Either I farm with you or if I don't feel like it, I point at the hook and probably expect a teammate to unhook me for BP until I die and move on to the next game.
-
The range is too large, I dislike how they can place a Boon over Hex perks, I hate how perks like NOED or Plaything won't take priority over Boons (which is NOT fair). I dislike how they can spam them as many times as they want, I hate how their effects stack, I dislike how all Survivors can see all Boons at all times always.
Hex's by sheer contrast look like pieces of #########, it's not even a competition or fair.
-
The Camper is the most fitting, Jason and Crystal Lake go hand in hand.
-
Sometimes you wanna test the outfit before you buy it, see it in motion. Test drives exist for a reason, people.
-
Playing all at once? Not likely no, but it definitely has over a million players who hop on and play at different times.
-
Rest in piss, won't be missed. Bringing a key only showed you were a bad player anyway, and I loathe teammates who just hatch camp, such a boring and awful experience.
-
All of them lol
-
They've needed to increase the amount of bloodpoints we get for awhile now, playing Survivor for 20k points a match is peanuts.
-
Wraith. Total invisibility is kinda hard to beat. As long as Myers and Ghostface can be seen, Wraith is the stealthiest Killer. His power has no cooldown either.
-
It happens so rarely that frankly most people probably don't even know it exists.
Plus it's funny to run Flashbang and get lucky by having a perk that somewhat counters Wraith
-
Probably not no, it's still a Hex and will be cleansed at the beginning like 30% of the time.
Working on Killer powers is cool, but how many actually benefit from this? Trickster will likely be nerfed, doesn't work with Plague's vile purge, Bubba and Billy will just instadown you, Oni it could be cool on, basically on any M1 Killer it's good, and it will be good until it's cleansed and then like every other Hex it will be useless.
So, it went from a 3/10 to like a 7/10, which is not bad but frankly I don't ever plan on using it.
-
Broken
Massive distance, seen by all Survivors always, can have 4 on the map, can be constantly relit and recycles, allows free fast healing and completely makes you untraceable besides blood and moans if you have both perks equipped.
They are broken, and are already likely going to be banned in tournaments.
Even now, if only 1 Survivor brings these perks, the rest can run all meta and gain the benefits in a strong area that has a totem, a far totem in a corner away from gens where anyone can go and heal and the Killer will have never known they were there because their scratch marks aren't there.
They are broken, they shouldn't be able to be relit, the area they cover is too big, Survivors shouldn't be able to see them at all times, they shouldn't be able to bless Hex's, and Killer should also be able to destroy totems. EVEN THEN they may still be too strong because it is 16 perks vs the Killers 4.
If they go live as they currently are, I am not playing Killer until it is fixed. Easiest decision of my life.
-
Increase the exhaustion from 40 seconds to 60.
-
I'd rather they run that than Decisive/Borrowed/Unbreakable/Dead Hard so... by all means buff away
-
I had an idea of maybe a small icon being added to the game that glows a certain color depending on Killers range in terms of terror radius.
Green if you are outside of it, Yellow when Killer is near, Red when VERY near. Stealth Killers do not proc this, it is entirely Terror Radius dependent.
-
Or you can just not hide in a locker, sit on a gen without paying attention, or cleanse a totem without paying attention.
Pay attention.
-
He is not a 1v4 Killer, he would need a complete rework. His 1v1 was busted but the nerfs are a bit much, I only agree with his terror radius being nerfed and his free zoning from aiming down sights being nerfed. Everything else is a bit too much or simply not needed at all.

You're either a survivor main, or haven't been playing the game for very long.
We haven't even tested it yet. Boon Totems are still a bad idea but if the perks aren't too strong then whatever, but we need to at least see how Slinger is now. Spirit sucks and isn't fun to play against at all and can be F tier for all I care lol, cheap easy win Killer.

What did you like, or what was it they're doing that you think is amazing?
The frequency and willingness to make many changes at once, mostly for the better. The only Killer changes I disagree with is Slinger, he got nerfed too hard but we should let them know. I love tons of addon changes, I love weaker perks being buffed so we can have more build diversity, I love the changes to Hatch and Keys. If you don’t like something let them know, but I would MUCH rather have this than the Cenobite PTB where only him and Nemesis get changed.

it's okay threads like these will continue to motivate the devs into nerfing every single killer because survivors got angry because they couldn't 1v1 the killer. Spirit only needed a notification for phasing. deathslinger didn't need touching. but no they have to go with the double hammer and double nerf the killers. but "great job devs" say the survivor players and apologists.
Bro the Slinger changes are a bit too much but why are you crying?? Submit feedback and tell them it’s too much. That’s the point, it’s a test. This is a GOOD update, massive addon changes, buffs to weak Killers, Hatch finally being somewhat fixed, and tons of perk adjustments. Not all of it is great but let them know then, and stop being a baby!

