Meanwhile, i'm just sitting here thinking about how absolutely mental it is that using a resolution in a video game is considered an offense worth banning for.
Yeah I don't think worth ban I do hope they do something about it to prevent it. On a game like DBD stretched res is just too good.

Face camping doesn't mean a killer is bad. In high MMR play, the only option a killer has to possibly secure multiple killers vs a strong survivor team is to hook a survivor in the middle of a 3-gen and camp the area. If you can camp the first hook to second stage then tunnel off the hook and eliminate the person from the game, that significantly weakens them and makes the match winnable.
There's a difference between face camping and patrolling hooks. Face camping literally means you're up in their face ignoring everything else.

Probably because it was easier to balance moris out, it was just a value change.
I believe keys need to be completely replaced as a mechanic.
They literally just had to change a value on Keys too.
Disable 3 escape robberies because a match actually starts when there are only 1 or two generators left. Only spawn hatch when there's one survivor but I'm generous and say two survivors and also keep the same generator to hatch spawn ratio then hatch spawns as usual when all generators are done.

Well you must the best blight in the world to find him so easy. Anyone with even a small amount of play time on blight knows hes one of the highest skill cap killers in dbd.
He's also implying he plays on Console. If most PC survivors are potatoes even more so in that platform lol.

Remember when people said Nurse is officially dead when she got a Nerf but it only proved who are the real Nurse chads and the Noob nurse mains.
Also people saying Pinhead is weak but people figuring out his hoarder/franklin is just nasty.

I think by now most players know that avoiding a camped victim is the preferred strategy, I still think that something just needs to be done to make things less miserable for the person sitting there unable to play their game.
Unless BHVR got something in mind there's just nothing you could do if a One shot killer just stand there in front of the hooked survivor.
The best thing you could do is not hand a 4K on a silver plate to the killer. Don't let him get maximum enjoyment out of playing this way.

People in here implying survivors are 'greedy' trying to save from a camping killer, I don't give a toss about points, I do however care that you're preventing someone from being able to play, or at least that's you goal, so yes, I'm willing to throw a match to at least try and get a camped survivor some extra play time.
So you ruined everyone's match instead probably pissed off since they just witnessed a killer win by just absolutely doing nothing and be a massive D the entire match?
Hell yeah.
But in all seriousness I understand that you want to save someone barred from playing but you have to understand you're not saving anyone from a face camping leatherface on a basement. You get what I mean? You made everyone on the entire survivor team eat dirt while the killer is gleeful that his dumb strat got him a 4K probably even a bunch of a salty comments in the post chat too since the killer revels in Survivor misery. He's off to do the same thing in another match again since he gets rewarded for it immensely.
-
Only change I was aware of is that you have point the flashlight more accurately compared to before where it points to where you aim it but as far as timings go. Still the same for me.
-
Run windows of opportunity to get an idea of how the tile generation works and how to use it properly. Kindred also to get that really great information for Solo Q. You can also watch some God Survivors on how they handle getting chased like Probzz really good survivor. Apply what you observed in your matches.
Practice makes perfect.

After recently losing all my progress on my killers and survivors, BHVR support was kind enough to credit my account with a lump sum of bloodpoints to get back to where I was. I want to play a few matches between trying to spend all of it, even if I can't earn BP. I just want to make sure that doing so won't reset me to the 1 million BP limit or something weird like that.
I would just be patient and empty it all first, but that's just gonna be so time consuming, especially on console. If anyone has any info on this topic I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
I think I remember your topic where you took screenshots of all your characters got reset to level 1 lol.
How much did they give you as compensation?

Why do you assume that a facecamping killer is bad? If Otzdarva facecamp is he now suddenly a bad killer? It's like saying survivors focusing only on gens is bad. Everyone can do it no matter the skills.
Probably because I went against the killer and he's trash? Are you okay?
-
I only use it for the bloodpoints but I wouldn't use it either if the Aura read was removed. It's the same reason I don't run WGLF. Wasting a slot for just money is just a pass for me.
Purely as aura read? There's better perks out there.

Then that's an issue with skill, not an issue with camping.
Kindred should help against camping.
I'm almost certain that's its purpose.
But no one runs it for some reason.
A lot of people run it actually but the altruism points makes them stupid lmao. Even then the hooked survivor with a Kindred gives everyone this perk yet they still go for those yummy save.
-
It's weird really. Otzdarva who is an above average survivor in terms of getting chased lol and this is same guy who had 7k hours iirc.
Amazing killer though.
-
I loved every indoors map except this one. First time I considered disconnecting in a DBD match ever. The map was just that unfun for me.
-
What happens if the achievements increases?
-
Why does it matter?
-
And just like every time a killer finds a perk combination that works REALLY well. It's gonna get nerfed to smithereens.

I just don't find it fun to lose 5 games in a row because the stuck me with players that are way above my skill. It seems like all the sweat come out after 7pm on na west.

