I wonder why some people think hes horribly designed. I've been playing and enjoying Trickster, but not once considered that he is a bad killer
Because his gameplay is unhealthy in every sense of a 1v4 game. His power is extremely uninteractive for the survivors in the 1v1 while also requiring little skill or depth to play for the killer, but he is also weak in the 1v4, having a slower movement speed and no use for using his power at a range. In terms of 1v1 killers, he is not only one of the worst in terms of game design, but he isn't even the best at doing what he does.

The way you see Trickster is the same way I see Clown, Legion, Ghostface, Deathslinger and Pig. They're humanoid killers who are no different than most regular people.
The thing that makes them unique (including Trickster) is they each have their quirks.
Trickster fits DBD as he embodies the psychotic crazy that resembles the Joker from the Batman series, who doesn't care about fame or money but his ego and ambition to kill. His creepy smile alone gives me the creeps.
Many people do hate his pretty boy persona, but for me, Trickster is the inner crazy killer that DBD lacked this whole time.
Tbf, legion and ghostface fit that more, ghostface especially. Trickster more fits along side the crazed artist niche. Even then, his lore isn't even that amazing, the kpop industry in real life is really rough and they could've made his lore really deep but skipped on it to make it way more basic since it was basically a kpop collab (can't make kpop look bad). Same thing they did to his power, made it really easy to understand but mega boring so it would hopefully sell good.

This killer pretty much goes against everything that makes a killer fun. This is the one killer that I actually feel like can just leave the game entirely because his visuals and his gameplay don't fit in DBD at all. There's no counterplay when in a 1v1 and once you are getting focused down with 14 knives that will hit you no matter what you do, everyone's stuck on gens getting bored to death. Once they do get their turn of being chased, no interactive multiplayer experience.
Sorry for the rant, but ######### this killer. No matter whether I win or lose, I want to blow my brains out. I'd rather play against basement Bubba.
What is even funnier is trickster isn't even GOOD, like all the other "animation = injury" killers are better than him at almost everything. Trickster is not only extremely unfun and boring for survivors, but he also isn't even fun and strong for the killer player either.

Add additional passive perks to the survivors that reveal their history and add uniqueness to each hero (Bill recovers faster, he crouches down by 10% faster, Steve saves faster from the hook, the Claudette heals faster, ace has 10% more luck , etc.)
For survivors, this will add variety, because assassins have a choice of different heroes and breaking boredom from the same type of gameplay
This will just add uniqueness to each hero and more reflection on their own set of skills, otherwise at the moment this is just a non-pontoon skin
It will also be more convenient for the killers to understand what kind of heroes are in front of him and each game will be different in that in front of you there are different heroes with their passives
At the moment, the survivors do not have particularly useful and interesting perks, and passives will break this boredom and add their own meta
the devs barely added boons and the forums couldn't handle it, at this point if the devs make any nice changes it is bad

That's what all it's become. When I play solo survivor it feels like I am playing DBD, when I play with friends it feels unfair and bullying. Like to the point we had to make up out of game rules as to not ruin the atmosphere and fun of the game, for us or the Killer we end up against. Most play groups are not going to be that courteous.
Even when you're not going out of your way to bully the killer it still feels humiliating to them. A coordinated flashlight save, pallet save, and coordinated repairing to always be repairing the gen opposite the map where the killer is, or only pulling the killer away from the gen to be worked on. Coordinated hiding. It's just plainly not fun for the Killer - at all, and these are very normal things to do in a SWF, and then get's mistaken as bullying because - on every time I try to chase an injured survivor one after another I get body blocked. Chase a different survivor the ones are already healing and body blocking again. Gens go quickly or steadily as they keep body blocking. When you do finally down someone there is always 1-3 survivors nearby to drop a pallet or get a flashlight save - they always coordinate getting downed in the open so the Killer can't look at a wall. Try slugging, they coordinate unbreakable.
Coordinate Head On hits during chases. Coordinate gens to blast mine, and which ones to complete. Coordinate to avoid a 3 gen.
Did you...did you just say people going for head on hits and blast mine using is bullying?
-
@SilentShepherd said:
It's 4 bullies on discord, coordinating via voice chat to bully a lone player.
It's impossible for anyone to beat a good coordinated SWF group. They will communicate your location to each other and gen rush you. You can't even waste time chasing someone down, because as they loop you, he's telling the others where he is looping you, while they safely fix gens.
SWF should only be allowed in Custom matches. Go bully your friend Killer. Leave the general public out of your bullying,
This just in, guy getting beat in a video game calls it bullying, more at 9 pm.

