I think each killer has various RNG for the addons they use.
-
I've noticed the quality of the bloodweb changes and sometimes cost more. I typically get 1-3 Very rare addons and 1 ultra rare addons every bloodweb.

I see more ebony mori's then ivory's in my bloodweb
This is due to the rarity issue. I've noticed I get roughly 1 ultra rare every blood web on my Spirit so i end up commonly getting either mother daughter ring or ebony mori. Where both Ivory and Cypress have to deal with being rare and uncommon.
Small sample size

Interesting thing I heard the other day. Whoever is the host of the SWF lobby is the one whose rank gets matchmaking. I played with my Rank 18 friend all day yesterday and kept getting Rank 19 and 20 killers. It also helps if you SWF with multiple low rank friends and you're the only high rank survivor. You'll literally only see baby killers, and just don't be a toxic ######### to the new killers and just try to help your friends learn the game.
Odd when I pair with friends we usually get someone more Middle grounds, but I have noticed something similar to what u mention so I feel there is validity in it.

Since devs never talk about second objectives and I personally lost hope on that (cuz devs are just so focused on adding new DLCs noone needs atm or just simply can't because idk) I thought about adding ruin into basekit to counter genrush but with rules and requirements:
- Ruin can't be destroyed
- Ruin will deactivate after 3 hooks or/and 3 gens popping
- The effect of ruin is depended on killer tier and survivor rank (Nurse for example will have a weaker version of ruin than wraith, rank 1 survivors will have to deal with a stronger version of ruin than rank 15 survivors, maybe rank 16-20 has no ruin)
Thoughts?
Learn to prioritize time management splitting it between gens, chases, map awareness. We dont need to make the game annoying.
-
That really hurts. I've been in that position and it does not feel good playing people who are clearly above your skill set.
-
Biggest issue if you SWF with him at the start. It automatically places him against higher ranked killers then he is ready for. Normally you play against or close to a rank above your first few games.

Moris have only been made to eradicate Blendettes.
Save them. You'll use them on the proper time.
I like to use Moris for people who dont ready up.

Yep super rare.

Ruins biggest issue is being instantly found. Otherwise it's high risk high reward.

I think it should keep counting when you are in the ‘dying’ state but that’s just my opinion. I want to hear yours.
As someone who enjoys the Pig and plays her frequently. No just NO. Worst idea ever. If anything the few buffs she needs are these in order of my personal opinion.
1 Addon's Rework. *Remember someone saying a Dev had mentioned this was on a list of things to do*
2 Roar at the end of the Dash Attack.
3 Increased Crouch Speed Equal to or near Ghostface.
4 Reduced Terror Radius back to what it was.
-
Bad perks in general though Save the Best for Last is underrated, but definitely one of the best addons suite in the game making Myers incredibly unique to play against. I do well playing him sadly I actually dislike playing against Myers. I'm not a big fan of instadowns. At least he earns it though.

I'm good enough, thanks. I played this game over 2k hours, both sides equally. I personally never complain against Nurse even tho she's much stronger than spirit. And you know why? Because even when Nurse ignores a lot of standard defense mechanics of survivors, she is still fair and you can still beat her in 1v1 situations. So what's your point?
Spirit on the other hand is a complete bs show and luck based. And against a decent spirit it absolutely unfun to go against. Ah, and in the case you don't have iron will it's gg anyway. Don't even try to "juke" and outplay a decent spirit. It's to ez to catch a survivor in such a situation and I know that because I dont have any difficulties when I play spirit.
Yet I still find her better to play against then Plague, Billy, and Myers. You said both sides equally, but your complaints are all survivor sided. 2k hours cool big number want a cookie to go with that? Fresh out Chocolate Chip though so you get Oatmeal Raisin.
Jokes aside Spirit is a extremely viable killer unfortunately that is underused because despite the "headphone and semi decent tracking ability arguments" people love to spout out when they get outplayed by a Spirit she is criminally underused. That is half the arguments at fault. How can someone learn to play properly if they rarely play against her?
Nurse and Billy are easier to play against simply due to the fact you see them so often and you have developed and started to perfect counter measures against these killers.

