Wiggle progress actually does also regress while slugged, although at a very slow rate.
The actual regression speed could be bugged though, if the OP didn't exaggerate the regression.
My bad. Good to know, though. That'd explain one scenario where I got dropped at near wiggle out levels, got left on the floor for about 45 seconds, and then wasn't close enough to wiggling out when I thought I had it in the bag.
-
Situation #1 is correct (though I think it's 20%, not 25%?); situation 2 doesn't seem right. When a killer drops you, when they pick you up again, you should be where you were at previously +20%. If you've been picked up and then downed again, your wiggle counter is reset, but if you didn't change health states, it should have remained and it's weird that you lost your progress. To my understanding, wiggle only decays when you're being carried, and it doesn't decay that rapidly regardless.
For situation #1, the bonus progression is added before you drop the survivor, so if they were already at or above 80(?)%, they pop free as if they'd wiggled off; otherwise it drops them as normal but with the added progress. You can pick a survivor back up by yourself with no input from them at all by picking them up and dropping them 5-6 times.

I've gotten better at keeping track in my head, but I still err and accidentally kill the wrong players every once in a while. I'm one of the people that'd use feature this for good, but there's no question a lot of players would use it for evil, so I get why it doesn't exist.
Funnily enough, if I want to play super nice without worrying about accidentally sacrificing someone, I can always bring a mori. If the option to kill shows up, it means it's time to leave that survivor alone.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/262702/why-developers-support-toxic-gameplay
There’s no way to avoid toxic people. Psychologically killer players and survivor are very different. Survivors tend to be more Casual and team focused where as killers enjoy feeling powerful and ruining the game for everyone. So as far as avoiding toxicity, it’s nearly impossible to do.
I swear, any post involving anecdotes of killers being gracious, fair, or human beings as opposed to evil lizard people is literally invisible to you.
Power-tripping players exist on both sides. If you played killer at all, you would understand that a.) some killers are perfectly chill and b.) some survivors are horrific sweats whose goal in the game is to tilt the killer as much as possible. Assuming one side are casual innocents and one side is nasty and evil... really blatantly lacks perspective and is a profoundly unhealthy viewpoint besides. Earlier today you said that the purpose of the killer role is to ruin the game for survivors, but this game would look pretty damn boring without a killer - unless games with AFK killers are your favorites?
I personally enjoy playing killer more than survivor because I have the power to make the game fun for everyone. I can give good chases, spread out my hooks, and then chill out at the end, and reap the rewards of a happy team. I'll get ######### on occasionally by a strong team, or profoundly BMed by a nasty one, but if you're frustrated with the inability to control the flow of the match as survivor, you should really give killer a try. Be the change you want to see and all that. (And maybe, while you're at it, realize that playing killer by the survivor rulebook is not nearly as effortless as you preach it is.)
To the OP, I don't entirely agree on some issues raised - I don't really think camping, tunneling, and slugging are toxic by themselves, only in context (facecamping at 5 gens is scummy, tunneling at 2 gens left isn't), and I'm alright with the devs' stance that they're allowed, just not winning strategies on their own, and letting that be the discouragement. But I totally agree that they've exacerbated issues unnecessarily by creating incentives to do these things. Survivors needing to escape with the crowns is incredibly obnoxious on solo queue, doubly so when games are full of survivors that are just running around looking for crowns instead of doing gens. I'm finding myself way more frustrated playing survivor than usual because I typically didn't care about escaping, only playing well - and now everything hinges on escaping and I'm getting mad over games I wouldn't have cared about before. And tome challenges are full of challenges telling killers to slug for the 4k, or set up always-popular basement builds, or bring NOED and afk all game, and telling survivors to throw the match by performing an action with an obscure perk, or hiding next to the killer for a minute, or getting 4 unhooks in one game, or pointing at the killer while they're running towards you. There isn't enough time in a match for survivors to screw around, which rifts encourage, and players will happily throw each other under the bus if it means getting their rift challenge done.
(And then there's the Myers achievement, which tells the killer to go create the most boring game possible, for as many times as it takes until it works and nobody rage-DCs at the last second.)
I'm cool with giving bonus points to killers for not tunneling or camping... I assume that the check wants it so that survivors aren't hooked consecutively/the killer didn't trigger the 'proximity to hooked survivor' score event. But that's as far as I'll go. The problem with making it impossible to tunnel or camp, beyond the scenario where the killer has to do one of those things to salvage the game, is that skilled survivors will abuse it. You saw this with old DS; survivors that have protection will use it offensively and block the killer from going after other players.

