I seriously doubt he'll be nerfed; he's still fairly week and relies on survivors playing horribly to do well. I'd even bet he's going to get some slight buffs.
Weak doesn't mean anything. It rides on how often they are played and how annoying they are played.
-
Lightborn doesn't prevent light burn.
-
There was an engine update this patch so expect more bugs than usual.
-
Because they really don't want variety. They want easy.
-
They did this in Payday 2 and it took the company dying to change it back.

any clue inside which one?
GameUserSettings.ini
[ScalabilityGroups]
sg.AntiAliasingQuality=0
You know what, this is still zero in my config. sg.AnimationQuality is the one resetting to 3.
-
I would like a backpack but they keep wiggling off. 😥
-
Smurfs would just get to high mmr after a few matches and would have to grind for perks again.
-
Yes, it keeps resetting to 3.
@Steel_Eyed said:
Looks like they locked the engine. They should’ve done that a year ago.
AA setting is in another ini file.
-
Have this issue too. You will shutter every once in a while. Occurred during the PTB as well.

Looks fine. He didn’t swing at DH and remember Myers has faster vaulting speed than other killers.
When in tier 3.
Even still, the killer had enough time to catch up.

Omega blink is the double range add-ons combo
In a modern standard but does not reflect what Omega Blink actually was two years ago.

Not at all
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Hex%3A_Devour_Hope
"Unlike Hex: No One Escapes Death , Hex: Devour Hope will be revealed to the Survivors upon damaging a Survivor in any way, including Special Attacks."
So stepping on a trap triggers DH?

It does. The only special attack that ignores devour hope is Plague's puke (and does it still ignore it? I'm not even sure). You're confusing yourself with noed
At 3 tokens, if the attack does not insta down the survivor, DH will not alert. Only when you start the mori does the notification goes out.

@ActualCasual said:
So here's a fair suggestion to change nurse that you will surely gladly agree with:
Her blink attacks are now special attacks. Upon coming out of a blink she has absolutely no aura reading.
Range and recharge addons are gone, as well as the rest of her addons because they largely useless and detrimental. We can come up with something to replace them later anyways.
...but she gets her old power back. 2 blinks, no recharge, at all times out of fatigue.
You people keep bringing up special attacks not realizing that Devour Hope doesn't proc on special attacks.

yes i understand the difference between a skill ceiling and a skill floor it literally doesn't change the fact that old spirit skill ceiling was tiny and she still was the 2nd strongest killer in the game
If this is about Spirit as a killer, I don't have an opinion. My original statement only mentioned Nurse, Blight, and Trapper.
-
@Zachcjjj said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2921228#Comment_2921228
thats a low skill ceiling to there wasnt anything special about a good spirit except that they had good headphones yet she was still the second best killer
The skill ceiling is the peak a killer can be played. Because a killer can be played well with little effort doesn't take away the ability to play them at a higher skill level.
-
If she gets buffed then there would be non-stop calls to nerf her.
-
No, bc they will ######### it up.

Ok here,

that's just not even true old spirit was braindead easy and was the 2nd best killer in the game
That would be a low skill floor. Easy to pick up without much practice.

Well, give me your MMR, because I only see this killer and I can't take it anymore.
Sure, let me pull it up.... oh wait.
-
Low skill ceilings implies a lack of efficiency no matter how well you play them.
What you're looking for is lowest skill floor. A killer that takes little practice to play efficiently. Skill ceiling is the peak which one can do with a killer.
High skill ceiling would be killers like Nurse and Blight but also they also have high skill floors as it takes practice to even play efficiently.
Trapper would be an example of low skiller floor as is a basic M1 killer and it doesn't take much to trap pallets and window. At the same time Trapper can have a fairly mid to high skill ceiling as players learn better trap placements in tune with survivor movements. What limits him is what limits most M1 killers, map design.

