Dropping a Survivor because of a Sabo is a smart move. Slugging EVERYONE because of one sabo?
Yikes.
Exactly. Ok cool you dropped them to get me, I have no problem with that. But slugging everyone to get me? That's sad.

No, he was really mad because of one sabo. Like it was a brown tool box, I can only sabo twice. Like, he overreacted immensely, IMO

Nowadays I also play however I like to. Wasn't easy to give up the honour code. Now the devs have to take care about very unhealthy and unfun things.
Yeah, I feel more bad for devs than anyone

Rulebook is a meme name for honour codex. Back in the days dbd was very easily exploitable. OG Sabo, real infinites and many more op things. And the "rulebook" was a "do or don't do". Like: Don't use infinite windows/Don't use a infinite window more than 1+ or respect the 4% because it's only 4%. Don't sabo hooks or you bleed out. Don't use noed bc it's bad designed, unfair and only for noobs. Don't tunnel. Don't use Sprint Burst.
SB had a 40 secs cooldown, tunneling has no counter at all ( No BT, DS or anything). A sabo'ed hook stayed destroyed. And because al lthose things were very annoying on one side people created a honour codex aka the survivor/killer rulebook for killer/survivor.
Killer and Survivor back then were way more "different camps". It was way more idk how to describe. Like cold war or sth like that. I remember that survivor did not sabo anything bc they knew killer don't want that. But from time to time new players came in and found out how strong it is so the whole survivor base started sabo'ing again. In that case every killer ran OG iron Grasp and Agitation or they let everyone bleed out. In the end one by another game killer punished any survivor by letting all bleeding out. And so survivor stopped abusing it... for a while.
And that's just one examble. Back in the days DbD wasn't fair or fixed at all. So the honour code helped the whole community to make it through the old days. Nowadays there is way more content, the game is way more fair and not broken in any possible way. And there are way more new players than veterans so the honour codex is now known as a meme "the rulebook" to make jokes about people making rules for other players about literally anything.
So yea. Thats why
I don't make any rules when I play. I just hope it's fun and I don't get caught first 😭

I mean if you play toxic towards me i can just make sure you die, aka face camping with michael while holding stalk, which makes people think im waiting to grab thn i pop tier 3 and slug
See now that's not nice. And it gives no blood points so why you 😭

Some people are pretty sensitive. Dont think too much about it, the majority of Killers is not like that. But apparently he does not like Sabotage, so he decided to "punish" your team for it.
Yeah, that game was incredibly sad. But I understand not all killers are this way. I'm just concerned bout this guy's health, because I demolished this guy and he was very precise on " punishment" I wish I had the video

On the forums it's a term to shut down discussion.
For some players, it's a way to demean and belittle other players.
For sensible people it's "Don't be a colossal douche to me, because I'm not to you. Please" type of deal.
I'm with the sensible part of players. So, this really clears things up.

Survivor rulebook for killers:
The notion that Killers must prioritize survivor's enjoyment before their own. Killers that cannot be easily countered are not allowed. Moris are gay. You must pick a survivor up immediately after downing them regardless of if they have DS or not. Killers must chase a survivor who teabags or clicky clickys. Camping and Tunneling make you a virgin, you must tolerate any racial slurs you receive, and ensure that the survivors always pip.
Killer rulebook for survivors:
The notion that survivors must prioritize killer's enjoyment before their own. Perks or strategies that cannot be easily countered aren't allowed. Keys are gay. You must never run DS under any circumstance. Survivors must never teabag or clicky clicky. Gen rushing and doing bones make you a virgin, you must tolerate any racial slurs you receive, and ensure that the killer always pips.
So basically no one's wins and everyone still complains? Alright. I have it memorized 🤣

If they get rid of keys I'll gladly give up moris(except Devour Hope). I only bring moris if I see a key or I have a daily/ritual. It always confuses me when people complain about getting a Mori through Devour Hope. Like the OP said, you have to work for that. It's a hex perk(no explanation should be needed) They get a notification at 3 stacks that DH is on the map. The killer needs 5 stacks to mori someone and it discourages face camping.
See, this, you are my new fav person. This is all I want

I felt this haha. When I play solo, most of my team mates can't play the game to save their life and I get annoyed to the point where I'll stop playing survivor until my friends get on so we can do SWF instead. I also do agree on the killer part because most killers I play against camp on first hook and its hard to let go of BT, but it almost feels like a necessity nowadays.
Yes! I totally feel this. Bt is a necessity, especially for camper!