Had a farming Deathslinger today. I'm not sure if he initially planned on farming or not, but a crown spawned across from the gen I was working on, so when the Deathslinger came, I pointed at it instead of running and hoped Caleb was down for that. He was.
Anyway, event farmers are sweet, but that's not what I'm posting about. One of the players was AFK. We had fun pointing at her and crouching around after her as the Deathslinger pulled her along on a leash, but otherwise there's not much you can do with an AFK player. I was kind of surprised he didn't kill her for the points, but figured he was giving her a chance to come back to the computer.
Not so. According to postgame chat, there were four cakes, and the Deathslinger hadn't brought one, so he knew the AFK player had used a cake and he was determined to get them out alive so they could at least collect a few bloodpoints out of the match. He brought her over to the gates and we had a back-and-forth where he'd drop her, we'd pick her up, he'd hit her again, until finally the forward motion from getting downed carried her out of the gates.
Gotta give a shoutout to that Deathslinger for being a wholesome soul. Thanks for the crown and the Adept Kate you handed me!
-
I am not remotely fun at parties. I just find a relatively secluded corner and pull out my cell phone.
Also, how dare you call Pig mains mediocre. They are the enduring memelords of DBD. Survivors crouch at their approach, for it heralds the Oinkening.
(Kinda hard to call Twins mains mediocre when there's like 5 of them in existence...)
-
Most of the images seem to come from past events or killer/outfit releases, so probably not.
-
I'm not the kind of person who sees a random person who has done nothing to deserve my ire and goes "I'm gonna ruin their day", no.
-
Well, that's fantastic. Can't have anything fun or skilled, I guess.
Though I had been having issues shooting through those gaps on all shacks on reworked maps as Plague, and was under the impression they were adding invisible walls on every map they passed over.

