Like the title suggests, killers whose powers revolve around them being able to easily injure many survivors constantly shouldn't benefit from thanatophobia. It should still trigger from M1 hits, but allowing it to trigger off of M2 free real estate health states, is extremely frustrating. And with the buff to the perk in the next patch it will only make frustrating games even worse. I am a sure other people have experienced how quickly in SoloQ, your teammates give up when they see the dreaded thana light up against either of these two killers.
I've never had an major issues going against either killer. Weather they have it or not. Plus the thing I like about most Legion players at least with the ones I have played against. They don't usually go after the same person till they are dead before going after another survivor and I appreciate that cause having a killer go after u and noone else till u are dead even when there are other survivors nearby can be very annoying at times.

Just an observation, but I'd estimate 80% of console players can't hear the hatch when it's open. I've watched them walk circles around it and also been taken there by the killer and then they run away. Not to mention this would be impossible to notice for hearing impaired users. The hatch should have either a visual indicator, or something else so people can find it without audio.
I agree, I feel like the hatch should light up if u get within a few feet of it. I never hear the sound of the hatch at all when I play on the Switch. Only time I find the hatch is when the killer drops me near it.

BHVR thinks we're going to stop using self-care just because it takes 30 minutes to heal. Nay. I will throw every game. Leave my team on every hook. Just so that I can self-care (WITHOUT BOTANY!!!)
I did not use self-care religiously before, but now I will only use it. My team wants to heal me? Nay. I will heal myself. My team has Circle of Healing? NAY!! I will heal myself in the corner where I know I am safe. Even if the killer has sloppy butcher I will not stop healing. I will self care all day, every day.
Self care has, is and always will be one of my go to perks as it's convient not having to use a med kit to heal in matches.

I'm very interested in trying out the new perks.
Having Self-Care, Technician, Calm Mind and Were Gonna Live Forever on all my characters so I can level and prestige them all without having to wait for them to learn those skills thru grinding bloodwebs which takes forever to learn them all on a character.
Plus I can finally use every survivor in the game with those perks on them instead of being limited to the 4 or 5 I have that do.

How come at end game when you're 2 inches from the exit gate (where you lightly tap W and exit the game), I have to literally smack you out of the game ? Wouldn't it be quicker, easier, and just more fun to go to the next round to get BP instead of wasting everyone's time standing there like huntchback of Notre Dame?
I've seen survivors do that but never would myself. Once I am thru the exit gate. I am leaving the match, only reason I would stay in the match is to try and save a hooked survivor and get them to the exit gate as long as the hook isn't on the other side of the map greatly decreasing my chances of making it back if I risk saving them.

It only makes sense when survivors are generally superior than killers tbh.
Depends on what perks the killer has on. Some killer perks make it very easy to take out survivors.

Only for 1st hook. 2nd hook is pretty much like a stun, except it can be ended when you are unhooked.
2nd hook being like a stun I can agree with. Just not first one.

Oh, so by the same logic, I say if you use DS, Dead Hard, Borrowed Time or med-kits, syringes and map offerings it means you're bad at playing survivor, because in the end of the day it's because you don't know how to win without using second chance perks, or how to find others to get healed instead of using an item that gives than a free heal, or how to win in other map instead of the one most favorable for you.
DS, Dead Hard, flashlights, BT, god-pallets, map offerings, green toolboxes, BNP, purple med-kits, syringes and body-blocking to protect survivors are not and should not be part of the game because it makes the game less fun for the killer and it shouls the survivor is a mean disrespectful person who would rather use unbalanced and stressful things to win than win honest and fairly.
It sounds really stupid, doesn't it? It's the same logic you're applying.
Even the best killer players camp, and I can even show you videos of people camping in the highest skill tournaments. Some of the most skilled streamers, like Otzdarva and Dowsey, camp and tunel too. If the killer camps, it means they realized it's the best route to victory, not that they are "bad". There is no rule saying camping is "not normal gameplay" or "dirty" and THE DEVS THEMSELVES confirmed camping and tuneling are legitimate strategies.
And as you can see, a lot of things survivors use and do are unfun for the killer to. Hell, survivors who do gens efficiently and fast are the most unfun thing to face in the game. But guess what, survivors do it to win, and that is fine, just like killers use their strategies to win. No one is a "mean disrespectful person" for not sacrificing their own fun and victory for the fun and victory of the people they are supposed to play against in first place. Stop judging others for your made up rules.
All those things u listed about survivors are stuff survivors should be doing to win matches. If it ruins the Killer's fun, there's nothing that can be done about it. U think camping has a place in the game where as I do not. I also call things as I see them. Weather something is part of a game or not, if doing it comes off as a mean or dirty tactic to someone like me. No matter what u say to justify it is not gonna change my way of thinking even if professional streamers and tournament DBD players do it. That is not gonna make me dislike it any less.
I have a right to an opinion and to dislike something in a game and vent about it weather we agree or disagree.

