  • Survivors don't have an inherent advantage. Killers don't require more skill. Both sides require a lot of skill to win consistently.

Freddy hard counters stealthy players because they glow brightly when sleeping. If you're having trouble with vision, try running perks like Shadowborn or monitor and abuse. They both raise your field of view making it much easier to find people.

What? I thought they removed Freddy Aura vision already.

That is really hard to believe, for a Beginner nurse to get 3Ks easily would require players that are very new to the game. Like they would have to be running in a straight line for a beginner nurse to get a 3K.

I would actually like to see proof of that, cause from my experience and when learning the nurse, beginner nurses either go no kills or at max 1. You would need at least a moderately good nurse to start getting 3Ks.

I don't get why people find this so hard to believe? A beginner nurse will usually be fighting against beginner survivors, unless it's a killer main with thousands of hours on other killers before trying nurse.

I got 4k on my first Nurse game. Rank 20. Blinked and walked around to kill 2 of them on hook, then got into a 3-gen defense against the last two. They eventually caved and died. These kinds of games are common at Rank 20 no matter what killer you're using.

Playing nurse as a beginner is hard, but playing survivor as a beginner is even harder.

  • "NEW NURSE STILL ISN'T GOOD"

    Implying old nurse wasn't good?

    Yes, right.

  • I'm a thousand hours in and still a potato.

I can't loop a good killer to save my life.

  • This is unnecessary because they are implementing husks.

It's also a bad idea. So much wrong with your post, like how you complain about super SWF teams with infinite loops but turns out you "beat" them anyway. If you're already winning and getting 3k's why do you still feel the need to whine and ######### about things?

This is just a ridiculous level of entitlement.

  • Just run Doctor. Blendettes hate Doctor. Use Restraint and Calm Add-ons then the usual anti-skill check build with Distressing, Unnverving, Lullaby and Overcharge.

  • Too many people idolize streamers. That's what's wrong with the gaming crowd these days.

  • Oh yeah! Killing Floor 2 has also actually gotten a little slower over the years but it's mostly due to all the added cosmetics. And that game takes forever for the initial load.

But once in game kiling stuff it's smooth as butter.

cant you just do gens?...I don't get it

    Doing Gens gets you nowhere.

Once the gen is done the killer will kick the hatch, now you are stuck in the same problem of opening 2 exit games.

I've been seeing alot Self Care users lately. Is it just me? Or is Self Care becoming meta again?

In my experience it's always been popular even after the nerf.

Lots of people are still using it even in red ranks. You will probably never see a game with all four (or three, because I never count myself I never use it) packing it at red, but this isn't an uncommon sight in the lower ranks.

So while it's not exactly making a "comeback" it's better to say it was "never really gone."

Much to my annoyance, people will still self care themselves for half a minute while you happily die on the hook. Usually after they took a dumb protection hit while you were being carried to the hook.

  • @GrootDude said:

I’ve been noticing a lot lately that killers and survivors just sit on the hatch waiting for the other to come. I had a 30 minute stand off because I decided to dedicate myself this time. I do two gens, cleanse a totem, look for a key but don’t find one so I just snuck to the hatch and the spirit messed up by phasing since I heard her footsteps and ran to it.

I escaped and double pipped but admittedly I didn’t really earn anything extra. Yes, it was my choice to do this but it does get annoying how common it has become.

Wait so the Spirit found the hatch but didn't close it for thirty minutes?

That sounds more like a problem with the killer than anything.

The "standoffs" I tend to see are when 2 survivors are left and both go into hiding waiting for the other to die so they can make a play for the hatch. But once the hatch actually shows up and it's a 1v1 there are no standoffs the game ends very quickly after.

I don't know if the situation I described has become enough of a problem for everyone here, but in my experience it's pretty rare for it to drag on long enough to be a problem. Killer will usually find one survivor or the other soon enough.

And I don't participate in these unless I just felt bad all day and really need a win. I usually sneak around doing gens or other stuff, I am always still trying to win without going into full immersion mode. But I'm a lot more cautious, if I feel the killer is coming I slink away and move to another gen to work on that. If killer catches me so be i. Usually he will, it is almost impossible to finish all gens when there are only 2 of you left and there's more than 1 gen left to do.

  • As shards said, Keys are strong, but they are a lot harder to put to use than most killers seem to think. They aren't "I WIN" buttons by any stretch.

