Month ago I started to use Deliverance as I got bored to "1 hook death hook!"
Only to realize its rank reset and all my team mates leave as soon as exit gates are open, making me unable to use Deliverance + DS combo to save myself from my first hooking as I just went for 1:1 trade to save my fellow team mate from certain death.
This is happening at r10, last months r1's.

DS doesn't work with Deliverance anyway. Doesn't matter.

Yes it does. You just can't heal. It's actually happened to me as killer.