You said if you knew if being the key word. I'm well aware you can't know. It's the mentality I disagreed with. You say it was a joke? Fair enough. Doesn't change why I'm not going to burn a single cake.
I kind of despise this mentality? You're more interested in punishing a potential bad opponent than rewarding your 3 teammates, or yourself, or a farming killer that might come along. It's pure spite and it's actively detrimental to yourself to go 'I'm not going to bring an item that benefits me if it also benefits another player.'
Anyway. Killers generally have plenty of cake to spare. Survivors don't because they have three other items they'll find in place of a cake. I'd bring a cake every game if I could.
-
Agreed. Killers get 4x more cakes than survivors do - when survivors already get less bloodpoints on average, and have more of a use for offerings that give everybody in the trial bonus bloodpoints. There should be a guaranteed cake in every bloodweb, period.
It's ending up with a negative synergy with the crowns, too. For killer, I can do a few bloodwebs, get 5-10 cakes, play one match, and get the crown. For survivors, I can fill out 10 webs and get 1-2 cakes, and then I need to play 5-10 matches to get a crown. I don't have enough cake to cover this.
-
Yeah, it's pretty stupid that survivors have to escape where killers just need to find it and pick it up. You have to play way more survivor matches to get crowns than you do killer, and it opens up avenues for griefing.
-
One of the (comparatively minor) issues with SWFs is that they form an echo chamber. Like, you'll have one person complain the killer is camping because the killer went over to kick a gen and then came back to move across the map in the other direction, and now the entire team is tbagging and hurling abuse in the endgame chat. One person forms an opinion in the heat of the moment and three other people reinforce it.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/262420/borrowed-time-dont-be-that-guy
There’s no reason to tunnel anyone. As killer you’re faster, you have lunge, many have range attacks, Noed, bbq, Tinkerer, etc. All of those trump anything a survivor could bring or do. Sorry, I know that’s not popular opinion on here, but it is the facts.
Sooo... let me get this straight.
The killer is trying not to tunnel. They are going after the unhooker, not the player who got off the hook. They are ignoring the player who got off the hook, either because they are concerned about DS/BT, because they have a perk that incentivizes going after the other player, or maybe because they just prefer to play fair and are giving the unhooked player a chance to get away.
The player who got off the hook intersperses themselves between the killer and their target, forcing the killer to hit them if they want to hit anyone.
The killer either hits them and goes after them because the unhooker got away, or waits 12 seconds because basic brain activity and downs the bodyblocker. Either way, the bodyblocker goes back on the hook.
The player who got in the way now accuses the killer of tunneling.
So. It's not okay to go after the player who's preventing the killer from going after anyone else? Because that's the scenario in the OP that you've chosen to pitch in on. Look, you hardly have diplomatic immunity if you run in front of the killer and beg for them to hit you. There's nothing wrong with bodyblocking with Borrowed Time, it's a very powerful tactic, but you've gotta be prepared for the killer to commit to the bait.
-
I've been having some nice games today, going backwards through the roster of killers. A few killers that I'm really bad at, I just went straight to farming and brought weird hex builds for survivors to dismantle (also Iron Maiden for the sole reason that survivors seem to find it hilarious - when they realize it's there, a chorus of yells echoes across the map like a bizarre game of Marco Polo.) Others, I played normally and then left survivors on the ground if I downed them on death hook, plus I tried to switch targets and not keep downing the same people if I could avoid it. Been getting a lot of nods and item gifts at the gates, which feels good. I hope I helped someone who was having a rough time get a crown.
Another thing I've been considering is to offer to farm if there's 4-5 cakes, and if there's less, play normally and turn friendly at the end?
-
@ThiccBudhha said:
I don't even know what farming is on the killer end.
Farming is when both teams are cooperating with each other for points. The survivors crowd around a hook and let the killer hook everyone twice, the killer walks under pallets so survivors can stun them, the survivors tap gens while the killer repeatedly kicks them.
-
I've just been playing as normal except I don't kill anyone and just knock people over when they're already on death hook. If players indicate they want to meme or farm, I'll play along. Best of both worlds - everyone gets tons of bloodpoints and escapes with crowns, but nobody's unhappy that they didn't queue into a 'real' match.
As survivor, outright farming is nice every once in a while but boring when it's every game. That said, I've played maybe a dozen survivor matches today and I could have used some farmers. Had a couple of games that were very frustrating and I never got a chance to do anything, which really sucks when there's a 400% bloodpoint bonus.

"The amount of time it takes to mend is also a much more significant fraction of the mend timer than the amount of time it takes to search a box is for the reverse bear trap timer."
Massive lie?
You need to go to the box and then complete the skill checks and see if it comes off, hoping nobody has popped a gen. Why should The Pig be guaranteed a kill? It's a great time wasting tool but her add ons make it ridiculous.
I'm talking about the action timer itself, not the entire search. Also, yes. Mend timer is 20s and mending itself takes, what, 10s? That's half of the bar, meaning that if you bled out half of the timer and then started to mend, if it didn't freeze, you wouldn't be able to save yourself and you'd be downed no matter what. The RBT timer is default 150 seconds. Searching a box takes about a tenth of that? Most of the time is spent running from box to box.
Pig is anything but guaranteed kills. Have you ever played her? She's one of the least reliable killers in the game. If you don't distress survivors yourself, and you don't have a magical confluence of factors including map size and relative distance, lethality addons, and the survivor's trap being in the last box they'll search (because without pressuring the survivor, all three of these need to happen in order to get a trap kill), the only way you will ever get a head pop is if the survivor is stupid and doesn't know what the red symbol around their icon means. There is more than enough time for a survivor to run to and search all four boxes. The Pig has to apply pressure to get a kill, and that's a massive waste of her time unless she finds a survivor that has already been unlucky and prevents them from finishing the final leg of their search.
I'm not going to deny Crate of Gears, Jigsaw's Sketch, and Tampered Timer could use a look at, particularly how they stack with each other, but you seem under the impression that Pig is much more dangerous than she is. These addons do not guarantee trap kills on their own. If you get an outdoor map that isn't I-shaped? If survivors don't get massively unlucky and they find their key within the first 3 boxes? You won't be getting random headpops as Pig. The lethality addons don't guarantee kills, they enable kills, which will not happen on their own unless survivors horribly mismanage their time.
-
Thanks for the announcement?
Also, eesh. Tbagging and clicking is disrespectful because there's no purpose to the action but to taunt. Bodyblocking with BT is frustrating, but it's the survivors attempting to protect each other and increase survivability. That isn't toxic, it's strategy. You can't be any angrier at that than you can a killer camping a hook because there's survivors nearby.