In most situations only one person will get to use it to escape, and that's after you've killed three other survivors. That's a win in any Killer's book except for those who believe killers should get 4K's all the time.

Ebony Moris are a lot more powerful and game breaking. While it's true that Ebony Moris aren't an "I Win" Button either (fought a Huntress last week that had Pink Mori and Hatchet and we all managed to escape she screwed up big time) they do tilt the match in the killer's favor a lot more than a key does for the survivors.

And as shards said, removing stuff does make the game more bland. Both are fine in the game, but need to be of suitable rarity that they don't become too common.

  • if you use coin offerings the chance naturally goes up. I don't know what the actual stats are and I don't think anybody knows but BHVR, but I'm estimating that the purple and pink keys each have around a 4% chance to be pulled from a chest when you run Plunderers.

I am basing that figure off of the number of items possible in the game (without events that add stuff like firecrackers) and their rarity. I am thinking the combined total chance to pull either is in a single chest is about 8%. Maybe 3% for pink and 5% for purple.

Without plunders I figure the chance to pull either is like 1%.

This is just based on a serial chest opener's gameplay (I always open chests whether I run Plunderer or not).

With 3 chests that's 8% chance with 3 tries. The probability for that mathematically is around 22.14%. Which is pretty close to the 25% figure I gave out.

But with 4 chests it becomes 28.4%. And with 5 chests from a purple coin it is 34.1% of pulling a key. That's about 1/3 games and is not bad.

  • lol she thought she was safe at the gate!

By the way, regarding the butt dance, I noticed some survivors these days use the butt dance to thank you.

After you heal them or something they do one tea bag, I've come to understand that this means they are bowing to you to thank you.

Happens to me a lot when I give them some Santa Claus gifts or when I heal them from an unhook with We'll Make It.

  • I will never understand why people get so triggered by butt dancing.

Me? Many times I have let the killer just whack me and kill me/hook me if I felt he had a bad game. Maybe some people just have some pride and don't want freebies, I dunno. Well, just hook him no big deal. It's just an extra 5k BP.

I only really want freebies when I'm doing a quest or ritual that's tough, like opening the exit gates. Sometimes I come across nice killers who let me finish it when I been failing for the past ten missions to open the gate.

  • @LordGlint said:

Been doing the chest challenges for both mine and my GFs accounts using plunderers. Ive gotten a purple or red key every game...lol

That's some luck you have there.

I run plunderers all the time but the actual key pull rate for me is closer to 25% rather than 100% every game like you are experiencing. Do note that I've been running Plunder builds for over a year and this is my estimate based on running Plunderer's long term.

  • I hate Moris but to be honest it's nice to have Moris every now and then. I don't think Moris and keys are a real problem per se, but rather how often I seem to come across them.

Getting Mori'd adds a little fun and spice to the game, but only if it happens rarely. Like maybe 1/10 games at most.

The problem is at times I get Pink Moris like 3 times in a row. And this is like every other day, not just once a week or once a month. If it's not a Pink Mori it's an Iri Hatchet. Or something. I also see lots of Bloodstone Trappers lately (but that's not so bad so not really complaining about that).

Meanwhile to combat the frustration I started playing Key Fishing builds and I can escape with a key about once every 5 games if I really want to. And that's without using a key in the lobby. I bet killers don't like that much either. So it's not so irritating for the killer I don't play optimally with key fishing builds so I only get to escape maybe 1/10 games with a key. I force saves and don't hide, and that affects my escape rate a lot when I have a key, and try to get out with 2 people if I can.

Being a hero isn't smart in this game, though I admit it is rewarding and really awesome when you do it.

I think Moris and Keys are broken, but that is fine in a casual game. But, and I say this with a big caveat, perhaps the commonness of running into keys and Moris is the problem. They should be rare events and not everyday ones.

Damn, it's getting bad for PC as well? That's a shame honestly :(

I'm sure some people don't notice, the once with good PCs. A modern PC I think can handle it without too much fuss.

But the game has consistently gotten worse over the past year with the two engine updates. Ever since the Legion patch things have actually gotten slower rather than faster, which is a shame.

I've had to lower my resolution down and down with each patch. But its' gone as low as it'll go on my rig. Pretty soon I'll need to buy a new PC just to play this game. Which is pretty ridiculous considering I can run a much more graphically impressive game like Overwatch at 120fps without problems.

