I'm on PS4 Pro. It stays off for the session, not forever. It always returns to Autoplay on.

One of the reasons of the face reworks were to bring all models to the same technical level for maintenance, animations, future changes etc. They can’t just take the old faces and put them in without effort on bringing them to the same level.
besides that, like what was said before, the license holder might very well be against inclusion of the old face.
also he didn’t look sleep deprived. I know that this was the goal for old Quentin, but it was poorly executed and that face didn’t even look human. I understand that you are used to it and all. But looking at it objectively it just didn’t look good in any way. And he was never meant to look like the actor. Actually they probably tried to not get the actors likeness because of his statements on social media.

F13 is imposible, there is still license problems. And i am sure Disney will not make this problem. Because they are supporting game sector. I am sure they can make deal for Alien. DbD has some problems but it is still most popular horror pvp game.
There are rumors that F13 lawsuit is coming to an end.
if those turn out to be true they might be already negotiating with the rightful license owner to make things happen quickly

They said in the anniversary stream they are focusing on fine tuning newly released killers instead of reworking older ones.. so don’t expect any major reworks in the next months.

As for Myers, he is the only one with the different amount of Add-ons compared to the usual amount each killer has:
Every killer has 4 common - 5 uncommon - 5 rare - 4 very rare - 2 ultra-rare add-ons while Myers has 3 common - 6 uncommon - 5 rare - 4 very rare - 2 ultra rare add-ons. I know they have confirmed he is getting an add-on pass before but I can't find it, however his add-on rarities don't match up to everyone elses so you could assume he will definitely get one soon.

Sure, but we do get new collections from time to time.
there are New Lunar year cosmetics, Halloween, Winter/Christmas holidays, the Greek mythology stuff came just last year.

That’s called headcanon and is always possible and will always be.
but what does that have to do with this topic at all? Sexual orientation, relationships, genders etc were pretty much always a part of this game. And with the amount of lore which gets deeper and deeper it’s to be expected that something not heteronormative would get mentioned officially in-game.
so why do you want to tell people - including the creators themselves - they shouldn’t care?

It’s a game, a medium in which the creators can express what they want and they can tell the story’s and create the characters they want.
the creators care, many people in the community care about lore, let them care if it is important for them. There is no harm in doing so, the opposite actually, good representation can help.

There definitely were homophobic comments. Nothing implied Jake would be another character with no lore other than „he is gay“, as he already had established lore without any mentioning and the thread itself was speculation as the tome story was all about that topic.
i am not saying the person is a complete homophobe. But they made more than one homophobic comments. I have read those.

There was no misunderstanding.
jake never was confirmed to be heterosexual so even if the tome story would imply or confirm he is gay it wouldn’t have changed anything, just added new info about the character. Which is the entire reason for the time story’s to exist. Giving more lore/background to the characters.

Refine Megs, Kates and Aces animations. Maybe make Fengs jaw not as masculine. Otherwise I am fine with the changes, besides obvious issues like some of the hats clipping..

You can’t decide that. That’s up to the devs and the license holder.
i am pretty sure the devs said they leave the game for good. Of course they could make new negotiations and start the work again, but there is currently no reason to believe that, as the lawsuit was also just partly a reason why the game died.

Eris, goddess of strife and discord, for Julie (Legion); Ares, god of war and brother/companion of Eris, probably for Frank.
Hygieia, goddess of health, for Plague.
Zeus, as the god of Thunder, could make sense for Doctor, maybe with a lightning shaped weapon.

the game doesn’t get supported anymore. Partly due to the legal issues.
Also, BHVR has already stated Jason will always be welcome in DbD (once the lawsuit is settled) and for such a big iconic franchise, it doesn’t make sense to make him a legendary skin. The license-holder won’t be satisfied with just a skin, as that doesn’t get as much attention as a new chapter as well as money.
we already have similar killers that are distinct enough to one another (Hillbilly and Bubba to name the most obvious one).

The reason why I don't think it can be a Goddess based on the name is that one of my college classes on Greek myth stressed that sorceresses were not Goddesses, and we should never mix the two up. Though now that you mention it, Circe was both a sorceress and a minor Goddess.
Either way, I still don't think that it's Achlys. She does work for the poison aspect and a possible connection to scorpions, but she wouldn't be able to hide her misery and create a "false sense of serenity." Nurse's outfit honestly feels like it may be a mix of multiple mythological figures because no one sorceress or Goddess can account for everything we can see.
Yeah, that’s what I am thinking as well.. but she would be the only one in the collection not based on a single mythological character and that would be weird..

