the thuds are rather noticeable, its true. unless you're working on a near-completed gen, its hard not to notice it.
-
yeah i partially get completely stable skill checks sometimes, yet other times the skill check needle skips frequently and it's hard to determine whether or not im going to land the great
-
For the same reason as to why brown rank killers getting ranked with red rank survivors feels horrible and shouldnt happen, this shouldnt either
-
I played this game not even knowing there were licensed characters. I dont care whether or not there are licensed characters, but i will say Myers' has the best gameplay when going against him.
-
you do know in competitive games, they are a group of people communicating together!
what kind of logic is this? No MOBA, no FPS has a professional team of people that dont know each other and dont talk with each other?
So stop saying SWF needs to be removed the the "competitive" pool, because that's literally the opposite of what competitive is. Stop taking the compete out of competitive. All you want is to remove the challenge in the game so you can have your 4k every game dream.
-
I've always wanted the 2017 Halloween theme back, that was the music i heard when i first started playing and it horrified me. I'd like to hear it officially in-game again
-
I play the Martyr when it comes to my friends, keeping them alive by rushing for saves in the most dire conditions. If they walk out alive, its a win in my book.
getting all 5 totems myself is also fun, successfully being chased as objectives are being done is pretty cool too
-
despite numerous "nerfs" to camping, it still isn't enough to detract killers from doing so. It still is far too effective of a way of killing people, especially with...certain killers.
They just need to further incentivize leaving the hook, and then they can continue nerfing camping by adding more mechanics that should eventually discourage anyone from being that much of a jerk.
-
If i can play Fighting Games with a Keyboard & Mouse on PC, you can play DBD on consoles with a Keyboard & Mouse yourself.
people need to get over themselves, its not like you can't buy a keyboard yourself. If everyone can do it, its fair game!
-
conceptually, sure! Objectively? absolutely the hell not.
Babysitter suits my playstyle, but in a direct comparison to Borrowed Time it's worse in almost every situation. I'd rather get a survivor out of the clutches of a camping killer than pray that the survivor gets the hell out of there without being seen for 8 seconds. I can't risk letting my teammates die just because i hope that the killer doesn't camp
-
Ruin? I'm a totem betch, catch me after i earn 5K boldness in totem destruction
-
The tea is exceptionally good today, who made this? mmm, very delicious.
-
damn, you ain't gotta be so cold to the actor, she can't help how she looks!
-
That's actually perfect, as some killer's would walk away seeing as there's no time to get the save, but that's actually a false sense of hope, as now, with that Camaraderie change, someone saves them beyond the 60th second, and everyone walks away happy, except the killer who camped, but no one wants to see campers happy.

Why not just remove it from the game and make it so if a killer stay within a certain fixed radius of the hook for too long he starts loosing BP ?
I'm pretty sure this would fix toxic camping.
The killers who camp don't care about emblems, they don't care about bloodpoints, they only care to see you die.
While i agree choking them out of bloodpoints will help ease some issues, as they will no longer be able to afford additional offerings or add-ons, but that's not the their end goal.