  • @aregularplayer said:

I think they will prioritize what brings them more money, not necessarily consoles. That's how capitalism works, you can complain with Adam Smith if you will...

They have to realize that the game has to be playable to make them money.

People are gonna stop playing if the game turns into a slideshow.

I have actually stopped playing DBD after finishing Level 1, usually I play DBD every day but I'm sick of the performance. I been spending my time playing Overwatch and Kiling Floor instead.

  • Well PC also needs optimization to be honest. The entire game needs optimization.

I don't have a killer rig so my frame rates have gotten really bad. They've never been great but they're even worse now. And yes the campfire is like a slide show. I don't understand what they did but it's a joke. I can't even spend bloodpoints in lobby now the 1 minute wait time is over before I can even finish a bloodweb.

If you have a super killer rig the game probably runs "fine" but not everyone on PC has a killer rig.

  • The rank system determines "how good you are at getting pips."

Nothing more, nothing less. That is a skill in itself.

By "skill" you have to be more specific, because I get the feeling by "skill" you are talking about something else other than the skill to get pips.

There are many different skills in DBD. Skill at stealthing, at looping, at tracking, and protecting gens, etc. But what it boils down to is "skill at surviving" and "skill at killing."

Neither really have anything in particular to do with "skill at getting pips."

They are related in the sense that you need some skill at surviving to last long enough to get pips for survivor, and you need some skill at killing in order to progress the objectives you need to get pips as killer.

But you'll find that if you skew your play to just "surviving" and do your best to maximize it you probably won't be pipping. And if you skew your play to just "killing" you will not pip either.

Survivors who are so good at surviving that they can gen rush the game in 4 minutes are not going to pip. Survivors who hide all game and get the hatch are not going to pip. Killers who smash all the survivors in under 4 minutes is not going to pip.

So as you can see, "Skill at Surviving" and "Skill at Killing" has nothing to do with "Skill at Getting Pips." Ergo, Rank has nothing to do with "skill" in this sense.

I hate comments like this. Not on your part, but because it's the standard reply by the devs. We have no proof they even care about it, let alone 'track it' for punishment. And even if they do, the estimate was, what, 30% of games need to be a dc? That can be a 'lot' of games the ruin before the devs every care. At least, again, going by 30%.

If you can't trust BHVR then just stop playing the game.

You are the type of person who doesn't believe anything BHVR says. They could say "Nurse is the strongest killer" and you wouldn't believe it if it didn't fit your narrative.

30% is a number someone just pulled out of his butt somewhere. And you believe that random person over BHVR, who actually knows the score?

Look, if you don't like what BHVR says and does the answer is simple: stop playing their games, stop buying their games, stop telling your friends to play their games, stop buying DLC, stop buying Auric Cells. Let your wallet do the talking.

    That's where it hurts.

Except that “enough” bar is so high,

ive never seen someone get punished for it,

literally keep seeing the same survivor group after they rq

so nope nothing is going to happen to them

You don't see people get punished for it because most American corporations believe in proper management practices.

    1. Praise in public, punish in private.

That is how every decent company operates, and it's how BHVR operates. Bans and other punishments are never publicized.

  • @xllxENIGMAxllx said:

I guess no one watch tournaments i mean real tournament. Trust me the gens and loops are definitely a problem except nurse of course. The new nurse addonless is said to be bad and yet two days ago on the escape tournament hosted by marth and admiredplague show that she still 4k on game map and with two perks only and very strong survivors.

The issues on this forum you see this game as being casual when he is not anymore. As long there is a ranking system the game become competitive, Against top survivors and top killers when not playing nurse/spirit most game on haddonfield/rotten Field/crotus prenn is a lose.

The game is balanced when average/bad/experienced survivors play against top killers. Once the top survivors came across top killers that's game changing, the balance become less balanced and most maps show which side is truly the most powerful.

Hillbilly is considered as the most balanced killer in the game in a sense yes but, against top survivors he is getting looped into oblivion. Last tournament on PC shows a hillbilly getting for 5 gens on Haddonfield and on ormond. The teams play as everyone should all scattered on different gens.

