I’m having the same issue. I linked both my Xbox and Steam accounts and merged them and logged into both accounts. My levels and everything are there but all of the paid dlc characters are saying I don’t own them on Steam and that I need to unlock them even though they have my cosmetics and perks equipped.
@GGGGhost said:
I tried booting each one up again and Steam is still showing that I need to unlock all of the other survivors and killers even though they have all my cosmetics and perks on.
Follow the link Joce posted and watch the video. There was a step I completely skipped... I'm guessing you did too.

Is there suppose to be a delay or something? I have all 3 of my accounts and devices updated, I've logged in on each and...nothing.
-
I feel ya... I'm re-accessing my steam account now with a laptop that is def now ment for gaming, lol. Just hop booting up the main menu doesn't crash it.

I fail to see why we CANT have dredge specific lockers. There's already spots assigned on maps for various killer specific props to utilize. Pig's boxes, Freddy's alarm clocks, Sadako's Tv's singularity's EMP printers ect. These locations have the property of being spread around the map very well... It really shouldn't be all that hard for Dredge to have a similar killer specific prop that I'd just regular lockers in those locations.

Only when we get for killers something simmilar. Like when 4 gens or 3 gens are completet but the killer has only 1 to 3 hooks, then every survivor gets a hook state automaticly added. To keep things fair for BOTH sides.
4 survivors on their way running to the open exit gates, just for a Meg to trip over a tree root that wasn't there 2 seconds prior and accidentally moris herself. Now the killer gets a kill, lol.

Binding of Kin proved BHVR doesn't have quality control, don't know why players get surprised when BHVR routinely takes a steaming dump in the bed on updates
Usually when they mess up, it affects something that can be locked out. A specific killer or map can't be used til a fix is released. This is the first time when I just sit the game out entirely until a fix launches.
-
What we have now is basically the old hatch system, but with the exit gates. It felt real bad before scrambling with a super close game just for it to suddenly end with 3 survivors taking hatch... but at least THOSE games required a key.

When I play survivor, I play with some friend, and there's a new in the band…
He keep running at the killer, everytime, and for no reason, like, I loop the killer and suddently, he appear from a corner, running in the opposite way than us and got hit
Or, we unhook him, and we say to him to follow us but no, he run near the killer after panicking "why the killer is after him"
It become a joke when he is here, but… Sometimes, is just… I don't know how to call that except he just want to die for no reason, not even for heroïc reasonIt's times like that that playing killer, I just go "Great... I'm gonna get accused of tunneling now..."
-
Yeah... I'm just gonna play something else for awhile til the bugs get worked out. I've come to expect SOME bugs, but these are way too game breaking.

Yepp. I got downed and slugged by the killer and had a dwight with flashlight in my team. The killer went away to chase my 2 other teammates while dwight just crouched next to me waiting for the killer to come back. Killer didnt come back and dwight apparently rather let me bleed out than give up on his FL save idea. Solo queue DBD experience
That's so weird. I didn't even know you CAN flashlight save while inside a locker.

But the matches happen, do they not? Regardless of whether or not they affect the strength of things, we should be able to see them because they are a part of the DBD experience.
A DC after the Gates are open removes the match from being counted.
A DC while getting mori'd removes the match.
We need to be able to see stats for both.
I'll agree that having a separate category showing the % of matches with DCes and when those DCes take place can be informative, but still think they should be seperated from normal kill/escape stats.

Maybe not, but shouldn't those other players in the match be counted? Does their experience not matter?
Perhaps you're a nice Killer and felt bad for them, maybe you let them get some BP and let them go, I don't know. A lot of other players would take early DC's as a way to an easy victory.
Those matches still happen, they still affect the players within them. I don't think just completely discarding them is the way anymore.
No, matches with less than 5 players should NOT be considered the same as normal matches. Whether I'm nice to the others or not, the kills and escapes don't correctly show how strong anything is.

