Anywho, I don't think I know of any game with a ranking system where people systemically try to de-rank. That's how bad it is. The queue times at rank 1 are atrocious because no one wants to be there, there is no incentive to it. Ranking up only results in longer queue times and more cancerous games.
You can scream "but the challenge is the reward!!!1!" until your lungs are blue, it won't change the fact that a large number of players find that inadequate to the point of purposefully deranking, ruining the ranked system for everyone from rank 1 to 15. Exclusive skins for placing rank 1-5 at the end of a 2-3 month season would be nice, but I'd settle for even just Iridescent Shards. Just... anything really.

Camping is very easy to counter. You deal with it the exact same way as a hatch standoff.Everyone just swarms the hook, and cancel unhook attempts until the killer strikes someone, that guy bolts and while the killer is on cooldown someone else unhooks and absolutely everyone gets away.

absolutely. survivors should be punished for not hiding, in this hide and seek based game, instead of rewarded for pallet looping. i often have maxd boldness at the end of a big chase, and the gens are usually just about finished.Nickenzie said:

* An arbitrary goal example might be 150 pips.
* Killers have an infernal skins line (for example).

they will never add “looping” to the tutorial, despite it being the most commonly used tactic in chases, because they dont want to admit that looping is a core mechanic, despite the fact that they balance around it.
essentially, the core playerbase (survivors) were upset that killers could eventually catch them while looping, and demanded change. specifically, one dev played a match and looped hard but died anyway to bloodlust. the next day, it hit the chopping block.
it is what it is.

I also checked the times and at 22 seconds into the match, they got into Tier 2. At 1 minute 38 seconds they got into Tier 3 and their Ruin got ruined immediately after. I just wanted to be sure.
False alarm, I should have checked his add-ons. I am not familiar with Myer’s add-ons because I do not own him but I should have looked them up before pointing the finger.
Edit: He also said something about no-clipping which also lead me to believe he was cheating.
I thought he meant he was walking through walls and stuff. I only saw him like twice the entire match so I was not sure.
I guess it was my terrible team to blame for the whole debacle. I saw a Meg running around in the open.
Without knowledge of the killers and their addons, you made a ridiculous accusation, and are now blaming others for it.
learn from this and never make another accusation again on a topic you are inexperienced in.

for instance.
killer makes lobby. killers ping to the main server spikes to red. a popup appears stating that your connection is not stable enough to host a game. you either click exit and make a new lobby, or you click continue, and get a mark on the server for it. the survivors arent a factor in that.
the client would keep track of ping during the match, and if it spiked to red for more than a second or two, it also triggers a mark.
after 5 marks for knowingly hosting bad ping games, you receive a 24 hour ban from making killer lobbies. then 48, etc to perma.
no killer is going to risk losing the ability to play killer permanently over cable pulling or a bad connection. -

if they are claiming you did it, in multiple games, your lag-spikey internet probably isnt good enough to keep queing as killer, but they do anyway and say “well you should have looked at the lobby ping meter” which may wont display a noticable spike in the 60secs of lobby, because most people arent staring at that tiny bar with eyes glued to it for the countdown.

Also the ping in lobby can be different the in game ping due to the game actually running at full capacity
