So bright it hurts my eyes, specially in the dream world.
-
I'd like for you to do the same thing but with swf and solo q separate.
-
This annoys me too.
1 dc at 5 gens, killer still sweats and slugs for the 4k, everyone dead with less than 10k points and killer says “gg” in end game.
I’d rather them not say anything at all.

I'm scared to ask, but what are you at rn?
I'm at p60. Took a week break when patch first came out.

You don't have to double dog dare me. All I play is soloq and am currently collecting the stats to prove you wrong.
Hopefully your stats arent just random written stats and you have some streams to prove them?
-
I've had it stuck on "initialization completed", solved it by restarting steam.
As for it being slow usually if I restart it goes back to normal too.
-
I'd rather people not be able to access your profile at all, killers or survivors. Seeing name? Fine. Accessing profile directly from game? No.
-
Depends.
Tunneled/Camped? around 5k-10k.
Normal match? 25k+ because I'm using prove thyself.

I never said I had "almost 100%". Stop putting words in my mouth. I said that it's maybe a little bit less than fifty. Every other game is 50%. And it might not be exactly 50%, but I'm escaping enough games that I don't feel uncomfortable when I play.
I played three games this morning. I escaped one out of the three (and the first one didn't count because I had to go AFK because my pasta was boiling over).
I think the thing that helps my survival rate the most is just doing gens. In a lot of solo games, I do three out of the five, because everyone else wants to do other things. I definitely feel like I have to do the heavy lifting there, but it is what it is. You don't do gens, you don't live.
Maybe the fact that you're a good survivor actually affects your survival rate in a negative way. I'm at mid-MMR at best as survivor, so I don't have to deal with Nurse and Blight every other game.
Clearly my team mates with 100 hours should not be dealing with nurses and blights then. The only time solo q is enjoyable for me is in cross off when everyone on my team has over 1k hours. Even though I mostly face nurses and blights there, at least my team knows what they're doing.

It's uncalled for yet it happens all the time.

Well you wouldn’t be the one genrushing; your team letting you die & finishing all five gens while you were hooked (instead of trading or whatever) would be genrushing. Did the others get out? And were they using perks designed to counter gen regression perks (hyperfocus vs. thanatophobia, Repressed Alliance vs. Jolt/Call of Brine, etc). Certain perks are genrushy too even though they exist to counteract killer slowdown perks.
I died at 5gens, so what do you think?
There was no genrushing.
-
Just now I got camped at 5 gens. Must have been that crazy genrushing am I right?

You misread. I said every other game. And yeah, it's pretty close to that. Maybe a little less, but not that much.
I don't stream. I'm not even a good survivor or anything. I'm getting pretty good at killer, but most of the survivors I play against as killer can pull tricks I couldn't even dream of. I just think that MMR is doing its job; I seem to be as likely to escape as I am to die.
I haven't done any math, but open exit gates have definitely become a more common sight lately.
That's weird. I consider myself a good survivor. I have over 6k hours in the game and easily 5k of those are solo q, yet I am winning around 25% of my games.
Not sure what you mean with "MMR doing its thing" because I keep getting 100 hour survivors in my lobby, or even less and those hide their hours.
So it really is difficult to believe when someone says they have an almost 100% escape rate in solo q, and then say they mostly play killer.
-
@hailxsatanxeveryxday said:
I don't know why everyone keeps saying this. I got destroyed every game for the first week or two after 6.1.0, and now survivor has 100% BP, no queue, and I escape every other game now that my MMR has had time to adjust.
It's fine. Hell, I'm playing more survivor than ever before.
You're escaping every game in solo q? do you stream by any chance? would love to see how you play to achieve that.
-
28k with 4 BPS and a pudding... I wish.
-
Yes I see it in almost all the matches where there's a screaming perk/power.
-
Had a bad match?
-
Solo Q buffs.
Cross Progression.
Devotion incentives etc.
Freddy complete rework.
Some love to certain killers like Billy, Deathslinger, Trapper, etc.

