The tournament showed gens done super quickly and many of the killers tunneling to win (Because of how the tournament rules worked)

I didn't watch it live and found it because I like to watch Otz, but honestly the tournament was laughable and it wasn't very entertaining gameplay wise, plus the horrible spectator camera didn't help.

Yeah not to mention it just shows how bad gen speed are and that against player you have to play scummy. Its boring and I only watched for otz

If 3 survivors are on 1 gen thats 2 other gens not being worked on. they get diminishing returns for 3 players. Optimal survivors would never work on the same gen unless its the last one they need.

Crap I meant if they spread out but yeah no stacking is the best thing for killer to face

You can't really comment either way based on a tournament. People love to complain about how survivors are OP on the forum, but I have seen no good evidence for this. Kill rates as of the last stats drop were ~65% overall and ~70% at red ranks. This is in a world with an EGC where the last survivor has a chance to get hatch.

The responses I typically get to this are "but those numbers include hook suicides so they're invalid!" and "those numbers are almost a year old so they're invalid!" To that I'd say, if you don't think these numbers are meaningful, I'd love to see your more convincing evidence for why survivor is OP.

I personally think the game is in a better state balance-wise than it ever has been. Killers like Pyramid Head should not be regularly losing (which I'd call a 0k or a 1k) to teams of a similar skill level even if those survivors are on comms. You can't communicate your way out of a relatively quick down against a killer than can zone, and that means the PH can build pressure.

I agree the tournamrnt cant reflect a general example of gameplay or the majority of players and the game is way better than before and people refuse to see

“If they can find hatch it's basically a free escape.”

    True.

Although, I’m not seeing kobes as often as you are... it’s a legit feature, imo.

Still, 3 out of 4 survivors killed is GGs all day.

Hatch instant free escape? That's funny

  • @MusicNerd_TC said:

Kobes aren't really good, most of the time, when they happen, I'm already winning. I agree, it's annoying though, since it drags out games longer than they should go on.

It happens when I wanna die

  • @ClickyClicky said:

First of all this is not 4%. It's far too common for that. It's basically every other game now, in some games multiple survivors are doing it - no luck offerings or perks btw.

Secondly it's probably the worst of all second chances. Why? because it's free. Doesn't even take a perk slot, it's just the game slapping you in the face.

It's getting to the point where I'm having to face camp survivors just to make sure they don't jump off. If they can find hatch it's basically a free escape.

Wow you really stooped this low dude.

Tournaments impose artificial constraints on the game. Perks, maps, items, hell, even playstyles are often restricted. Win conditions also vary. A tournament where getting BPs is your win condition is going to play out very differently than a tournament where getting kills is your win condition, for example.

Because of this you pretty much can't draw meaningful conclusions about overall game balance from tournament play.

Yeah there is that but without restraints pyramid head would still lose to a coordinated team who can take advantage of gen speed and hell if ds wasnt bugged the matches would have been way different too. My point is you cant talk about how a killers is totally fine when it takes gen rushing to best them and the highest level play

  • @YOURFRIEND said:

Hello. This post is going to be long and rambling, but hopefully coherent.

Dbd is my multiplayer game of choice lately. It's a lot more complex and fun than I have it credit for initially. I've really kind of fallen in love with it. I see a couple of issues with it though.

My thoughts on killer- typically I play a great deal of killer because the queue times are much much lower at night. I prefer survivor though because for some reason, it feels much less stressful than killer. I am rank 4 killer and I guarantee you I do not belong there. I play clown, trapper and legion. I am utterly trivial to loop, if you just run in a straight line and drop pallets you will lose me. It's insane that I'm against high ranks, I simply do not have map knowledge or mind game ability. Nearly everyone I play against is much better than me or that's how it feels. It's so easy to gain pips and so so hard to lose them. I've gotten two kills in a game and watched in horror as I got three pips at the ending screen. The only advantage to playing killer is that you get many more bloodpoints. I don't have any of the really good perks, I'm sitting here with agitation, Pop, brutal strength and whatever else most games. Against people with like 2000hrs in the game, four decisives, dead hards and Objects. Utterly miserable.