Pig is an extremely boring and unfair killer for new people playing the game. Most of the time people get their first trap and are then tunnelled out of the game. She should be limited to force you to go to three boxes max.
Yeah, so anyone doing that is generally playing Pig wrong and will lose the same way a facecamping killer loses. Hard tunneling a trapped player off the hook is a waste of a trap and wastes so much time that other players are very free to do gens. Trying to force a head pop is best done with lethality addons and waiting for the survivor to have already unsuccessfully searched a few boxes, then swooping in when they're already very pressured for time. Otherwise, Pig is far more effective when she ignores the trapped players unless they give her a free hit. Her traps are a slowdown feature and generally can't kill players unless she puts in the legwork or players mismanage their time.
Anyway. It'd become virtually impossible for Pig to kill anyone with her traps if this was the case; her timer would need to be significantly reduced as compensation for all the time survivors would not spend while on boxes. The reason the mend timer is paused while mending is because mending, when it was implemented, was a massive mess. The killer that inflicted it could force downs with it by tapping someone once and then chasing them backwards; the mend timer would go down and the survivor couldn't stop and mend or they'd get hit (which took far less time than Pig waiting out a RBT.) Mending needed to be adjusted in all kinds of ways until it reached a state that couldn't possibly be abused.
The amount of time it takes to mend is also a much more significant fraction of the mend timer than the amount of time it takes to search a box is for the reverse bear trap timer.

pot meet kettle. This entire forum is a killer main support group. Who are you kidding?
Everyone looks like an extremist when you're perched on the other extreme. You think everyone on this forum is a killer main because anyone who acknowledges there are problems on both sides or doesn't think survivors need massive buffs counts as a killer main in your eyes.
-
I really like fancy clothing and ornamentation - one of the reasons Plague is a favorite, and Wraith's Phantom of the Opera set is fantastic. I also like natural-looking growths; bone, claws, et cetera. Also long flowy hair without headbands or other head accessories.
-
Seems to me like it'd be an easy solution to make a flat requirement for both sides: if you find the crown and score over 10k points, you keep it.
-Killers will basically always get 10k points unless they play horrendously, like one hook all game bad.
-Survivors don't have to escape, just have to perform moderately well in the match - which means doing nothing but running around the map looking for the crown, getting it, and suiciding won't net you the crown and you have to actually play the game.
So far, I have four crowns unlocked on survivors and four crowns unlocked on killers. The killer crowns took me an hour and the survivor crowns took me four. Two of those games, I was forced to puss out and leave some teammates behind to die on hook because I was just so sick of getting tunneled out or killed at the last minute and just wanted to seize whatever opportunity I could. Another one, a killer gave me a pity gate. It's not a good time trying to escape in solo queue right now when half of your teammates are busy looking for crowns instead of doing gens.
-
Save The Best For Last is always a good generic perk for an M1 killer and I run it pretty religiously on Wraith. Can't really be helped that it makes you want to avoid the obsession, but Wraith's high mobility means you can pick your targets, and even if you don't manage your stacks, you'll still accumulate faster hit speed throughout the match (it's basically +6 from everyone else and -4 from the obsession if you split chases evenly). Plus Wraith loves hit and runs so he can gain even more stacks by just whacking players that are out of position and then leaving them alone unless they didn't make it anywhere with their speed boost.
Sloppy is a good basic perk on Wraith to complement the hit and run playstyle, but I'd take Pop or Ruin for the last slot - slowdown's always needed.
(And hell yeah, Devour Hope is insanely fun on Wraith. He's easily one of its best users.)