I don't understand why BHVR have seemingly decided that nothing can be learned from trials that include a DC.
You'd think they would be more interested in finding out why such things happen with the regularity that they do and why such a large chunk of their player base is so unhappy.
I'd be willing to bet that after a string of poorly matched up trials, the chances of players DCing out of frustration increases dramatically (many seem to frame this as a "Survivor problem", but I've seen plenty of Killers do it too). How could BHVR ever discover if this is true or not if they discard every trial with a DC? It's as if they don't see frequent DCing as an accurate reflection of the experience of playing DBD (we all know it is).
In All fairness, alot of DCes are just from ppl being salty they didn't have a better start of the trial. I recently had a game as Wraith where I had 2 DCes from who I'm assuming was a 2 man SWF within 30 seconds of the match starting. Didn't even get to hook anyone before they dipped out. Should the game really be balanced around THEM or anyone else who DCes as soon as they get found first?
-
Had a Freddy game like that the other day. If they COULD talk after game, I'm sure they would've accused me of slugging and tunneling when I had a guy who would get off hook and run at me TWICE when I'm just trying to hook his teammate elsewhere.
-
Yeah... except you'll always have ppl playing moris or map offerings.

Because you have tons of ppl who tried streaming once, got no viewers and haven't streamed since, but left their name as TTV. I've seen PLENTY of ppl with TTV names that haven't actually streamed in over a year.

I think they mean like regular movement, also the fastest then would be hag, singularity, and unknown with their near instant transmission with a (previous) max range of 60m on hag and a infinite range on singu and unknown
Teleportation is not a measurement of speed. There's no in between from going from 1 spot to another.

It wouldn't have to be denser, just darker. Instead of bright pink, it would be dark grey. That would have similar particle count, so it shouldn't be any harder to render.
-
The answer is Dredge. During nightfall, his locker travel speed is 38 m/s, which is faster than any killer can go with any addon/perk combo.

As someone who plays survivor more than killer, but enjoys both, WA+Franklin's being such a hot topic kind of cracks me up. I was ready to jump on the hate wagon at first. The hype of it made it look ridiculously OP and uncounterable. Then I played against it a few times. Real talk, it's a nuisance at worst. It can be kind of annoying to have to jump off a gen, pick up my toolbox, and walk it to the map edges. It wastes a little time, sure. Getting hit with franklins is decidedly more annoying because I probably will lose my item charges and possibly a BNP if I'm lucky enough to have one. If I get hooked, hopefully a teammate picks up my box and carries it to the map edges. They waste a little time. Not a huge deal.
The real villains in this perk combo are other survivors who refuse to pick up and move items when they see them. Like, c'mon guys. It's not that big a deal. And if you know WA is in effect, STOP OPENING CHESTS FOR NEW OBJECTS.
All in all, a lot of hate hype for no reason.
The amount of opened chests cracks me up. I'll often times look around and see 6 items on the ground.

I can't speak for anyone else, but when I say that gen times are okay, it's always with the added element of "except for" toolboxes.
If nobody in the trial has toolboxes - even if they're running something like Resi or Deja Vu or Overzealous or what have you - gen times are okay.
This is meaningful because it helps us narrow down what the talking point and feedback should be. It's not that gen times need looking at, it's that toolboxes need to be nerfed, specifically.
Feel like the issue with gen times comes down to alot of stacking. You can have one game where people run balanced builds (as in perks that cover different things), and the next match people can run a full loadout that all stacks towards gen speed. How can you balance something with both these approaches in mind?
While killer slowdowns have been designed in an anti-synergy approach, survivor gen speed perks can for the most part ALL stack. Killer slowdown are generally divided between progress reduction and gen blocking. Gens that are blocked or already regressing can't be kicked to utilize perks like Pop, while gens that are blocked ALSO don't regress, even if they would otherwise be regressing (ruin for example). IMO, this is a pretty good approach. On the survivor side though... no such approach is taken. Most gen speed perks can be used in tandem.

There is still no support for that on consoles? Didn't know that.
As a mouse and keyboard player, I would also like an overhaul of the controls.I think it's happened to everyone at some point: Killer chase, you wanted to do a fast vault and then disappeared into the nearby locker because the same key performs both functions.
It's really weird... I can hop on Warframe and play with kb/m, but not DBD. No cluewhy this isn't a thing yet.

You mean like Destrike, that only temporarily extends the tunnel chase, because the killer is dedicated and knows I can't use it twice? I think we both know the game has major flaws in that and yet DCs get banned
If you think the game is so unplayable that you just HAVE to DC...stop queueing up. The DC ban is for this reason, so you can't queue up and ruin another game.

