Either make the perk have a really long cooldown, or make it to where if the killer and the survivor are looking in each other's direction to reveal each other's aura. The perk is a swf crutch that gives too much information
-
I'm not one to condone DC'ing but I can relate. Any time I see bps I try to earn points without killing survivors or without bullying or annoying the killer. The last time I had to deal with bps was during the summer 2xbps. All survivors put in bps, bought I didn't bother playing because they all brought toolboxes with BNP. I used pig and crouched in the basement. Game didn't even last 5 minutes and the survivors were salty because I didn't chase them yet they wanted to gen rush with 4 bps. With the way the game is now, bps isn't even ######### worth it for killers

No killer sucks the fun out of the game like GF. Completely broken mechanic, all of them camp, has no penalty to his stealth and tends to get almost as many gen grabs as prayer beads spirit. He can cancel your reveal by ducking behind a rock then pop out and stalk you to full before you can reveal him.
Awful, awful cheap feeling killer. I’d rather go against a 5 blink nurse or prayer beads spirit. Sure GF isn’t as strong but at least those killers feel less cheap.
Not trying to be cocky but if your going to complain about him getting grabs than you might wanna start increasing your awareness. Multiple times I have evaded getting grabbed simply because I look and listen for clues.

Nurse. She is terrible to even try and learn on Console. Especially in Red/Purple ranks.

I agree with you. I tried learning the nurse but I got depressed. After 4 games with her I gave up and I played a sweet game of my man doctor and remembered why I love this game.
Don't do nurse kids. It's bad.
As a former Nurse main that learned her on console before switching to PC, she's worth learning in the end simply because all the practice she requires to learn her pays off really well when you master her. The world's top nurse mains will tell you that the best way of understanding how to use Nurse is to take the spanking
-
While the game is unbalanced I simply stopped playing because
Solo survivor is too boring, while swf makes the game way too easy
Killer is too damn stressful to play, and I don't like going into a match just have it end in 5 minutes and I don't wanna get burned out playing the same high tier killers
-
Be the better person and don't react to toxic gameplay. Survivors that are being toxic are doing it to get to you and to have their own fun. Ignore them, let them be toxic or obnoxious. Weather you kill them or not they'll be upset because they didn't get the attention they wanted. As for the survivor meta your talking about just either deal with it or stop playing the game. The devs spoil survivors and treat us killers like ######### because our existence in the game annoys survivors. Killer community is decreasing, let the queue times be a learning lesson for the survivors and the devs

I have been playing around with her for about a month. I'm the reason survivors think EZ game when they hear a nurse.
I'm really struggling with blinks at middle distances. Sometimes I'm not even close . I'm going to keep working on her though. But it's a grind..I wish there was a mode where I could practice blinking at specific distances. Something similar to a golf driving range.

Have you used the cloth addon that shows you where you'll blink to? for me it's a lifesaver.
As a former Nurse main I suggest not getting use to that add-on (it's called Plaid Flannel). While it's good for learning blink ranges it won't make you better with Nurse simply because
You become focused on the marker and not the survivor. You need to study and predict survivors with Nurse, you'll be keeping more of an eye out on the where your going to land vs where the survivors are going be to get a hit
Your not building muscle memory! Most nurse mains like myself learned her blink ranges with out that add-on simply because of muscle memory. I hate saying this when people need advice but the best way to learn muscle memory with her is 'PRACTICE' once you feel confident about not having Plaid Flannel

How do you do it? The sensitivity was so debilitating when I played as her, I haven't touched her in months. How do you do with Huntress, because she has a similar console aim problem? I'm bad with her as well.
Nurse on console is a pure guessing game because of the FPS. Before I switched to PC I learned and mained Nurse on console and the difference in my gameplay is that on PC she has enough frames to react to survivors on PC because of the sensetivety. On console you have to spend more time studying survivors and guessing their movements. If you want more time to react to survivors use Shadowborn (use this perk with caution, it is dangerously addicting) so you can have a increased FOV so that by the time survivors start juking, you can have more reaction time
-
I think Trapper should start with all of his traps
As for Nurse I would remove the CD of her blinks because it's too much of a punishment since she controls how long her fatigue time lasts

