Did they change how flashlights work again?

I used to be able to get flashlight saves the vast majority of times I attempted and now it just seems like they don't work anymore. Did they change the FOV at which you can blind killers or the timings of the saves recently? I know they changed them when they changed the lighting engine.

    Only change I was aware of is that you have point the flashlight more accurately compared to before where it points to where you aim it but as far as timings go. Still the same for me.

    Noticed a delay in terms of a killer being able to look away. Whether its a bug or intended its not a net negative.
