As your fellow Kate main I AGREE. We've suffered far too long, BHVR and their Anti-Kate agenda has shown. It is no longer in speculation.
Everytime we get a new head for Kate, it ONLY goes with what it came with OR THEY LINK IT.
We've got recolors of her base head or that ugly ponytail and almost nothing else until thy released the Flower in the Dark head.
Because EVERY other head she gets has SOMETHING ON IT like PURPLE RIBBONS ( there is only one purple outfit ) or they just slap a hat on her base hair.
Fully agree, it's really upsetting.
-
Kate's outfit looks so gorgeous with the flower crown, i'm just begging at this point for BHVR to just unlink that headpiece :<
-
I like most old stuff in dbd as well (old maps, animations, billy and freddy from the top of my head) but i wouldn’t say everything about old dbd was good. Infinites, 5 blink nurse, Legion, Spirit… big yikes :x

I was mostly trying to say that NOED defenders can't be reasoned with, and are a waste of time. (Like, look at the post above mine).
I‘d just completely stop trying to reason with that guy. Nothing but the most questionable takes, pretty aggressive,salty/rude tone. Name really checks out.

Its an old glitch that got fixed for people who didnt already unlink their cosmetics so the ones you see are players that did it before the patch and as long as they dont change any attire i think itll stay. Its a bug that cant be called an exploit as it has no gameplay advantage just looks silly as hell.
No, players that did it before they "fixed" it were automatically reset to default after one game and currently that's still what happens. So it's still possible (thankfully) but you have to redo the glitch after every game.
-
That kind of tunneling like in the video is just hella cringe. She literally went out of her way to look for him again after getting saved for the second time from the basement when she could've probably really easily got a down there as well. Obviously it's not surprising she had NOED.
Why even play Pig if you're just gonna spend the entire game chasing the guy with the trap?

Damn, I almost thought a killer main made a positive post for once without complaining. I was wrong.
Me too, really should have known better since almost every killer main here is just constantly whining about something.
-
Would have saved up for the upcoming Kate skin but since thats going to be auric cells only i spent shards for 2 Mikaela cosmetic pieces.
-
Because of clipping issues of course! I mean look at this:
/s
-
Let them be mad, just makes it more satisfying after having to endure a super boring game.
-
Definitely the old maps, especially asylum and coldwind. The reworked ones just look so dull/lifeless.
-
If we get rid of scratchmarks as well, why not =)
-
She's not OP or anything but i find vsing her very dull because as you said, when playing against her for the most part you have to hold W
-
I typically rotate between Nea, Meg, Yun-Jin, Mikaela, Nancy and Kate
These days i'm only playing Mikaela though, she's so adorable and i really love her newest outfit.
-
Fun way to save teammates and actually requires good timing and precision.

Hope you enjoy long survivor Quees cause this type of "Everything's totally fine" attitude is why a lot of killers are leaving.
I love how it's always Killer mains bringing up those supposedly long queues but never the Survivor mains themselves lmao.
Insta queues during the day and never longer than 5 minutes during the evening/night.
-
Clipping is the absolute weakest excuse for linked sets when you can literally use non linked cosmetic pieces together and cause it to look like this:
For headpieces too since to this day they refuse to unlink Kate's flowercrown and Yunjin's ponytail
It's just pure greed.

Wow. damn, that's harsh. it is not just me you know? It's most people, survivors just busted.
Well sorry but i don't think i have seen anyone complain as much as you recently. Judging by your other thread a few minutes ago it seems you have barely played Survivor. Sure, killer is more stressful than Survivor is but i heavily disagree that it's as bad as you make it sound like all the time in your threads.
Anyway, enjoy your break
-
Good I guess, then the front page here won't be full of your constant whining threads about Survivors for a while.