hmm idk why him huntress and slinger gets only 110% ms and and the rest of killers cept nurse is 115 with her 91 but ofc its cause of blink anyways which makes sense. but yeah hunt/trick/ds should get that same 115% treat
Deathslinger I possibly agree with, since he is just huntress but no locker reload and shorter range. Also spirit is 110 btw. Huntress has the strength and pressure though to be good at 110, and trickster can also stay 110, his power just needs reworked

What the title says. Now that survivors know how to play against him he seems very bad.
Not really, he NEEDS to be reworked to where his power is stronger and more unique, and not bad design for both the killer and survivor.

You say that you see a lot of killers complaining about the survivor-sided nature of development, with "only making killers worse" and "gutting characters for no reason". Asserting that that's not true doesn't make it so, and asserting that DS's nerfs were because he was unhealthy for the game also doesn't make that true.
While yes, hyperbolic statements like devs only side with survivors or only hurt killers are inherently false, there's a very real trend toward favouring survivors. It's also unhealthy for the game to gloss over issues with development or ascribe false issues, especially ones based on subjective experiences - and no, it's not helpful to say stuff like "people saying the spirit nerf was unjustified are being silly".
You also class Boons as a secondary objective; you're wrong to do so. It's an optional benefit, not a secondary objective - the latter would mean it was required in some capacity for success or expedited success.
TL:DR - Your opinions are just that. Not fact. Not evidence. Not particularly relevant except as talking points, so just present them as that without pretending that disagreement is lies and misinformation.
I never really thought I was stating my stuff as fact, just stating obvious points. If we look at this last patch, it was most definitely killer sided if anything. I know it is my opinion, but I am still gonna support that opinion.

So I just played a game, and I wondered, I would really love a Replay feature. I would have loved to see the perspective of all players in the game, to see how they reacted to me, or how other players reacted to each other, what strategies I can improve on, how someone beat me, etc....
Before you say it's not technically possible, it is. Old games like COD Blacks Ops 2 had a Theater mode where you could replay the match from the perspective of every player.
So, at the End Lobby of a match, you have the option to Save the replay. If you leave the lobby without saving it, it's gone forever.
Wouldn't this be amazing? If you have a great Killer game, and you want to see the perspective of the Survivors on how they played against you, or if you want to see fellow teammate survivors to see how they did so well, or if you want to just watch the match and enjoy it again from every perspective to see how it turned out the way it did....
This would be an AMAZING feature for DBD.
- more youtube/twitch clip highlights and exposure
- playerbase skill level will grow, so less complaining about things
- re-live the matches you really liked, all over again, from the perspective of your enemy
This would be such a fantastic idea and would help so many players, it is already a problem of players not realizing their own mistakes, watching over games would be awesome.

Here is the thing you have to understand though.
You can’t blame people for complaining if they literally gut a killer’s overall design, if there is NOTHING to compensate for it. Like, what are they suppose to do? Not complain at all and just accept it? Nothing would change if that were the case. This goes for either side.
This is why I never liked the Hillbilly’s changes. His problem were his add ons NOT his base kit. The mere fact that they don’t even acknowledge makes people not appreciate the changes even where they made total sense. So just like with Deathslinger, why was there a need to change his TR? Because people didn’t like them bringing M&A? 😳 Oh no such a busted thing on a killer who cannot literally 4v1.
The problem is the killer’s design most of the time. It is the reason why killers like Trickster suck. You can’t buff them because they would go into overtune territory. Something that doesn’t apply to killers like Freddy and Spirit because they have more going for them.
The point is that just because some nerfs are “warranted” doesn’t mean that the killer wasn’t “gutted”. Especially when it has to do with their main power.
Oh yeah fully agreed with this and even like I said, it is fine to be upset with the nerfs since we didn't get compensation in anyway and technically yeah, he is weaker. It is just the crowd that is taking it as "the devs did it because he is too strong" or "they did it because survivor mains cried," when that wasn't really the case, healthy changes like this are good, but yeah hillbilly was definitely unjustified.
-
@ThiccBudhha said:
So basically we are allowed to complain about the problems you have with killer, and stop complaining about the things you do not consider to be problems? Uh huh...
Didn't say that, I said you can complain about what you want and you have the right, it is just when the complaints are constantly uneducated or blatant false statements that it gets a little out of hand.