Without any of those things.

I mean you said the same thing in my post, without reading it I assume lol. Frame perfect everytime, not even baiting it and just holding w for 10 seconds while not looking behind themselves. Not using it vs a blight who hasn't been baiting it out, who is gliding past your hitbox and can instantly hit you and has done so twice before going for a hit. You can never know 100% but it's pretty easy to tell, especially with blight.
Blight and Nurse are the easiest killers to use new dead hard against though, unless you're just m1ing.

You're protecting a clear auto-dh scenarios is so sus to me. =)
If you think otz proof isn't enough... Read this, please...
I'm playing a lot of games as a Hag, and I have at least 3 out of 10 games with subtle cheaters, due to my mmr.
Recently, I was having 2 characters in different matches: Ada and David. Now try to protect this scenarios...
- I knew that David have a DH, coz he used it before, so David stepped while injured on a trap while I was busy drawing one, so it took me a good 1 second to teleport, when I teleported he was quite far from me to hit, but I still lunge due to muscle memmory (insta teleport hit), guess what? He used DH out of no where being far from me right at the same time as I just started a lunge. He was using DH perfectly before, while he was pretty bad at looping.
- Now with Ada on another match... Same thing: I knew she has DH, and she was injured, I was chasing her to a pallet, and then she dropped it. We end up at the different sides of a pallet just staring at eachother, then I decided to M1 this pallet to scare her away, guess what? She used DH for 0 reason, again at the same time with my M1. She was on the other side of a pallet, why using DH?
No matter how much I wait for DH in these 2 games, they never using it, when I don't M1. And these 2 guys using DH perfectly even without looking behind. This is nonsence.
I'm reporting every single such situation, I know, there is A LOT of auto-dh users.
I'm not protecting hackers, if that's what you're implying. I've reported multiple hackers before and I have even posted various threads about the hacking problem.
I stopped reading after you claimed I'm protecting hackers.
-
Play multiple matches through the day until I get tired of being tunneled/having bad team mates and take a break to play something more relaxing (slime rancher 2 right now) then get back to DBD when I have cooled off. Just keep on grinding to p100 and then I'll take a break.

BT basekit made it easier to get away. Especially when someone uses BT or you use OtR.
Using both BT and OTR is not productive since they dont stack. What usually happens is the killer will just hit you through BT and then catch you fast enough since because of nerfed speed boost from getting hit + STBL

The more you double down the more I'm convinced you're not actually processing the argument.
If they drop a pallet and you swing on the other side and they DH that's a script.
If you're on the other side of a T and L and your swing makes them DH that's a script.
If the bodyblock is clean and they DH the instant your lunge starts that's Amore (Script)
I only ever considered you a disaffected SoloQ player, but this is some pretty weak critical thinking out of you.
I didn't double down though. Nothing in my comment was me doubling down on my opinion. I just don't think those situations are 100% proof someone is cheating/hacking/scripting/whatever.
-
Hopefully soon. They have been talking about it for years now.

@VikingDragonXii said:

No what they mean is times when you don't even target the survivor that used DH or situations where there is no point to use it.
For example I'm chasing a Nea and a Dwight, the Dwight was unhooked by Nea and to be fair I go after Nea. Theres at least a Survivor and a half space between them and I attack Nea, my stain is on Nea not Dwight and once I attack the Dwight DHs at the perfect moment to avoid the hit but I was never targeting him.
The other Situation I have seen is I'm chasing a Dwight and he jumps a window but I try for a lunge. I'm a few secs late and he's on the other side but when my attack would connect the window he DHs when there would be no reason to.
So you think those occasions are just 100% proof they're scripting and not just using dead hard by chance?
Because for me that's like when someone is hiding in a locker, and the killer happens to search that locker right away instead of others. It's not proof the killer is hacking, it's coincidence.