"the normal way" and there it is yet again the preconceived notion of the way you want to play being right, normal etc thus trumping how anyone else might play.
Normal DBD also involves camping and tunneling its part of the game.
One could argue its becoming more normal because survivors don't know how to outplay it and often get so upset that they make bad decisions thus throwing the game.
You are making assumptions about your opponent based solely on an in game mechanic that you don't like. That's a recipe for upsetting yourself and has nothing to do with your opponent.
If ur playing it the honest and fair way camping is not part of it. If u are playing dirty, camping becomes part of it. No matter how many times someone tries to justify it or say it's part of the game. It's not, it is something people do to make one survivor suffer while the others get to play the match normally and not have to worry about the killer at all. Getting bloodpoints for finishing generators all while u are stuck on the hook and can do nothing. How is it fair to do that to any one survivor in the game. It's not and that is why there should be a penalty that comes with doing it.
Also there's no other justifiable reason for doing camping other than it's a dirty tactic employed by people who don't want to play the game as it should be played and to ruin one Survivor's match. U can disagree with me all u want but at the end of the day camping is, was and always will be a dirty tactic by killers.

You have time (60 seconds for each stage), you don't have to arrive at the hook within 10 seconds. If survs are already within 10 meters of the hook immediately after the hook is complete, that's just poor surv play, flat out. I would argue the only reason for this is either the survs are babies, or they are hook farming. Both survs on the hook and their teammates would do well to remember this (I play almost more surv than killer, so I know how this goes).
If this is you and the killer as they're leaving the hook, you have screwed up:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/7Q4X2BSUOI8O/driving-umbrella-academy.gif
If a team demonstrates they are all going to just drop what they're doing and beeline for the hook every time, and the killer waits for a few seconds before leaving, that's on the survs. It's like if your're fishing and the fish just throw star throwing themselves out of the water. Why would you cast again? It's noob play to immediately hookbomb.
The inverse of this is hooked survs sending themselves to second stage because their team doesn't immediately start coming when they are hooked. That's a sign of inexperience in the same vein as survs who let go of the gen and run the seconds they hear the terror radius.
If the killer is a true camper, they're not going anywhere regardless. But with most killers, waiting 15-30 seconds will result in the killer leaving the area and allows for a safe unhook. Rushing for hook saves is a rookie mistake and results in a large number of "camping" complaints.
Killers who camp usually don't wait 15-30 mins and than leave the hook unprotected. They stay there till u are dead or someone saves u but gets taken out.

@Thusly_Boned said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3063998#Comment_3063998
True to a point, but context matters. Are there are other survs right there immediately doing nothing but waiting for the killer to leave? If so, it's not really camping. Not only that, but the team isn't good. A camp when the team is hookbombing/being overly altruistic is a survivor flaw, not a killer flaw. The team has to give the killer a reason to leave the vicinity of the hook.
Is it in the end game? If so, of course they're going to camp, as the odds of catching and downing any other health survivor else are super slim. Once the gates are powered, anything goes. If they're hooked near an opened or 99'ed gate, camping is the only play.
But if the killer just immediately starts face camping everyone they hook right from the jump regardless of whether or not the rest of the team is working on objectives, then I agree it's probably a no/low skill player desperately clinging to their one kill because they don't feel confident they can get another.
Survivors who wait for the killer to leave a hook instead of attempting to save the survivor on the hook are people who are only in the match for themselves. Survivors are suppose to help each other and repair generators. If one is just sitting by not doing anything to help the person being hooked and watching them die while the killer camps them are not a team player.
I have had survivors in game run to the hook to save me when a killer is camping it only to stop in their tracks, hide and just wait for me to die on the hook and pretend to try and save me at the last second from the hook to make themselves look good when it's too late to save me while others worked on generators. I hate survivors like that they make me want to leave the match but I stick it out for the bloodpoints.