A series of luke-warm takes from someone who doesn't experience the issues people complain about isn't any indication you should be listened to, especially with your dismissive commentary after the fact.
Yeah, people overreact. Then there's people who react defensively, like you.
Not really acting defensive, just saying that the constant complaints are a tad annoying when they aren't even true. I do experience the same issues, I just think they are either not really issues with the thing itself, or are things that I as a player can change and they don't require constant fact checking lol

How was he unhealthy? Because he had SOME control in chase over the survivors, in exchange for very little map presence? Is he at fault when survivors give him a free option select at a window, or keep trying to juke his shots when he's not shooting? The delay on the zoom in and the increased terror radius gives players literally no reason to play him over Huntress. Trickster's probably more powerful than him at this point. I was enjoying him so much before his nerf, too. Shots that I could land before, I can't now. Now he has to be played like Huntress, where if you try to quickscope you're gonna miss, but if the survivors dodge and weave you have to wait for them to come directly into your sight, and that's bit gonna happen if they're playing smart and hugging loops to avoid los. This was truly a change which was catered towards survivors who were sub-casual.
No, it wasn't a change based on sub casuals. Even against the best survivors he played the exact same as he would against bad survivors. You were impossible to face in chase, but could be gen rushed, how was that healthy? Having a killer based around incredibly oppressive 1v1 but awful 1v4 is just plain bad design in a game like this, and deathslinger was the worst case of it. He is most definitely at fault that with very little skill, he would end chases fast because survivors literally can't do anything. Deathslinger is still a strong 1v1 killer and if you don't think that, you only played him because he was easy to use with the same power of huntress with none of the skill. The shots you could land before are still very much possible, and he is still a scary killer to face...if the person playing him are actually good. It is like the people being mad at the spirit nerf because she wouldn't be an easy win every single time anymore.
If you want unhealthy things to stay in this game just because they make you feel strong, you are just as bad as the survivors who were mad Decisive got removed because they couldn't abuse it anymore.
-
In terms of game design it is easily deathslinger or trickster, both powers could be good if tuned and reworked but as of now, they are just awful
-
@danielmaster87 said:
You lost me at Deathslinger's nerf being necessary. If he's "too strong", there's no hope for this game.
Did you actually know why he was nerfed? It was because his design was unhealthy and they admitted that, it wasn't because "he was too strong" or "survivors didn't like him", it was because his design was just not good for the game. If you still don't see that, then this post was directed at you lol.

Somehow 16 seconds of time from 1/4 survivors in exchange for team wide free healing or to make an area difficult to chase in is justified.. Dealing with a boon as killer is easy, but it is also beneficial to survivors because that killer just dropped chase or lost a gen to go stomp it out just to have it be put back again at minimal cost to the survivor team.
It's like saying "just bait it out" whenever someone complains about deadhard. If you say it enough and have enough spouting the same dribble then you can drown out the issue and hide it.
Same with SWF complaints. You complain about the balance issues with it just to get drowned out with the "just because i have friends" remarks.
The minimal cost for the survivor is now they wasted their 16 seconds for the buff to get nothing out of it, it is like if you did a totem for inner strength, and then the killer kicked the dust and removed your stack.
It isn't drowning out the issues, because boons really AREN'T that op or broken, like I said in the post. The problem with them is that they just highlight real issues with the game, that isn't on the boons fault, that is a key thing wrong with the game. Healing in general shouldn't be so insane. This reply is basically exactly what the post is about. It isn't drowning out the issue, it is trying to point attention towards actual issues that are around the base game, not just perks.