Oh YAY! Who's your bias?
Mine was Yeji and Lia, but Ryujin is starting to push through them for me. I love their new album and LOCO is such a bop.
Lia and Ryujin! Lately i've been finding myself getting bias wrecked by Yuna, love them all though. But honestly my bias just keeps rotating especially after every comeback lmao, they're so talented! Couldn't agree more about LOCO and the album, Sooo lucky is probably my favorite bside from it.
-
Yun-Jin, Nea, Meg and Nancy are my most played survivors currently.
For Killer i main Pig.
@Mazoobi said:
Yun-Jin.
Her character was written so differently than most other survivors and I think it's a nice breath of air to include a survivor who is not fond of working with others or has a selfish demeanor. I also like KPOP so there's that. Does anyone here listen to ITZY? :O
For killer, twins. I love the idea of having a pair of siblings cooperating to hunt their prey.
Yes, i love ITZY! Following them since their debut. I never would have thought to come across someone here on this forum who likes ITZY or Kpop in general.
-
1) Revert the Realm Beyond (including the animations and HUD)
2) Unlink sets for original characters at least
3) Lara Croft as a Survivor

That's the thing, when a survivor is said to bring a perk to counter something on the killer side then that is a big no no.
But the killer has to bring constantly perks to counter stuff on the survivor side 🤷🏼♂️
The thing is that people are getting to used to their perks that they don't want or can't adept to a different playstyle with different perks.
A survivor can easily escape without perks and/or items, so to switch 1 perk for something to find totems easier shouldn't be a problem.
And tbf you don't even have to use a perk, you can just bring a map to find totems as well 😉
Well, when i said i'm not fond of the idea of having to bring perks to counter something, by that i was actually speaking for both Survivor and Killer. A balance problem in general tbh.
Fine, the totem finding problem aside, it's still problematic how much a camper/tunneler can benefit from this perk, survivors lack the time to find and cleanse them when they should be rushing gens in that situation. It's such a cheap playstyle and the killer actually gets rewarded there for playing scummy.

My way of playing as a solo is that i just adept to the other survivors.
If they go down fast i will try to do either saves and healing, but if someone else is doing that then I'll be on gens.
I see people on gens?
Then I'll be either totem hunting (and on a gen if 1 is close to it) or I'll be keeping the killer busy.
If i see multiple people running around looking for totems (you can tell as they ignore gens) then I'll be on gen duty or what i described in the first option.
I don't mind dying and will sacrifice myself for the team, but even that doesn't happen a lot.
Most of the times its a 3 or 4 man escape or i get out alone.
And yes there are definitely games where i get outplayed and won't escape, but that's just the way of the game.
If i get hit by noed, i can only laugh about it especially if it's a terrible killer.
Simply because we as a team just messed up and i was on the receiving end at that point.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2651667#Comment_2651667
Rpd should just get removed or reworked entirely, that's a map that doesn't fit and belong in dbd at all.
It's a terrible map for both sides.
Midwich the spawns are not that terrible if you ask me.
But perks like counterforce, small game or hunch can help massively with that, or even a map. 😉
Never liked the idea in this game of having to bring a perk to counter something, in this case for something the killer might not even have and you having wasted time you could have spent doing gens and progressing the game which is extremely important against a good killer. I have to disagree about Midwich not having godtier totem spots sometimes, had a NOED huntress on Midwich yesterday and 3 survivors went around the school on both floors and outside to look for it. Absolutely no sign of it. What some others have suggested about removing the surprise effect and letting survivors know that the killer has NOED would make the perk still not perfect but a bit more fair to play against imo.
-
Have fun cleansing all 5 totems on garbage maps like RPD and Midwich where by the time you have found all the killer has already won the game.
-
I support Survivors teabagging and especially if they click while doing so. Don't give up Survivors, teabag the ######### outta these fools.
-
I just know that for these 3 days, i'll be spamming map offerings every single game.
-
Nah, if Survivors are unable to bring map offerings then killers shouldn't be able to do so either. Going against a wraith with silent bell and all seeing for example along with a Lery's/Hawkins offering is also boring as ######### to verse.
Disabling them all together would be more fair.
-
Body is 1 character too short.

