If you’re on the hook you can see others but unless you’re using a perk they can’t see each other. I think more often than not that is why so many people rush for the save. It isn’t stupidity it’s just ignorance due to lack of information.
As a kindred player, it still happens all the time with Kindred.
-
If I'm about to third hook some poor soul at 5/4 gens, I'll usually let them live and kill everyone else and then give them a chance to hatch.
Otherwise, if you keep ending up in front of me, you're gonna keep getting chased by me.

Personally, give Deatslinger the same weakness Huntress has, loud noises. You know those clinking boots in stereotypical western movies? Give those to Deatslinger. Now you know where he is in your vicinity and undetectable no longer means anything to him
Honestly this would be good and in-character. Also very nice atmospherically.
Tack on a sway if he's walking while ADS so that death slinger's are forced to stand still if they want a perfect shot. A .5 wind up for ADS would be fine too.

i just dont have time to stream.. the streamers i watch never use slowdown or strong addons and focus on the chase a lot more.. so they play exactly like me but they actually have the time to stream.. i dont have any other way of providing evidence and honestly if you think im a liar then i dont see how that affects me.. i dont have to prove anything or even respond.. but sure if you think im lying then go for it.. at the end of the day im still gonna play dbd and still play the way i always do.. the claims arent even that bold, they are just "i think i can rely on my own skill instead of get perks to hold my hand"
Don't have time to stream? You hit a button to start stream. Play like you would. Hit button to turn off stream when you're done.

Even as a deathslinger main I can admit he is not perfectly fine. Maybe they could add a 1.5 second windup similar to huntress, but compensate him with the ability to drag survivors over pallets and obstacles.
Survivors would go even more mad if he could drag them over #########. lol

The majority of DCs I experience as either killer or survivor is someone going down first and immediately DCing or suiciding on hook.
What conclusions can you even draw from this aside from shattered egos?

Just finished a match as a rank 19 killer (much higher survivor rank 6) and I've only been getting 4k's. Bloodlust or not, my experience has been this game seriously favors killers. I have 1 perk slot open. This match was against rank 9-12's and once again. Easily able to stop them. So if your a killer, and think the survivors are too strong, go back and check your feed. How many times do you get less than 2k? Because that shows you, no matter how good the survivor, at least half die. Its HEAVILY killer favored.

Imagine thinking the game is killer sided because you're killing literal potatoes.
-
Drop it earlier.
-
The recent sentiment of if a someone is doing well as a survivor they are a killer main lying is so stupid.
-
Its an empty perk slot for 99% of the game and easily counterable.
lol

And you played 100% of those games solo. And you played how, did you hide all game? There’s so many factors here.
Yeah they were all solo. Any duos of swf games I played were not kept track in this. Also I had edited my first post here earlier with some general ideas of how I just went about playing the games.
Now the question here is, how are you playing that you are only surviving 20% of the time?

Trust me. “Momentosis” with his kindred, spine chill and head on doesn’t survive 80% of his matches. I can guarantee you that much. Unless Momentosis is rank 16, he doesn’t survive 80% of his solo queue red ranks.
Players like Momentosis lie.
lol.
Didn't say 80, said 60-70. You can look up my steam account. I've hit rank 1 with both Killer and Survivor.
Here's a spreadsheet I did before PH's release. I kept track of stats of 100 games at rank 1 survivor.
Sheet1 Cannibal,Clown,Deathslinger,Demogorgon,Doctor,Ghostface,Hag,Hillbilly,Huntress,Legion,Nightmare,Nurse,Oni,Pig,Plague,Shape,Spirit,Trapper,Wraith Encounter,10,1,6,1,6,6,3,4,12,6,7,5,5,3,4,6,7,5,3 Encounter Percentage,10%,1%,6%,1%,6%,6%,3%,4%,12%,6%,7%,5%,5%,3%,4%,6%,7%,5%,3% A Nurse's CallingEnded up with 61% survival rate. And honestly if not for the DCs and suicides, the numbers could've potentially be higher as almost all of them were DCs on first down/suicides on first hook.
Been thinking of doing another one of these but it's such a pain in the ass entering in the numbers after every game.
-
Around 60-70% survival rate.
Perk set I usually use is Kindred, Small Game, Spine Chills, and then something else like Head On.
As to how, I don't know. I'm ok at looping. I play like my teammates are little kids and I sorta have to baby sit them. Brute force gens the killer is defending so we don't 3 gen ourselves
Clean up totems because nobody ever does totems. I very rarely, if ever, get hit by NOED.
If I notice someone who's on their last hook being chased, I'll run up and try to take the pressure off of them and get the killer to chase me instead(only if I'm not on the last hook myself". Sharing hook states is pretty vital. I try to keep a mental note of which hook state each survivor is on. You often get people talking about how their team is getting killed while they haven't got touched the entire game and then they get hooked at EGC and nobody saves them, what they don't realize is that the teammates have been keeping pressure off them and now that they're all on death hooks, nobody's gonna come save your ass. Maybe you should've taken a couple hooks during the match to keep the hook states balanced among everyone.
If the killer is camping, I just rush the gens. Wake Up, another perk I use a lot, is a really good perk for escaping when you're the last survivor.
Balancing stealth and actively running around the killer is vital I think.