If killers aren't supposed to be able to hear the survivor all the time due to a perk, that's called unfair, especially in the game where sounds are really important.
Killer should be able to hunt them weather they are making noise or not. Survivors should have a perk that makes them silent when equipped especially since it's usually impossible for a survivor to hide and heal while injured when they are making noise.

As a killer you lose fully loud survivors all the time, because your own sounds and chase music is blasting in your ears.
100% sound reduction was pretty unfair, 75% is still good enough, but at least gives the killer a fighting chance.
And now its a meaningful choice: to I stay and immerse or use my exhaustion perk and zoom off, but not "zoom ofc and then immerse".
Wasn't unfair at all for it to be 100%, u aren't suppose to be able to hear the survivor at all when they have it on which makes it really easy to get around the map and avoid the killer.
Add to that there are other killer perks that make it easier for the killer to find a survivor even with Iron Will on so nerfing it makes little to no sense.

Its perfectly fine to feel that way about camping... however,
If I could add a few points for thought.
Someone choosing to camp doesn't make them a bad player, in fact sometimes camping is the best choice of tactic. Knowing when to do so or not takes a bit of game sense.
You can build around hook defence and some killers excel at it, making it often the smarter play when playing certain killers. i.e. insidious bubba, basement shack trapper, 3 gen hag, etc. These builds can pay off big and be a lot of fun to play.
Not everyone who camps is angry, trying to be mean, or out to ruin your fun. Its just part of the game so lightening up about it can do wonders for player interaction.
There is nothing wrong with saying "hey I didn't really enjoy being camped" but that is different from saying "you are trash you camper"
One of these statements could be put to another player for a non-toxic exchange about game outcome, the other is just a toxic attack on another player over a video game.
To me it does make them bad at playing the killer. Only reason for a killer to camp someone at the end of the day weather u agree with it or not is cause they don't know how to beat survivors the normal way of catching and hooking them. That is why I say that those who camp are either too lazy to play the game it was meant to be played or they don't know how to play as the killer. So there solution is to capture, hook and camp one person just so they can get bloodpoints the easy way for killers without putting in the work to earn them honestly in a match.
Camping is not and should not be part of the game cause it makes the game less fun for those being camped and it shows the killer is a mean disrespectful person who would rather play dirty to win than win honest and fairly.

Now both perks nerfed to ground. So question is on title. Do you think she will be more popular after patch dropped?
They didn't just nerf it, they ruined the Iron Will perk completely with the new update. What's the point of using it if it's only 75% instead of 100% max rank. The whole point of it is to be able to keep the killer from hearing u make noises while injured. Making it one of the best perks in the whole game and anyone who says it wasn't is crazy. But after the update there will be no point at all in using it cause it won't work the way it is suppose to.

This is the only pvp game i've played where the most effective tactics avaiable, that have been in the game since release, approved by devs and not bugs are considered toxic and people even go out of their way to shame players who use them.
Yes I get it,its not fun dying 5 minutes into the game, yeah getting camped is uninteractive but these strategies are what killers need to resort to if they want to find consistent success against good players.(good luck 12 hooking when 2 gens pop after your first down)
When people queue up to play killer, they dont do so to be the plaything of 4 randoms, they want to have fun and win.
To me its mindboggling that after all these years tunneling, camping, slugging are still seen as toxic actions employed by the killer and not simply bad game design.
Making the game a 1 v 3 asap is common sense, why arent killers rewarded for unique hooks?
The counter to camping requires slamming gens and limiting player interaction, against certain killers you may even need to leave someone behind.
I dont know how popular this opinion is but slugging is healthy for the game and i'll die on this hill.
If you find these strategies unfun demand changes to the devs, dont blame the killers for not taking it easy on you
The way I see it, the only issue I have with killers is them camping me. If killers would stop doing it all together and play the game going after everyone instead of punishing one person and proving they are terrible at playing the killer by doing so. The game would be alot more fun to play.
I don't get how camping really benefits the killer at all and find it a cheap pointless mean tactic to imploy just to punish one person in the match while everyone else gets an easy match cause the killer isn't chasing them or stopping them from doing generators while they are camping that one person.