But seal team 6 shows up at night.
Really don't care. My ego isn't that fragile to get demoralized by getting beat.
-
I'm fortunate enough that in my area that I basically have to play survivor in the morning and killer at night lol
-
Yeah I can't play a single game without BBQ despite there should be better perk to replace it. Missing out on the money sucks.
STBFL is a personal favorite on machete man too.

There's a time and a place for self-care. The issue starts when you prioritize healing over generators at every point in the game.
Facts. Self care is a great perk and all but it's just overused to the point that people throw the game lol

I don't remember ever feeling fear when I saw an Ebony pre-nerf.
Just "Welp, time to write this game off."
I only use Ebony like very rarely only when I'm extremely annoyed with the consecutive group of survivors with medkits that probably is loaded with insta heals and flashlight. They see the hidden offering and start panicking like chicken when I start deleting players.
-
The killer and survivor dynamic has truly been lost.
A killer bringing an Ebony Mori should strike fear on the survivor since it's the ultimate offering to the Entity just so they can dunk on the survivor but instead they just shrug it off now.
IMO Killer offerings should be really strong, the problem was the quantity and how easy it was to get these stuff. They weren't ultra rare at all lol
-
Killer perks are complained about because the players around it experienced their effects. It's why killers only complain about survivor meta perks because they're the ones who has to deal with that crap. Survivor has no reason to complain about it because it doesn't affect their gameplay negatively in fact its better for them. It's a team effort after all. This is also the reason why Self care is frowned upon, Survivor see that dirt in their eye whenever they run aura reading perks and die inside when they see a Survivor self care at the corner of the map.
How about urban evasion? People hate it because it affects their team efficiency.
There's also the fact that Killers are the power role and has their own tier/character list. Just like fighting games with their own tiers some people just have a big ego that they actively attack a person for playing this character or that character for playing a certain way.
-
Probably an hour back when hatch stand off was a thing. Ate dinner, relaxed for a bit and came back that the match is still going on lol
-
Ah yes. The good old days where infinites were everywhere, Pallets everywhere, Downed to healthy state, and the list goes on.
I am a Solo Q therefore please make me strong because I have to deal with randoms :(
I swear Solo Q boys in this game have the some amazing sense of entitlement, Wanting buffs because they have to deal with randoms like every other game with teams yet I don't see those guys wanting buffs.

stomped less experienced players while more experienced players where less affected by itBut that was the point of my post, no? Survivors advocate Nerf instead of learning basic mechanics. Ergo inexperienced survivors.
-
Revert it back and Survivors just need to git gud. Imagine getting dogged on by a 110 killer with no hatchet wind up lul

actually old ruin sucked and only stomped less experienced players while more experience players where barely affected by it
but complaints about new ruin feels way more petty since devs keep throwing out anti totem perks and people still insist on not running them.
Sucked so much hence it was Nerfed :^)
-
Survivor asking for Nerf instead of learning is not surprising by now. Old ruin's timing was so 'hard' it got changed to what it is and people are still complaining lmao.
Do totems my dudes.
-
Remember when people thought Legion's power was to be amogus.
Then it turned out to be an excuse to put killer cosmetics :^)
-
If you're a competent killer it should be really easy to get to Rank 1 since it's easier to get two pips.
Survivor side is the real problem. It's very common to get safety pip or one pip with how match goes lol.
-
I wish the game was this generous to me
-
@GoshJosh said:
Self-Care is a good perk. It allows someone to heal themself anytime, anywhere. Even more efficiently with a medkit and/or other perks. A survivor Self-Caring means another survivor isn’t taken away from doing generators or anything else. You actually save time for the team when you factor in that co-op gen speeds are less efficient than solo gen speeds.
People still need to figure this out mathematically. Coming from someone who admittedly was in the Self-Care hate camp post-nerf for the longest time.
Yes, I'm sure survivors I'm complaining about use self care to be efficient. 😱

I am playing exactly like I used to and I have never lost so much.
The purpose of MMR is to match similar skills, and with a 21 matches lose streak this is clearly not the case
can you show one match of yours? Just curious.

Not escaping as a survivor by finishing the gens and opening the doors.
I wouldn't count hatch as a win, but a draw, but I didn't even escape with hatch during this streak, just dead, dead and dead again
You don't have to escape to win. Winning is by getting a pip and you can do that even by getting sacrificed.
-
Devs can't do anything about tunneling don't even bother trying. It's just impossible to change how players play the game.
Only advice I can give you is git gud and no this isn't a joke. Killer tunnel the weak link in the group, I rarely get tunneled despite getting killers who camps and tunnels.
-
Haven't been touching the tome but that's the actual tome challenges? That's dumb and I thought first time challenges came out was dumb didn't know they could outdo themselves.

It's the new hit validation system. Basically on your screen, you see a hit and the game reacts accordingly and then goes to VAR and says LOL JK!!! and rolls back the hit. But it already played the effect and had the blood splatter so the game is hoping you don't notice.
Yeah really frustrating feeling this new validation system especially when I'm playing Wraith and going for those nasty lunges.
ffs