That is the point of the PTB, but not after a few hours. That is not really enough time to properly evaluate how strong something is, especially killer strength.
Pyramid Head and Blight are both way stronger than people thought they were at first. People thought Deathslinger was fun to play against, then people learned how to zone, and now I and many others despise playing against him. People thought that Oni was stupid OP but now he doesn't get much play because he's very punishing if you misuse your power. I'm sure PTB impressions of The Twins will be far off too, even for people who wait longer than a few hours to comment. Same goes for perks, btw - remember when Any Means Necessary and For the People were going to break the game?
A lot of the big killer streamers figured out Pyramid Head pretty early on. Like Tru3 figured out the sticking the sword into the ground to bait and zone a few games in but also that he's really weak in map pressure. They fixed some of the jankiness and more people began to utilizing him for his zoning that's why he seemed "stronger" after PTB. Mostly because people were playing it wrong and unlike most of the high level killers who had already figured out how he should be played.
Blight had to be hit with buffs and fixes from PTB. He was ######### terrible on PTB. Running into ######### everything. They buffed him into live and after to further reduce his clunkiness. Again, a lot of the high level killer streamers were pointing out the potential in blight but because of all the bugs and clunkiness, he was super weak on PTB.
Oni got nerfed pretty good since the PTB didn't he. He's still considered one of the stronger killers but he did get hit with a big nerf.

Cringing heck, what a post lmao.
For what it's worth I queue solo red almost all day and constantly get survivors above rank 10, I don't get the point in this post, the whole queueing with low rank friends to get low ranked killers hasn't worked for a year yet people keep clinging to it for some reason.
Smurfing definitely works. I get nothing but noob killers when I queue with my lower ranked friends.
Its been like this for almost a year now. Have you not played with any low ranked players recently?
-
Keep note of where and when he's placing traps. If he's trying to lock you into a loop, try breaking off into another loop.
Being awake weakens him so try to keep awake whenever you can. Things like fail a gen skill check when you start working on it. Chances are he's chasing someone and won't come to chase you off. Have the person you just unhooked wake you up.
Nothing you can do about ebony moris lol

Good joke

Every time you drop someone, a certain amount of the wiggle bar gets filled up. If they've wiggled enough, dropping them gives them enough to complete the bar and run away.
Also flip flop, breakout, etc.
-
you mean "NOED November".
-
This is BHVR we're talking about. They're a small indie company!
-
Yeah if he's busting out moris and ######### then there's no reason to even watch that and not everyone has meta perks which on Killer is so heavily DLC-based.
-
You unlocked the teachable instead?
-
Someone's mad.
I have had no problems since undying came into the game. I was already cleansing totems before then. Ruin is pretty weak. If the Killer is keeping you from doing 1 gen, that means everyone else is free to power through gens as if ruin wasn't even in play. Plenty of games where my team powered through all 5 gens before we could even break the Ruin totem.
And remember if its a 1v4. If the killer drops chase to go to someone he can see on a totem, he's just ######### wasting his time.

Impossible Skill Checks

There's a difference.
Consoles are inherently limited a bit by controller.
There are also things console survivors do that only really works on console killers and not PC killers(like trying to drop their frames to make them miss).
This doesn't mean every PC player is better than console player. It just means the ceiling is way higher on PC. Same for most games(like shooters) where precise movements with MnK makes a huge differnce.

4 gens left and the killer camping around me
EDIT: waht do I do if they dont come tho? I'm asking what can I do, not others, this doesnt help.
Well, crawl around.
Also the difference in your edit it, it's 4 minutes to bleed out vs survivors hiding for an hour.

This is regarding the old skins from 2018 and 2019.