We know the song.
Why do you think you only have SWF ? SoloQ is even worse than the Killers situation. So, yeah, sorry. When you can only play an hour from time to time and you only meet Nurses, who moreover use add-ons bordering on doping, don't come and tell me that I have to pity the killers.
I play soloQ and the biggest issue I have are teammates giving up on their first down and it has nothing to do with Nurse because I rarely see her. When I do see her, my team at least tries. It's other killers they constaintly throw against.
SoloQ would be much better if survivors actually played the game they queued for.

You're showing the wrong green addon.

I'm running into a lot of killers with wall hacks. They're taking predictive pathing that makes zero sense without wall hacks or insane 500 iq game sense. Then you check their hours and they somehow have 200 hrs and really good mechanics. Like they had a previous account and lost it for some reason.
Yes, some reason 😉

I do. He was played a lot.
I was actually sick of vsing him at one point but now I miss the old one.
Funny how that works.
Because people want variety and will complain about anything thats commonly played.
In a few days Legion post will flood the forum and eventually die off when killers go back to their normal mains.

Where are you finding these killers? I have a couple challenges that require being near the killer for a set time.

It's never coming back
-
I was just accused of cheating a couple days ago because I looked down while this survivor tired to flashlight blind me.
-
There are DCs againt every killer. I have more teammates DC in the first 3 minutes against low tier killers than I face high tier killers.
-
🤣 No. The reason for DS is the very reason you chased them to that locker. You made the choice of chasing them and it didn't work out like you planned.

Alright. Lemme just play a killer I have never touched before... how about twins. What's taht - a 10k hours lobby? How comes that?
How many hour do you have in general? Do you forget everything about the game after picking a new character?

They changed the input. If you hold m1 mid blink you will lunge first frame available. It's a relatively recent and intentional change.
They fixed an issue where she couldn't swing after coming out of a blink. Also you need momentum to lunge like Hag after teleport.
-
3-4k hour players are not uncommon with a game nearly 6 years old. Idk how long you expect to play with noobs but once you crush enough you'll have to start playing against more experienced players.
-
Everyone knows Meg is the root of all evil.

EDIT: for the people that are saying you cant tell people how to play the game, they can play however they want. Go read the description of dead by daylight on steam, google, wherever, you will find that nowhere in the description does it tell you to farm or anything of the sort. Also, if you can play how you want, then why do hackers get banned? They're just playing how they want to play. And I guess that means I can go be as toxic as I want right? No, because being toxic is discouraged. Just like farming should be. You can do it, but why? Why ruin someone elses game?
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed.
🤔 Where does it say I have to kill? Only says survivors need to avoid being killed. If the killer is farming they survive, no?
Are you really using hackers to strawman? When people say, "play how you want" they clearly mean within the confines of the game.
guess that means I can go be as toxic as I want right? No
Yes, you can be as toxic as you want to be or play ultra nice and not kill.

@Bwsted said:
DH is heavily nerfed against her since they recently changed her lunge.
I suggest you play m1 on gens instead.
Nothing has been changed about her lunge in years. Its the same as every other killer.
-
All perks should be basekit.
-
A sweaty killer lord without NOED or BBQ?
-
Not as strong as she was prior to DH.
-
You don't have to kill a single survivor to pip up to Gold IV. By that time your MMR is so low you can stomp your way up to Iri.
Not to mention you can lose pips without going down a grade. Meaning you can tank your MMR with each grade level and get easy matches for 5 pips.
-
Oh, a streamer talked about this. Thats why someone posted about it yesterday.
Good job though, not exactly easy to pull off.
-
People would find something else to complain about.

The 30 day average updates every day, it would seem.
Just saying if an active account is ban, that isn't subtracted from the player statistics at that point in time but needs to be aged out.

Steam charts are hourly. You can view by hour if you filter down to the 48 hour period for instance.
Yeah, but they count the number of people playing. If an account got zap this month the chart won't refect that player loss until next month.

Did this with Billy. I used a meme build that incentivize breaking totems.
Hex: Plaything
Hex: Pentimento
Hex: Retribution