On survivor- fifty times less stressful and more fun than killer. Really not sure why. It feels like most of the game is chases and survivors just have a lot of agency in that regard.

Changes to the game? I'd give clown like +.5s on intoxication and 1+s on direct hits. It really lasts no time at all. Legion seems fine to me, maybe a slight increase in movespeed while frenzying. Trapper needs two traps as a default. Survivors need like +20% bloodpoints blanket. Killers +10%. The grind is really very terrible. Survivors should get an escalating multiplicative bonus for every second they're on hook within a killers terror radius, as consolation for getting camped and not getting to play the game.

Finally, people are very very rude in this game. I played dota for years and that game is famous for it's awful players and the people here are much worse. I've played vs. killers that put you on the ground and just let you sit there until you bleed out. One game I was a trapper with no add-ons(ran out) and the survivors dogpiled me in chat for...... using traps? One time three remaining survivors lined up at the gate and walked out at the same time and I got a good chuckle out of it. Thought it was really cool and told them so and they just lost their minds. Terrible insults. I try to adhere to the etiquette of the game, every other 4k I give hatch, if there's a player that's respectful and plays really well I'll let them go no problem. I don't camp, I literally turn my back and leave hook even when I know somebody is nearby because I want everybody to have fun. Then they inevitably teabag incessantly. It's just weird.

Well, thanks for reading if you've gotten this far. I guess it mostly ended up being complaining about rude folks. Oh well.

You have no caused the argument that survs ate the most toxic. But yeah I agree this game can be ass. Most people hate this game and love it. It does things no other game has or can and because of that its fun and unique but the game is toxic and stressful

  • @Crythor said:

Actually this tournament shows that even Nurse and Spirit are UP. If you go like what are you talking about dont stop reading here and continue to see why:

    1. Survivors where handicapped they could only use a perk 2 times per team and the items + addons they had vs the addons the killers were allowed to use were much weaker.
    2. Because they played the strange point system the survivors didnt just try to get max escapes so the kill rates are screwed because some kills only happened because they had to stay in and try to get the points instead of just leaving.
    3. A LOT of kills only happened cause of NOED which is pretty sad. (i know you can counter it but they didnt most of the time)
    4. On average a strong killer like nurse/spirit vs a good survivor team will have a 4k much more often then a survivors will have 4 escapes. If nurse faces good survivors cause you can just camp (which a lot of killers did in the tournament) to always get at least 1 kill. So on average those killers will have more then 50% kill rate. That dosent mean much though. The game has a very strange scoring system both in game and in the tournament. Anything below a 3k should be considered a loss. Despite all that Nurse just barely had a kill rate of over 50% on average.(52.8% i think)

every killer is underpower and its because gen speeds and survivors items are equivalent of anti loop powers at the highest rarity thats why its banned. But yeah the scoring was weird but it was the best they could really do without game mechanics being abused

  • @goatslinger said:

I could be completely misunderstanding your post. But it sounds like you are saying that people should quit saying how spirit and pyramid head can be beaten because they were beaten in hexys tournament but this is not how it is in public matches. To which I agree.

But if you're saying that you can't use this tournament as a basis because the survivors were just so good and gen rushed and it's not like that in regular matches are we just going to ignore that the person controlling the killer was also better than just about any killer you're going to face in public matches?

Or are we admitting that when a killer faces a survivor group of equal skill, if that killer is not nurse the killer loses?