Similar reason as to why alot of fps games don’t use it/force PC queue when using kbm on console, kbm can do alot more than a controller and in dbd’s case, alot of killers are just better on keyboard and mouse compared to controller
While this can be fixed by just having kbm force you into crossplay like most normal fps games, I’m guessing the devs most likely are working in other things first before putting focus on kbm on consolesEDIT: I should add, idk if Conclave in warframe does this cause I never touched it in my life and nothing could force me to play conclave
That's just a reason why it should be a priority. Give EVERYONE the same options rather than only some.

Not allowing the tokens to recharge is completely unfair when going against killer who run full aura builds. The entire perk will become worthless 1-2 minutes into the match. Not to mention scratched or vanity mirror meyers. Also the weave franklins combo would nuke it super fast as well too.
Distortion is not the issue here. It’s the over reliance on aura reading perks and getting upset when your build gets countered, which is the purpose of perks.
Scratched mirror is kind of a bad example since you don't recharge tokens already against a SM Myers. Vanity mirror also is ridiculously unlikely to get many tokens since you're going against a T2 Myers who is PROBABLY using dead rabbit for a tiny TR.
-
Feel like an important note is to remember killer instinct doesn't show distance. If I hook someone and get 3 killer instinct blips from BBQ, I'd have no clue who is close and who is on the other side of the map.

Thats my biggest point when I talked about harder penalties is not a good idea
Remove hook suicide and players will do that, then you are playing a match that you have 0 chance to win, whats the point? Won't you rather go next instead of wasting your time with a match that pretty much its guaranteed you are gonna lose?
Instead of punishing players for not playing a game, people need to figure out why these players don't want to play the game in the first place
Ppl pull this all the time for no other reason than they got downed too fast on their first chase. Frankly... every other game has penalties in place for throwing in a team game. If you pull this in LoL or Overwatch, you get a temp ban. What's the difference?

Sure, but if that happens one in every hundred matches (against SM, so rarer than that in reality), we wouldn't have as much of a problem. There are players who do that against any killer, and it sucks but it's not as systemic of a problem as we have with Merchant.
I get it but... all I'm saying is the number of ppl it takes to ruin a match is 1. Currently there is no penalty for quitting if you don't like the killer character, map, perks, zodiac sign, etc. It's way too easy to bomb a match and hop into another one instantly.
Thats Not even talking about the ppl the quit because they got downed first... THAT can happen against perkless trapless Trapper.

Well, to be fair, not everyone hates her, and I don't believe everyone who does is unreachable. There are people who actually listen when it's explained why common complaints aren't accurate, after all.
Still, like I said, I agree but I think calling for a rework is shortsighted. There's no reason to assume it'd work this time.
Unfortunately you don't need EVERYONE to hate her to ruin a match. 1 survivor running to a hook and pointing is all it takes to ruin the match.

Fair, but I think that kind of makes him a pretty bad stealth killer haha. He kind of requires Monitor or Dead Rabbit to even become stealthy in tier 2 in the first place.
The main aspect of his power is Tier 3. Without that he is just a generic M1 killer with slightly tuned stats. While other killers can run out of parts of their powers at some point, like Freddy, they don't lose the main part of it. They still have some power they can utilise where as Myers just gets some altered stats. He's very outdated and needs a rework because of it.
Now Freddy is a completely different issue where even when he does have his powers they aren't even worth it. His Snares are some of the worst anti-loop and require people to be asleep and his TP has a huge cool down and as you said gets weaker as the game progresses. While he doesn't technically lose all his powers at any point his powers aren't even that great in the first place to justify all the downside that he may as well not even have any powers most of the time haha.
Freddy should be at the top of their rework priority list with Myers just behind. It's disappointing that neither have received anything yet :(
Yeah... I've been relvling all my killers to P3 since getting my PS5 and Freddy... is actually one killer I've been dragging my feet on. I use to consider myself a Freddy main.

Personally, I'm not a fan of anonymous mode. However, I don't think that removing it would change anything.
I would be more in favor of rewarding players for positive behavior. For example, if you are rated positively in the tally screen, you receive a 5% bonus for each positive rating until the next rank reset. If you are rated well 20 times during the month, you will receive a bonus of 100% on every bloodpoint earned. While a good idea in theory… this would honestly just turn into a way for SWFs to get extra points.