I know that this will piss many people off, but honestly, i feel like the games have gotten much more "balanced" in the way that developers mean (2 escapes, 2 hooks). Before ruin my team would succeed every third/fourth game, but now its actually more balanced. Even as killer, while obviously much more stressful, you can still 4k many games.
I know however there is problems with emblems and stuff (and what defines a win).
The only thing i have felt an impact of is the rise of camping insidious bubbas, lol, see these all the time pretty much.
The thing i would like to see to make the games a little less stressful for the killers would be to increase the number of gens needing to be completed depending on mapsize. If the map is incredibly huge, maybe you need to fix 7 gens instead of 5. That would atleast help with issues concerning map sizes.
But all an all, i actually like new ruin. What is your opinons on the matter? To big of a nerf, other ideas on what should be fixed, etc?
Person with a blown off limb bleeding out = gen speed
Tourniquiet = old ruin
The devs took a tourniquiet off a person with a blown off limb without treating the blown off limb. While I really like your idea and think it should be tested, I feel that gen speeds would still be too fast
-
Been saying this for awhile now. Survivors don't have enough objectives while killers have too many

I’ve gotten in a match recently where i couldn’t get rid of the deepwound effect because i was in madness tier 3 and had to snap out of it first.
does anyone else have this problem because that was pretty annoying to go against
That's the purpose of T3 Madness, it's suppose to stop your from doing any actions besides unhooking and healing teammates (I think)

Let's go over tunneling and camping shall we? People toss those words around a LOT on here. So let's be clear
Examples of camping:
Staring at the hooked survivor and revving a chainsaw face to face
Scaring off survivors but refusing to chase in order to protect one hook
Staying within heartbeat range of hook the whole time despite seeing no-one
Here are examples of NOT camping:
Chasing a survivor near a hooked survivor (guy being chased needs to leave the area and loop somewhere else so a buddy can unhook)
Seeing someone go for a save and chasing them. (Assuming the killer wasn't doing the above camping beforehand) If they SEE you. They are going to chase you and smack someone when you unhook. It's called "unsafe unhooking" verified by the fact that there are bloodpoint rewards for "safe unhook" and the game punishes you for performing unsafe unhooks rank-wise. Read the emblems for altruism.
Bouncing between nearby gens and the hook. That's patrolling. Wait for him to go for a gen. Then unhook. Simple.
Examples of tunneling
Seeing a survivor and running past them to hit someone else
Ignoring a body block to try to get to someone else
Here are examples of NOT tunneling:
Seeing you run up to the hook and following you but hitting the unhooked guy instead (he took a chance on BT triggering. If the unhooker was healthy then the killers choices were a 2 hit down on the unhooker, or a 1 hit down with a chance of BT... Easy choice)
If you get off the hook and walk or run into the killers view on accident or on purpose and he chases you.
If you get off the hook and the killer downs and hooks someone else then finds and downs you. Not tunneling. If they hit someone, pick them up, put them on the hook, find you, chase you, and down you again. That's. Not. Tunnelling. The whole time they were killing your friend was plenty of time for you to get away. Please explain that to whoever coded DS.
Did I miss anything?
I like to leave my TR at the hook for maybe a solid 10 seconds just in case survivors wanna do a insta save and I can keep pressure on survivors by going after the rescuer

For the hatch specifically, no, but we are working on the first phase of disconnection handling (disconnection penalties) and hope to test it against shortly.
What about survivors leaving a husk behind when they DC? Or is it just another "######### killers and everything about y'all" thing?

You will develop slugging and juggling skills when you face camp an over altruistic swf at red ranks. Its harder then you think if they are an optimal swf.
Your preaching to the choir buddy
-
I just tell them that they can't get better if they just camp and move on. Can't tell someone how to play but you can tell that they aren't skilled
-
This is why I quit playing the game. I got myself in a mindset that points is all that matters. Doesn't matter if I get a 4k or no kills at all, and than survivor's do this ######### that devs don't even bother fixing.