Its well known that survivors have the advantage so that point isnt as important. And if we have to use that point to compare to lower skills then we have a can of worms to open. Like how lower skilled games wont even come close to turning out this way, low rank survivors lose to killers because at low ranks killer is the power role. At red ranks most survivors are trash and the killers have easy kills so their only pressure is gens which people dont do much of due to constant dying. So with all these THATS why they stomp pubs but fail at highest play. Publics are played by random and mixes so the only fair way to justify the killers is by using certain scenarios to make it fair to the people who arent the best and who aren't in swf. You see what im getting at? Yeah they were the best killers and survivors but publics cant replicate that which is why these killers have issues people complain about.

This. Outside of toolboxes/Prove thyself gen speeds are completely fine.

It's map sizes and linked tiles and survivors that literally spawn on a generator that are the problem.

I've seen Jungle gyms with long wall vaults leading into shack widows where the shack door leads into a long pallet loop with no LOS breaker spawn regularly on Farm/Asylum maps. Then there's breakable walls where outside of a single breakable wall on 1 map, are direct buffs for survivor in every way.

Also agreed. Coal Tower is probably my favorite map for killer.

No gens speeds aren't. As long as 3 people can work on one gen and get it halfway by 1 hook that days something

  • @MadLordJack said:

To be fair, the PH's played badly and even admitted it. They kept going for trick shots and flashy nonsense instead of guaranteed hits.

Plus, the survivors had some serious perk bans. Only 2 of each? Remove that and even Nurse cannot win. Technically, Nurse cannot win without them in the trial in the first place, but that requires a favourable map for the survivors.

Even otz went for shots that lets be honest rarely work. Unless you see through the wall you usually wont hit survivors who know to run back and forth to make sure not to fall into your prediction shot. I'm rarely hit through a wall by a ph without im all ears

  • @The_Krapper said:

The thing is the public matches can replicate that , if survivors spread out on gens and nobody does a gen together then they will have the match over in a matter of minutes, this is why you see so many slugging killers in high ranks because that's the only true tactic a killer has to stop the tourney style survivor from gen rushing them to oblivion

No public match can replicate this. Unless it involves a swf. But at that point the match id most likely over as soon as a swf focuses on gens. Most killers aren't that good and vice versa. So yet again gens are just trash and the game needs balancing

  • @Devil_hit11 said:

"FYI tier lists should use the highest capacity for play, balance should not."

The balance is reflection of tier-lists.

The other question regarding this post is, why should killers be balanced(Only be made strong enough) for bad players such that when the team becomes better, you almost immediately instant lose? on 3rd point, you openly admit that you purposely not playing at your best yet complaining that said killer are unfair. The fact of the matter is that teams like Oracle and Agony prove that survivor community needs to git gud at playing survivor in DBD and that devs need stop treating the community like little kids for whenever they throw a tantrum on every little killer/survivor mechanic. Pyramid head changes are intentional being made so that survivor do not need to play well vs pyramid head and pop/thana changes are specifically targeted at Freddy because of the stat-sheet that was presented last year and ever since than, Freddy has been bitched about non-stop until the devs just gave in their latest update. as of recently, the last thing people have bitched about is Undying+Ruin and its only matter of time until this get changed. If survivors think these gameslow perks unfun, wait until every survivor game revolves around 3 gen with instant down, Slugging, proxy hook camping and straight tunneling off the hook(with Nurse/Spirit) or Mori+Noed every game. Most of their survivor games are easily winnable with better looping play against these gen perks among all killers with honestly not that high of skill requirement and survivors could be a lot harder/more stressful than what they currently are. The balance for survivor is intentionally really casual and forgiving.

I don't have any care for survivors who disagree with those perks. They are fine. But my point hasnt been refuted as far as I've seen you say. Those teams dont mean survs need to get good and that's a faulty mindset. Not everyone can get that good or find teams and if they were to do that the killer base would wanna die. Tier lists involve the highest play and balance involves the entire game. Balancing around the highest play makrs things unfair the lower and vice versa. So by using top players performance is not a justification for people who don't gen rush and want to have fun. So im not really sure what you are trying to say

  • @nam said:

Sorry for my poor writing. The story is, in one match I played oni, and I played so good that I got three hooked in the basement.

