Us cruel limits fans are even more disappointed with this pitiful, pitiful number change.

Pgtw nerf isnt a big deal tbh, I usually kick a gen seconds after hooking, imo 60 seconds was too long.
Ph needed that nerf, he had no counterplay🤷
Im personally really happy with all the changes
The PH nerf was done terribly. I'm fine with giving a cool down to cancelling his power, but they should have made ROJ easier to hit, since now, a good survivor will never get hit from ROJ.

This is what i'm expecting:
- -1 second to Clown bottle reload, and reload add-ons nerfed to compensate.
- Additional gameplay mechanic for clown that makes his bottles sort of a multi-purpose tool instead of just slowing survivors down (bottles regress gens when thrown at them possibly?)
- Some add-on changes for clown (feather add-ons, extra bottles turned into something more useful, reload movement speed).
- Perk changes for Cruel Limits, Vigil, This Is Not Happening, Technician, Slippery Meat, Any Means Necessary, and maybe a couple more.
- Macmillan graphics update.
- Bug Fixes and new annoying bugs as always.
Why would they change any means necessary? That perk is in a pretty good spot right now.
-
Pretty unnecessary, I'd rather have a POV change. Also, it isn't OP, he actually has to hit it with a lethal rush now, instead of his add-on that was a bit ridiculous.
-
I used old dying light, ivory mori, and black box on old Freddy to carry me to the red/purple ranks.
-
I'm expecting some small changes to clown, a rework for Myers, small buffs to pig or a nerf to huntress.
-
Neither, the game is almost balanced, and both sides are fun for me, I like killer more though.

That's the thing though. You don't, and you can't. It's not like Object or BT. There is no indication whatsoever that it's active, until you hit postgame and go 'oh, that's why they got several gens without me even having a chase'.
You can look for nuances to deduce if the player has spine chill. You can notice that if you're looking directly at them and their vault is faster, they could have vailt build or spine chill on its own. Also, if they don't have any LOS on you and they already start running, you pretty much know they have spine chill.

They should not add a breakable wall to jungle gyms they have equal opportunity to outplay on each side including getting a hit or getting the pallet down quick. Same with shack it made no real sense to add a breakable wall.
Exactly, jungle gyms are my favourite tiles as both sides, because it's the skill that matters not "hold w with 100% visibility of the killer on autohaven cars". If they add breakable walls to jungle gyms I will be disappointed.

I’m quite happy with a majority of licenses they could grab, Springtrap being no exception. I think if he was added he could bring something really unique, plus, I’m kind of tired of the human killers again. Could use a unique change up again like a robotic killer.
The only time I think I would ever get to a “1” level is if it was Jeepers Creepers. Now THAT would make me outright quit the game.
Why would it make you quit the game?
-
Tbh, I think most survivor add-ons are good and balanced. Med kits have faster healing, styptics, syringes, more charges. Maps have aura reading for the whole team. Toolboxes have more charges, and the rest are garbage. Keys have blood amber which is the only overpowered survivor add-on in the game. Flashlights only have more charge add-ons, which are extremely boring, I'd like to see more variety.

that's like telling a survivor to mute their sound
be realistic
I mean, it isn't hard to walk to a gen without looking at it directly, if you have good map knowledge.
-
Ignore the ochido fanboys please. Anybody who still says "baby killer DOOD" unironically shouldn't be taken seriously.
-
If you know a survivor has spine chill, try and moonwalk to the gen, it works quite well.

As everyone else said, it's too big, with too many tiles to chain together. Also, scratchmarks are overwhelmingly hard to track on this map, leading to an even more frustrating experience.

Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer
Slap this on a killer, particularly a high mobility one, and you got yourself the most boosted player you will ever see.
These players do not know what pressure is to save their life. You can feed their build and try to cleanse totems to get rid of their perks, or you can just get a gen high progressed and lead them away, go back to it when they leave you (because they will) and bam, the player is exposed as the bot they are. The fact this is a build to vs almost every game is ridiculous. The calibre of player skill level in dbd is utter garbage XD this builds proves it to be that way.
Kinda funny, because in order for ruin and undying to work, you have to pressure survivors off of gens.
-
Also, not only is this perk extremely overpowered on its own (playing against it on midwich is basically unwinnable), but in a survive with friends: mindgames, blindness, trapper, hag etc are all useless.
-
Because it's a ridiculous amount of free information that you can use pretty much all the time.

I am not sure why people are so confused about his nerf.
In the old days, there were literally 2 killers at red ranks. Nurse, and Billy. Both were strong enough to deal with the abundance of safe vacuum pallets. Over time, the maps were nerfed, and the amount of pallets compared to release is maybe 1/3 of the original amount?
But meanwhile, even after the (extreme) map nerfs, you still had Billy running around with an instantsaw or crack add-ons when the original and only counter to crack billy was essentially throwing pallets non-stop.
Everyone agreed insta saw and crack billy needed nerfs, but his basekit was fine.

- BHVR did a pretty good job so far
- Mori's and keys need to be nerfed to the ground
- Best streamer is Otz
- Devs need to fix bugs
- Infinites are and were never a 'mind game' (*cough cough* Mathieu)
- Crossprogression should be a thing between consoles, PCs and every other device except mobile (I realize this is largely out of BHVR's control, but it's still something everyone wants).
- There should be fortnightly Dev streams! (Cmon, what happend?! We used to be spoilt and have one every WEEK!) :(
- We should receive feedback on player reports so that we can recognize our reports are having an impact on cheaters/griefers.
- No mither is a terrible perk
- There should be more skins in the shop that can be purchased with shards.
- Some aspects of legendary skins such as a characters head and hair that doesn't impact the rest of the body cosmetic in anyway should be mix and matchable. Killer weapons should also generally be mix and matchable in legendary skins.
- Matchmaking ranking system needs to be improved/reworked (MMR 2.0?)
I've heard someone unironically say no mither needs a nerf.