Aye can someone react to this so I can back and watch this video please

I'll defo try it out, thank you for the build!
Be careful with Shadowborn, on Nurse it's a good perk to keep track of survivors when you go into fatigue. But the perk is very addictive. I got recommended the perk when I picked up Nurse and I'm now 'ADDICTED' to the perk. I can't play any other killer without it.
I recommend BBQ, Nurse's Calling, Make Your Choice, Shadowborn (use with caution and this perk is optional) this is the build I used once I started getting comfortable with Sally. Stay away from her Plaid Flannel add on because you become more focused on the marker and not the survivor your chasing. Nurse is the slowest moving character in the game and requires her to study and predict survivors.
I'm going to spit some hard facts at you. NOBODY CAN TELL YOU HOW TO PLAY NURSE UNTIL YOU LEARN HER BLINK RANGES, master her blinks before you start preforming the advice we give you.
Good luck out there mate, and happy Nursing
-
If you can use Nurse than you can pick up Spirit with ease. Nurse taught me 2 things
Predict what survivors are going to do or where they are going to go
LISTEN
Rin takes skill imo because when she's phasing she has to rely on the information the survivors give her. Those that say she takes no skill are simply the ones that are mad at the fact that she can't be looped, or that they can't tell if she's phasing or not
-
BBQ & Chilli is a tracking perk, why do survivors need to track the killer?
-
I feel that interrupting actions (grabs) shouldn't trigger DS because they don't wanna use their anti slug perks
-
They've already been nerfed. Before you the killer could Mori you without even hooking you
-
I personally don't care about the pip system. As a survivor if everyone escapes or if I die I consider that a win. As a killer so long as I kill one of the survivors, that's a win in my book because survivors are suppose to work together to win
-
Nobody wants to play a game where your extremely stressed out because your severely limited on your choices were even the right choice still means losing. Not only that the devs are making killers irritating to play. Imo the ruin changes isn't the only reason why we killers are being driven away. Ruin allowed us to play in a non toxic way. Slugging is now justified for killers and survivors hate being slugged. I mostly play for points but I don't wanna play in a way that pisses survivors off to were they DC because they aren't having fun
-
As a former Nurse main, her nerf made her irritating to play, she's not even worth playing anymore. She's still the best and strongest killer's but she's very annoying to play
-
Not really! I just glance at the post game chat. If they are making jokes, I laugh with them, if they are being salty with each other I just move on
-
Being toxic isn't going to solve anything, all it'll do is give the devs a reason to nerf killer's further and we don't need that. Most of our brothers and sisters already quit. This is what Almo wanted, now let her learn from her survivor bias dumbass mistake
-
I wouldn't be surprised if it did. BHVR is catering to the baby survivor's (which make's half of it's community) and literally telling the killer community(other half) to ######### off. Yes the game does need to be balanced but if they keep on disrespecting and ignoring killer's, I wouldn't be surprised. Last Year is already looking better than this game
-
Get use to it, Nurse main's on console are rare because she's the least used killer on console. Get use to the hate mail though if your gonna use nurse because console survivor's want free escapes from her but can't handle being defeated by her
-
Killer: Very very fuckinging stressful
Survivor: Too easy

Don't mind aven. Survivor main bias is so strong i doubt he or she even plays the game. They spend far more time slinging bs about these under powered survivors who have been nerfed so hard.
Meanwhile if they do actually play i can guarantee they use every top tier meta perk while they gen rush the hell out of some rank 13 killer.
It's no surprise to me buddy. I even read the persons post above mine and could tell that person was survivor bias. I wanted to react to them but it wasn't worth it because they aren't gonna realize that over the supposed year's survivor's were nerfed, there gameplay or mechanics didn't change, yet while you nerf a killer or there core perks, there gameplay and/mechanics change
-
Body Blocking is a strat for survivor's that the devs have justified. As a killer main I hate body blocker's because it's frustrating to deal with when all you want are your main source of points

-
Her sounds and lunge are back. She's been fixed.
-
As a killer main, I'm tired of the devs treating us like ######### and not considering things from a killer's POV. The devs have Royally ######### killer's over and if this domino affect continues, the killer community as a whole will quit