In general, it should be the end, isn't it? However, they are an AT team, and the last one has borrow time, He just ran to me, took a hit and saved one on the hook, then I found that every of them have borrow time, finally all of the three escape from the basement easily, and I only got one left in the basement.

This is not the end, I chased them and hit two down, but both of the two have Decisive Strike, I took double stupid stun and got nothing. In the beginning, I got three in the basement, but finally I lost everything, and got two stun. This is so much fun, isn't it?

Fortunately, it's me, an experienced killer, not a noob. Finally, I still got 4 kill, but I feel so bad. The game should have ended with four generators left, but they were able to drag two with their op perks. I got so tired with this game since then. Is that mean, as a killer, I must take turns hooking them, one by one, I can't hook two or more at the same time, and I also have to play against gen rush? If that, you are force player to play nurse and spirit.

I already uninstalled the game. I won't play dbd until ZZZ nurf borrow time and Decisive Strike!

You shouldn't complain dude. You wrecked and its entitled to think that you shouldnt be able to get stunned or whatnot. Its a game where survivors live and killers kill so there will be counterplay from both sides. I had a similar game as well where it was like BT AFTER BT AFTER BT but so what I won in the end just accept it. The match may have been annoying but not as annoying as it was for the survivors who all made dumb mistakes and wasted DS in the beginning

Basically, you're crying because spirit and ph have no counter, but then acknowledging that you can beat them with the gen rush.

Fix the gen times and you can have all the nerfs you want. And no, this 1% longer gen times ain't gonna cut it. Oh but survivors dont want that, because it's boring holding m1. They would much prefer the gen times stay the same, but the strong killers get nerfed down to wraith levels, that way they never lose and can get their little power fantasy going.

    Stop whining and git gud.

HA! I am good even if sometimes I have self confidence issues. I know how to gen rush but thats no fun and too easy. Get me a swf all on my level of looping who prioritizes gens and we wont lose very often. But thats not fun not at all nor is it fair. Frankly im not whinig either, I was adressing an illogical point i seen and that I was banned when I seen it. And longer gen times wont happen because 80 seconds is a lot of nothing how would you feel if you as a killer had to camp a hook for a minute? So fun right? Plus they will have a much needed EGC for start of game eventually and when that happens things will be better and plus pyramid head is getting a buff to his ability and nerfing his BS all spirit needs is a clear indicator to her ability and she is fair. Trust me buddy you can make every assumption you like but if you think im just being entitled or wanting easy game you are dead wrong. I will let myself die if a killer gets a bad game and I will kill a teammate who plays toxic for no reason. As a killer ill let someone go if they get sandbagged or screwed over. I'm not an entitle person, the only thing im entitled to is a fun time on dbd. Coincidentally we all paid money on it so all of us are entitled to at least some fun. Anywho next time you hop on the forums at least be a bit civil man, I aint like some of the others around here we can actually have a conversation.

I refuse to believe you and your friend (who takes OoO) btw can’t handle the average public match Spirits.

I play solo 90 percent of all my time on dbd so like 900 hours. And also its the truth any spirit with a good headset and has a decent perception of sound can wreck us because random are unreliable and spirit can easily take advantage of that. Also his OoO doesn't matter does it? I mean you give the killer a free location all game. I've ran solo OoO and it's not that strong unless you're ignored. If the killer is better than you than all they gotta do is chase you and you get no use. Hell ive never even used object and actually had much advantage from it because I usually don't run as soon as they come after me because I like getting chased. Albeit not everyone does that. I digress, spirit has no tell for her power so without reliable gens from a swf you just won't win and if you do its barely or because she sucked

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1680495#Comment_1680495

My point is. There are fundamental problem with balance in this game that stems from 2 things.