Personally I prefer devour hope because at least survivors have a chance to fight back against an easy kill. In my mind mori's can be fun animation wise but they're pretty much a guaranteed loss for survivors unless it's either an amazing SWF or an inexperienced killer. In solo queue mori's are pretty much a guaranteed win, and especially considering there is no way to counter a mori like cleansing a totem or even DS (Unless you just so happen to have been unhooked less than 60s ago and were lucky enough to find a locker to jump in). Even then the killer can just stand at the locker and wait for the DS period to be over and just kill you. In my mind mori's and keys pretty much need to go point blank, neither require skill to use. As somebody who plays both sides fairly equally I never bring either because they really aren't fair to either side. Just play the game and if you escape, you escape and if you get a 4k you get a 4k. Nothing in this game should be given to you like an easy escape or a quick kill, you should have to earn it one way or another. Closing statement, I run small game so I triple dog dare a killer to run devour in 2020, I am the TOTEM DESTROYER.
That's my issues. Killers vs. Keys. Why are keys such a problem? If all survivors get through a hatch then it's your fault for not having gen pressure. Swf or not.

The issue with this is that you just need to have a player hide in the corner all game and it negates the mori ability completely. Or if you have a swf group running OoO...ouch. I'd rather they just make the mori an option to do only on the third hook. It's a bit faster than carrying them to the hook for the sacrifice so that should keep the killers happy. And since they would be dead anyhow it's not as much of an issue in terms of fairness for survivors.
Yes, thank you. I definitely agree, but hiding in a corner I've never done that. Does it actually help?

I'm keen on the idea Otzdarva had for Mori's:
After hooking EVERY survivor at least once, you may kill a survivor by your hand.
This stops the offerings being absolutely game changing, as the killer needs to get 4 alternative downs to force somebody out of the game. If one or two survivors manages to evade the killer for a significant amount of time then it's possible nobody gets Mori'ed all match.
I don't realistically see the devs removing Mori offerings completely, but this would feel like a compromise to keep survivors happy while avoiding anger from killer's. I don't care how they nerf it though, since I rarely use these offerings myself.
That's what I'm saying.

@Bwsted said:
Moris and keys are confirmed to be on the list for changes. We'll have to wait and see.
About for your points, ebonies are just the overkill version of a green mori. But green moris are the basic broken moris. 3v1 early = ggez.
That's another thing. Why are killers so upset when survivors have a key? Like, just buff up your gen pressure.

I propose an idea, that every time you are hit by the killer you slow down. This is to give a killer a chance. Here are some ideas:
Across all ideas: You begin slowing down after your initial burst of speed to get away
1 You get hit, you leave blood like normal, but gradually slow down. An energy bar will show this effect.
2 You get hit and it works like being hit by legion, except across all killers.
3 It works like legion, except that you leave no scratch marks for 8 seconds.
You reset your energy if you get up to full health from a med kit.
The problem here, is that when people have the ability to run full speed after being hit, the killer might have absolutely no chance. If this is wrong, correct me, maybe I and others just need to learn our killers better.
Another idea is that all killers get more energy every time they hit someone, and their speed permanently increases, or it stays fast until all survivors have healed themselves 100%
Just trying to balance things, because survivors have all gotten so many abilities now, it seems to ME, and I could be wrong, almost impossible to get more than 2 survivors.
No because killers need to stop being babies when they get looped and actually work for a kill. Especially tunnelers. All killers want to be babies so they don't have to work for kills, no actually work for a kill and you'll get them. Survivors really have no perks to get away and if they do use DS or Lither or whatever, they still get followed

