Stun duration is 2 seconds
On top of that, there's also that animation to actually setup the pallet.

Well, I mean if that were true why would they include the ability to view Survivor's profiles? You can easily tell whose an SWF that way and dodge regardless.
That still isn't 100% correct because you can make your Steam profiles private (or even only friends)

It still something against it and after we are free you have plenty of ways of catching up and or finding us. Or are you saying that survivors get free and disappear just because of DS? It’s a perk that gives us a small chance and makes you work a little harder so killers just complain about it nonstop.
If you play afraid of DS and leave us on the ground then that’s your fault and means killers need to play with more skill.
So I guess with all the videos out there showing all the long lunges done by killers is latency on survivors ends too? Well that’s awesome all killers get the “killer” connection.
yeah because killers would let their anger issues get the best of them and they would tunnel a survivor that could run them for 3-4 gens and then there was an uproar of cries from killers so they had to change it.
No, however, DS completely stops killer's snowball potential (when he doesn't tunnel) for atleast 15-20 seconds or longer (DS into a chase).
Slugging is a tactic even high tier killers use, not only for DS.
Yes, yes it is. Those lunges (from killers perspective) happen just at the tip of the animation. Or are you saying about those lunges before dedicated?
And that is false. That is because survivors were too efficient at escaping. With all those pallets (that were mostly safe remind you) and windows you had to play badly or not know how to run to actually die.
Oh and actually
uproar of cries from killers so they had to change it.This could be potentially said about anything in this game. Ruin, old DS, Nurse, Spirit (kinda-ish). -

what is the challenge exactly? I'm not at my home computer
Make survivors scream 45 times iirc.
-
@lucid4444 said:
Hitting them and hooking them causes them to scream, no?
Oh!... That could work i think?
-
Still technically possible with Nurse? Very farmy tho...
Although yeah, this challenge is unaturally difficult for someone who doesn't buy DLCs. There should be more perks that do this base.
-
The perk is fine. It gives you an unique reward for doing a secondary objective.
If you feel too opressed by the perk try diffrent healing options? (bond, medkits, selfcare)
-
I had an idea that if a survivor destroyed a wall they instead created a window (obviously way longer than a killer takes to make a door).
-
Can any game do that?

DS can easily be hindered with Unnerving presence, as for SG/Unbreakable/Tenacity no skilled killer leaves a survivor on the ground that long and if so theres Nurses calling, Bloodlust, Whispers etc. As for the the Lunge attack and I have plenty of recordings that show proof the Lunge attack can close an ridiculous amount of distance and yes almost all killers start it on one side of the wall to wrap around to the other side to avoid a pallet stun. Both sides have their own strengths and weaknesses it’s supposed to be balanced that’s how it works but small changes can cause a shift and I’m just saying there have been some recent changes that only effect the survivors so now it’s definitely Killer favored. Maps have gotten smaller, less pallets and windows are available, jungle gyms have been removed or modified and the fact our exit doors are right next to each other on most maps with shorter maps makes no sense and given the fact how fast most killers can travel. It was just so much fun playing this game because the chases were fair, I died as much as I escaped and that’s just not the case anymore even with our amazing new perks. This area is for feedback to the developers and they hear you killers ALL the time so I wanted to give them some feedback from survivors perspective not discuss it with forum dwellers.
IIrc, Unnverving doesn't work on DS? Also, it's a mild counter even if it works. Most survivors will hit it anyways.
SG/Unbreakable/Tenacity no skilled killer leaves a survivor on the ground that long and if so theres Nurses calling, Bloodlust, Whispers etc. You're just plain wrong.
s for the the Lunge attack and I have plenty of recordings that show proof the Lunge attack can close an ridiculous amount of distance and yes almost all killers start it on one side of the wall to wrap around to the other side to avoid a pallet stun.Hello Latency, i would like to introduce you to this man.

Or are you just implying they are just "nerfing" survivors just because.
-
We need... a nerf to ds so it's actually a anti-tunnel perk.
-
I don't like it mostly because it is just a better version of Blood Favour (except tier one which you could bring to 20/22/24).
The only exception is the basic attack requirement.
-
Never... Probably.
-
I think 50% even if exhausted would be good. As in not game breaking good but still good.