Hillbilly hasn't been fun since all the garbage they did to him. The new animations and camera, the stupid roar that drowns out every other noise at a point where you might actually need to hear footsteps of you're curving around a corner for example, and it's just plain annoying now anyway...yea Billy isn't fun at all now, he's a joke and feels like he's a new killer in beta with features that are unpolished.
Spirit and hag are kind of self-explanatory. One dimensional strategies, neither care about actually interacting with the game and with survivors and would rather do their own thing etc...
Kinda funny how she is one of the most picked killers with one of the highest (if not the highest) kill rates. Shows that not much people really enjoy playing her, she's just ridiculously broken.

Pre-rework paint brush was THE #########. Combo it with Z Block and Monitor and Abuse and you have a 3 second dream transition and 0 TR in the dream world. Run that on Lery's and watch everyone get scared.

Nobody really used Black Box. IMHO the OG Black Box was only good for the infamous Black Box + Old Dying Light + Mori "Tunnel Freddy" build where you spawn in, beeline straight for the obsession, and tunnel him with the intent to mori him to proc Dying Light as fast as humanly possible.
Ah, the old dying light, black box, ivory mori combo, that was fun. Whenever I felt pissed at the game, I would run that combo. God I miss old Freddy.

I used to be this way, I really did. It feels like the killer should be there to facilitate a fun game, keep things moving and give the survivors some good scares and thrills.
Thing is - survivors don't seem to want this. They just want to win. And so...yeah. That seems to be the game now.
Yeah, if the gens get done extremely fast, then I might resort to tunneling or camping, or if the entire team is a bully squad who just want to annoy the killer. However, if the team just seems like some casuals, who are just playing to have fun, I won't tunnel and camp.
-
Solo isn't the problem, it's matchmaking. We need a better MMR, because 4 good solos are almost as good as a swf. I would like some changes to solo, like the ability to see the other players builds, a totem counter, kindred basekit etc. Then, we can buff the killers accordingly.

Watching an interesting video Tofu made about a month ago about this sort of issue. And boy, did he nail it.
Essentially, killers are still expected to abide by an outdated code of honor, while survivors just...aren't.
If one side is going to do everything possible to win, why are killers expected not to do the same?
It would be wonderful if everyone cared more about having a fun game than winning - but that's just not the game at present. Whether it's SWF groups, smurfcomps, stompcomps, endless rounds of DS/DH/BT and at least one Blendette per game, survivors seem to want to have their cake and eat it too.
Frankly, why should I, as a killer, be expected to play by some ruleset when the other side isn't?
I try not to do any of those things, because a win feels much more satisfying when I don't mori, tunnel, or camp. I also like coming out of a match knowing people had some fun. However, if people tell you not to do any of those things, they are worse than the tunnnelers/campers themselves, nobody should tell you how to play and abide by secret rules.

Umbra speaks the truth tbh. SWF is the "I did bad, but don't want to admit my mistakes" argument. I haven't seen a real sweaty 4 man swf who all run DS+ unbreakable in a while, and most of the swf I see are just having fun, using dumb builds like breakout and MoM.

I know you weren't asking me, but I think nurse prior to her nerf was OP and needed to be toned down, but is in a good spot now.
Billy nerf was completely unnecessary he only needed addon changes.
My main problem with these killers is their lack of fun back and forth interaction between the killer and the survivor in the chase. The chase is literally what this game is about. Having a killer that is too oppressive in chase or too weak at chase is a bad design. Even if a killer is an oppressive chaser but can still be beaten by a good team by strategies that involve making the chase as boring as possible while ending the game as fast as possible, they're still badly designed because you have a killer that encourages avoidance of what makes the game enjoyable. Similar applies to killer who is too weak in chase. Might be fun for the survivor, but without much room to play with, it's very boring for the killer.
Billy didn't fit in that by any means but nurse did prior to her nerf. Post nerf it's still possible for a REALLY good nurse to fit that, but that's such a minority of players that it's not a significant problem.
Deathslinger requires nowhere near the same degree of mastery and I think the slowdown/delay huntress has makes her fine except for iri head.
Yeah, I agree, nurse was extremely busted before the nerf, but I am just questioning Sluzzys logic, because it doesn't make sense to me. Deathslinger is much harder to play than huntress, because of how much more precise you have to be, and the fact he has to reload often, (provided, you aren't just faking your power, that takes no skill, and I agree that needs a nerf), but huntress has a higher skill cap, because of her range, and how hard hitting cross map hatchets it, in my opinion. Also, I agree Billy only needed add-on changes, the nerf was unjustified.

A coordinated genrush should not be required to beat a killer. A survivor, which can be a single solo player, should feel like their time and effort invested should be able to thwart off the killer to a limited degree. A good deathslinger will take down any survivor instantly regardless of skill and that should not be acceptable.
Just curious, you thought Billy and nurse didn't need any nerfs, but huntress and deathslinger do? A good nurse will take down any survivor regardless of skill as well.

As a survivor main I can confirm those are not crutches.
They literally just named all the fair perks that reward the killer for playing well, and didn't even name NOED.
They said haunted grounds is a crutch and didn't name noed.