    1) the difference in high skill and low skill players is far too great. Which results in balance that is out of wack. Against survivors that can't loop every killer is OP (when matched against equivalent skilled killers), against survivors that can loop like gods only nurse and spirit are viable.

The problem is that the "balance" of the game changes based on how good the players are. When I first started the game playing with friends I thought killers were OP. My friends and I were lucky to complete 1 or 2 gens a game. And that was when we were matched with killers who also just bought the game.

Now after 1k hours it is apparent to me that the game heavily favors survivors who can play efficiently. Survivors who can slam gens the second they see the killer chase someone else. Survivors who know every totem spawn. Etc.

    2) map RNG and in general RNG in this game holds it back. You can play a map and get 7 unsafe pallets and multiple dead zones 1 game. And in the same map the next game there are 14 god pallets with no dead zones.

You make valid points and I agree wholeheartedly that this game favors survivors and its because of gens. If gens were balanced then everyone would have a chance amd if they touch up on rng. Because there are definitely strong loops but a good killer can and will shut them down. My friend Dawson is almost as good if not as good as me and went up against a blight and it happened to be scott jund and he got WRECKED. As he said. Now he KNOWS how to loop which kimda show that looping isnt all that killers make it out to be. Because a good killer can shut down these loops. But not many players get fair matches which sucks.

  • @Slashstreetboy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/197895/hexy-tournament-pyramid-head-and-spirit

I may have missed it, but it seems you ignored the fact that some of the very best Killer players used them as well.Your argument is easily turned around. A good team focusin on gens requires the two or three strongest Killers to stand a chance, yet when they are picked, they are complained about.

The tournament had it´s flaws but it impressively highlighted that in the high skill bracket, Survivors just dominate against everything but Nurse.

Spirit also. And these killers may have been the very best but they were back and forth games. At the end of the day the top 3 teams were picked and their killers all dominated over the other survivors and the tides turned during some rematches and ties. But my whole point is you can't try and say these killers are fine because they didn't stomp the best survivors. You dont even have to be the best killer to stomp a public with them. THATS the heart of the issue.

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/197895/hexy-tournament-pyramid-head-and-spirit

It proves what we all already know.

At the highest levels of play the only viable killers are nurse and spirit.

Spirit can still lose but is still probably slightly overtuned, but nurse is OP at the highest levels of play (I'm a nurse main. Believe me. I have to try to NOT 4k)

Every other killer is not viable. At the highest levels of play this game is not balanced and it needs to be fixed if the game is to ever retain players.

And don't give me the "but that's so rare" argument. It's not a good one. It doesn't matter how rare it is. It's not less than 1% rare and the fact that it CAN happen shows that the game is unbalanced. Imagine if in chess white had an 80% win rate at the highest levels. Wouldn't be much of a fun game would it?

Umm I don't see your point? That this whole game needs better balance or only high levels? Like I believe this game needs a major fix and also legion can wreck at red ranks too. You need a good killer player to do well. If we could fix gens I can assure you all the other fun killers would be just as viable as long as you are good with them. I play oni and I wreck for the most part, without my ability im still a decent killer, but some people arent actually good you know? Anyways my point is gens and balancing should be the biggest issue being solved and if it does get solved I could play ghost face again without having no fun because I cant stealth up against wary survivors. Also yeah nurse OP I tried maining her but it makes.me feel like trash when I play her and lose

  • @GhostMaceNotCrusty said:

Its low level survivors mad cuz they depend on their perks like BT and DS. Dont mean any disrespect

Play pyramid head without being able to fake your ability. If someone fakes the window you aren't allowed to cancel your ability. Then tell me how it feels. Pyramid head can get a guaranteed hit at EVERY loop without the help of dead hard or bt or sprint burst. Put me up against a killer using no power and I can assure you I can.loop them.just fine unless they are a pretty good killer. Put me up against a trash killer and tell them how to fake their ability and I can assure it womt.be hard for them to win. That's how b.s. his ability is.