Literally first two games of the day I get campers. Both times I used party streamers. How is this enjoyable. I would love to know why the devs think this should be a strategy at all? Also I am posting the screenshots to show that you don't need to be a bubba to be able to camp, as showcased in the game with Freddy.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/EH63C90OE747/20220713215349-1.jpg
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/D0TRGOWOHQOP/20220713220436-1.jpg
I still remember that comment where the devs said they don't want tunneling and camping to go because they add to the "fear of the game, because what if this match I get camped" (something along those lines)
That is not something you want people to think when going into a match. You know why? Because it limits on what survivors use. If they go in a match with the mindset of "I might get camped/tunneled" they won't bring offerings at all to not have them be wasted and only bring strong perks that can help in those cases. It's the same with killers going into a match with the mentality of "these survivors are a 4-man SWF that will genrush me", because then they just bring the best perks in the game to deal with that scenario in their head.
So I want the devs, especially Patrick, explain to me as to why do they think this is good game design, literally telling survivors "well, you might just not get to participate in the match at all, die and leave with almost no points to your name". That is terrible to tell your playerbase, imagine if any other multiplayer game went "well at one point you might just not get to experience the game at all", do you really think people would play a game where it's a coin toss if they are allowed to actually play the game or not?
Like, this is the reason right here why I want a mode where it's just against bots. Because I wanna play the game, do challenges, go for achievements, earn BP for progression, but I don't wanna do it against players. I want to go against bots that can be programmed to not camp or tunnel at all, because why would they care if they 4k or not anyway.
Anyway, rant over. Just wanted to showcase how annoying this "strategy" is and how tired I am of people making excuses for it not being solved or somehow justified for it existing. Literally nothing has been tried on live and people go "well, there is nothing that can be done, because survivors can exploit it" as if that is some amazing excuse to keep survivors from enjoying the game.
PS. Those two games were in a row and in the Freddy game that was literally my first hook. I play soloq. I don't want people to "just do gens so you can escape". I want to escape! I want to be saved! I don't want a camping solution that goes "well this makes it easier for the rest to escape", I want one that punishes the killer by having everybody escape if they camp. Or at least compensate me with max BP in every category for being camped. At least with 40k BP I know I am safe to bring BP offerings and not feel like they and my time wasn't a complete waste if I get camped.
Honestly I sometimes wish u could play against bots in the game instead of actually people for the fact that I have had experiences both with the killer camping and with me going to save people from the hook only for them to later on in the match not do the same for me or idiot survivors who run towards the hook to save u only to end up crouching down behind an object near the hook and hesitating to save u even when the killer is nowhere near u.

Sure, as long as we also make it so that if a survivor doesn't spend at least 2 minutes in chase, they lose half their bloodpoints at the end too. This forces more interaction with the killer and punishes those survivors who are so bad at the game they can only do gens. That makes it fair right?
That would make no sense to give a penality to a survivor for not being in a chase for 2 mins. Avoiding running into the killer is something that survivors are suppose to try and do while working on generators.
Killers who camp a survivor should get a penality cause camping is not suppose to be part of the game and people who do it aren't playing the game and giving those people who have to deal with being camped a fair chance to win along with every other survivor. Camping killers ruin DBD and should not be allowed to do so without getting some kind of penalty for it.
Also how exactly does it punish survivors who can only do generators? Any survivor can do more than that no matter how good at the game they are. It's those who only do generators and never save anyone from the hook that aren't playing as a team with their fellow survivors.

Seriously, everything about it is great.
It has a power that allows for both map travel and countering loops, but there are mindgames involved, which is great. I love putting my remnant out of survivor's sight and surprising them when they don't even know I can teleport there.
Even though its power can be really strong in certain situations, it comes with means for the survivors to counter it, BUT ALSO with means for YOU to counter their counter (breaking locks, mindgaming survivors to push them off loops to the direction you want them to go, teleporting out of sight). That makes the Dredge a really balanced killer. I think it's a high B tier, but can be a low A depending on the map and the add-ons you're using.
But the part I like the most: it brought HORROR back to Dead by Daylight. No other killer in the game is so horrifying. Not only it has jumpscares, but also a dreadful appearance (or must I say dredgeful?), being the first non-humanoid killer in the game, and Nightfall, the coolest passive ability in the history of this game, making the map dark and forcing everyone to hear all those cries of agony in the darkness.
Most people won't be scared of the game anyway, of course, but the Dredge brings an horror atmosphere this game really needed.
The only thing I don't like, which keeps it from being my favorite killer of all time, is the map dependency, since bad locker placement can really screw your power over. Still, most of the time it's an insanely fun killer to play, with one of the most awesome concept and designs in Dead by Daylight. By the way, why can't we use profile pictures for any character released after Resident Evil DLC? I want my Dredge profile pic!
Honestly when he first came out, he was a pain in the butt to win matches against until I figured out that going around the map when u know he's the killer and locking every locker as a survivor makes him alot easier to defeat. Mainly cause with every locker on the map locked, if he makes the map go dark and u are near a locker. Even if he teleports to that locker ur near. He has to break the lock from the inside to get u and by the time he's done that. U are usually far enough away from that locker to were u can lose track of him pretty easy.