Well I'm sorry, but it's the truth: you didn't read my comment properly and then tried to put words into my mouth.
I described a specific scenario in which it's quite easy and reliable to identify what Otzdarva called "Auto Dead Hard". I said nothing about "being good = hacking". I'm not in the mood for comment-tirades, so I decided it would be easier to just share the video.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3216658#Comment_3216658
Alright, since you apparently categorically dismiss this, I'm not inclined to continue the conversation. As far as I am concerned, I will report people doing shady stuff like in Otz' video. See ya.
So you're gonna report people without concrete proof that they're hacking, alright.
-

I don't know why, but people seem to have a really hard time with reading comprehension these days.
I'd like to say a lot of things about that comment you just made, but it would probably get me banned. So instead, I'll link to this video and suggest that after watching it (especially at 3 minutes), you read my comment again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaQmtvlCJqM
Have a nice day in the fog.
I read your comment, I still disagree. Just because someone times a dead hard good doesn't mean they're scripting. There's no concrete proof. That Otz video isnt proof either.
-
@Alionis said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3216646#Comment_3216646
It's noticeable when they do the dead-hard animation frame perfect every time you go for an attack, even if the attack is not directed at them, but they happen to be close (like for example when you try to hit a survivor next to them).
So them doing it good = scripting? We cant just assume everyone who plays good is hacking.
Sure, there a lot of subtle hackers right now, which are worst imo because you cant be 100% sure to report, some people are just good.
-
@SunsetSherbet said:
Other survivors are to blame for that in the vast majority of my matches. Not the killer tunneling and camping. It's people DCing/suiciding at the drop of a hat and turning a game into a 5 gen 3 v 1
You can blame both.
-
How do you know they were scripting dead hard?
-
@Tsulan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3216538#Comment_3216538
Yeah no, they could reverse the changes from the dash distance and you wouldn´t see a change in the camping&tunneling, because the reason is a different one.
STBL basekit made it easier to camp/tunnel imo.
-
@Chaos999 said:
The thing is, the gap between solo and 3-4 stack, even if they aren't playing super efficiently, is a real thing. General buffs to survivors does not address this gap, and it's balanced out by buffs to killers, which turns the whole thing into an arms race between SWFs and killers, with solo being caught in between.
Communication is a key element that's necessary to implement as base kit for survivor.
Couldnt have said it better.
They need to buff solo to SWF level and then balance everything according to that.

i should have phrased it as 0.whateverseconds . Look buddy mate friend, the duration of the initial bubble is not important or in any way relevant to the discussion you asked for how it would affect people negatively and i told you how.
Killer not camping yet vs decent survivors you are getting a serious advantage in chases because you dont have to guess, you see them coming your way and noone else is nearby, BBQ, run. You know how annoying it is when you face the occasional really good SWFs that do that? Imagine every solo doing the same if they are good enough.
You are welcome for the answer buddy friend pal <3
I didn't ask tho. It doesn't affect anyone negatively.

It's not 0 seconds, I'm sure you'd know that if you used kindred everyday, or even played survivor more.

Its a problem because if you are working on a gen and the killer starts immediately walking towards you can be on the other side of the map by the time they get to your gen. Aka the most annoying part of playing against good swf.
Things like this shouldnt be hard to get buddy.
That's not even a thing right now because it has a black bubble.
-
People who say it showing the killer aura would be too strong..... why is it a problem? is camping not easy enough already?
-
Bonus is still on survivor for me 99% of the time.
-
@Xernoton said:
Yeah and while we're at it, why not add Bond on top of that? Survivors already get a second perk base. We don't need survivors running multiple builds at once. If you want the benefit of a perk you should try and run it instead of asking for it to become base kit. That's how it used to work.
Solo Q survivors shouldnt have to run perks to have the same things SWF gets for free.
-
@Katzengott said:
Stop with the basekit nonsense and just bring Kindred!

There is a difference between someone playing good and someone perfectly using their DH every time after three dozen spins without even looking at the killer. Same with people that teabag behind pallets and then DH when the killer swings.
How is teabagging comparable to cheating?