Once one is chased if played correctly three gens pop and you only down one if you play optimally as killer. On most maps if you reduce gens per side and do all gens on each middle of maps is a lose for the killer, he lose control and survivors have easier time to do gens due to them being far of each other. Killer have to travel far away so he doesn't have that much control.

Conclusion : survivors that understand the basic and strong strategy of how the gens should be done with that how to loop effectively. The escape would be way higher on red ranks. For a casual player the game is balanced / for competitive-tryhard player it is not.

You say the gen times are too fast except against Nurse. (Top Killer)

You say Nurse can 4K easy without even a full loadout at the highest levels of play.

Then you say the game is only balanced if it's non-top survivors against top killers. Basically if Top survivors play even Top Killers lose. But before that you said Nurse can easily slaughter top survivors.

Come on dude. Stop contradicting yourself. You're trying so hard to show that Survivors are the power role but even your own arguments contradict yourself.

That's what happens when you are forcing a narrative that isn't true.

7 minutes? Can I link you to some VODs where at rank 1 there's plenty of instances of 3 gens being done in under 2?

With some killers and maps you can have gens 80%+ done before you could spawn in and physically walk across the map to that gen (myers im looking at you) to check the discordance proc.

If the survivors bring in like 3+ toolboxes and you get a map like blood lodge and are not playing an OP killer? Good luck not getting stomped without ruin or at least corrupt intervention. They would have to be pepega to lose that.

And keep in mind, im talking about red ranks with good survivors. There are still plenty of terrible survivors in red and purple ranks who just hold W in chases and don't even try to loop. The fact I can even find survivors who never look behind them and just mindlessly toss pallets in red ranks is a sign in my opinion.

So what? I can link you to a video of a killer making mince meat of a survivor or two in under 2 at Rank 1.

The game allows for both to happen.

  • @wladimiiir said:

From my point of view, toolboxes with add-ons are the biggest issue. You can easily deny early game pressure by using them and snowball it in survivors favour. I would say either remove add-ons completely (items can be useful even without them) or make it so when killer hits you, you will drop your item (without the need to use Franklin's perk).

I'm okay with removing add-ons. I mean, killer powers can be useful even without add-ons, right?

Weird how the majority of top killers who both stream and play this game regularly at red ranks disagree with you, if you want to be competitive. Would you like to try playing a game of Trapper, Hag, Huntress, or some other B tier killers and write down your statistics compared to when you do run it?

I don't need to wear an umbrella when it rains, either. I mean, I completely understand why so many things are in such a terrible state when there are devs that honestly believe that Ruin isn't a problem and gen time isn't a problem. I just dunno what to say.

There are tons of killers on this board who don't use Ruin and play at Red Ranks.

Whether streamers play like them or not is unimportant. The fact that they exist proves that it is possible to play and win without Ruin in red. Does Ruin make it easier? Sure it does. But it's not required.

  • @DaddyJeff said:

I feel, that if a perk or special item is required to have a fighting chance to win, there is something fundamentally wrong. I feel that we should not HAVE to use ruin at high ranks to even have a fighting chance of winning. It's almost REQUIRED to play. I play both sides, and I still feel that generators go too fast. Now, I'm not sure what to change because if we make the gens slower it'll be boring for survivors, but something should be done.

Well guess what? You don't have to have Ruin to win at high ranks.

There are numerous killers who don't use Ruin and win or even get 4Ks in red ranks.

So your entire post is solved. Without you ending to do a finger! Amazing.

  • Welcome to Survivor life.

For many survivors with bad ping jumping through window vaults isn't safe because 90% of the time the killer will still hit you after you've run away a few steps from the window or pallet.

Is normal for this game. You've only noticed it now because you're no longer the host.

You´re welcome for the help =)

    No, you re-read.

  • @Gibberish said:

It doesnt need a benefit like BBQ&C. Survivors can afford to run a "non-functional" perk, as most of Survivor's power comes from base mechanics. (looping, gen speeds, ect.) Killers on the other hand cant afford to run a useless perk just for some extra BP, which is why BBQ has an additional effect and not just bonus BP.

This is coming from somebody who runs WGLF in every build. It doesnt need an additional effect. The only changes I would want for WGLF are:

-Make the "protection hit" stack trigger more consistently.

-Revert it back to its original 50% bonus per stack, rather than the 25% bonus it was nerfed to.

Strong disagree. Why should I settle for a perk that does nothing?