You guys must be very low MMR survivor mains and I've never cringed so hard in my entire life reading this nonsense. People like you praising these balance decisions will be the reason this game dies. You think nerfing Deathslinger like that is a GREAT decision? The guy wasn't even that good in the first place and that's how he gets treated? A joke. Absolute joke. The only people to defend these changers are low MMR survivor mains who apparently can't achieve skill in anything they do so they have to be hand fed everything in their life. It took a year for the developers to add a few seconds on opening a hatch, a YEAR. The only good thing I see is the fact that multiple survivors can't escape now through hatch which was just stupid a broken in the first place. Plague buffs? Barely anything, you still won't see her because she's awful. At least at higher MMR you won't see her, seeing as she will be destroyed by anyone who is decent and knows how she works, and what to do against her. Lets not even talk about survivor perk buffs and boon totems, as if killers are the one that need another objective and not survivors. I can't wait for VHS to release, that's all I can say. The VHS developers must be rolling on the floor laughing, watching the DBD developers destroy their own game. Survivor mains keep praising this type of balance changes, when there is no killers left to play this imbalanced mess, you can enjoy sitting in a lobby having all that fun.
Cool story bro
-
The mechanic likely still isn't perfect but MAN these changes are juicy and sweet.

I was hoping to see someone post something like this because I wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE it. Literally no sarcasm, just honest to Entity a VERY good job so far (I had to add a lil sumsum’n in there to top M. Cote) ;p
Its impossible to please everyone since that’s life but mmmyyyy Entity these dev notes for future updates are the closest I’ve ever seen to quad iridescent.. well played.
The ONLY potential issue I have is Slinger maaay have been a bit overnerfed, depending on his addon changes, but aside from that it's SOOOO GOOD. I'M WAITING VOMMY MOMMY YOU GOT A NEW PEP IN YOUR STEP.
-
Amazing, fantastic, incredible. This is better than a homerun, this is a milestone. If you keep this up, expect very good things for this game.
-
None of this would even matter if DBD's anti cheat was better.

You can not allow them to play a team game if they are going to quit. There are plenty of games that do that. Like, you are acting like you are entitled to play a team game while also saying you can't make someone play if they don't want to. If you don't want to, play something else, and don't screw your team over. That's all this is.
I understand your frustration but all I am hearing is that people who want to play the game will now be stuck in games with Hackers and 3 vs Killer because someone ate the DC penalty. Wasting peoples time is not a healthy way to operate a game, if they unalive themselves early, give Survivors some compensation or something, if they die within the first 2 minutes pop a gen or something.
-
...None? None of these manga are very scary really, creepy at best.
Manga and Anime unless stylistically butchered would never fit in DBD. No, I really doubt anyone would really enjoy running away from Trapper as Dwight next to fuggin Edward Elric or Eren Jeager.
If you want it that's fine, but I would at best maybe want some outfits or something.
-
You cannot force someone to play if they simply do not want to, ban this and next thing that will happen is they simply AFK and do nothing.
Is it not fun? Yes. Can you unalive your self on hook and move on to your next game pretty quickly? Also yes
-
Bad balancing. That's pretty much it, it took Trapper 3+ years to be able to carry 2 traps by default and have 6 always spawn.
Meanwhile Nurse LITERALLY ignores every loop. It makes no sense, I sincerely hope with this update and part 2 being teased that more frequent changes to Killers and Survivor/Killer perks will finally be a thing.
25+ and only 1-2 receiving updates per PTB is just not good at all. It simply is not enough. I like the direction we are headed but it's up in the air entirely if this will happen more, so PLEASE praise the Devs for this update if part 2 is just as good as they say.
-
No I am saying the opposite. It is silly how crouching at a window and such keeps it from hitting you, but oh well.
-
Crouch. If it's about a window or around head to chest level, crouch before he whips you. It honestly shouldn't be a thing at all but it is so, yeah, crouch.
-
Disarming traps should come with a difficulty skill check. You are LITERALLY sticking your hand into a bear trap, you deserve to be punished if you mess up!