Yeah, let's keep track on a killer who is invisible when Phasing... OR faking, so obvious.
There's a bug that let's her shimmer when shes phasing. You can hear her foot steps loudly in phase. Several perks give you fair warning.
All I keep hearing is nerf killer nerf survivor nerf this nerf that, but have yet to hear anyone offer a solution or ask about getting better instead. Stop asking for nerfs and actually play the game and get better at it.
-
I dont mind Spirit with Prayer beads. It's more annoying yes because it creates a different style of the game, but it keeps her style of ay unique. If anything I would rather have this move to ultra rare and father's glasses moved to uncommon.
-
I actually dont mind Iridescent Head Huntress with the belt. Unlike most killers at least it requires some level of skill to hit a Survivor. Clown and Huntress seem to have the more fair instadowns imho. Plus honestly I rarely see these addons. Normally people that are using these got bullied hard last game or have a daily. There's always exceptions though.
No matter what though it always feels bad when you get hit.

She’s a really good starting character. I think think Meg is the best for new players. You can easily gain distance from the killer with Sprint Burst, can be stealthy with Quick and Quiet, and have an insta-heal at the end of the game with Adrenaline. When I first picked Meg when I was new, I had no idea what Adrenaline did but I still equipped it because it was all I had...saved me many times.
Only thing I don’t like about Feng and Meg is that they are two of the loudest survivors. They breathe very loud and have loud injured moans.
There's a guy who listed Survivor's for sound to get the ones who makes noise and compaired to one another. He also does Survivors who to start with based on teachables. I know he said Feng simply because she has a exhaustion, useful info ability, and technician helps with failing skill checks.

@Rydog said:
A better way of contextualizing this perk is that it teaches bad habits.
A lot of new players are told to start with Claudette because of this perk, and they learn to rely on it way more heavily than they should, because it's a useful second chance perk when you're just learning the game.
It's not until later that it really sinks in that Self Care is slow, inefficient, and usually a poor tactical decision. Then they have to unlearn the bad habit.
Medkits, Pharmacy, and especially Bond are way better healing tools when you know what you're doing. And, being injured isn't always a death sentence once you've gained some experience.
So yeah, I blame this perk's popularity on bad advice, which I am guilty of giving too.
I started with Feng Min. Didnt realize till later on how good she was as a starting character.

They'll still work against non stealth killers. The whole reason for this change was because Stealth Killers were just too easily detected thanks to perks like this, more specifically Object of Obsession.

It's fine; any people we lose to tunneling are outweighed by the Stranger Things fans we are getting. :P
Doubtful honestly. Even they will have to deal with this. I'm just hoping that it will be a week or 2 after rank reset so they will stay for awhile.

This is simply my opinion and if you get butthurt over it something must be ticking.
I've went through my Perks checking and seeing what other builds I could do since my usual build (Stake Out, Small Game, Self-care, and Urban Evasion) and the thing I noticed is there are tons of useless perks that you wouldn't use in your average build. Can we do a rework with them or at least buff them?
Useless Perks:
Deja Vu/Mettle of Man/Object of Obession/Premonition/Sole Survivor/Diversion/Slippery Meat/Wake up/Autodidact/Left Behind/ Buckle Up/Virgil/Alert.
Semi-Useless Perks:
Decisive Strike(counter easily by simply not picking you up)/Deliverance(circumstancial situtations)/Technician/Lightweight/Open-handed/Boil Over/Flip-Flop.
Like I said its an OPINION, leave your OPINION and let me know what you guys think?
No-Biased ZoneFunny enough a lot of those perks are quite good perks. I would suggest you play with perks before you call them useless. Of all the perks you have listed I see 2 that actually need a rework and they can be useful too. The rest all go into builds that are more fun then meta builds, but meta builds are meta builds for a reason. Some of the perks listed are actually incredibly useful for newer players. Not all perks can have the same powerful effects like Adrenaline.
-
The new DS is actually really good, but bad teammates are bad teammates. It's not a free perk like it used to be your not likely going to use it every game anymore. It does not need a buff. It's fine as is and I do think it's in a better spot.