All right, let's try to have a thoughtful, organized, and productive discussion. We all know what camping is, and unless you're a player who likes to camp, it's generally seen as a problem.
Of those people who see it as a problem, there tend to be two camps. One camp is made of people who think, "It sucks, but that's human nature. The devs can't do anything about that." The other is, "The devs can fix it. If they make changes to the game that discourage--or even prevent--camping, camping will be a thing of the past." If you are someone who believes the devs can prevent/dissuade camping, please explain your ideas on how that can be done. I assume there will be more than one answer, since different Killers have different powers (Bubba camping is a different scenario than Trapper camping). So, what are your ideas? Please explain.
***IMPORTANT****
I know there are some of you who have nuanced opinions--or even totally different opinions. Some of you think, "If a person buys a game, they can do whatever they want. Your feelings about that aren't important." Others think, "Grow a thicker skin and move on to the next game." Others think, "It's a valid strategy--even if you don't like it." I understand you have your perspectives. However, the purpose of this thread is to hear from the people who believe the devs can change it to explain how. I'd rather stick to that topic than get lost in a sea of various opinions. Please keep that in mind. This is a very specific thread topic, and I want to understand those people's opinions and ideas.
I would put a penality in place where if u camp a survivor and refuse to leave them for more than 30 seconds to chase or stop other survivors. At the end of the match, take half of whatever amount of bloodpoints they earned away so if they get the penality and say for example they ended the match with 20,000 bloodpoints. 10,000 of that gets taken away as a penality. The penality happens only once so they still get some bloodpoints.
I can pretty much guarantee u that no killer is gonna be stupid enough to risk half their bloodpoints to camp a survivor thus stopping it from happening so that everyone can enjoy the match and it isn't ruined for the one person the killer chooses to camp.
Literally camping is one of the worst things a killer can do to a survivor cause it ruins the match for the survivor he camps, makes it no fun at all for that person and they leave that match upset at the outcome instead of being able to say that was a good match. There should be a penality to doing it reguardless of the reason the person is doing it. It's not fair to the one person u camp that everyone else gets a bunch of bloodpoints in the match cause the killer won't leave ur side. That and the fact it is very rare to find a survivor willing to risk his or her neck to attempt to save someone being camped. I've ended up giving alot of survivors I play the game with the un-sportsman-like option instead of props at the end of the match if they didn't bother to even attempt to try and help me while the killer is camping me and I feel that is justified in that instance.
Not to mention the fact that u aren't a very good killer if u have to rely on camping one person cause u are too lazy or such a lousy killer that u can't seek people out on the map and play the game the way it was meant to be played when ur the killer.

The meta change is really unnecessary, why did they do it like 6 years later and not something in the beginning of the years of DBD? Many of my friends are gonna uninstall/stop playing after the update, and it really makes me feel sad about them leaving the game when we used to play a lot! They completely nerfed all perks to garbage and they want us to get used to new perks.. like after using the same perks for 1-2 years, they are forcing us to new perks which we all don’t like. Many camping and tunneling after the update which is gonna be really annoying.
What are your thoughts about it?
Honestly gonna continue playing it after the new update even thou I think it is stupid of them to ruin Iron Will and make it 75% instead of 100%. I'm ok with most of the changes and I love playing the game. Have since I first started playing it a year or 2 ago with friends.
I'm excited for the fact that after the update. Every survivor I own will have the perks on them that I need to level and prestige them as many times as I can. Which means I will be able to play as any survivor in game instead of being able to only play the 4 or 5 that have the perks I need on them.
What I wish the game would do is stop giving a tomboy survivor like Meg a bunch of outfits that are too girly for her to wear and make her look weird when u do put them on her and make more outfits like that for survivors they actually would look good on like Kate.