I am a rank 8 killer. I dont how but i am. Not a lot of bloodpoints go into my killers. They all stay around lvl 15. My highest is Legion at lvl 20. I manage to get a 4k 6/10 times and manage to kill 1-2 people the other games. I have never, and i mean NEVER, used ruin. Not even before "nerf". Why do some of you relie on Ruin to fall back on? Just use Corrupt! And if you are a M1 killer and dont want a large map, use an offering.
- Your a rank 8 killer. Your facing survivor's who are still trying to get a grip on the game and will make mistakes which killer's have to capitalize on.
- Unless your Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Oni, or Freddy ruin really isn't needed for these killer's because they have great-excellent map pressure. And killer's who aren't them will literally suffer because by the time they get their first hook, 2-3 gens will pop
- Once you reach red ranks it doesn't matter what killer you are, make 1 mistake and that heavily punishes the killer.
- Corrupt Intervention is a mediocre perk because once survivor's see that the perk is active, they usually hide until the 2 minutes is up and it's a pain and a WASTE OF TIME looking for hiding survivor's
Truthfully Ruin enabled killer's to play in a non-toxic way. With these ruin changes, slugging is gonna be more frequent and survivor's tend to DC because "slugging isn't fun/shouldn't be a thing", mori's are probably going to be more frequent, and killer's are going to use overpowered add-ons.
I myself am a killer main, and I only used ruin when I got to rank 6 (when you start dealing with red rank survivor's) so I didn't have to slug or be a a**hole killer. I do play survivor but it gets boring with the lack of skill involved with survivor. Some of you survivor main's really need to get to the red ranks with killer and y'all will understand why killer's are so frustrated with the ruin changes

LOOL, Dude if you are camping, am most def better than you
maybe you the one need to get better and start making some map pressure to stop gens from getting fixed
Lmao. When did I say that I camped? When did I complain about not applying map pressure? When did I complain about gens? I was a Nurse and Spirit main. I have nothing to complain about besides survivor's that DC because they can't handle being out played and than complain to get a killer nerfed. Check yourself before you check me.
-
Nurse
Before they nerfed her than she became irritating to play so I now I no longer have a fovoriite/main killer
-
Post-phase Lunge bug + Sound bugs = Annoying killer to play
Plus you shouldn't be worried about Spirit, you should be worried about the killer community since queue times have sky rocketed

A killer questions to survivor: Why do y'all complain instead of putting in the effort to get better?

Lmao I have been avoiding shadowborn for that exact reason.
It started back when I was on console and a Wraith main, used wraith for a month straight and was constantly running Shadowborn. Than I picked up Nurse and was told to use shadowborn on her and so I did. Got my PC tried playing killer without Shadowborn and ended up getting motion sickness without using the perk. One of these days imma have to put in the effort to get unaddicted. to that perk

Yes if you play with only 3 perks you have to try hard to win.
I played with 2 perks really. Dying Light and BBQ. I have a heavy addiction to shadowborn and it has literally affected me mentally when I play killer.
-
Welcome to being a killer brother/sister! You would think that, survivor's are suppose to feel the anxiety and stress, but they don't simply because of how weak certain killer's are and the fact that the strong killer's are getting nerfed.
-
I couldn't agree with you more! Even though I ran Dying Light as well. If Ruin was cleansed within 10 seconds of the match, I had to play like a ######### and slug so I could build pressure. If I got maybe 1 or 2 hook while ruin was up, I was completely fine with ruin being gone
-

If you don't want to get hit by DS then you slug them... Hence two on a hook and one slugged but for you that situation isn't good enough lol
So what your saying is that killer's should be punished for being killer's? I'm not gonna keep track of 60s while I chase 2 other survivor's. Not only that survivor's tend tyo DC when they are slugged
-
Not really! I find survivor really boring and easy since there is nothing challenging about it.
As a killer main, Ruin changes are going to make killer a lot more stressful and unfun due to my playstyle. I like for everybody to get as many points as they can get. If gens go by incredibly fast without some way to slow them down early match, there's no way to get many points
-

If you use your ears and eyes you'll know where he is