A secondary objective does not need to benefit the side doing it at all. That just oozes main bias.
A meaningful secondary objective is also something that must be done (preferably by multiple people) or suffer the consequences.
I mean quite literally in most games where there is side things, they are optional and give benefits if you go for it. Not every side objective needs to be a negative thing. Pinhead is an example where he provides a pressure via a side objective but in his case, it isn't really a side objective as it is a necessary part of going against him making it an extra main objective, same with pig. Boons are optional things that require the survivor to make the decision between doing the boon, or doing the main objective.

Complaining comes from lack of information. It won't happen as long as MMR, stats, W/L are revealed. Cause once it will be revealed more experienced players would explain weaker ones how wrong they are.
Currently it's like - Omg, I'm X hours player who knows better than anyone this, this and this is broken so nerf is required.
Why do u think in other games it doesn't happen? Because none is going to listen Bronze player when it's completely fine among higher levels.
While we all can agree on some questions, most discussions are all about personal experience and expectations rather statistics.
I totally agree, the biggest majority of the complaining is from newer players or players that mainly play one side only that just really don't know everything. While our old ranking wasn't the most accurate form it was still better than currently.
I would like it if our SBMM was shown in some way but I understand the problems that could stem from that, like a mass smurf issue.
I just wish more people were more accepting of improving and learning before jumping to stuff needing to be gutted.

Thing is, sometimes the reason given for a change is wrong. The devs DO NOT know what is best for their own game. They have made terrible decisions in the past. Some they undid and others they made another change to try to mitigate the damage.
The reason given for the change is he was easily the most uninteractive and badly designed killer in the game, even compared to spirit. I will be the first to admit that they have made some super bad changes, but I mean they quite literally do know what is best for their game, that is why it is still alive for 5 and some years

But now survivors have imposed another objective on killers by snuffing the blessed totems out and its not like after the 5th time no more totems can be blessed, by trying to snuff out blessed totems the killers is being prevented from their main objective.
It works both ways with boon totems and hex undying as they both fall into the same area of survivors doing totems, undying got nerfed so will be interesting to see what happens with boon totems.
But boons aren't really imposed onto the killer. Hex undying was something the killer did nothing to activate, and stayed extremely oppressive to the point where the best way to counter it was to not do totems and to rush gens. The killer objective is to stop gens from being done and to get kills. Ironically, boons keep them away from their own objective, helping the killer with the gen objective.
Also ironically your argument of boons being similar to undying is funny because they both mean the survivor is doing bones which is good for the killer, the difference is boons aren't forced on anyone and aren't horribly oppressive on the killer.
-
For me in all my years of playing, killer has really never been better to play. I get consistent atleast 2k's and more which means I'm in fair matches, and all the killers feel fairly strong in their own way.
-
All kill was a really nice concept and honestly I think trickster would have fit in well, it is the fact it was basically a collab so everything about him from lore to power was made super boring and basic so he would sell better, and after he in fact did not sell the best, he is now milked with more attention than everyone to try and keep milking sales. Trickster was the start of the trend I'm scared to see continue in DBD where they keep making things that are mega boring and basic because they look "cute" or "quirky", and people buy them up and then act surprised the game isn't getting better.

I do use hexes, infact I said i was using thrill and I have even been using a shaman build. Having your hexes be done is good, it means they are wasting time away from the objective. Yeah, if you literally need them to win, then it sucks not being able to be carried anymore, but if you say ghostface isn't affected by CoH that is comical, do you think every single hit is an instadown? Not to mention I've been playing Doctor too and still doing good, it is about capitalizing on wasted time. You provided zero evidence. Whereas I, on the other hand, am telling the evidence I have from the actual experience of playing the game as killer recently.
If you are finished with your superiority complex of insulting me and telling me to get good or quit the game, let's agree to disagree. If you don't wish to debate as an adult, best leave it as that.
You didn't give evidence either, and you used awful examples to compare to boons, showing you really just don't understand how they work. You saying "Well me no like, me playing bad now 😡" was evidence that I not only consulted, but I gave a response and answer to.
It isn't a superiority complex. Just like me saying you probably make excuses for losses in-game, you are now making excuses for a discussion. I have only stated things that happen in-game and the solution of being able to pressure good and make use of the time wasted from boons as it is a great amount.
Since you count just saying how it has been going as "evidence" then fine.
Since the new patch has dropped, I decided to play mainly ghostface, a killer that besides the occasional instadown, is an m1 killer that relies on hit and run, a playstyle that said CoH should gut. It does really hurt the playstyle, but not horribly. My build consisted of Thrill, Lethal, Pop, and BBQ. Thrill is a great new perk for making blessing take longer.
I have yet to feel the need to think "wow, boons are op, im losing so much to it!" I have lost a handful of matches due to me playing fairly bad, but other than that, it hasnt super affected me. I saw Boon: shadowstep in about 3/4ths of my matches, and I only got confused by it twice on Coldwind, the same match. Circle of healing is really threatening and it was in about 90% of my matches, but everytime I heard the thunder, that meant one less survivor was working on a gen.
Overall, being able to track footstep sounds, blood that isn't hidden by shadowstep, and breathing if they didn't have iron will made shadowstep nearly a wasted perk slot. For circle of healing it was definitely effective, but I could keep track of gens better as kicking the boon took almost no time from me, and took survivors a good amount of time to keep resetting. It is a strong perk and it makes me happy to see something new in the game besides the same build every time, but there was never nothing I could do about it. Compared to my matches last patch, these new matches on average lasted about 2 minutes longer as well, really nice to see.
Good enough adult talk for you?