I'm all for buffing weaker perks but distortion is a dangerous one.
If you buff it to much and everybody starts using it you make a lot of perks worthless.
You'll end up with another perk like decisive and unbreakabill that affect the game whether they are equiped or not.
Very few people will take the risk of using aura perks if a reasonable possibilty exist they won't do anything.
Man if people start trading Unbreakable or Decisive for Distortion, BY ALL MEANS buff it to the tippity top. Perk variety is GARBAGE at high level, if that can make then take off Dead Hard or Iron Will so be it.
-
Corrupt and Deadlock. Works like a charm.
-
Getting high MMR just to get shitstomped by competent SoloQ/SWF with all meta perks, medkits, OP map offerings for bad Killer maps like RPD, Haddonfield, etc is the polar opposite of fun.
I understand some may see this as Killers wanting W's handed to them but I mean come on, there is so much garbage at high level play the Killer has to deal with, it is actually very stupid and not fun at all. People want to play a game, not get steamrolled or be forced to sweat their balls off just to get clicked and tbagged.
It's just not fun. High level Killer isn't fun, DBD is sadly not a balanced game at high level. With stuff like Boon totems coming this is not changing either, apparently. Killers gain new objectives whereas Survivors can mindlessly power through Gens without a thought going through their mind while the Killer is eating pallets on The Game like a fat kid in a cookie store.

Thats what I'm saying. Even after the nerfs Nurse is still the strongest.
The Spirit will be much the same. People saying they'll quit because they can't play overpowered killers as they once were are massively overreacting.
The issue is most Killers are underpowered. Nurse would be far more tolerable of top Killer diversity was actually better, instead of seeing the same 3/4 Killers every game. I'm not saying she SHOULDN'T be nerfed, but I'd much rather see buffs before anymore nerfs. Spirit was special because she was, besides maybe Hag, the least pleasant Killer to play against.

>Minimal players actually play Nurse.
>Spirit nerf will only drive away braindead players.
The only nerf I would find problematic is Blight.
But like... this post makes no sense, because Nurse WAS nerves. And she was barely affected in terms of her effectiveness.
Nothing in DBD is, will be, or was stronger than Omega Blink Nurse. Not even close. She is NOTHING compared to what she used to be and she is still the uncontested strongest Killer in the game, with Spirit and Blight closely behind.
-
The problem is map sizes and Survivors only having to focus on Generators. If we adjusted some of the biggest maps and added a secondary objective for Survivor, it'd make Killer much more pleasant.
Instead we are getting Hex's but for Survivors... I just don't know man. It's not a bad idea but in the current state of the game it's close to the worst thing the could add.
-
MANY Killers would quit. We don't need nerfs besides Spirit, every Killer nearly needs some form of buffs.
-
The rule of being a bully is to pick on those who can't do you any harm. SWF toxic bully squads go against chill Killers or people trying new Killers/or are simply new players in general, stomp them in game, and then act like they won Olympic gold.
Their tune changes real f$%#in quick when the Killer stomps them in return, not so cool and confident anymore... what a bunch of chumps.
-
If Killers had proper individual MMR like they SAID they would it would be fine. But they don't so it's not. I think if you reach very high MMR with one Killer besides Nurse, that indicates you have a proper understanding of the game at least. So other Killers SHOULD be somewhat in your max threshold, but not to the degree they are currently at. The difference should be 400 or something, an 1800 Trickster should have others at around 1400
-
He'll probably still be bad, but probably not the worst. I'd give it to Clown, Pig, or Ghostface now. But of course we have to see the addon changes.
-
Blame the game for not being balanced. Killers play nice and 3 gens pop, Killers play in an unfun way and Survivors lose and come to complain on forums.
Maps are too big, Survivors have 0 secondary objectives, Killers are forced to waste time dealing with very strong loops, countless pallets on maps like The Game, have to break down doors to make some loops even remotely fair, soon they will have to hunt Boon totems.
All Survivors have to do is Gens. That is all. As long as that remains, the game is not changing.
-
Brutal needs a buff tbh, it's increased breaking speed is pretty lackluster imo
-
Will probably unlock it and run it with Fixated+Sprint Burst, sounds really fun
-
I don't like how Survivors have a cap on how much you can stalk them. Makes it unfun to play against hyper immersed players who do nothing but hide all game.
-
Vigil, Sprint Burst, Fixated, Iron Will
-
Game is honestly ugly and the Killers/Monsters or whatever look kinda dumb. The game is leaning WAY too heavily on the 80's vibe too.
-
Man how rough is this game, so many crashes... especially when there's RPD, Haddonfield, Midwich, etc offerings... hehehe ;)
-
Give SoloQ HALF of Kindred. You should be able to see teammate auras, but not the Killers for free.
