Infinites still there
flashlights still annoying
communication in SWF unfair
object unfair
the sheer number of pallets now unfair
the safety granted to mistakes made by survivors unfair
basement is irrelevant now
gens pop in 80 seconds or less most times 3 gens are done by the time I get a hook on one survivor if I’m lucky they don’t have 3 second chance perks
i get punished for tunneling even though the game forces me to or gens get done way to fast
i get punished for having a hex totem they get destroyed before I can even use it
the amount of loops in the game that are too reliable
the map bias towards survivors (this is literally calculated by tile values on how good they are for survivors and spawn at the max value slotted for that map)
survivors having 4x the players but 5x easier objectives
Infinites arent a thing anymore
something being annoying doesnt mean its op, just look at a wall
solo q is unfair
object is getting changed
more unsafe pallets than ever before on most maps, also a lot of dead zones on reworked maps
safety granted to killer tunneling and camping is unfair
basement is still the same
If you get a hook only after 3 gens at done, it's a you problem
new maps have better totem spawns
survivors need loops, and like i said above, a lot of them are unsafe
yes, who would thought a 4v1 game has to be balanced that way
game hasnt been this easy for killer before.

9 out of 10 times, no. Those people are just dicks usually. But I've had situations where it made sense to camp a hook at 5 gens. But again. How do you differentiate between unnecessary and pivotal points in the game that win it for either side ? You can't
So we should be thinking about those 9 times out of 10, which is 90%.
As someone who plays solo and has kindred on all my builds, those 90% do it just to be toxic, not because they need to do it to win. It's not even done to "win/lose", is done to be petty.

Someone who gets face camped at 5 gens doesn´t deserve the escape anyway.
Give me a reason on how you just said it's not just a bs generalization?

They want it so you cant defend your hook/area at all 🤣. Which is part of being a killer
Is facecamping at 5 gens being part of being a killer? Damn I've been playing killer wrong all along

No, that would be too much. It doesn't need more. Even at one use it's already extremely strong. If one 5 sec stun from tunneling isn't costing him at least 2 gens your team is playing really bad.
Not everyone plays in swf. It's time to start thinking more about solo Q
-
@Blueberry said:

It's anti-tunnel, not immune to tunnel.
Immune to tunnel would be completely overpowered. There are times when the killer is required to tunnel.
It should activate after both hook stages and it still wouldnt be overpowered. It just needs to actually be good at anti tunneling, which it isnt.
-
Still doesn't really work for anti tunneling.
A killer can tunnel after 2 hook stages, and DS only has 1 use.
-
Let me give some examples on how that isn't right:
Complaints about Spirit? Still not changed/nerfed.
NOED? Still not reworked.
DS? Nerfed.
Pallets? Still not fixed.
I'm sure there's more examples.

Maybe its an area thing. But really, i don´t have any issues as solo. Its not as bad as most people claim. I even played during the desync patch. Instant lobbies and the this issue wasn´t really that bad.
I guess most people exagerate.
Survivor lobbies are also instant for me during the day (EU). Team mate quality is below average though.

I play solo only and it happens quite often that 3 or 4 survivors escape.
But sure, there are also survivors that rage quit on the first hook, which usually snowballs. But i don´t count those matches. Because those are not normal matches.
I also play solo 99% and in red ranks, and in more than 4k hours, and even with me using kindred, more often than not they still dont do gens.

"we need black rights"
"gay people have less rights, your point?"
is not because something else is happening that BOTH shouldn't be fixed, he's got a point and you do as well, but the way you say it completely dismisses the first point when both should be considered
Imagine comparing a video game to human rights. Quite a stretch there.