There it is. The cry of the elitist. We have a nicely balanced game, then Boon comes in and all of a sudden my games are car crashes. But yes, sure its the killers fault. Survivors have been given a huge advantage because I'm seeing it literally every game. And I wasn't seeing it before.
If we should be able to play killer without scratch marks, or with survivors healing super fast without med kits. Let's make all killers half speed... then it's "get good". Let's make gen speeds even faster.... "get good". Remove two of the killers perk slots.... "get good". Easy right.
what you are suggesting are flat things that killers can literally not do anything, and are nothing like boons lmao. You are acting like boons are a permanent base kit boost to all survivors that make them impossible to down and you can't do anything about when in reality they are a time sink for survivors that require them to leave their objective to do, and that killers can deal with relatively easily. This isn't the cry of an elitist, it is me telling you that the game was much worse, and that boons are a pretty healthy change compared to the past, hell compared to the past killer has never felt better to play. Again it really seems like you are the type to never blame a loss on yourself, and that you have to have an excuse for every loss that comes your way. The game was sure as hell not balanced before this patch, I mean as killer I have never played more stress-free because large key escapes are literally not a possibility anymore. BTW, CoH without medkits is still 16 seconds to heal, not a super fast heal, and again, if you can't track and chase without scratch marks that is literally a problem on your skill. That is ok, it is all about improving, but that is hard if you are so stubborn to change and improvement that at the sight of it you act like killer is impossible to play. It has never been better.
-

"On me" "on me". You're that phrase eh? Survivors get this big advantage they didn't have before. But sure. Its all on me. Got it.
It is the fact the survivors DIDN'T get a huge advantage? Did you not play around the time of Sprint Burst that recovered while running? Or MoM on release? Old DS? Did you not play when infinites were a near constant in maps? A good team based new effect that requires you to leave your objective to activate it and that the killer can deal with fairly easily is not nearly as OP and broken as things used to be. Playing the killer means you are playing the harder role, it is that way in basically every asymmetrical game. Survivors have had loads of huge advantages in the past. Killers have had just as much. Moris on 1st hook. OmegaBlink Nurse. Spirit being broken for her entire release. Hell even the Huntress and huge hitboxes for a long time. Boons are an amazing healthy change compared to things they have done in the past, and they even made boons take longer to place on hexes. If you don't capitalize on all the time wasted by boons, that is quite literally on you. The saying of "Get Good" exists for a reason

But since Boons I have gone from doing ok, to getting smashed those same survivors who can nowheal super quick and can hide their auras and scratchmarks.
Again, if the only way you track survivors is by scratchmarks, it is on you. If you can't pressure gens and get rid of boons with the natural flow of the match, it is on you. I don't know how else to really say this lol. This same thing happens in like every game. New thing gets added, people don't know how to face it, call it op, they get better and learn how to deal with it, it isn't op, new thing gets added etc. Like do you not ever see losses as possibly your fault? Sometimes it is healthy to see that it wasn't dirty SWF or genrushers and that you just didn't play the best and can improve because again, it is a pvp game.
-
BTW your job as the killer is to kill the survivors and stop them from doing gens, if they are doing so many gens then it is your job to pressure.