Let it do something. It doesn't have to be a powerful effect. I just want it to do something and not be useless or even detrimental. Elk's suggestion is fine. It does't have to be a powerful effect. Even a token effect is okay, just let it do something so it's interesting to use.

Not trying to pry but he said he believes that bbq aura reading is not so good.

Technically a mori already gives a stack because you'll need them already hooked to mori em.

Wglf does reward good play, as in getting safe unhooks and if you bodyblock for them it'll be 2 stacks.

Body blocking is a bad play unless you get a wiggle out of it. Getting a wiggle out of body blocking is extremely rare and hard to do.

    It is a bad play.

Unsafe Unhooks are good, but unless you are camping the killer and the hooks you will never get 4 stacks. The bad behavior WGLF promotes is survivors not being productive and just stalking the killer and the guy they see with Empathy running around like a headless chicken, waiting for them to get downed so they can get their stacks.

That's what WGLF encourages, because realistically getting 4 stacks is impossible unless you aim for it, often to the detriment of actually doing useful things to escape like gens.

Unlike BBQ, getting 4 stacks is easy. Just kill survivors as usual. You're doing what you should normally be doing. People say BBQ promotes non-tunneling. Before you go there, let me tell you that's nonsense. You can tunnel the 1st survivor to death and still get 4 stacks, as long as you catch everyone in the end. Tunneling makes it easier to get 4K's because you reduce the number of survivors quickly.

  • How long exactly have you been playing? If you've been playing for less than 20 hours it's normal. I am not sure when I got out of Rank 16 but I think it took at least 15 hours in the Steam count. This game has a steep learning curve and unless you are amazing player with good ping and did your proper research to learn the game, it is not easy to get up into the yellow and green ranks.

No it's not a stealth playstyle I usually will go into lockers and i unhook survivors each time even if it's not safe usually a killer will be camping them sometimes.

a generator i usually work on with another person.

Do not unhook unsafely. That loses you points in the Altruism category. You will never pip if you keep doing that. Each unsafe unhook penalizes you greatly.

Worse, it affects everyone on the Survivor team so if you do this you are dragging everyone else down as well.

To combat this, get Borrowed Time from Bill (free survivor).

WHAT?! Then your game is glitched dude, I'm a red rank and I pip doing that specific count.

Not necessarily. If everyone is doing unsafe unhooks it might be enough to crash everyone's Altruism emblem into oblivion.

That said, I sort of call BS on the post. If he's dong that much per game there's no way he isn't pipping.

  • @Pirscher said:

At least the survivor can get stacks from protection hits as well as unhooks - the killer only gets points for hooking with BBQ.. Imagine if moris were counted?

And the BBQ aura reading is not so good as its limited and easy to counter.

Its good as it is, I believe.

    What about it.

You can have Mori stacks for BBQ, don't care.

Give us something for WGLF, it is not "good" imagine if BBQ did nothing but give BP? Would you call it "good" or would you call it a piece of crap point machine?

Listen to yourself calling BBQ "not so good" but calling WGLF "good." What hypocrisy. BBQ has an actual effect and its stacks are easy to get and are part of your normal gameplay as a killer. WGLF stacks are much harder to get and the protection hits you like to puff up are detrimental to the goal of surviving and waste time and resources, basically giving the killer a free hit. It is nothing but a dead perk slot wasting one of your four precious slots and it encourages bad plays.

    What a ridiculous double standard.

How does green medkit help? A green medkit with a Styptic will result in a useless medkit that can't heal.

I doubt anyone is done with the Rift, there's no way anyone can grind Rank 70 by now.

Not gonna do Killer side, queue takes too long.

They've had mistaken stats in the past (using "rank 1" data didn't include people who depipped out of rank 1 that match) but that doesn't mean they're completely blind to what's going on.

One, they have to have some tracking of average kills on each killer, and by rank, to know how each is doing, and they've provided us with (some of) that information in the past.

Two, they have all the same access to the community we do. They hear all the complaints, they can see all the streamers demolishing with her, they can see her in their own games. I know people love tosay the devs suck at the game but we all know there's at least a few good players in there.

It's silly to deny they know how a killer is performing and that that's grounds for not nerfing something that's too strong, or too easy for the payoff it gives.

Not just that. The stats where they made a "mistake" was quickly corrected. They know the correct stats.