I've seen a leak where there technically is an Upside-Down, and the concept is pretty creepy. It involves that portal so i could see how it works.
-
someone at BHVR definitely has a smoking kink.
-
Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden, The Clown's Gas, The Doctor's Shock Therapy, basic attacks, and, if the leaks are true, an upcoming Demogorgon perk.
The slight scream when you fall down from a large height, sadly, have no perk that removes it.
Good question though!
-
i like that pun.
-
in a situation like that, the killer could have used your body to stall the game. They just leave you injured and the moment they have 2 kills they down you and the ever so fun slugging strat commences. The killer can also hook you for BBQ, or gain other perk benefits however they so choose.
It would be more beneficial to your teammates if you had disconnected in a situation where the only other option would be to AFK.
-
other games have made similar statements due to lack of technology, I'm sure BHVR devs understand that eventually they'll need to up their technology for their evolving game, and one day, you'll see a creepy 4-legged creature making their way to you.
-
Dude #2 ain't wrong though...he's not mad, he doesn't hate the game, he's simply stating the truth.
-
He's way more fun to play as and against than he used to be. People highly undervalue the Snares, it's like clown's bottle but better since you can pre-plan. The fact that survivor's can't see you until a certain range allows you to get stuff done without them being able to notice what you're about to do. There is also a lot of mind-game potential with the teleport, both in and out of chase.
-
guys, how could this ever possibly be OP in a world where it can be comparable to old MoM, old D-strike, old Sprint Burst (or all Exhaustion perks for that)? the prevention of the explosion doesnt stop the regression, and that increased gen time due to failure isn't going to help anyone win the game.
-
gens don't need more time, killers just need more pressure.
the ones that dont have mobility, which is universally useful, should have a way of forcing survivors to make tough decisions or psyche them out of performing efficiently.
-
i thought you couldn't go back up beyond 15? that just seems cruel and unfair. I know for a fact that people do this too, just so they can clown on people that have no idea what they're doing. I regularly joke with my friends during rank reset and say things like " oh no, they're not gonna wanna play anymore!" when things are going a little too well.
-
Okay, if keys aren't allowed then lets get rid of Reverse Bear Traps because of it's RNG. And let's get rid of the chance to get out of bear traps and make it one big channel. Let's get rid of skill checks because of RNG. This could go on with almost anything in the game. Everything in it is RNG, down to every spawn.
-
They're adding more lockers to maps for a reason, they aren't going to make a killer that destroys them, not unless there's 50 lockers in every map.
-
they are adding ranked rewards, its on the list, I'm sure they've already heard about people wanting Devotion rewards as well.
-
we totally should be able to see everyone's perks, that way, if someone has some niche perk that i dont know about (Autodidact, Unbreakable+Tenacity combo, etc.) i can let them play out the game how they need it to without getting in their way.
-
Um excuse me, they need to follow the Survivor's Rule Book for Killers...
-
The sledge might be old-fashioned but it is still the fastest and most brutal way to put down his future meal
-
They just need to make it so that survivor's see the Realm darker than the killers do. Ta-Da, problem solved.
-
It was pretty much an Us vs. Them type of deal anyways.
-
(is that winning or whining?)
-
I have to choose Bond, its just universally useful, the information is invaluable
-
Excellent concept with a strange reveal mechanic that feels janky
-
the issue with your idea is that it requires being chased, what will happen if the perk is effective? You'll just see killers "chase" you with the survivor at the corner of their screen so an actual chase never activates and the perk doesn't either.
-
Adrenaline is only in use because survivor's adapted to killer's using sloppy butcher on top of the healing nerfs.
I thought killers wanted survivors to adapt, but when they adapt, now the things they adapt to need to be nerfed as well?
-
if that person D-struck you and went into the locker for Head-On, they lost less ground than they would have if they just ran point blank from D-strike. This also means they can't use BL or Dead Hard to assist them in a chase. He's honestly doing you a favor.

Technically pizzas are pies though.
that's the point.
-
Imagine someone calling pizza's sandwiches. They ask if you want a sandwich, and you're like sure. That person, then comes back with a pizza. You're like: wat .
That's the exposed status effect. Vulnerable is a much better word, which, combined with the skull, properly conveys the peril you're in if you were to be hit.
My friend just this saturday asked me if Exposed meant that we were visible to the killer. We've been playing this game together for 2 years.
Knock it off with the "but it's so easy to realize/ you can just look it up" it's an improper name for the effect of the status, plain and simple.
-
The funny thing is, if you and an ally are at the hook, while you have to wait before you can heal the unhooked survivor, your ally can heal them almost immediately.
The delay is only for the person who unhooks, its probably a genuine design flaw
-
the survivors hear the chase music when you initiate a chase, but there is no heartbeat, so there is no indicator to the survivor as to how close you are (as your Red Stain is also blocked)
-
when i see [hidden killer offering] I'm groaning more than feeling scared.
Endgame on the other hand is a great suspenseful moment if it's not: oh, both gates are on the same wall, and the killer is waiting in the middle...again.
Myers is overall the premiere horror killer tho, no qualms about it.
-
giving every killer a fifth perk slot wont change the difference in power between all the killers, just exacerbate the issue.
-
We all know more shirtless outfits = more profit + a more happy DBD community
-
Yay stealth is actually a thing now!

This will not effect SWFs, since they will often tell the others where they are. Making Knockout a useless perk against them.
did you not read the post at all? i literally said that.