So the game should only be for highly skilled killers right, and those getting destroyed by boon groups (who were doing ok before boons) we don't care about? How very elitist of you.
Your point does though prove that they have hugely swung the game in the survivors favour.
No they haven't swung the game in the survivors favour lmao it is the fact that it is a pvp game and it is ridiculous people think that the game should never involve improving and getting better. If you were doing ok before boons, honestly you should still be doing ok, I don't know how you guys are getting abused by them when they have very defined value for survivors and killers

I don't complain about winning or losing. My only issue about boons is COH. For almost no effort or 14 sec u give almost infinite value for your teammates. And u need only 2 people run it to abuse it's power. It doesn't matter if killer snuffs one of them or kills COH user. U pick 4 toolboxes, pick COH and show middle finger to killer.
For me it's too strong and i see people who defends it as those who never abused it.
Oh so if you are in a full 4 man swf, bring all toolboxes, and bring multiple CoH then it is bad? That isn't the boon's fault, that is the power of SWF, and even then, medkits are the items that get extra value with CoH, you don't need CoH if you bring toolboxes and gen rush, you can already do that and still just bring DS UB DH BT.

I really noticed something the last update and the killer release before. It's...Forgetable
What do I mean by that? I mean it's like they didn't even happen. Yeah we got many nice changes like spirit nerf and key/hatch changes but...these changes are almost not noticeable because of the Meta.
Nothing changed. Survivors still run the same 6-8 perks every match after a certain Rank/Time played.
Killers run there 6-8 perks over and over again too. The last time I saw a huntress, Billy, Demo, Ghostface wasWeeks ago.
The only killers I seeover and over again are Hag, blight, nurse, spirit and since the Archiv started trickster.
I know the game is a bit older but slowly the hype and fun out of new updates dissaper. Something has to change... Weaker perks have to be buffed while stronger ones nerfed when there too overused.
The meta hasnt been changed for a lot of years, welcome to the game. It hasn't killed the game yet and I don't see how it will. The meta in most games stay about the same. In dbd you can definitely use other stuff, if you are playing only the best stuff then that is on you. Be the change you want to see, there is loads of viable stuff to use.

I am a new DBD player, have about 30 hours in so far. I bought Halloween DLC at same time I bought DBD, and have been maining Michael Myers.
It almost turned me off to DBD entirely, and I was about to quit. Being a Myers Killer is horrendous, it's underpowered, it sucks really bad. The devs are turning new players AWAY from this game while Myers is in this state.
The Halloween franchise has a NEW movie out, "Halloween Kills" released October 15, 2021. The 2018 sequel of Halloween made a lot of money. Michael Myers is (almost) as iconic as Jason Vorhees. You are going to have players (like me), who will come to DBD to play as Michael Myers.
And then you will turn them off to the game because he is so underpowered and weak and horrendeous.
Personally, I was about to quit DBD. Read my profile for my post on it a few days ago. But, today, I was reading the forums, and people were complaining about Hillbilly. So I decided, for my first ever time, to play a Killer game as someone other than Michael Myers. I played Hillbilly, as a level 1, with only 1 perk, and 0 add-ons. For the perk, I chose Tinkerer, which ######### ITS SO STRONG. You mean to tell me, you notify me when a generator has been repaired to 70% !?!?!??? WHAT. That's amazing!!!! Compare that to Dying Light or Myers' other Obsession GARBAGE perks!!!! And Lightborn is another one of Hillbilly perks, immune to flashlight spam??! I even complained about being flashlight spammed in my thread a few days ago. How the hell are these Hillbilly's perks so good, but Michael Myers has straight up TRASH perks all themed around "Obsession" crap that doesn't even trigger until you do stuff, and it's not even that good anyway. One of them even gives the Obsession a 33% faster time to do healing and stuff. #########. Another one makes you waste time chasing your Obsession, and INTENTIONALLY letting them get away just for a Coin, wasting precious time and being counter-intuitive..... and then you lose the coin on your next basic attack LMFAO #########?
The entire "EVIL WITHIN" mechanic is counter-intuitive, because you have to stare at survivors, which are sometimes not aware you are there, but most of the time, they know, and they are running away. So you have to charge up EW while watching people run away. Counter-intuitive. You would think EW3 would be permanent at least? Nope, it has a time and runs out, forcing you to start all over.
Anyway, I selected Hillbilly, then I go into game, and I notice I have a secondary insta-down attack from the beginning?!? #########. So I have a basic attack AND a insta-down attack on demand. Meanwhile I was out here with Myers' stupid knife. Just me and my Knife, no abilities, no secondary attack, nothing. Oh, and to charge up Evil Within 3 to be insta-down, you have to stare at survivors as they run away from you, once again, shooting yourself in the foot allowing people to get away just to get a TEMPORARY insta-down. Then it runs out and you're back at square one. Meanwhile Hillbilly's chainsaw is ready to go for free from the start of game, on-demand. #########.
Anyway, I killed all 4 Survivors as Hillbilly, rank 1, only 1 perk, 0 add-ons. ZERO GENS REPAIRED. ZERO. If ever I got notified one was at 70%, I ran over there and damaged it and chased the survivors away and didn't need to hit them twice, as I could just activate my chainsaw for an insta-down.
Can you imagine what I could do, if I combine Tinkerer with the Clown's insta-damage progress on generator by 25%? Oh, you got this gen to 70% Here, let me fix that. Boom, down to 45% again, and degenerating by the second. And then other perks??!?
What the F. Michael Myers is not "low tier". Michael Myers is TRASH TIER, HE IS "DO NOT PLAY STATUS"
DEACTIVATE MICHAEL MYERS AND BEGIN AN EMERGENCY REWORK.
The most famous Killer on your game is in an embarrassing situation right now and will turn off new players who come to play him.
New player starts game, expects to be the best, that isn't how pvp games work, declares a playable character to be deactivated. This and more at 6 p.m.