Wait what happened? I'm lost. Is this about loss when trying to link with Bhvr accounts?
The new "event" skins they put up are 21k shards.
Due to how terrible the "event" is and the massive backlash against it, they've lowered the cost of these 21k skins by a huge amount.
2 days after they put up the skins and with no warning.
Looks like the people who already spent 21k won't be refunded/reimbursed.

As much as that sucks, that's pretty normal business practice everywhere around the globe, not just in games. You don't really get prompted when a certain sale is about to hit consumers, well, not always at least. Look at Sony Playstation store for example. You might buy a game full price right now but within a week that game might be in sale for 50% off. Do you contact sony support and ask for a refund? That's just the nature of the business. If you are afraid of losing on good sales, just save up your shards, don't spend them unless there's a sale going on.
Pretty sure Steam and Sony will refund you when this ######### happens.
Article "Common Refund Questions"Places like Amazon, Best Buy, etc. will do the same as well. Usually within a 14 day window. This DBD price drop has been like, 2 days since the Skins were put up lol.

No, he was really mad because of one sabo. Like it was a brown tool box, I can only sabo twice. Like, he overreacted immensely, IMO
How does the killer know that? How does the killer know he's not going up against a sabo squad?
Your view. Killer is mad you sabo'd a hook so he slugs everyone cause he's mad.
His view. Killer gets sabo'd. He doesn't know if he'll get sabo'd again and if he's against a sabo squad so he just slugs everyone.
-
We'll make it becomes a wasted perk slot when your teammates refused to let you heal them so they can self-care in a corner.

What is this 11 percent survival rate bullshit

If I drop to second hook because the killer is camping me, I'll stay and try my best to help if they manage to get me off.
If I drop to second hook even though I'm running kindred and the Killer is obviously chasing someone across the map from me while the other two sit on gens or self-care in the corner, I won't suicide. I just won't try as hard to help them when they eventually come to get me as I nearly die on hook.
-
The recent stats only tracks stuff towards the tome challenges.
That's why the kill numbers are so high. Because of all the killing challenges. Meanwhile, there are very few escape challenges. Very few generator challenges.
This causes any math for these "stats" to come out all wrong.

So comms on Xbox and PlayStation have always been cheating even though it's built into the system?
In the system but not the game.
Imagine using voice comms in Among Us to tell others who the killer is. Oh, it's not in the game but it's on my system so it's not cheating!

It'd be nice to see videos debating both sides. Doctor is really not fun to play against for me. But thanks to tips from the forum community (you guys are awesome) he's less overbearing now. I'm not sure what a previous poster meant when he said the doctor has no mobility exactly.
Doc can't warp like Nurse. Can't superspeed through phase like Spirit. Can't Slam into walls at crazy speeds like Blight. Can't circle the entire map in mere seconds like Billy or Oni. Can't teleport to gens like Freddy. Can't teleport to traps like Hag. Can't dig tunnels like Demo. Can't sprint like Legion. Can't even speed boost in stealth like Wraith.
He can just walk. And he's slowed down when using either of his powers.
-
If you just got the game today, the bloodpoints you've invested in legion is meaningless.

- Pig
- Because of RNG. When every box but the last one doesn't work. The most infuriating thing.
- Trapper
- Again, the RNG. You can either get out right away or spend 2 minutes failing to get out of a trap.
- Clown
- This time not because of RNG, but because of the FPS hang that happens when a bottle hits sometimes. This is almost always a guaranteed hit for the clown. A down, if I'm already injured and it happens.'
These 3 are often considered some of the worst killers in the game but the RNG and ######### frame drops from Clown I hate so much.

The thing is they don't want to add comms because every game would basically be a Swf group. They'll either have to buff killers to adjust to facing Swf groups or put something to nerf survivors that play with friends
Yeah. The devs stance is always "we have no control on whether the players use outside programs for voice comms". They know how strong voice comms is and how much they'd have to change(perks, debuffs, balancing, etc.) but they don't want to alienate their swf player base so they continue to dance around the subject despite people complaining about it for years.
-
The only way to fix SWF is to balance Killers like every survivor is using comms.
Most suggestions to balance SWF usually points to punishing the players for wanting to play with their friends. Why should the players ever be punished for playing with their friends?
Sucks for solo but if the put in integrated comms and then balance the Killers around SWF, it would be much less of a problem.
Thing is, though, the devs refuse to ever comment on this issue so we'll probably never see anything to balance it.
