You know what else isn’t fun? Being matched with rank 17 teammates when I’m rank 6. They do nothing!!! This matchmaking is garbage.
Yeah try being a rank 12 killer getting nothing but full red rank survivor lobbies for over a month the only reason I haven't left yet is I've spent too much $ on this *#@$ game already

I'm saying that I would quit the game because devs who aren't willing to implement changes they feel are necessary because of a whining community is not a game that's going to thrive. I want no part in that. If you were good enough at reading comprehension you would notice that the my claim isn't the same as what I'm calling people out for. I called out stupid people for quitting over changes and a game they have no understanding of. That's in no way the same as someone quitting because the devs showed they don't have a backbone and aren't willing to do what they think is best for a game

This is the only way they can get players into games, by collecting players of all levels and shoving them into lobbies.
While I agree it is not fun and perhaps unfair to pair players of huge rank gaps into the same lobby . . . How long do you currently wait for a lobby of these mixed ranks (as survivor, killer is nearly instant)?

8 minutes . . .
Imagine if you were to wait for a full lobby of ranks within 1 - 2 ranks of your own.

Yes, it's my opinion that the match making system is NOT broken. And also why there is talk about there no longer being ranks shown on the end game screen with this next update. To hide the very reason why this topic keeps coming up.
As some mention the very existence of SWF ruins match making potential considering there is no rank gap restrictions a rank 1 with a rank 20 should never be matched with a killer as either the killer or the low rank survivor will have an unfair, not fun experience.
Conclusion . . .
Enjoy the random matchmaking and even when you cannot see ranks anymore know the same kind of match making will continue. Only you won't be able to post screenshots to complain about it anymore.
It will solve their problem of having to listen to your problem. Enjoy the game!
What a slimy response to a VERY REAL problem! Imagine your survivor que times when all the low rank killers leave. And it's still noticable with rank hidden. Killers are complaining because of the SKILL GAP it's like putting high school football players against NFL players. Try thinking instead of trying to insult less skilled players.

I have the exact same problem green rank killer facing nothing but full red rank teams. Don't work they got a solution they are just going to HIDE all ranks now so yea. Bub bye DBD the end isn't far away just watch players will be leaving in droves at least all the newer ones

You're right. I'm a Green rank fighting Red ranks all day every day. Of course i'm going to be bad at dealing with them. This game hasn't been fun for me since I hit greens because of this issue. It's just not fun at all.
I feel your pain PS4 rank 12 killers getting full red rank lobbies then getting pushed around. Once they realize you are high rank and new they will try on purpose to get you to DC another notch on their bully belt

I love playing as and against Ghost Face. He is fun and unique. I like playing as him because I don't have to play the loop game. That is also why survivors don't like playing against him I think. Learn to counter his many play styles.

I came on here to make a post about the exact same thing I'm a green rank killer and I've been constantly getting NOTHING but RED RANK survivors for weeks!!! It's infuriating! I get bullied constantly. I can't get out of green because of this bhvr needs to fix this NOW it's not fair. I am pulling my hair out! And before any red rank survivor mains say " get gud " put the shoe on the other foot. How would you feel if it was you? I personally know of 25 or more ppl in my dad community on PS4 that have quit because of the bullying! It needs to stop and this needs to be fixed. IDK about a longer que as long as it's somewhat fair. I should be facing high purple at MOST period.

Isn't it weird though that these guys almost constantly 4K stomp, but they often find themselves complaining how OP the Survivors are almost constantly? I just find it weird to watch them win without much effort and then turn around and cry when a Survivor briefly uses something (like Dead Hard) to get away and suddenly they are complaining. Then they 4K anyway.

When I play survivor this is what happens to me. I only use them for a daily. Unless it's a new killer then I only use it on death hook. IMO they should be only cosmetic as in only usable on death hook

if the survivors are not toxic and weren't potatoes i will let the last one go but I will close the hatch first ( points ) then let them open the gate. However that is my generosity for a well played game otherwise I slug 3rd and kill all

Corrupt intervention. I've been using it instead of ruin at least it's guaranteed to last 2 min it's worked so far purple ranks.
And to the main post: Honestly if I use bbq now it's just for bp. Ruin and bbq are so easy to counter suck it up like everyone else I don't come in here and whine about keys something that can be found in a chest and give a free escape when they 3 gen themselves. Just suck it up

Definitely the chase music! It was so nice to not have chase music blasting in my ears while I'm on a survivor. Oh to hear them running and grass moving when they try to sneak up for a flashlight save. It was definitely my favorite month in DBD

I feel the exact same way can't get past rank 8 and I'm usually around 11. The teasing and bullying has gotten so bad as of late I barely have the fortitude to do my dailys before I go to another game. I'm PS4 as well and those survivors are sooooooo toxic well most of them

The highest ranked person in my comment would be the one in red ranks for example.
Reaching the lower ranks (red) means you are the highest ranked player in an SWF.

Absolutely not! It should go off the lowest rank survivor. 3 man swf 2 red ranks and a green should play red rank killer NOT green. You wonder why swf's get dodged. The average rank of the group is much more fair. Even though I think it should match with lowest rank survivor. But matching to the highest will be abused to the highest.

I don't consider it scummy to down someone when the unhooker dips and the unhooked is alone with nowhere to go. I'm not going to just IGNORE an injured survivor. No the scummy thing is pushing past a body blocking teammate to down the unhooked. Sorry but downing someone to gain pressure without killing them is a win win, if their teammates want to pick them up. I do treat ppl the way I want to be treated. That's why I don't tunnel or camp, however I'm not gonna let survivors do whatever the hell the want and get away Scott free either! If it's not made up rules it's scummy lol

But a killer just standing there watching a rescue about to occur without ANY attempt at genuine intervention for the sole purpose of immediately hitting and re-hooking the rescued survivor, TWICE, is just #########.

When this happens to me and I'm killer. I will down the unhooked if easily done while attacking the unhooking Survivor. However, I wouldn't rehook you right away I would go after the unhooking survivor. If your teammates want to get off gens to pick you up I'm ok with that. That is how that situation plays out when I'm killer