Both Jeff and Blight are pretty obvious. Prometheus gave fire to humanity and got punished by having a bird eat his liver once a day, as can be seen on Jeff's shirt. The name of Blight's outfit just gives away the fact that he is Charon, plus he's got the coin motif for the toll shades had to pay to board Charon's boat.
Kate is obviously a muse, but it's a little hard to tell which one. I don't think it's Erato, however, since she dealt mainly with erotic poetry. I think Kate's is either Terpsichore or Euterpe, and I'm leaning more towards Euterpe. The description for the outfit mentions composing melodies and the description of the shirt has Kate writing lyrics, but dancing is not mentioned at all. If the outfit were based on Terpsichore, I would imagine at least one piece would mention dancing in the description.
Nurse's is Medea. I don't know what the deal is with the scorpions, but the descriptions for the outfit tell Medea's story. After learning Jason was leaving her for a princess, Medea pretended that she was fine with that and the fact that she was being exiled. This got the king and princess to let their guard down, which Medea took advantage of by sending the princess a poisoned dress. Then, she reluctantly killed her own children because even though it caused her grief, it hurt Jason more. The only thing that really doesn't make sense to me is the arachnid imagery. Why is she covered in scorpions? Why is there a jar wrapped in spider legs on her back? Why does she have a spider leg? No clue. She's definitely not Arachne, and the set name being "Vengeful Enchantress" means she isn't a Goddess, which rules out Achlys. It's really weird.
Elodie's was the hardest for me to figure out, but when it clicked it CLICKED. The descriptions for each individual piece didn't offer any new hints, so I tried to figure it out using the name of the outfit. I at first thought "Bearer of Gifts" meant that the figure the outfit was based off of gave gifts, but instead that figure is the one who was given gifts. Elodie's outfit is based on Pandora, the first human woman whom the Gods all showered in gifts. That's why Elodie's dress has a pithos on it, it represents Pandora's box.
I wouldn’t rule out Achlys just because of the naming ‚Enchantress‘, as Circe is also a goddess but is often referred to as an enchantress.
but I still think we are missing something here, I can definitely see Circe, Medea and Achlys all kinda work but then again not really..

Bubba for BBQ&Chilli easily.
Plague has great perks depending on killer, at least Corrupt is great for anyone.
Gen Regression: either Clown with Pop or Hag with Ruin (maybe along with Blights Undying)
otherwise I like for example Spirit Fury + Enduring but I don’t think that should be the first to go for..
lightborn (Hillbilly) OR franklins (bubba) may be good for beginners if they have problems against flashlights. Tinkerer (Hillbilly) can be great on high mobility killers.

Could Elodie be based on Pandora?
The box of Pandora was actually a jar and not a box, which gets depicted on her dress. And she was wearing all the gift from the gods (bearer doesn’t have to mean she is giving away the gifts but she wears the gifts.. right? Not a native English speaker here..)

To be fair, no sexuality is explicitly stated, just names/genders of partners and such, but not the whole picture.

The reason I pointed out Artemis is because she's involved in the myth about the Scorpio constellation, which is a Scorpion. I honestly just can't figure out Nurse's so I just threw out names hoping they'd stick while having some level of reasoning why I picked them.
Yeah I can see why you picked those three! But in the end none of them really fit that well as you pointed out yourself.
Never heard of her before, but Achlys is the personification of sadness and misery, which is kinda fitting with Nurses backstory. AND she is also the goddess of deadly poisons (kinda?), scorpions may have just been used as an easy symbol for poison.

Ah I wondered why Adam got Hermes, but traveling makes sense for his character!
Though, why did Zarina get Hera I don’t get? All others kinda make sense in one way or another..

On nurse, I don’t think any of the ones you mentioned really fit, as. nothing I know of those would lead me to scorpions, poison or a false image of serenity. The one fitting best would be Circe as she poisened the water..
Artemis they need to use for Huntress, maybe next year.

there is nothing LGBTQ+ related shoved into anyone’s face in DbD, especially if Jakes tome implies he might be gay it was a very subtle notion. Also, habe you read the tome story of Legion? That is a good example of something sexual being unnecessarily being shoved in our faces. And it’s about a straight couple.
so why lash out in the first place in this thread and say this would ruin Jakes character?