I can't build space ship and launch it to the moon cause survivors place boon totems. Do u want to discuss it? Cause i never mentioned my winrate.
The only people I see complaining about Boons are people who struggle with the game as is. If a full team has boons, that is so much time saved for me as the killer. Hell I've already seen solo queue people complaining about boon teammates lmao. The more you can place them, the more time wasted for the survivors meaning the killer can pressure. It isn't rocket science, it is basic math. I don't care what your winrate is, it isn't hard to have a good winrate if I just bring NOED alone, or camp and hard tunnel, but I do care about your actual skill as killer, and just to be honest if you are struggling hard with boons, it is because you have stuff to learn and improve.

It is. It takes 30 sec to heal yourself and any teammate nearby faster than with Self-care which takes 32 sec. And one time use only challenges u to think before using it. Currently survivors are like braindead. They spam boons all over map just to spam.
If they are spamming boons all over the map, that is a lot of time wasted not on gens, if you are losing those matches that is literally a fault of your own and not the boons.

Destroying the totem would be a better way to go.
It really wouldn't though. It is already a time sink for the survivor to do. Hexes are one time use because they provide map wide, strong effects the killer doesn't have to activate or go set up. Boons require the survivor to leave their objective to go set up the boon. They are not the same. Making them one time use would just gut the perk.

@R2k said:
Boons needs to be one time use only. That's only change i want.
This is constantly suggested but this would just gut them really. It isn't worth the time sink if it gets destroyed in a second.

I understand why this makes it unlikely for a developer to want to touch the franchise, but this is terrible logic.
If we discarded everything amazing that was invented by problematic people, we wouldn't have rockets, electricity or cars.
Did you just compare electricity and cars to a still living and breathing pedophile?

They double back on what they said multiple of time. Its not a question of believing them or not but im not dumb enough to blindly believe them i prefer to doubt what they say keep every scenario as a possibility specially for perk.
Especially* and that is fine but you can't act like you just theorizing when they stated otherwise is a fact and a point in an argument.

Trouble is the licence is not for the film, so you will not get characters from the film
I am aware, that is why I pointed out COD. Their license is from Scream AND funworld. They have the mask, but the skin is also ghostface from the movie. If DBD just got the license from the movie it would be just that.

They said a lot of thing and they dont always do what they say so its kinda hard to believe that.
Well if they gave an answer and you choose not to believe it then don't use that as a factual statement.