Killers can keep BBQ if we keep DS, it's simple
I would rather they still change DS.

@batmanscar said:
no I want to keep it because I do not get barely any points if the survivor d\c's compared to what I spent on an ebony mori and I wasted my BP's on a mori I can't even use
You'll get less points than usual anyways because you brought a mori tho?

where you could sell/trade cosmeticsEvery cosmetic (that wasn't from old ago aka legacy) can be bought via in-game store. AND if what they said is true rift cosmetics should also become avalible after ... 9-12 months was it?

For me it’s not the camping, tunneling, etc. at all. My experience playing with Russian players has always been bad. They’re so toxic and they troll a lot. I’m not saying all of them but most of the ones I played with have been like that. Not even in this game only but the other online games I play. I’ll give you one example. I was in a match and the killer suddenly DC’d in the middle of the match. We finished all gens and I went to the exit gate to open it. This Russian player was standing there blocking it. So I go to the other gate and there too this other Russian player was doing the same thing (swf). They would not move at all. After about 10-15 mins they opened the exit gate. In the post game chat they kept talking in Russian and I could tell they were angry. When we asked them why they would do something like that??? They said because we don’t like quitters. I was sooo pissed. The killer dc’d and they decided to punish us and waste our time. So yeah, they do things that raises your blood pressure. It’s not about slugging, camping or any of these things whatsoever.
I don't want to pick on a specific party or something but yeah... Russians are so tryhardy, toxic etc. I always have terrible matches when with or against them.

Don't worry, I have problems with Left Behind and Sole Survivor too. Perks that hinge on being the last person left/letting teammates die.. not good for the health of the game. If you have rework suggestions for them, I'm open ears!
Well, it's meant to be a strong end-game perk, and the perk is called No One Escapes Death... just none of us are happy with how that executes. A large speed decrease for end-game only, that can be negated, seems balanced to me. But I'm again open to other suggestions. As long as it has nothing to do with the exposed status.
But... I don't have any problems with those perks. Well, maybe except Sole Survivor because it's super weak. If it worked on radius instead of deaths that would be neat i guess?
But the rest i really don't have an idea how to rework them because i think they're fine.

You're comparing wrong things to each other...
It would be better to compare Left Behind. Left Behind activates only when you're alone, even when no generators were completed. The Hatch is the survivor's last chance to escape.
But there's a few diffrences...
- There are 4 survivors. 3 of them must die beforehand to even activate Left Behind (or they must leave)
- NOED can sometimes never activate. Until that point the killer is playing with 3 perks (or less if he has more hexes)
Also, can I just ask, how is decreasing survivors actions by 50%, more fair? Let's say in the situation you're suggesting (when noed doesn't get destroyed) having everything be doubled (including unhooks, healing, gates, (and from what i'm assuming) vaulting is very punishing.
-
I feel like this would make too many variables?
That's 3 diffrent queues! (Crossplay, no crossplay and pc crossplay) unless we force Console only crossplay. (which i guess would make it alright!)
-
Tbh, if they just increased healing speed for obsession and vice verse it would be a decent perk.
-
Technically yes. However in most games gates don't open until everyone is ready to leave. Thus No One Left Behind doesn't activate.
-
"Since cross-play is happening, is mouse and keyboard support going to be added in?
There's no current plan at the moment."
Source: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/225-f-a-q-cross-play
-
Okay but also let's say it was implemented.
How would it work? Would it be random? Would it take most used perks per week - which then would result in probably the same perks being banned every 2 weeks -?
-
There's also that one tip from dbd mobile about facecamping. That also should get added.
-

I had someone trying to unhook themself, I got to them just as they hit struggle from it. They then led killer to me when possible and when I was on hook stood nearby so no one would come save me. I guess that's how pc plays?
I guess that player wanted to suicide, you prevented that so he decided to make your life a living hell.... because fun.