And why, exactly, should I care how much fun YOU have? Trust me, it's not losing players, that's absurd. The game has done nothing but grow. It's not my job to ensure fun. That's not a valid, in game reason. Any other arguments?
That is a valid point. If you can't tell the difference between multiplayer and singleplayer then you are just no better then the toxic people who complain. It would grow faster if people with your mentality would understand on the otherside is another person. Then again judging from your few post I have seen your probably not very skilled as killer.

Prove that it isn't a valid strategy for eliminating one Survivor from the game, to create immediate pressure.
It's a valid strategy, but it's insanely unfun and unfair to the survivors you do this too. Just remember your not the only person in the match. If said person is tunneled and camped continuously why would they continue to play this game? So while a valid strategy it comes at the risk of losing a fellow player.

Be prepared/expect changes to happen to the powers and abilities of the Killer AND the perks of the Survivors.
We have seen this happen with Freddy and the Ash DLC.
I will personally wait about 2 weeks before investing anymore interest into these DLC’s. So please just a fair warning if you plan on making a post about changes to the DLC later on.
You forgot the 2 years it took too nerf DS and how long the timeframes for the Freddy rework was. The only perk which was honestly nerfed quickly needed the nerf. Legion was nerfed because of exploits and how unfun he was. Though I feel they took it too far.

There are no Clown mains, he is just too weak.
My friends a clown main and she does ok.
The problem with people who specifically main a certain killer is the fact they know the limits to that specific killer better then someone who just uses them occasionally. The logic they use is not of our own. I dont mean the people who play 3 or 4 different killers and main them all. I mean the ones who specifically play that one over and over until they could 4k perkless and addonless.
Either way that build has too many inconsistencies to be good.

They're just trying to rub it in that you didn't get all 4 kills. I would try not to take it personally and just move on. If it is a regular issue, just close post-game chat and don't re-open it. All they want to do is provoke a reaction and by responding or making a thread, you're giving them that reaction. It's best to ignore it and move on.
Even if you get all 4 kills or no kills at all people will act rude and entitled. It's an unfortunate part of competitive games.
I always say GGWP as the killer. If they proceed to be toxic I say "Nice Dying. You Did Great. GG." For some reason this triggers them.

Killers always get punished for bad survivors. Dont bother man.

Just curious is this a Platform specific bug for Hillbilly or is it across all platform? Can you give me a bit more detail of the bug, the steps to replicate it if possible, and how often this occurs?
Generally speaking I think it comes down to inexperience. I personally don't have a problem with Billy. Spirit on the other hand... That cut up dismembered haunting witch is far from fair at base, However, just tolerable enough to not be considered Nurse level. (PERKS ARE NOT A COUNTER)
I think the biggest issue with top tier killers is the frequency of which they appear. I've had matches where I play against Billy almost non stop for a hr. He's the most used top tier killer due to his easy to learn skill set and low skill cealing. Spirit, Nurse, Hag, Huntress all are harder to learn and have vastly higher skill cealings. This dont make Billy bad at the slightest it just makes him the easiest of the bunch.
-
You should be able to safety between looping for 5 gens getting a Iridescent light bringer and usually gold evader.
-
If this was added at base to thrill it woumd be hilariously amusing with all totem builds.
-
Spirit, Huntress, Hag, and Pig.
Everyone of those killers I really enjoy playing. Recently fell in love with Pig and am having a blast pushing her to the limits.
-
Pigs more middle of the pack. She balanced quite well, but needs a few tweaks to her power due to random patches and the creation of EGC. Also her Addons need some serious love.
Top 5 I'll a avoid discussion on. Its beating a dead horse. We need to leave the chapel horse alone he is is danger of dying now D:
Nurse
Spirit
Billy
Huntress
Hag
Freddy/Nightmare tied with Ghostface:
These two I cant explain quite yet. I will say I think both are really really low upper tier or high mid tier. They have everything killers need. GF makes up for his lack of map pressure by being a stealth killer who can continually reapply exposed.
Amanda/Pig: Talk about mindgames we come to Pig. She's really fun and good at certain loops and titles. Her RBT applies a bad ruin and decent map pressure. Her Ambush dash is amazing learn it and you wont regret it. She teaches you simple mechanics really well.
Myers/Shape: amazing mindgame potential. Sadly other then his instadown I dont really like him. Monitor and Abuse paired with Infectious Fright is amazing in Myers. Just because evil within 3 is global does not apply map pressure.
Plague: personal opinion is I hate this killer from both sides. She has great potential, but is average overall. She has very few perks that work well with her since her power actually does not need them. I use Thantophoia and Brutal Strength on her instead of the Enduring Spirit Combo. Corrupted Purge is vital dont waste it.
Legion: Not Nearly as bad as people claim. He is now more skill oriented and fun to play. Has both map pressure and the ability to force people to do non gen stuff.
Trapper: With proper trap placement and a good build Trapper in the right hands can be a monster. Truely do thing his potential is good.
Clown: No pressure map wide. Amazing at ending chases. Has a ton of bugs that should be addressed.
Doctor: Anti loop potential and can tricks he can pull. Sadly if his pallets were like Freddys where you can pull them down he would drastically be better. His biggest issues seem to be he's pretty gimmicky overall with a few tweaks or a switch between treatment and punishment movement speeds he could get better.
Wraith: has lack of map pressure, but has some good chase mechanics and ability to travel quickly across the map. Also innate stealth helps.
Leatherface/Cannibal: biggest issues are his general lack of pressure in chases and map. The slowdown when he revs the chainsaw.