It could be up to 4 gens.
Even if the other Survivors goes down immediately, the other two escape for free and the Killer always de-pips.
The issue with that is, again solo Q. How many team mates do you have doing gens instead of just being crouched close to the camping killer?
4 gens maybe, in a swf.
-
@Tsulan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2157390#Comment_2157390
Both equally. No one gets points while the killer camps.
That's a lie and you know it.
You just need one survivor to get closer to you and you moving for you to get chase points as killer.
Also, 2hook stages arent 5 gens, so after the killer facecamps one and that one dies, they still can go and play the game and get more points.
People need to stop saying it is the same when it isnt.
-
@Tsulan said:
But, as you said yourself. Killer DO get punished for camping.
Unless the camped survivor throws the game, the others can complete the remaining gens and pull a rescue, while the killer got 1 or 2 hooks during the whole match.
Who gets more punished for camping? The camped survivor or the killer?
That is the issue. If I would get points for staying on hook while others do the objective, I wouldnt mind it. But when I'm the one camped, I get nothing in return at all. The killer can still get points if he wants, the camped survivor? Nope.
-
Solo is awful because a lot of people got carried to red ranks by their SWF and cant do gens without missing skill checks, farm you in the killer face, drop all pallets and still go down in 3 seconds.
Solo isnt enjoyable because it feels like a 1vs4, as you vs the other survivors AND the killer.
I'd rather do poorly in a match because I'm bad, not because other people are bad.
-
Neither is being hit through pallets, which is in every game, unlike breakdown.
Your point?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Personally I disagree, I'd say most people play killer when playing alone because solo queueing is a nightmare. I do think survivors should earn bloodpoints for what their teammates do as well, so people who get chased the whole game can get points for objective and the people who sit on gens the whole game can get some boldness. I think it'd be a nice way to reward actually good teamwork
+1.

Thats kinda weird. In 4k+ hours I've seen like 3 hackers tops.

Wake up was not bannable, so there is no need to make lies. Only time survivors got ban threats if killer literally couldn't kill them, like abusing infinites back in the day or using dead hard to get in asylum areas where killer once again couldn't kill them.

We do know about it and we are working on a fix. We still need to discuss how we'll handle this, but even if we do decide to ban people who are abusing it (like the Legion blades exploit), there is no need to report it. We can see everyone who's abusing it.
Have a source of infinites ever being bannable?
-
All these people are hilarious saying how it isnt bannable because it's a survivor perk...
Wake up was a bannable and is a survivor perk.
Some people really have victim complexes.

-
That's cute but have you ever seen Quentin?
-
Their skin is too smooth and they look like they dont have a soul.
-
Quentins and Jeffs are the least toxic.
Most toxic? Probably Aces and Lauries.
-
This 100%.
I'd rather it be similar to deathslingers insta down addon, where she has to be at a certain distance, so it would reward people with good aim.
Instead, it got nerfed to 1 hatched and the actual problem not solved: any noob can just get near you and insta down you without having to aim.

I don't get the joke in the false 'TTV' sterotype. Is it some famous You Tuber that everyone is parroting the lie that TTV increases the odds a person is toxic?
I personally have gone against at least 30 or 40 TTV's so there is a VERY low chance that if this sterotype were real that none would be toxic... none were toxic.
Now am I meant to beilive I just got lucky... FORTY TIMES IN A ROW or that everyone else is over exaggerating👻?
They are exaggerating, because saying "TTV bad" gives them upvotes and it's easier than actually having a constructive opinion
-
I sometimes use TTV in my name and I 99% of the time play solo. But I guess having TTV in my username because I want to grow my audience makes me a bad person ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you could hear the thoughts of people who arent streaming, they wouldnt be much different.
-
I'm at 4k+ hours and I still dont have everyone p3 level 50
-
I dodge keys and if I see flashlights I just use lightborn. Is 99% of the time a free hit/down.
-
Solo Q is OP
-
My survivor Q times are instant during the day at red ranks EU, unlike killer that takes 2 minutes.
-
So is Hawkins.
-
I dont mind farming killers at all. The amount of BP you get as survivor is ridiculously low, so if the killer wants to farm for points, I'll join.