I swear whenever I want to play hillbilly I get indoor maps and whenever I want to play Nurse I get corn maps, it's the worst lol.
Yeah at times i really do think they implented a system that automatically gives you the map that's the worst for the Killer you're playing lmao

i assure you my timing was not off, one fo them was against a nemesis and he straight up walked threw the pallet. i threw it on him, had the stun sound and got the stun points. he was not in animation lock as he was walking threw the pallet to get to a hook.
i will make a clip next time it happens, i assure you i have not messed up the timing, the nemesis was walking in motion.
Not entirely sure but i feel like it's an issue with Nemesis. The other day i got the stun points and clearly heard the sound as well yet Nemesis was still able to use his whip and down me with it.
Really weird.
-
Absolutely terrible.
Good thing custom portraits are a thing.
-
No longer possible but i loved these cosmetic combos so much :c
-
@some_guy1 said:
i guess it's a set cause his hair would cause a bunch of clipping issues with other cosmetics
Already a thing with some hairstyles that are not part of sets so i doubt it's that.
-
Same here. I'm a Survivor Main but would play Killer from time to time before MMR was a thing, mainly Pig.
Now however i'll probably just play Survivor only and completely give up on playing Killer because i'm getting the same kind of players you are getting as well. Comp wannabes bringing the strongest items, map offerings etc.. Goes without saying that these matches don't go well at all when you're Pig and i'm not interested in having to hardcore sweat every single game, playing Spirit or learning Nurse just to stand a chance against these teams.
-
Kinda have to agree about MYC. It's not that uncommon for me to see people who run MYC go straight back to hooks mostly as Nurse/Spirit or Wraith with Windstorm to get another easy down. You're not able to hide most of the time because they like to stay just in range for MYC to proc and immadiately return. I don't really think that it's problematic but a playstyle that's extremely boring to go against.

I believe this is intentional, the laceration meter doesn't automatically go away when you are put into the dying state, it's just that whenever you M1 someone or down them using blades; the laceration meter is usually depleted automatically by those actions
This seems like a neat 'tech' of sorts that you've discovered here.
@Skittlesthehusky said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/279914/is-this-intended-or-a-bug
nope. it doesn't decay upon using DS or anything else. your meter begins to decay after you've been left alone for a long period of time (typically about 20-30 seconds depending on the add-ons used)
it only completely resets after you've gotten downed.
Ah okay thanks, good to know. Guess the better play in this situation would be to just get slugged or only force the DS when he barely hit you with his knifes before so you can actually make some distance after the stun.
-
@shalo said:
You want the meter to reset when you DS? DH, DS, BT, stretched res and you want even more advantages to escape Trickster.
Oh, it's you crying about Survivors again. Shocker.
All i did was ask a simple question, nowhere did i complain about Trickster.
-
If i understood correctly, the people affected by this issue will still get the grade rewards (additional 500k) once they fix it.
At least i hope so lmao. Imagine getting punished for playing their game.
-
I'm on PC. Despite restarting after some time i still didn't get any rewards.
Whats really mindblowing to me though is how they managed to make everyone's game crash lmao.
-
No as Survivor, pretty much every match became a pure sweatfest, it's basically forced comp dbd for me rn and it's also not that uncommon to face the same players again.
I haven't tried Killer yet, i will get to that eventually but i'm not looking forward to it.
-
No, I've seen this suggestion quite a lot and i'm still against it simply because i wouldn't want to see the same survivors all the time, this would kill the variety completely.
-
The pallet change was so unnecessary and is a huge downgrade imo. Nobody asked for it.
-
Don‘t have to wonder when my queues are almost always instant anyway.
-
That's great news
-
Yes, both animations and maps. They were so much better.

Nope

Fair enough, I get why people dislike PH, I’m not sure why I find him ok. My problem with Pig is that most of them are like that lol.
I guess i'm lucky with the Pig players i get then lol. But yeah, occasionally i also get that hardcore tunneling pig or double slowdowns for boxes and a huge map. It's obnoxious to play against.
-
Almost fully agree but i'd put Pyramid Head at garbage tier, out of all the killers that can create a "doomed if you do, doomed if you don't" scenario he's the worst to face for me and extremely unfun. Most of the time you could just hold M2 then cancel and get a hit anyway. Not to mention his ability to easily tunnel you out of the game without even having to worry about DS and BT. The "nerf" to his cages didn't do much, it's not hard to tell at all where the cage will spawn.
And i find Pig very fun to face actually, as long as it's not one of those Pig players who constantly go after the trapped guy.