I thankfully managed to get the Myers one back in 2019, of the ones I have left to complete that are not just time consuming are the one where you need to use a key to have your whole team escape via hatch, the new map achievement for RPD, Power Moves, and a lot of the ones that require using the killer power like sending people to cages of Atonement or catching survivors in bear traps.
Maybe do Power Moves next? It's annoying but not especially challenging - and it's kind of interesting to see how you play without your perks, and how much the lack of your usual kit affects or doesn't affect you. Plus there's nothing stopping you from bringing a medkit.
Good luck on the hatch escape one; you need a SWF or an alignment of stars to pull that one off! It's so hard to get it with randoms because even if everything else falls into place, even if you show them the key and gesture them over to the hatch, they'll usually just go to the exit gate and leave through there.
-
Dang, congratulations and well done!
I currently have adepts for everyone I own, but I'm missing a lot of players. I never would have gotten Nurse even with Plaid Flannel guiding the way - I snuck it in during the MMR test, when matchmaking was happy to give me players that... matched my ability with Nurse.
I'm not looking forward to Deathslinger or Trickster, because I can't aim for beans. I had surprising trouble with Ghostface because matches just blitzed by too quickly no matter how well I was performing, while Nemesis was surprisingly easy and I got it on my first try. Other notables... I got Plague back when I was a brown rank up against equally brown ranked opponents, and I'm really glad about that. Somehow I got Myers on Fractured Cowshed with a 12-hook game.
What achievements do you have left? There aren't that many challenging ones after that beyond the T3 Myers one; most of the remainder are just time-consuming.

No way that we can get matches with killer.
I had no problem getting killer games earlier but encountered the issue shortly after I switched to playing survivor. I think the problem is universal and just started/just rapidly increased in frequency within the past hour.
-
Yep. Had to force restart the game four times now. Haven't been able to successfully enter a match the last three times I queued; I ended up in the shadow realm each time after about 5 minutes. Can't tell what triggers it, but when the option switches from 'cancel' to 'unready', there is nothing else you can do but bring up Task Manager and force close the game.
I managed to play some games earlier, but now I'm losing hope.
-
She's a survivor. You're the killer. If there was ever a time to answer your calling, it's now.
-
Survivor queues seem glitchy right now. Lots of 'couldn't find a party' boots, and sometimes it seems like I end up in a ghost queue for survivor - it says I'm searching for a match, but it never finds one, I have no ability to unready, and I can't even back out into the main menu. Had to force restart the game twice now.
-
I wonder if the server load is why DBD's performing so badly right now? All of the connection errors and random boots might be a traffic error.
-
@Spy said:
You wanna know why? Because if they made it that it was unlocked upon getting it, survivor would simply dc and have the crown without having to do anything and would just ruin countless games
Killers could theoretically do the same thing. They don't, not in any noticeable quantities.
-
I'm making a point of not killing anyone just because the whole escape requirement is so annoying. It's not fair that killers just have to find the crown, but survivors need to find it and then make it out alive. Turns it from a one-game thing to a five or ten game thing in solo queue.
-
I always thought that Deathgarden Meg mask looked like a fifth member of the Legion...
-
Yeah, I just finished a match as Plague with the gold sparklies and didn't get the crown. Doubt either of the two survivors I let leave got it either, with everything I've heard.
-
To balance out enabling the RPD map again, they've made it impossible to play matches. Yay...