Apparently if you buy enough of the Attack on Titan cosmetics you get more charms. I don't understand why Bhvr has been teasing these charms so much, like getting a few charms (you can only equip 3 out of the 5 even if you get them all btw) for spending probably $50 on skins is some great deal?
I understand building a little hype but at some point just show the skins. Am I out of touch or missing something? Do people really love charms?
Edit: I should say, I am actually interested in the skins themselves, I just think this "ad campaign" (not sure what else to call it) is strange and I'm curious if charms really appeal to many people
Personally I could care less about anything Attack of Titan themed being added to the game. Mainly cause I tried watching the anime. Got 2 episodes in and was bored watching it before episode 3 so I stopped.
I live by a rule when it comes to any show Animated or Live Action. If a show can't get u either interested in watching more of it or hooked on it within the first 2 episodes. There's no point really in continuing to watch it cause at the end of the day. The best shows on tv have u hooked from the first 2 episodes. Just my opinion thou as I know some will disagree.

Killers do have this option, it's called "Hooking the survivor" where you can have them stunned from anywhere between 0 and 120 seconds.
Hooking someone is not the same as stunning them. When u are on a hook, u can still move and try to escape. If u were stunned on the hook. U wouldn't be able to do that. U would just be a body hanging there with no way of getting off without someone getting u off the hook.

There is.....he's called Leon and his power is flashbangs.....
Clearly u didn't read my comment at all before replying to it. I was referring to Killers not Survivors. Leon is not a killer in the game.

Still why there's no option for players to decide whether Prestige or not?
Is it abusable that I keep farming things from lv.50 Bloodweb?
Portrait effect? Wow, clearly there are even customized portrait players made and this is disappointing.
Give something that upcoming legacy P3 players can show off.
Endurance change? Fine, now look at Pinhead's "Original Pain" add-on which negates all Endurance.
Why nothing has been done to Pharmacy? Why does it only activate only when "injured"?
Where's camping solution? Previlege to not camp and penalty for extreme camping? Nothing.
Honestly some of changes were good but I think Developer Update lacks so many of what players want.
First off the game itself has never forced u to prestige ur characters at all so the whole fact u started ur discussion off with that doesn't make alot of sense.
That being the case, I'm excited for the new update for the following reasons:
1: I will finally be able to get Self-Heal, Technician, Calm Mind and Were Gonna Live Forever unlocked on every survivor I have which will allow me to level them all very easily to prestige them and get all the rewards from doing so. Already got Claudette Morel, Feng Min and Jake Park to Level 50 but waiting for the Prestige rework to go live before I do their 1st prestige and unlock their perks on everyone. David King I have already prestiged 3 times so he's gonna be levelled up quite a bit when it happens along with Kate and Haddie at the same prestige level. Got every perk unlocked on Haddie already.
2: I got most of my survivors at level 40 due to the levelling grind I did during the recent event so all I have to do is get them 10 more levels each and I can prestige them and unlock their perks for all survivors after the rework update. Hate grinding levels to unlock perks on survivors so this makes me very happy.
3: It's annoying trying to get Self Heal and Technician to show up in the bloodweb of most survivors. Usually it takes me going thru a bunch of bloodwebs till I get to lvl 50 to get them on a survivor. But with the prestige rework update. I will soon have them on every survivor which means I will finally be able to play as every survivor in the game with those perks on them all and won't be limited to only the ones that do.
4: The fact u don't lose any items, perks or add-ons when u prestige once the update comes out is nice considering losing all that stuff while prestiging a survivor never made sense to me as u should get to keep that stuff when u prestige so u don't lose it and it goes to waste just to prestige.
Only thing I hate about the Prestige rework update is the fact they are nerfing one of the best perks in the entire game by making Iron Will 75% instead of 100% which means that there is no point in using it after the update cause it's suppose to make it so u make no noise what-so-ever when hiding from the killer. So thank u DBD for ruining that perk and making it worthless after the update.

Just ######### play immersive. Seriously. Go back to how DBD was initially played and we can see how the killers like it. I cannot for the life of me understand how it's getting worse and worse. I play Killer and pressure the entire map. Usually get 2-3 kills. I don't try to go for 4 kills. But all these people do lately when I play survivor is either camp, tunnel, or return to a hook to guarantee a hit on the saver. It's ridiculous. You don't wanna deal with this. Just start playing hide and seek and see how much they like it.
Personally I hate killers who camp survivors on hooks. It's my least favorite thing that happens to me as a survivor main. I get it that killers can be hard to play but that is no excuse for camping someone just to get that one person out and give everyone else an easier match by doing so. There should be a penality for camping a survivor like how they keep u from playing the game for 5 mins when u leave a match before it's done. But they will likely never do that even thou killers who camp a survivor on a hook make the game alot less fun to play for that person.

