. . . what? You consider those crutches? I don't think you understand what crutch means, in this case. . .
Haunted grounds so OP, pls nurf, lol!

Exactly, this is when you commented, so you did reply to an old thread. As I said before to you "The reply before yours was August 29".

Oh boy, does this annoy me. Usually an SWF group, running multiple Blendettes with a thick fog addon, who will *always* know where you are and will roam the map like sneaky little mechanic weasels chewing on gens or breaking totems until you arrive, in which case they just vanish off into the grass.
Just had a misery of a match on Yamaoka where I lost 3 gens before I even saw a survivor.
Even Whispers can't help catch these guys - especially on maps with a lot of foliage and density.
Is there something I'm missing here? What exactly is the counterplay? Working on Undying at present and probably going to have to run this baseline from now on. Grrr.
When you see a 4 man squadette join your game.

I can't think of a survivor perk that is a crutch. However, any perk that slows the game down, provides a wallhack with simple ease, stops the opponent objective from being completed, removes objective progress, or hinders the objective from being completed are crutches. No survivor perk helps them complete gens faster or rewards them, especially in correlation to how the killer plays.
Killers have a lot of crutches and they use them every game.

It doesn't take too long, just scroll bottom of the page, click 100, and scroll down.

it was in discussions, accessible from the frontpage
maybe consider the obvious possibilities before making accusations.
I don't think it is accessible from the front page. I just went to page 100, and the furthest back it went was September 10th. The reply before yours was August 29,

I can agree with you on this deadhead is pretty crutch that's why I reframe from running it, it doesn't help my loops. I havent used DS is like a week I have been preferring object.
Bamboozle for killer it's very annoying if the map you have has not many windows and you can chain them together.
Yeah, I dislike bamboozle even as a killer main tbh. It is pretty badly designed, since it encourages killers to just vault windows, and not even attempt to mindgame them.
-
@GoshJosh said:
(Gives explosion notification to killer when survivor is rescued from cage)
So, gens and jigsaw boxes are the same, because they give the killer a notification when the survivor fails a skill check.
-
I think there are some crutches on both sides. For killers, NOED is an obvious crutch, because it rewards bad plays. Bamboozle is the "I don't know how to mindgame" perk. The enduring and spirit fury combo punishes survivors for stunning the killer.
For survivors, there is DS, which is fine if it stops tunneling, but it is a crutch when it is used against people who don't tunnel. Dead hard punishes the killer for making a good mindgame, and it feels like BS. Sprint burst is less of a crutch, but it allows the survivor to almost always be in a good position, so you can't punish them for being out of position.
There's nothing wrong with running these perks, I just understand why some people call these perks crutches.
-
Also, can we stopped invalidating someones opinion if they main one side? I've seen people get shut down just for being a survivor main, it's dumb.

Weak? The last released stats showed him at the statistically most lethal killer in the game. And the only thing that has changed since then is the rope / chains nerf which means that your average game against him is going to be like 4% faster.
The snares are / were strong enough to shut down god windows and infinite loops. The teleport allows him to drop bad chases quickly and deliver pop across the map instantly.
He is universally regarded as one of the best killers in the game and there are people who think he is weak? Do you think nurse and spirit are weak too?
According to those stats, nurse is also the weakest killer in the game.
-
I don't have to change your mind, because you're right.
-
Freddy is a pretty weak killer tbh. You can still loop and counter his snares, and his teleport isn't a big deal. However, remove the passive fallong asleep, he should have his old animation back where he had to make them sleep himself.
-
This is mine as well.
-
TTV streamers are usually the most wholesome people I've met, I always love looking at their stream afterwards to watch my gameplay over.
-
Also, Oni has scalped top knot, which is the second best addon in the game after iri head.
-
Myers is just a worse Oni.

I'm confused where you got "entitled survivor main" when he just said that you can't really reply to all of thay
The guy who azame responded to called him a survivor main, and I find it funny. I wasn't insulting azame, we are acquaintances I'm just laughing that if you main one side, you have an invalid opinion, according to some people.
-
Myers needs a complete rework in my opinion, he isn't very fun because of dedicated servers, and he suffers from power creep too much.
-
1: Remove dead hard
2: Give spirit old Freddy-type illusions for more counterplay.
3: Optimise console.

*shrugs* Being so much more situational just makes it less useful. Harder to use, yes, more skillful? Not really.
Fair enough, I'm just pointing out how it is harder to activate than the rest of the perks. But yeah, it probably isn't skilful, just hard.

If (KillerInFrontOfLocker = true)

Shift+Space;

Wow, the skill.
Well, head on is one of those perks that is quite situational, and you actually have to think about using, since it takes a second or two to activate in the locker.

How exactly do they take skill?
Sprint burst - hold run
Lithe - Look for nearest window
Balanced landing - Look for nearest drop
Dead Hard - Tap E for distance
The only one you could say is a well timed dodge with Dead Hard but most good players use it for distance which takes no skill.
Also no chases wouldn’t end too quickly. I spent hours and hours getting good. You can easily loop bad killers all game with no exhaustion perks, and last a good enough amount of time in a chase against better killers.
Not really, even a well timed dead hard doesn't take skill. The only exhaustion perk that takes skill is a well timed head on.

I've been playing Dead by Daylight for around... 7 months, or you could say since quarantine started and this is the first time I've played bodyblocker Hag.
I didn't use the typical addons, I used these;
-Scarred Hand (traps have collision)
-Swamp Orchid Necklet (Considerably reduces setting time)
I didn't expect much from the game but I trapped up some pallets and a Tapp was in a chase on a pallet I trapped. There was a line of sight blocker but I think (99,9% sure) this happened:
-He triggered my trap (couldn't get past it)
-I was in close proximity so he dropped the pallet
-I swung because I was pretty confident I would get the hit
-He vaults before my swing animation finishes
-Gets blocked by my phantasm
-My hit blocks him in
I don't really mind this, it gave me a good laugh but I wanted to post this because Tapp was probably fuming and I want to see if it's not just me

((Sorry for the poor quality - I had no idea how to take an image from my computer (i do now) so I took it from my phone but my lights got in the way
You should try bodyblocker hag on badham, it's actually disgusting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUwu0HJYWBc

Imagine if old dying light was still a thing with these obession challenges
I would use: Old Freddy with the black box add-on, an ivory mori, old dying light, and old remember me for that. Use black box to find the obsession instantly, hook them, tunnel and mori them off hook for dying light. God, I can't believe I used old dying light in such a scummy way.
-
BBQ is an amazing perk for him, because of his amazing mobility. When you hook someone you can just b-line to a BBQ aura and start a chase.
Whispers is also amazing, because it saves you so much time, and helps you get into chases faster, probably the second best perk on him after BBQ.
Infectious allows you to snowball downs very quick, and earns you tons of map pressure (note: only equip this perk if you want to slug).
Enduring allows you to disrespect pallets with the chainsaw.
-
Ever since I turned crossplay on, I have only seen 1 hacker as survivor, who was able to insta heal himself and others all the time, I made sure to disconnect and report them that match though. Crossplay has been a great experience, since I get faster queues and better games :)

I'm sure you must live a happy life judging by how often you show your passive aggressive nature in a gaming forum.
Yamaoka, you can't win with this guy, he makes everything personal, and clings onto his points, arguing is futile. Trust me, I had an argument with him earlier.

Killer: surveillance. It saves you so much time, and synergises well with ruin, surge, pop and other perks.
Survivor: hope, because that 7% extra movement speed is actually really good, and can extend loops soo much.
-
By this point, they should just buff iron will. "Survivors make no sound, at all".