what does these mean ? Are they killers ?NOED/Devour/T3 Myers/a facecamping Bubba! Also why leave your item for killer if they can’t use it? The pig boop is funny tho I’m going to try that haha
Ah, shouldn't have used DBD terminology. :P
NOED: No One Escapes Death. It's a perk, especially common on newer killers; once all 5 generators are powered, unless all 5 totems were cleansed during the match (they pretty much never will be), one of them becomes a hex totem and the killer gains 3% movement speed and the ability to one-hit down everyone until the hex is cleansed. Very dangerous; you have to either find the totem or leave immediately.
Devour: Devour Hope. Another hex perk. Basically, every time you unhook a player and the killer is far enough away, they gain a stack of this perk. At 3 stacks, the killer gains the ability to one-hit everyone. At 5 stacks, they can instantly kill survivors, which is really, really bad. Unlike NOED, this perk is active throughout the match. If you ever get the notification for Devour Hope (it will come when the killer gets 3 stacks), you should stop working on generators and look for hex totems; if you let it get to 5 stacks, it's pretty much game over.
Myers is one of the killers: Michael Myers, or the Shape. His power has 3 tiers. In tier 3, the highest tier, he can one-hit survivors. He has an addon that can make this tier last forever, and other addons that allow him to instantly kill players while in T3, though these addons are rare to face. You can tell if he has one by looking at his hand that isn't holding the knife in T3; if it's closed in a fist, you're safe, and if it's open, he has the addon.
Bubba is one of the killers, Leatherface or the Cannibal. Bubba has a chainsaw that he can use to one-hit multiple survivors at once if they're close together. If he's sitting near the hook (camping), it's basically impossible to rescue a player from the hook, because he will just chainsaw both of you the second that the hooked player is freed.
The common theme in all of these is one-hits. Going out to rescue survivors requires you and your teammates to be able to take an extra hit, and usually shuffle your position around so that a healthy player can bodyblock (get between and use their collision hitbox) the killer from attacking the injured ones. If there's an instadown effect in play, this doesn't work and most rescue attempts are going to end with the hooked player freed but one of the rescuers taking their place. There's no shame in just leaving if a rescue isn't feasible.
Anyway, dropping the item is just a gesture. The killer can't use it, and it means you can't take it into the next match, but you're basically giving them a gift and it's the thought that counts. You can also do this as a last-ditch 'please give me mercy' thing; if you're about to die, you can drop your item and crouch and hope the killer is feeling nice.
You can nod by bobbing your camera up and down. Shaking your head is the same thing, you just have to move the camera from side to side. Clicking requires you to have a flashlight, which is one of the items you can carry. Dropping an item is R for me, but I only know PC controls.

What does BM and sandbag mean ? And what’s tunnelled
BM stands for bad manners - rude gestures include tbagging and clicking at the killer, spamming loud noise notifications, hitting a hooked survivor, and camping a hooked survivor and nodding.
Sandbagging is when you as a survivor do something that either unintentionally or intentionally endangers your teammates or prevents them from playing. Sandbagging includes blocking a survivor's way while they're being chased, dropping pallets in front of them, dropping pallets needlessly in general, running the killer into other survivors as a way of escaping a chase, trapping other survivors in rooms or corners, pointing at lockers other players are hiding in, unhooking a survivor right in front of the killer without using the perk Borrowed Time, or spamming loud noise notifications near other survivors so the killer comes over to investigate. Basically, if it's going to get your teammates killed, don't do it.
Tunneling is when a killer keeps pursuing one player - when they get unhooked, the killer ignores the player that unhooked them, or anyone else who comes in to try and distract them, and starts chasing that player again. Repeat unto death.
-
Here's a couple:
-As a survivor, tbagging to other survivors (crouching a few times rapidly) or clicking a flashlight is either a thank you or a call to attention (heal me, come over here, etc.) Doing either of these to a killer is usually considered as rude. Friendly gestures to the killer include nodding, crouching in front of them (without bouncing up and down), and dropping your item in front of them.
-If you're the last survivor and you've been downed, don't struggle and the killer might give you hatch. Struggling almost guarantees they'll hook you, though if they start hitting the air or flailing their camera, they're telling you to stop.
-If you face a Pig, you can try crouching and walking towards her. If she crouches back, use the point animation in her face. This is known as booping the snoot, and some Pig players will turn friendly, leave you alone once, or spare you at the end of the game on if you boop them. Some players aren't interested in memeing and will just stab you, but it doesn't hurt to try in a last-ditch scenario.
-If you're going for an unhook and the killer spots you and starts chasing you, don't continue back to the unhook unless there's no one else who could possibly get it; instead, turn around and lead the killer somewhere far away from the hooked player.
-If you are running from the killer, and there's another survivor running from the killer that's behind you (between you and the killer), don't drop a pallet - you'll trap them and guarantee the hit. Leave it upright and let them drop the pallet behind you if they choose.
-If there are 3 survivors at the exit gates and the last survivor is hooked, and there isn't something extremely dangerous in play like NOED/Devour/T3 Myers/a facecamping Bubba/a killer chasing all of them out of the gates, the survivors at the gate should go back to rescue their teammate and it's in pretty bad form to leave them behind without trying. 2 survivors safe is iffier but should still try; 1 survivor typically cannot rescue from a camping killer by themselves, and can only hook trade and hope the other survivor makes it out. A lone injured survivor won't even manage to get the unhook and should just leave.
-It's usually best to open exit gates to 99% and then leave them there until everyone is ready to leave; starting the endgame collapse early limits your time to make saves and risks activating Blood Warden.