I mean if you want to kill the Franklin's combo, just make it so Weave Attunement only works for depleted items or items with no charges (flashbangs, etc). This is the trigger for Weave Attunement anyway.
You'd probably need a buff to Weave Attunement though, so to give a full list of changes:
- The auras of dropped depleted survivor items or temporary items are revealed to you, as well as any survivors within 12m. This effect lingers for 3s after leaving the range.
- Causes survivors carrying an empty or temporary item to suffer the Oblivious status effect.
Note: Killer items like VHS takes and turrets are "special items" thus are not affected.
This makes Weave Attunement an anti gen-rush perk. It doesn't really stop medkits or flashlights, but it does mess with toolboxes. Dumping your toolbox into a gen immediately will drop the toolbox and will reveal your location at that gen to the killer, and in order to remove it you have to pick it back up and suffer permanent Oblivious.
You then have to move somewhere to drop the toolbox in a safe place, basically undoing the time you saved genrushing.
This also has limited synergy with Franklin's but has to be earned, or maybe even Overwhelming Presense as a counter flashlight build.
Wouldn't mind something like this to break the combo. Was thinking the drop trigger COULD be whenever you finish using an item rather than when you run out of charges. You kinda hit the nail on the head with flashlights...they typically last all game or most of it.

Eh I don't really consider his reduced terror radius a 'power'. It's like counting Wesker's 40m and Hag's 24m terror radius' a part of their power.
Yeah true that Freddy loses some power, but Myers can lose basically everything.
Both need changes badly.
Myers reduced TR is basically the entire reason he's considered a stealth killer. It's a little bit different, lol.

I think the devs are going about it the right way to have limited time modes for these kinds of events. Even a popular one like chaos shuffle. Everything gets stale eventually.
The issue with it being a permanent game mode is that you'd still have a meta develop over time, and not in a healthy way. Even with random perks like CS does, what do you think happens when someone decides to make a new account and only unlock the 4 meta perks? The game can only give them perks they have unlocked, so the 'random' mode becomes identical to normal mode as people do that more. And it would actively punish people for progression.
Chaos shuffle didn't take into account which perks any player had unlocked. A new account wouldn't have any difference in perks at all. It's the closest thing to a casual mode we'd be able to get, and a casual mode is something ppl have been begging for forever.

I'm not antagonizing, I'm pointing out that there are certainly times where having a perk combo can or will cause unintended exponential power spikes that need to kept in mind.
You're specifically arguing that the perk is useless without the combo perk. That's exactly where for the people is and was before BU got changed to endurance.
When I even offer that maybe buffing chests would fix part of your concern I get literally attacked out the gate. That seems pretty obvious that you don't want to fix the problem, you want the combo and only that.
You immediately started comparing random other combos. I'm not trying to go on a rant about combos. KILL ALL THE COMBOS!!! Set it so certain perks are straight up unplayable together... I don't care. My thread is talking about Weave when not comboed...hense the title. Unlike other perks that can be comboed but still work by themselves, weave really doesnt.
How would one go about buffing chests? Also, considering the perk basically announces itself once an item is depleted, why do you think anyone would purposefully strew items around the map after getting new ones from chests?
-
@AmpersandUnderscore said:
Taking up multiple perk slots and 'having the perks be nearly useless individually' has no bearing on whether or not a combo is 'broken'.
Or are you trying to say that somehow BU+FtP or BP+FB were unjustly nerfed because those also took up two perk slots and the perks did nearly nothing on their own?
It's interesting in this case, since an obvious fix to this would be to make chests worthwhile... but that isn't being mentioned either.
Just To be clear, at no point did I say any of that. You're arguing with a strawman in your head right now. I'm completely OK with OP stuff to be tuned down. They did plenty to make various slowdowns have anti-synergy for this exact reason. Blocked gens can't be kicked, nor do they regress. Regressing gens ALSO can't be kicked.
I would like to be in the position where individual perks don't HAVE to be used in combos to get value. That shouldn't be a crazy stance to take worthy of immediately getting antagonized over.

And unlike the other Insta-down killers he also can use up his entire power.
He’s also the only killer left who can basically lose their entire power.
Mostly true. He keeps his faster vault speed and small terror radius. He's kinda like Freddy in that he still has SOME power, but loses a good bit by endgame.

Doesn't Weave make them drop their item too? Without Franklin's or addons to drop items, that would give a blip of information. It would also cause exhaustion. I agree that it needs another perk/addon to combo with it well, but it can still be useful alone.