The changes to the blood web will only really be reflective for new players.
Right now the grind isn't terrible if you're a vet. Just as a new player, especially without BBQ. Even more so considering prestiging is completely optional; people act like it isn't an option and that simply isn't true.
Prestigeing is a waste of time imho
On the other hand I like to prestige the ones I use a lot. So far both my survivor and killer main are the only prestiged 3 anything everyone else is lvl 50 or close to it.
-
Iron Will, Quick and Quiet, Adrenaline, with last slot Alert, Balanced Landing, Deliverance, Diversion, Urban Evasion is really good.
-
Honestly instead of 2 survivors I would rather they start adding the occasional generic perks here and there. I really liked leveling my main survivor, but in reality I dont need too till a new survivor drops.
-
@Marcus said:
Shadowborn is at least better than Predator, Shadowborn is at least useful for Nurse and Huntress, Predator is worthless on literally anyone, even on Spirit.
Stridor counters Iron Will.
Monitor and Abuse is better than Overcharge, Overcharge is useless against any decent survivor.
Spirit Fury isn't Spirit's worst perk, it's probably her best perk actually ( especially for loopable killers ).
Another person who overrates Corrupt Intervention, Jesus. Infectious Fright is better.
Pretty much agree on all fronts. Though Corrupted Intervention isn't bad. It's just unlike ruin you need to build into it with a specific purpose most are not sure how to do this. It seems the perks are available, but getting them all on one killer who can use the information is another question all together

How are we even supposed to make friends on this game?
Or are we supposed to convince our current friends to download this??
Consoles have their own Partys and Voice Systems. What else do you want?
Im on a PS4 and haven't heard anyone talk yet...
So every game, I have to click on the players profile, add them then invite them to party chat just to play this game with voice chat? That seems like such a flaw to have on an online CO-OP game....I prefer it no annoying kids, no music blaring, no shouting people irritated you wont save them asap that I'll have to mute anyways. Only the peaceful sound of a Nurse shriek and the Billy chainsaw in my ears.

I've seen this list before on a YT channel. Only difference is. Huntress is one tier up and above Billy, Myers is after Pig one tier up. Doctor and Wraith are also up one tier. Leatherface is by his lonesome.

Survivors are skins once you have all the perks.
Killers will always be unique to each other.
Ya I kinda mentioned people have survivors with all perks. I quoted someone saying Skins. I just mentioned perks as well for the teachables. Keep up in class please.

I think ruin is a wasted slot and people have yet to figure out how to play against Survivors without it because they have been told repeatedly it is a necessary perk. I feel Ruin has handicapped killers by not letting then learn proper time management.

Anything that was in those subforums has been moved to general. Nothing was lost.

Does Pig count? Shes the only m1 killer I remotely find fun.
Typically I play most 110 killers simply because I find them more unique and fun.