I'm so tired of getting only Deathzzzlinger and Pyramids all day or Pinball killer with Undying + Ruin build, bs hits, Ebony moris or killers getting tilted because they can't catch you. Ded servers still being buggy, grabbing animation bugged, Spirit still nof nerfed, devs still releasing annoying anti loop killers and their only counter it's gen rushing forcing us to play stealthy (boring af). And now with crossplay, console survivors being useless, camping pallets, dc'ing, exploting gens and console killers using devour + undying + noed. This game it's becoming incredibly annoying, boring for survivors and all because BHVR.

Thank you BHVR for doing this game so good!!!

Watching everyone talk about being rank 1 and see streamers escape it makes me feel not good enough even when I play solo and usually play better than the teammates I get. Not always though, and killer is frustrating with swf even when I can win it just gets boring too playing the stronger killers. The bugs and the window hits and just omg its no fun dying all the time due to the fact I like getting chased or playing against swf to the point I feel stressed. As a survivor it doesnt stress me out it makes me happy or mad and I prefer that over stress and anxiety. Idk sorry for talking you ear off

I've not watched these so I cant say if they are 'GOOD counter's but if I can find these simply from typing 'dbd spirit counter' I dont see how you could think only tru3 and scott have made videos on the subject.

And also I personally tried the counters people on the forum have suggested myself and they work most of the time. I cant record anything currently myself, as my computers power supply is currently damaged. However I do implore you to atleast try the counterplay others have suggested in the meantime.

I have tried I assure you and also I didnt know about these videos so im going to watch them right now and ill tell you if the killer in question was bad or if the video had proof and ill tell you my thoughts and if you want you can watch it as well and we can discuss

I don't let anyone deter me form using perks I like to run. You are not trash for using something that is part of the game. If a killer has an issue with it its because its something they haven't learned to deal with as a player. But that is a whole different subject. And to be 100% honest i barely am affected by any of the commonly hated survivor perks as killer as I play around them and i don't tunnel much and if i DO down someone off hook i leave them let them unbreakable w.e the case as it is still a form of pressure i don't need to hook them immediately as it still either forces the unbreakable or another survivor to stop what they are doing to get them up. It is interesting to see survivors completely throw themselves at me to save someone who is downed off hook.

Reregardless I want to have perks that dont help me with chases

I will disagree because I find spirit enjoyable to go against, I've seen the other sides point of view, they disagree with me and do not find her fun to verse, and their opinion that it's not fun to verse I cant call wrong because it's an opinion, just like they cant call my opinion of enjoying to verse her wrong.

However when you try to say its completely uncounterable when theres been multiple times proven and shown by a variety of sources, then people can call you wrong.

I dont enjoy versing oni, doesnt mean I think anyone who likes to go against Oni is 'BIASED' or that they refuse to look at my point of view. I just assume they have a differing opinion from me. and if I were to say oni is uncounterable theyd be completely in the right to call me wrong.

No I say everyone has a right to an opinion but saying someone is wrong due to bias is wrong in my opinion I would say that you can say they are wrong if you at least make the effort to put yourself in their shoes. And tru3 and scott are the only ones who made videos about it. You can talk all you want on forums but you dont have proof without video. And thats why I want to see these counters working. Id love if there was a GOOD counter to her and if there is would you mind sending me a video with proof or record it yourself. I'm open to changing my mind but I need to see something that can get me thinking

I mean when she had silent phase or the amulet didnt have the speed debuff and her wakazashi gave her super lunge it was terrible. ANd i get that its frustrating. It doesnt bother me because my build helps all around no matter the killer

Yeah those add one were pretty harsh and yeah if you run strong perks you can handle her better. But I hate relying on that and when all survs get is trash talk about how bad they are for running these perks you think that feels good. I have no skill because I always used dead hard and DS so now I have to run other things. But now idc because I run perks that arent counters to killers. My build is a copy paste I guess but adrenaline sprint burst and ds and hope. It helps be deal with noed killers or pull off last minute saves. And ds is because I always get tunneled for the most part when I DONT run it which sucks. And sprint burst to prolong chase. Anything that actively makes me do better in chases is a no go. If I wanted to run perks to make sure I am almost untouchable I could but thats unfair and pathetic

Uhhhh....Iron will isn't just a spirit counter....it messes up most killers who rely on sound and works especially well against Doc....