Ok, like i said, 2 disconnects isn't a long timer. And if you do it involunarily take a break so it doesn't happen again. No need to insult me during a discussion
It wasn't really an insult but mkay. Like I said, we don't know the reasons people disconnect. Let's leave it at that

I'm showing bad sportsmanship for saying stop disconnecting? Ok let's use your example. Mother cuts out internet, take a 5 minute break, if she does it a second time get off for a bit. Same thing with blackouts. Plus those are what i would call minority cases, most people dc for other reasons. But yeah I'm a bad sport for telling people not to screw over their teammates by disconnecting repeatedly. There's a reason it starts small and increases in length the more you dc.
My reason for saying that is because we don't know exactly why they DCd. That's my point. I was giving two examples I'd been given by recent survivors. I'm not sure if it's happened multiple times or not, I'm just saying some people DC to be douchebags and some people do it involuntarily

@ToxicMyers said:

Stop disconnecting then
Sometimes when people disconnect, it's not them just being a bad survivor or killer, sometimes it's just their internet. Like one time two of the survivors DCd when I was killer so I let the other two go. They both message me. One saying their mom cut off the internet and the other saying they had blackout. Sometimes, it's not just bad sportsmanship. Like you're showing now. I totally agree with the 5 to 15 min. Bogusness, it is a little unfair

dunno how many times I have to explain this to people. if a bubba is facecamping he can never pip. Facecamping a survivor to death won't even get you a safety pip 90% of the time and unless you were dumb enough to run into basement without a plan against a bubba he can't facecamp 2 people at once
Explaij it more because clearly you think you know it all. I'm intrigued. Telle more about avoiding face camping bubba's

You have zero clue how to play killer against highly competitive, highly coordinated, highly efficient survivors at high ranks If that’s what you firmly believe.
And you have proven to me that you are on of those killers. I can get a 4k without slugging. Sooo, what's your excuse? Also don't tell me what I can and cannot believe or tell me I'm wrong, don't be part of the problem Slugger.

Honestly I love playing The Demogorgon I enjoy maining him but he could definitely have some buffs to his kit. (Please don't unleash the wrath of the internet on me for having my own opinion)
- Undetectable. The detectable status from his portals is very short and experienced survivors will just hear his super loud footsteps. I think that your detectable status lasts for 4-5 seconds instead of 2 on default, and while you're undetectable footsteps should be silenced.
- Shred. His Shred attack in my opinion is pretty balanced it's able be used to end chases faster and can be dodged by survivors.
Tldr: To balance The Demogorgon I think that his footsteps should be made quieter or silenced while he is undetectable, and Shred is OK as it is. (Keep in mind this is all my opinion.)
I agree, and I'm not coming at you or anything, I main Demo boy as well :3 but I think the undetectable status is ok for maybe 3 seconds. I personally believe 4-5 is too long. And footstep wise, they should be able to hear it because they can't hear the terror radius. They usually don't hear me coming at them but everything depends on what map it is and how you place portals. I place mine 6-9 feet away from a gen and usually I get survivors

I got berated by a red rank 1 for trying to give them tips to improve their game. How dare a rank 11 tell them - a rank 1 - how to play! The fact I was trying to help them after I had just sacrificed them, when they became rather bitter in their first post game chat after me..
It is just a game. Play as you would in either role. Yet I'd say people should play both equally to understand how each side feel.
Everyone gets butthurt after a match, especially if the killer texts you after you were sacrificed. I would just say leave them be and let them figure it out themselves. But I get you were trying to help. And the way I play is if a survivor or killer plays toxic towards me, I play wwf or just survive by myself

Slugging is one of the very few counter to a top tier swf , exactly why I run infectious fright on nurse because you're not winning the game 3 hooking everyone and the death squads will have the gens done in less than 5 minutes , you have to play a killer that can keep up with the pressure once you get to red ranks or you'll be staring at a open exit gate getting t bagged every match
Either buff up your gen pressure or just quit playing killer. Wwf is for survivor to get fens done and not get slugged. Period.