Tbh, plenty powers works like blind/stun.
Like newest killer can cover them in darkness.
Yes but I'm talking about killers having the ability to stun or blind a survivor without perks on them that do that.

I've even complained about this in solo play as of late. It seems like more and more killers are doing it, simply because little to no advantage NOT to do it. Whenever I get hooked, is everybody on a Gen? Nope... I see MAYBE one dude working on one. Then the other two are off either aimlessly running, opening chests for no reason, or I kid you not i've seen people crouch hiding in the basement as of late. This MMR system is a joke but that's an entirely different conversation.
Everyone always says they have no idea how to reduce Hook camping and give incentive for the Killer to leave. I got one for you right here. Hot off the "I just had a shower and had time to think" press.
Give all other survivors after X amount of time a repair bonus. Seriously. If they aren't going to penalize the killer for camping the hook. Give the other survivors a bonus for the fact that they can't get the other person. (Especially against insta down killers like Bubba and the like). Punish the killer for playing this way. It's not to say it still can't be done with Insidious. Are you within the range BHVR deems is a no no to give others the bonus? You can show an action pop up on the right side that slowly fills. Outside of it the bar doesn't fill. Doesn't have to be OMEGA far. But like say outside of the shack away from Basement. Still enough room to insidious just not directly in their face. Don't want to give the other survs the buff to rush you on Gens? Go actively stop them. They don't have to get a wild 6% increase or anything. give them like 3%. That's only a 9% increase if they are all on like 1 Gen (Trust me, solo queue you see some wild #########). But even spread apart that's only a 3% increase and an incentive for the Killer to go and not camp them.
IT's just a thought to try and fix this nonsense. Especially coming up with the whole increase to Gen time and the fact that somebody did the math and said you could fully camp 2 hooks before 3 Gens were done or some #########. At this point, the killer cannot say Survivors had it easy if they actively gave them the buff in the first place.
Personally I hate killers who camp the hooks to prevent anyone from coming to save u from one.
It's not fair to the person on the hook for one cause very few survivors actually have the guts to team up with another survivor where one Survivor distracts the killer while the other gets u free of the hook. Sure the one distracting the killer may go down but at least ur being a team player for the survivors and helping get someone off the hook. If I had my way, any killer that was caught camping a hook with a survivor on it for more than 30 to 40 seconds would get half their bloodpoints taken away after the match is over as a penality for doing so.
There should be a penality for camping survivors if u are a killer in a match cause u aren't giving that survivor a fair chance to win the match if u are camping them so people won't want to even try to rescue them. While at the same time, u are letting other people get bloodpoints by finishing the generators cause u aren't stopping them from doing so just to be mean and camp one person while they get to leave the match and u can't.
The point of being the killer in DBD is to stop people from doing generators so they can't get the exit gate open and escape while hooking the survivors 3 times if u can to win. But if u can't do that and are constantly camping one person in a match then u are not playing the game fair and u should get a penality for it. U also shouldn't be playing as a killer if u can't do it the right way where u aren't putting up one person to die and letting everyone else escape while doing so. That is why if a killer does that to me I give them the body blocking penality.
I also hate killers who go after the same survivor till they are hooked 3 times even if the survivor leads them to others they could go after instead.

Is it make any interaction besides make killers upset?
BTW, why do killers have an extra carrying part, which is totally beneficial for survivors? The flashbang, the flashlight, the plate, the perks. When can killers stun or blind survivors?
Having a killer be able to stun or blind at will would make them way too OP for survivors to go up against especially with all the speedy killers that can catch up to u and knock u down in mere seconds. That is why they don't have the ability to stun or blind at will.

so, BHVR said in the June DU "kill rates are little lower", but, earlier in this year they shared with us this Graphic. Every killer has basically 50% rate every match, so 2 survivors died per match. Lower than expected? this is balanced? or this "little lower" have a focus in a determinate MMR? i miss anything?
U figure it would be higher than that. Most killers I have ran into in the game in matches lately don't really play fair with survivors to begin with or give them a fair chance to win a match.