No thats calm spirit and no they were saying run it FOR her

So if someone is smart and looks at things logically you can't disagree with any of their opinions?

No im explaining why people listen. When you are BIASED you dont look at everything so you have a skewed view and thats why people cite him. Disagree all you want but if you refuse to actually look at it in the other sides way then you dont have much place to call the people who do wrong because they think about both sides

There are people who counter her literally every day. If you expect to run her for 5 gens.....thats not gonna happen. But you can easily run her for 2 or 3 if you're really on top of your #########. Either way, watch enough streams, watch enough killers playing spirit, watch enough survivors like Tru3talent running spirit, and get some cam time in and thats all you need. Its not the killers job to make you improve, you gotta take up that mantle. And if you get hit in a fighting game "even though you made the best play" <-----Thats BS dude....cause you didn't make the best play. You gotta learn that about any pvp or competative game, if you lose....YOU didn't make the best play. Learning how to lose is just as important as learning how to win. If you can't go over a replay and call out your own mistakes you'll never improve....ever. Thats just competition in general. Its the same logic behind people who literally carry their teams in games, yes even DBD there are obvious team carries.

And if you ever want to get to that level in DBD or anything else you gotta stop making excuses and pointing the finger at other people and point it inward. So you looped left when you could have looped right, <---YOU made that choice. So you decided to keep working on that gen for 1 more second when you could have ducked behind a bush before you were spotted <----YOU made that choice. You make the choice to drop pallets, you make the choice to vault, etc, at the end of the day You have control of your character and can manipulate that in a way to your advantage. The proof is there that she can be dealt with, but if thats not good enough for people to follow suit and learn those methods, then it all boils down to literally "Not wanting to get better at the game".

Whinging about it isn't gonna improve your play. I can whine all day about DS, I can whine all day about BT like some of these new killers do, but thats not gonna improve me as a killer if I don't adapt to these perks and make better decisions when I'm doin work.

Dude I admit my mistakes but you know how many times I lost because she appeared where I was regardless of my perks or mindgames? Tru3 even admits when a killer isnt good and when he loops a spirit he critiques them

Loook i agree before she needed it it was nonsense with the collision and her addons at the time but.. I look at things based on my experience. Why would I argue to keep her the way she is if i felt as a survivor she was unfun to go against?? If every game i had against her nothing i did worked against her and every chase lasted 5 seconds against her i would understand but the fact of the matter is it isnt like that at all for me and i feel she is fine.

Understandable and the addons before were fine as far as I belueve I just want to have a fair chance without relying on perks or guessing

These are your opinions. Nurse sure has somewhat of a high skill cap but she wasn't that hard for me to pick up. once you get her down its game over theres no if ands or buts about it. And as for Billy and oni, both are susceptible to pallets and loops and if you dont give oni a hit early game his power is useless. but again these are my thoughts and opinions and you dont have to agree but i dont have to be a sheep ans fall in line with the spirit hate.

I agree and I dont think you should be a sheep. But my point is you dint havr to be unlikable to be viable

Scott said it himself it IS counter play just not "fun" counter play and that's his opinion on the fun factor. Why does everyone use scott in their arguments his word is not law hes wrong about some things and doesn't dictate my thought process on this game one bit. Yes i agree on some of the stuff he says but I don't have to agree on everything he says. Again we will just have to agree to disagree it will just be sad to see her nerfed AGAIN because survivors cant seem to figure out how to play against her. I would honestly love to see her kill rate @Peanits or whoever it is that runs those numbers because i highly doubt it will be dramatic.

