no, you can follow there inconsistent low volume sounds of there footsteps.
Not if the chase music has anything to say about it.
-
You lose collision on hit.
I'm assuming this complaint applies to basement hooks. In which case the stairways need to be looked at. Not a change that only affects a single perk.

So why don’t they say he was nerfed due to complaints and not the stats..
Misdirection
-
There's too much information in this game to spell out everything. Give a new player a two inch thick book on how to play and it will end up being ignored. That's why games these days have fan run wiki's to collect useful information for other players.

More annoying

You can still follow their footsteps.
🤣🤣🤣
-
It reminds me of an old line.
Turn the page. Wash your hands.
20 pts to whoever gets that reference.
-
LIAR!
-
Its not kill rate.
Its complaints. Everyone knows that.
-
😭 Basekit! 😭
How dare you make survivors burn a perk to counter a killer's perk.
Have some compassion.
-
I guess all Freddy OP threads will disappear now.
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah we know they won't.
-
Nice meme
-
To be fair it was originally an idea from the community.
-
The new Iri was made to be used with the old Iri. It doesn't have much use other than that.

Still, don't you agree that 90 seconds is more than enough to escape a chase against a regular killer and go and heal?
With no scratchmarks and blood in combo with other perks? Yeah

I though that was going to get removed because of its new effect. The perk would be completely broken otherwise if you bring a MedKit with Self Care or Built to Last.
They are cutting the timer in half.
-
The terror radius requirement is out. Every 30s you will see the killer and they will see you, even in a chase.
That's the only "downside" to the perk and only if you are the obsession. Non-obsessions get free aura reading.

It was never "abused". It was working as intended. Explain to me how this is in any way the same thing as Decisive Strike.
Use is abuse. 😉
-
Is lucky break only useful once? The timer is global and caries over if you heal. If you have a medkit you can use the perk several times.

Oh believe me, I am:)
Maybe, if I actually see soul guard being used.

When the Devs say
more fun and interactive
Be afraid, be very afraid.
-
Devs are just low-key saying the game is dying.
-
Devs clearly want both iri's to be used at the same time.
In reality, they'll never be used outside a meme build for some streamer.
-
I only care when it turns out they weren't streaming. I like to watch the other perspective after a match.

Well you hit awake surivor they run for the gate blocked hooked bloodwarden they get off the hook hit someo eelse or them and another down I do think 10s is short tho mb 15
10s is the time it takes to walk from the entrance to exit. A wasted addon, really.
-
Basically, the one shot hatchet requires the new Iri to be viable.

OoO is going to be annoying.

yet killers camp tunnel and bring moris to get easy wins especially with stealth and insta down killers..... making hatch spawn faster then complain when survivor/s escapes go figure
Time to update your copy paste.
Mori's are dead.
-
You think DH for distance is bad because you believe the survivor would of played the same without it.
IMO, Sprint burst is worse. Complain about iframes? Sprint burst is like one big iframe window. Gen in the open? No problem, just Sprint burst away to the nearest jungle gym.
At least you get into a chase with DH users. A lot of SB players will jet off at the slightest hint of a heartbeat. Really annoying with large maps.
-
Yes, MMR is tracking individual killers but that is the result of the match. Right now, MMR is not used for match making. So the inability to switch killer isn't directly due to the MMR system.
The reason why is indirectly due to the MMR system. In order to switch killers in the lobby, the Devs have to create a patch and push it out to all platforms. The MMR system can be enabled or disabled at the backend.
So in order to test the MMR system without pushing out updates, the Devs decided to disable killer switching in lobbies.
-
No need if the map is Lery's. Victor glitches far through the floor when attached to a survivor.
-
Discordance
-
The issue with this post is that it wants a passive perk. The only reason someone wants an Obsession is to make the killer believe there's a perk in play and play around it.
To me thats bad game design.

Camping is an exploit.
It wasn't intended by the devs. They just happened to allow since it'll cause all the ruckus by the community.
Just like T-bagging is an exploit and moon-walking is.
Bubba was meant to be a one-shotable killer like Hillbilly, but people started to exploit that and devised a dumb strategy to camp.
Like I said, just because the devs allowed it to be "viable" it doesn't mean it's an intended result. Get that straight.

Here is a definition of Exploit from Merriam Webster:
"to make use of meanly or unfairly for one's own advantage"
CAMPING IS AN EXPLOIT OF THE GAME'S DESIGN.
Got that now?
Geez now I must pull out the definition of words for yah? Just because you don't understand?
I specifically mentioned that Bubba was never intended to be a camping meme during his development.
Players, however started to exploit his capabilities and thus the whole camping Bubba started.
Teabagging is the same.
It's supposed to be used as a crouch mechanic and yet people started to use it as a toxic mean.
That's an exploit of the developer's game design.
Devs did state that camping and tunneling are viable, but they did say that it's not an optimal game decision. Meaning they have negative viewpoints about them.
Sheesh.
Perks are exploits
-
If a perk is used a lot the community assumes its OP.

I know, and nobody stated otherwise. In the case of OP I guess he just finds playing that way more enjoyable.
Perfectly fine.

You can get reported for anything.
Doesn't mean its taken seriously.

Yeah, yeah, "no such thing, play as you want". Some people enjoy playing in a way which is enjoyable for everyone even if it comes at the cost of efficiency.
Thats a choice not a rule.

Nah man, billy was stronger back then, he had so many techs to fly through the skies and get places he shouldn't be. Nurse had more blinks back then but they were much shorter distance, they'd be easier to counter. Plus old billy had speed and insta saw builds so he could work around those loops.
Depending how far back you go, there was no Nurse.
Gens back then were 70s none regressing. You tell me a Billy can down 4 good survivors before they can pop 5 gens with the amount of BS was in the game back then?
No sir, survivors were lazy af back then. They wised up every time something broken was taken away. Give it all back and 0K would be the norm.
-
Killer what now?

@LazyPayday said:

That's just because we're all used to the game now, a billy main going back 5 years could destroy even the best group of survivors. Hell even Nurse who wasn't all that great back then in my opinion would be able to destroy.
Nope, Billy wouldn't stand a chance. Nurse, depending on the survivors.
Vacuum pallets, any angle fast window vaults. Double pallet jungle gyms. Old jungle gyms. Actual infinites.
Nurse only has a chance if the survivors don't hold M1. Remember, no gen regression.
-
What buffs would killers get?
-
Take a good survivors from today and place them in a version 5 years ago. The killer wouldn't stand a chance.
-
Entity want sacrifices.