This is not a joke post. but this is born out of frustration as I am seeing even red ranks do tunnel more frequently than some people realize. I'm slightly okay with being slugged after an unhook. At least I'm somewhat givin a chance to crawl away and get picked up by a teammate. In addition I am using two perk slots. If someone doesn't tunnel you well then I just wasted a perk on D strike I think it is a little more fair than you realize. Also I want to stress, this is to prevent a style of play that many in the community (from what I can tell) don't like playing against. As I said in my post if you are going to create or use perks to punish a style of unwanted play, then it needs to actually deter people from playing that way. I am even ok with D strike being inactive during the end game collapse.
If someone doesn't tunnel you well then I just wasted a perk on D strike I think it is a little more fair than you realize. You don't know how many times (after hooking someone else) i still got dsed. Because i "tunnelled them"
-
... Idk quitting the game?
Shutting down your console?
-
Also you can unstuck yourself if you dead hard!
-
Ah so it is a reacurring issue. (hill one)
-
So M&A would mean a 24m "whispers". During chases this could be a little annoying. Has no synergy with his portals (he becomes undetectable right?)
-
Huh weird. On killer side it's your side which should determine the hits or not (mostly).

And no one has ever told me what SWF, I assumed it was a perk and I'm still thinking that. What the hell is it.
Survive With Friends.
-
Then, the one time you put out an update that seems to help, you remove itThe mmr didn't always work as intented. If it worked for you, great! But many survivors and killers were being matched with new players which resulted in matches being even worse quality than before.
-
@bjorksnas said:
I think they should give 1 rift level, that way someone who logs in and plays 1-2 matches a day can easily max out the entire rift pass on just dailys alone
That's way too much and would make challenges basically obsolete.
But a fragment should be a good boost.
-
@EuphoricBliss35 said:
Seriously, not a bait. It feels like “MMR” was code for “open matchmaking” to improve wait times. How after 100+ games I still go against Rank 20 killers with 1 perk and don’t know how to kick a gen is beyond me.
For giggles, I made a new account on PS4 (had a free ps+ code). Very first game: two Rank 1 survivors, a rank 19, me (Rank 20) vs. Rank 1 killer. How they expect this game to grow after it was doing well for a couple of months there is beyond me
If that was true i wouldn't wait 5-10 minutes for a lobby (as killer)
-
Depends on my mood! I do tend to mix and match my every cosmetic.
-
Do bones... But devs really should add a totem counter for solo players.
-
How did the game become even more survivor sided...?
Oh and it's natural for a game to get bugs. Fixing them that... let's say slowly is another topic.
-
Okay let me analyse this:
-
While in Exhaustion, you gain Endurance for 35/40/50 seconds.- So when you enter exhaustion, you gain endurance for that long. Why for that long? Soul Guard has only 8 second duration! Any hit will cause Deep Wound, and the survivor has 45/60/75 seconds to mend- This is too long to be an issue. And i know you wroteThe timer doesn't stops while mending. , however Deep Wound is a status effect. It changing how it works because of one perk would be weird.Never Give Up will work until a successful attack happens while active, then, it can not be used anymore.- Okay it might be just me but wouldn't it be better if it was tied to exhaustion itself?Being hit while Never Give Up is active causes Broken Status Effect for 16 seconds. - Why...? 16 Seconds is too short anyways (+You're in Deep Wound). But i agree it should have this kind of penalty but for way longer. Like atleast 60-80 seconds.
-
-
Progressive skins sound fun!
Although they would probably be sold as full sets. Meh, having a skin that you could change to a specific version/it changes mid-game would be neat.
-
Why would Casual mode have limits?
-
@ Antares2332 said:
Nobody would use it because it would have to run slower and if it wouldn't run slower then this game would have no realism.
Getting chainsawed, hooked, stabbed, bear trapped and then having another survivor pet you on your back is fine then?
-
@pwncxkes said:
Wait opening speed is increased when it is end game? Doesn’t end game happen when you open the gate? This making that change irrelevant?
You can open the other gate faster. +That change was likely made for "being last survivor" situation when hatch got closed.
And my 2 cents on the changes:
- Wake Up - 75% is way too much. It basically guarantees you win in that 1v1 scenario.
- Pretty smart! But i feel like this could be increased to 2 chests?
- A+. Idk how i feel about exhaustion but i guess it doesn't hasten the cd sooooo.