Dude Scott is smart thats why and he looks at things logically. Anyways she wasn't nerfed that bad

I don't seem to be understanding.... I don't have these issues you claim to have against her. I stream the game and i could have any one who watches come in here and tell you my escape rate against spirit is at least 8/10 matches against her. The only time i lose to a a spirit is if she tunnels/camps. I don't have to see things your way and I respect your opinions but she isn't as bad as people make her out to be. why should ONLY one killer be strong enough to deal with good survivors??? Why should all other killers have to be weak against them?? I don't understand... Its not even like EVERY killer you phase is going to be playing as spirit.

ONI and BILLY. They are balanced and can do just as good. You dont need to be uncounterable and negate everything to win. Nurse is fine because she is hard as ######### spirit is easy

There is plenty of evidence to show she has counter play yet it's always dismissed for the same reasons.

    "killer bad"

    "survivor lucky"

The problem is your mentality thinking she has no counterplay so you shut your mind to any possibility that could be the case and thus never improve as a player.

Honestly if you want to ever get anywhere with this you need to stop being so closed minded.

I am not. I literally WANT to see counterplay. I have gone against so many spirits. And the only ones I could run were bad killers all the good ones I couldn't. Same with my teammates. I have not met ONE person who could wreck a good spirit. So please show me the counters and show me they work. @ScottJund literally is open to go against anyone with his spirit he and me myself just want to find a counter. Everything said is not a counter. Guesses are not counters being forced to run perks is also not. And praying they are bad is not a counter. Show me a counter please. Prove what you said because there is so many vids showing that she cant be outplayed. Scottjund WRECKED zubat all in under 60 seconds and zubat is considered on the the BEST players

and what about with other killers?? Looping a killer is a lot??? baiting vaults and windows is a lot? I dont understand.. All killers are the same to me you read the killer study their style/habits and use that against them.

IF A KILLER CAN NEGATE IT THAT IS UNFAIR. Only NURSE should be able to do that, instead they keep making killers doing it and are easier to play and if it keeps up survs are gonna quit. We deserve to have an equal chance to win. It is so frustrating to not be able to have a good chance at winning regardless of skill because of a killer. Just like swf is unfair too because a swf doesnt need skill to win and look how many killers complain. Swf can be dealt with like every other survivor

  • @Perfectsavage_13 said:

Unfortunately not even the hatch can guarantee you'll not de pip. Even if everyone DCs, so I wouldn't say it rewards bad survivors. Not to mention it punishes the killer for no reason, they should have it where it one person DCs, it should give you more score than it already does, that way if 3 DC and one gets the hatch, it guarantees a black pop, same should go for survivor too, I hate when people DC it screws up the rest of the players, killer included.

I think hatch needs balancing and D.C. needs to guarantee a black pip depending in how many

But you can outplay a Spirit. You just don't do it by looping like every other killer, just like you don't beat a mix up character by playing against them like they were a shoto.

You have pointless arguments that doesn't actually solve this so im done talking to you because frankly we will get nowhere

No need to be rude mate, I was just asking a question as to the reasoning as you saying because it helps in chase doesnt give too much insight into your reasoning.

Yeah I apologize but I'm getting so many pointless replies that basically don't add anything to what is said and having people misconstrue what I say 2 times in a row is annoying. I apologize

So you just want a 100% guaranteed way to escape then.

That's not a reasonable expectation. You're just asking for the killer to get nerfed because you suck at playing against her. You have many valid options to beat her, but you don't care for any of that you just want the same 'ol looping like every other killer so you don't have to expend the energy to improve at the game.

You should escape when you can outlay a killer. If a spirit sucks at looping and you are way better, then uses her power and now has ALL the power that is unfair.