Agreed, they should remove keys from chests and keep the item rarity as it is now. And increase chests to at least four, and now you have a second objective survivor will actually go do.
Way more tempting to open chests when every item you get isnt a brown toolbox. Totally agree 100%
-
Rancor. The killer can be the worst on earth and still get a kill just because he hit you once.

Loving the abundance of purple medkits I am collecting.
This and pink maps. Give them to me!!!
On a serious note, I do love the better items, the keys are a bit too much right now though.

Considering 4men SWF are less than 20% of the playerbase I'd say you're just being incredibly unlucky.

The Rift doesn't take your entire life to complete. It's all about playing regularly. If you're efficient with your tome challenges and always queue during the optimal times for your role to reduce queues, you probably only need to play 30 minutes to an hour every day on average.
It's still very grindy. This coming from someone with 4k hours, but who also has a job. I less dedicated than someone with 10 hours because I have a job? No.
The rift is too grindy and I do hope the leaks are real and they're making it less grindy.
-
Just because people have things to do irl like full time jobs and families doesn't mean they arent dedicated players.

Rancor is pretty meh, in my opinion. The obsession aka the survivor afflicted by Rancor will be aware that the killer has Rancor throughout the trial due to the aura reading (unless you’re unfortunate enough to be running Dark Sense). That means at the end of the game, that survivor knows they have to be extra-cautious against being killed. If you have SWF they can help to shield you, if you’re solo you will just have to be more off-the-radar and let others get the gate etc.
And, if you’ve made it to the end of the game when exit gates are powered — which is only when all 5 gens are done — then it’s likely you’ve had a successful game anyways, and dying there isn’t the worst and wouldn’t be a pip loss.
Dying because you get hit once during the whole match isn't a win imo. Specially since the most points you get as survivor is with escaping.

I'm sure they are but they don't have a group of people with them talking crap as well and even going as far to send hate messages on the streamers behalf because the streamer has decided that they didn't like how you played.
When I stream I use TTV on my name, and I'm also a solo player who doesn't play toxic. I've also had non TTV people coming with their SWF to my profile. Does it mean they're all the same? No

Oh, about that.
It's funny how people complain about noed giving undeserved kills and etc, but totally forget about Rancor which literally is embodiment of such complaints - no effort required, no real counterplay apart from GTFO as fast as possible, no chance to escape if the killer actually gets you as you just get moried on spot.
Not to mention that running Rancor doesn't mean you're 3 perked for the majority of the game, as Rancor is basically a budget bitter murmur.
Just earlier I was obsession against a rancor spirit, while not having any obsession perks and other people had DS. Love it :) /s

Every experience I've had with a TTV has been a bad one.
They talk crap with their viewers and even if I've played nice as killer I'm a trash camper, tunneller even when I haven't done either. Also even if I've gone out of my way to help as a teammate and taken hits for them, saved them with a flashlight or pallet or made sure to save them on the hook and do gens I'm a useless teammate and I'm terrible at the game.
Everyone I've come across is toxic and does nothing but whine and complain about the game and blames every other player for them not being able to win.
You think the people who arent streaming arent saying the same things about the game?
-
Iri head will still be quite strong when noobs use it. The issue with it before was that people with bad aim can just get behind you and press m2 and you're downed.
IMO they should just made it like the insta down iri addon deathslinger has. Only 1 shots you after x distance.
-
Rancor. It's BS that you can get killed by just getting insta downed once.

Iron will is top 3 meta perk, lets be honest. And yes. Spirit needs nerfs
Everyone uses BBQ. Should it be nerfed?
A perk being used a lot doesnt mean it is op and needs a nerf.

Weak: Trickster, Trapper, Legion
Strong: Nurse, Spirit

TTV's are literally the worst. I always dodge if I'm playing with them or against them.
Hm, maybe if you could read the mind of the people who arent TTVs you'd think differently. People who have TTV in their name just want to grow their channel, how does that make them "the worst"?
