with. There's a lot of time lee way on the hooked timer before they get to second phase so only move when you really have to and just do generator. On top of my head.

@AnObserver said:
Even if they're given the information, they need to learn how to actually use it.
Handholding would be the game itself dictating which Survivor should go unhook a Survivor, or what Generator to do.
"I'm on a Gen", or "I'm going for Hook" (assuming they allow the Point action to apply certain status messages), still requires the Survivors to have the game sense of when it is appropriate to do so, and how to react if other Survivors are doing so, or if said Survivors fails in their attempts.
It's not rocket science if you know that the rest of survivor is a doing generator and someone needs to go on the hook. It hands the information you on a silver platter. You have to be a massive pepega to not know how to use that information. You can start blasting generators with that.

They tried to fix a good amount of bugs this mid chapter update and people yelled at Behavior for not having enough content in the update.
Did they really? I thought people were more angry at the actual changes.
-
You hold a tight three gen situation and see where it goes. Just hope the survivor make game ending mistakes. Unless you're a mobility killer or someone with snowball(One hit downs) every Survivor would reach each problematic areas in the map just by the sole fact that they got injured. The sprint burst from that is crazy forcing you to drop chases and with the addition of Boons it just turns into a War of attrition where you hope someone mess up badly.
-
Nope. As soon as they stopped adding characters the game will die. I want the game to dedicate a whole chapter to fixing the game but you know just being realistic about the whole thing. They need licensed killers to keep the player base alive.
-
In this game anything can be toxic if you want it to be.
-
By removing it permanently from the game and I'm not joking. I do genuinely think COH was a mistake and two steps backwards.

10k hours is just an exaggeration. I've seen people with less than 3k hours in battlefield 3 in jets being invincible and able to kill infantery soldiers better then other infantery.
It shouldn't be a prerequisit to have thousands of hours to have fun in medium to low level but it is. Given how many people call this a online "party" game which it isn't.
You don't need to have thousands of hours to be good at DBD and only reason people need that amount of hours because all those times is you grinding away at the stupid blood webs just to get your ideal build. You guys are severely overestimating the amount of hours you need in this game to be good lmao. There isn't a lot of mechanical skill involve with this game and it caps at a certain point, It's nowhere near CSGO in terms of mechanical skill. Having 10k hours wouldn't suddenly make your M1 game faster or better(Aside from Nurse or Blight but even those killers are nowhere near actual competitive game skill level). Again High MMR is all about decision making that's it. When you should drop chase, etc How do I apply the most pressure to competent survivors. It's just basic game sense.

They sound more like fed up with the arguments
"But this streamer/ tournament player with over 10k hours did/achieved something in public lobbies, so the game must be obviously that way sided!"
You don't need to have 10k hours to be just as good as them lol. High MMR is just decision making that's it.

No, but considering the addon is a brown addon and is one of the few good addon in the killer with less pickrate is the only reason coming to my mind.
The nerf is not a big nerf, though.
Well considering Marvin's blood and Mikhail's eye was Nerfed which was the go to add on for most Nemesis players on a budget I won't be surprised if that's how they pick their targets for Nerfs lol.

I would say Blight even at the highest level there's still counterplay to Blight which most survivors wouldn't know unless they have played the killer

Watch "DeadByDaylight 2022-01-10 03-17-38" on Streamable.I don't know what the hell is going on anymore haha. I am 80% sure the trickster shouldn't have been catching up that fast.
It doesn't help that someone watched me die and asked me if the Trickster was cheating in post game chat.
I don't know if I'm bad at this point or this is just DBD at 3:00 AM in the morning at SEA region.

That is cause I would expect the community to be grown up and actually not act like literal children over someone trying to use a fun build and not insulting them for it. Again, why even have the chat then if should EVERY TIME click on continue instantly according to what you said.
And I didn't wait and have a long useless conversation with trolls. I read the first thing, see if was an insult, a gg, a question, etc. and then decide if I should move on or stay. If it was an insult, I moved on, but it is still enough to kill the mood.
Sorry that I expect people to not insult me for trying something different and not use the ye old bt, ds, coh, dh build :P
Whoa are you new to DBD?

Why is it now wrong to watch those matches till the end? I want to see how these games play out still, since sometimes, fun stuff can happen to teammates. Then why have the end game chat at all if I shouldn't care about it, since it is from "strangers" anyway?
You died a minute into the game. I wouldn't be staying to watch a potentially long game. Dying mid game or near late game fair enough you can watch but hey you have a lot of time in your hands so you do you man. Nah I just find it absolutely hilarious that you get triggered by text written by strangers when you fully know it can go badly for you yet you still read it and get triggered when you could have just pressed continue and start the next match.
It's like you can't stop someone from staring into the abyss and that's funny to me.
-
I like the implication that you got killed a minute into the game and stayed until end game chat just to get triggered by text written by strangers end game lol.

I personally don't need it but boy does it make every random you get queued up with more efficient. They're not running around like headless chicken looking for heals, Go to the healing station deal it with yourself then hop on a generator.

To the removing of tiers, yes and amen.
But where is the correlation between more BP and the increasing tryhardness of people?
Why would the go harder when they are guaranteed more BP?
Because believe it or not not every one is carrying strongest add on in the game because it's not infinite. If every trial has double BP like everyone is asking you're going to get non stop strong add ons on each side. Getting strong add ons would be more doable and basically pays for itself each trial.
-
Giving more BP will absolutely break the game with every one bringing their strongest Add ons every match. Which I already do with Blight if I use BBQ and Chili.
They should just remove perk tiers in the blood web that's it.

16m of Wallhacks sucks when you're not Wraith moving at the speed of light lol and youre sacrificing your only counter to Hold W injured which is T3.

It does not rob you of anything. It was not meant to hit.
Before validation you got a hit which was not deserved.
What do you mean it doesn't rob you. It takes priority over the Survivor's side despite the fact that he has crappy internet. Sounds like robbery to me.
Unless BHVR makes a server that actually prioritizes the player with actual good Internet you're never convincing me that these stuff aren't robbery.

If you're talking about 7D2D yeah I like it. Played several playthroughs with it already and there's some great mods that enchances the game even further. I must warn you that the game is not for everyone you need to have some interest and patience in survival games.

Been playing 7 days to die more with the boys and spending less time with DBD and the forums so yeah I feel good in general.

You don't need a number to tell you if you're good or not lmao. That's like me saying Rank before grades were useless and doesn't actually tell whether someone is skilled or not. They just put a lot of hours in the game.
I'm struggling to figure out what do you mean by this. You don't need rocket science to figure out whether the opponents were better or you did bad. If you're someone who is self aware enough to reflect on your mistakes you would know whether you could have played better in that trial.