There are people who just refuse to believe in what BHVR says because it doesn't fit their narrative.

If a Spirit Main is saying "Spirit isn't overperforming" and the stats are wrong when the devs stated the Spirit is overperforming based on the stats, you know there's some bias there.

You guys are just bad at the demogorgon 🥶 I get at least 3k every single game with the demogorgon

All killers can easily get 3k/4k if you know what you're doing.

This doesn't mean Demo is a strong killer.

Its really hard to not compare Demogorgon to Freddy, because they have such similar powers. They are both teleporting killers with tools to help them dealing with looping. And to some extent they both offer survivors secondary objectives to distract them from generators in the form of the sleep cycle and portals removal.

But overall Freddy feels like he as the smoother, better kit. Demogorgon require more work. He need to place his portals, activate them and watch them with Killer Instinct. He need to stand on a portal to teleport, wich make reactive quick teleport much more awkward if you don't want to place a portal in the middle of nowhere. And he will most likely end up with dead portals as the game progress wich he can't remove himself.

Freddy can just teleport from anywhere, and fake teleport for mind games. Even if Dream Projection has the longer cooldown, its massively reduced by survivors being asleep and and he can use add-ons to make it even shorter.

Shred and Dream Snares are both pretty good tools for making loops more dangerous. No complaints here. Dream Pallets require more setup and can lead to a big payoff or nothing at all.

But where Freddy takes the cake his with the Sleep Cycle. The non-directional lullaby + Freddy's small size make his location very difficult to pinpoint, forcing survivor to hide or risk running into him. And its just passive. Survivors fall asleep on their own, and when you hit them. And they have to deal with snare/pallets and the various add-ons Freddy can use, or waste time trying to wake up.

On the Demogorgon's side, survivors are given the ability to close his portals. Wich mean they have to stand in detection range of the portal and suffer the Oblivious status while they do it. But Demo is a very lourd and tall killer. So the Oblivious effect is countered by having eyes and ears. And why bother closing portals when you can just rush the gen and leave the portal in a dead zone ?

Freddy's powers are just so much more convenient to use, with no slow down whatsoever and many passive benefits. Demo's kit require, setup, constant surveillance and his much clunkier and less reactive than Freddy's.

Demogorgon is a visualy striking killer and his custom TR and chase music are awesome. He is still far better than some of the lower tier killers, but he just can't quite cut it for the high tier either. His powers are just too cumbersome and hold him at the top of mid tier.

This is probably the real reason.

Freddy is just a superior version of Demogorgon in every way.

Teleporting to any gen is way better than Demogorgon's portal teleports.

Freddy also has much better add-on support. Forever Freddy is a strong build. And lastly, snares and fake pallets IMO are much more useful in a chase than Demo's shred attack.

Freddy also has built-in BT immunity.

I would imagine most killers who want to play Demo ended up playing Freddy instead. Freddy is everywhere maybe 1 in 5 matches I go up against these days is Freddy.

  • Demogorgon was a lot more common in the first week or two when Stranger Things first hit.

Nowadays only a few people actually use Demogorgon, he's a lot rarer now. This means people don't seem to really like him as a killer.

150 games without meeting him once though is just bad RNG. I fought a Demogorgon yesterday, but that was maybe 1 in 20 games. (Yes I play around 20 games or more at a time in DBD, I'm a binge player).

Yeah guy, up your game! Mochan never played a killer imo. If you face 4 survivors that are as good as you are you get stomped. The end.

To the OP. Dont worry about the 4k. Yes the hatch mechanic is completely stupid. If the last guy gets out the hatch, you won already anyway.

My favorite is the ahole survivor where no gens got done but they found the hatch before you, and they're gonna vault a window over and over until you come watch them escape, wasting your time and their own, not realizing THEY LOST, and go NEENER NANNER BOOBOO IM ESCAPING. GTFO then loser

No. if you face 4 survivors that are better than you are you get stomped.

If they are as good as you are it will be a good, close game.

Unless you are saying "Game is Survivor Sided, BHVR don't care about killers, survivors are the power role and killers can't win unless survivors make mistakes."

It's weird, NOED and Adrenaline proc, so the devs obviously believe that EGC should trigger 5 gen perks.

Actually no. NoEd and Adrenaline are not 5-gen perks. They are Exit Gate perks.

    Rancor is a 5-gen perk.