Spirit's the most notorious, though Doctor also gets a lot of DCs when that first zap rolls out. Twins too, though Twins themselves are so rare that you don't see the "my internet mysteriously cut out when I heard Victor's release sound cue" in action much.
Bubba's not even a hard or frustrating killer to play against, it's just that he's the flagship character for a lot of players who play like complete jerks, and so Bubba's stuck with the stigma. (Though I did a Bubba daily today and a survivor followed me in my first chase trying to beckon me to help them do the 12 stun archive, so I guess not everyone sees Bubba and goes "damn, this is going to be a rough one.")

Stridor doesn't negate Iron Will; you're just looking at the perk incorrectly. Iron Will makes the survivor 100% quieter when injured. Stridor makes the survivor 50% louder when injured. These conditions are additive, not multiplicative. Iron Will still has an effect; you'll be at 50% volume instead of 150% volume. If you were running No Mither as well, you would be back to 0% volume.
Iron Will is already an extremely powerful perk. It doesn't need a buff.

Okay, now THIS is hella relevant, BHVR needs to address this:

As you can see there's absolutely NOTHING preventing BHVR from removing these restrictions from Cheryl's cosmetics. So why are there still linked sets? The least you can do is free her non-legendary cosmetics so that we can freely combine her goth hair with the other stuff she has.
PLEASE give me my goth girl Cheryl back.
While I would love nothing more than them to unlink Cheryl's cosmetics, I am not... entirely certain that email asked the correct question, or the response seemed to indicate that they understood this particular matter. The question asked was 'please make more content for Cheryl' and the answer given was 'we can't do that, it's not our game.' The question needed to be 'hey, do you guys actually care if Cheryl's cosmetics in this other game are allowed to be mixed? Was that a condition of your agreement?'

Hell yeah. If I can suggest one of my favorites, Get Off My Lawn Hag. Find main building, shack, or a high-traffic area and put all of your traps in it - not strategically, just in a huge cluster to freak out whoever first runs through the area. Bring the ear addon for extra chaos. If you end up in an indoor map, just find a good hallway and put the traps down it in a straight line.

Because she did not know my plan, she strolled up, stared at me and flashbanged. As I say, I may have just been afk.
...yyyyyyes? When the killer is afk, why shouldn't the survivors farm all the points they can get? They're doomed to an escape with like 12k points max, and you're presumably not at the computer so you can't even be offended by it.
You really have no moral high ground over this Meg. You were pretending to be afk so you could lolblitz them later and she tried to farm points off of you, which you tunneled her to death over. Like, you seem to be expecting her to play nice, but you weren't playing nice and what you were pretending to be doing was a giant waste of survivors' time, so... question mark? What exactly did you think you deserved? To be left unnoticed until endgame, where you then 4ked and slaughtered them all as you laughed to yourself over how stupid they were not to cleanse the totems? It's not like your afk plan would have even failed. Meg just wanted points.

This just in, survivors aren't allowed to use their perks on the killer because it's mean
I also fail to see how this was going to teach her a lesson when, had she not gone and bothered you early, you were just going to give her a boring-ass game where you afked until endgame and then attempted to sweep everyone. There's not exactly a moral to this story.
