To see if it's worth coming back to or not
Less reliance on DH/IW for the average survivor.
I'm not gonna say these perks were necessarily 'crutches' as good survivors could use them extremely well
But I also feel like these 2 perks were also substitutes for playing survivor well, they let medicore survivors play better than they usually would. DH for obvious reasons and IW taking information from the killer during chase, making them guess more often

I'm already seeing more Sprint Bursts and Lithes in my games, I can imagine that's only gonna increase when DH is essentially no longer what it is
I think Iron Will will still see some use, 75% isn't awful. Especially when they equalise all grunts of pain volume across all survivors
Grind reduction and perk rebalance + killer buffs.

I'm excited for the update. All of my survivors and killers are prepped and waiting. I'm gonna love having all perks on all characters. I'm looking forward to the Distortion change.
The new revamped perks and prestige system.
I want new S - tier killer.
Just about all of it.
-No "get out of jail free" dead hard or DS
-Stealth killers will be way more fun to play
-Lethal pursuer isn't useless after 7 seconds
-goodbye ruin carry matches in solo queue
-Corrupt offers the value needed and nothing more
-Lucky break is even more worthwhile
-Bite the bullet is now worth using
-Fire up is even better
-No more Plagues or Pyramids getting cheesy double downs at hook
-Guardian/babysitter is much more worthwhile
-Basement is even stronger
-Noed can't carry bad killers if placed in a secret spot
-Botany is a HUGE buff to my healing builds
-Deja Vu is a perk that I might start using again for my gen repair builds
I was excited for the prestige/grind rework but since they added a toll to prestiging and you're forced to prestige so no avoiding it I'm not so thrilled about it anymore.
brutal strength is better too!
I was really looking forward to it as well, but then they mentioned that our item rarity will decrease along with the blood web reset. Even if we're saving bp we'll be spending it on worse items and add-ons.
DS being turned off during endgame (OTR too, though that was only an issue in the PTB) and DH nerf.
Iron Will nerf so I can potentially see more Spirits ❤️

I know you've been fighting for it even though I may disagree about that change. But I'm honestly kinda happy for you.
Uninstalling
Having Self-Care, Technician, Calm Mind and Were Gonna Live Forever on all my characters so I can level and prestige them all without having to wait for them to learn those skills thru grinding bloodwebs which takes forever to learn them all on a character.
Plus I can finally use every survivor in the game with those perks on them instead of being limited to the 4 or 5 I have that do.

The portraits and prestige system
There are no S tier killers, all of them are clunky and have handicaps in ways that makes it absurd at times, like Spirit... you would think she would be super strong but no because she is blind during chases and nerfed.
I just had a Hillbilly earlier, noob one, he couldn´t even manage the chainsaw ... Survivors thought we would have to heal him in the basement.
It´s just sad.

Nothing. I play solo and I don't use meta perks anyways so nothing will change for me. I am hoping there is a new Claudette outfit at least.
What new metas will come out of this and perk grind reduction.

Faster que times for survivors.
Having all of the perks finally. Been grinding for a couple of years now, and it's nice to see that time investment becoming worth it.
I'm not too worried about the low rarity of addons thing. I typically stick to brown/yellow addons anyways, and there's a lot of killers who's best addons are the brown and yellow ones. Plus cakes/puddings are yellow rarity.
There's a few that have rarer addons that I enjoy, but those are mainly meme ones like scratched mirror Myers or pinky finger clown. I don't play meme builds that often though anyways so I'm not too concerned. I'd much rather have all perks and grind for addons anyways.
Well I get that. They didn’t have to nerf the perk into the ground, I would’ve been fine with bug fixes. I don’t really think it needed a nerf tbh. I did ok against it usually.
Thats what I'm saying.
But to be honest the anticipation is killing me. I want to play the update so bad to see if I'm just overreacting (probably am) or are things so different everything is going to be out of wack.
This! Gen speeds and stale meta are the main reasons why I quit DBD.
I really appreciate the increased generator repair time, as well as the buff to some underrated and underperforming perks (like sole survivor) (poised is still poised #pleasebuffpoisedBHVR). And the small killer buffs and survivor nerfs should make holding w (finally) useless or at least not even worth it.
