15-18k is a normal match, 22k+ is an above average match and those rare matches at 28k+ are actual mysteries, I think I’ve only got above 28 less than 10 times, I usually hover around 15-22k in a decent match. Depends on the state of the match though.
Below 10 is usually a bad game, generally only get this if the killer dcs early match or tunneled to death/Moris etc.
-
@Pike_Trickfoot yes the amount of times I’ve been hooked in EGC after running the killer and I watch 2 teammates stand at the gate, even had one wait for the person I was trying to save die one time before they left... EGC isn’t that scary, the timer is actually really forgiving while people are hooked, some just panic even if the killer doesn’t have NOED etc. I always go back if I’m not Rancor obsession. I’ve pulled off some amazing EGC saves and they feel amazing compared to the normal match saves, especially when everyone just makes it out.
I’m the same, no matter how bad I’m doing I refuse to hound the same person if there are other targets around. I know how it feels on the other side, I had one match where some Claudette left tracks to a hook and pulled the person off in front of me while I had ew3 (from them too) without BT and I downed them instead and they DC’d (was end of the game too and a gate was open) I couldn’t help but laugh, they seriously expected me to go for the person they tried to hook farm...
-
I’ve had a few but my favourite was playing pre change legion, I played a match on the Ormond map and legion as they’re meant to be played by spreading damage via frenzy hitting everyone and gave everyone good chases and right at the end I got a message from a min (who I could have killed a lot earlier but I always go for an unhooker in those situations and I ignored her while she was trying to heal) thank me for playing legion well and giving them a chance, that was so lovely. It was a 3k+ hatch escape match but everyone got a ton of points because old legion was good at spreading damage and bp and she still thanked me for my fair play style even though she went down first.
I also had one recently as Quentin where I went back into the game in mid EGC against a spirit to save a Claudette on her second hook when everyone else left, I lost her on the way to the gate but saw her just in time to protect her from a hit and post game she thanked me and called me a true hero, it was adorable. I tend to get nice messages from survivors mostly when playing killer or survivor. The nice messages are rare but they’re so cute 😍

so, do you guys think of any buffs, or atleast not nerf him?
and you definitely should do something about object of obsession and premonition.
now you might say "Not many people use OoO already, so it would change the meta to take the risk of using it"
but a lot of people do use premonition including me.
detection perks not working against michael but working against ghostface shouldnt be a thing.
The only thing I don’t get with this immunity thing is people are comparing tier 1 Myers (no TR and immunity to detection perks but poor lunge, no instadowns, barely any chase capability and reduced movement speed) to ghostface at base (normal movement speed, can expose fast especially while leaning, no TR while in shroud/stalking) I’m not a fan of this comparison because tier 1 Mikey is actively trying to get to his exposed tier/out of tier 1 being detected would make getting out of tier 1 even more difficult and tier 1 is by no means a great place to be stuck hence immunity only in this tier. Compare this to ghostface who can move at normal MS and jump straight to exposed, pig is also not immune because she has a normal attack and MS out of her stealth, OoO and premonition I kind of get because they’re directional but premonition, even then, detection is it’s only drawcard (all also work on Myers from tier 2, so 90% of the match) but spine chill should still work on him.
I’d be fine with removing his stealth noise (which makes no sense to exist in the first place since as it’s directional I can track him through walls...), slightly increasing the reveal to 2s (maybe 2.5 with addons) and maybe a slight MS buff while in night shroud and not stalking to help a little with his lack of map pressure.

I agree some are taking it overboard but you have to admit though the legion bug was near immediately taken action on, this has been on the forums for about a week (if not more) now and the devs still haven't made in game changes/news etc or even just locking the perk until the hotfix.
I argued against the legion ban saying they should put up warnings in game and they actually did do that within days. This is just too slow of a response and people are just showing how they are angry in a different way this time. It's beyond not knowing about it at this point, partially because word has already spread and the devs have not come forward formally.
-
People usually get banned for baiting, spam and most commonly of all starting fights or being offensive/rude. Usually happens after a heated argument/controversial topic thread. I've seen a lot of threads criticising the devs so that's not the case, if anything they're pretty chill with how much criticism they do get, classing it as passion from the community about the game.
Basically you can voice an opinion on anything to do with the game (or other things in off topic), just don't be overly disrespectful/rude etc with it.
-
Hmm makes me wonder if it's linked seeing the replies above (i.e. being a Myers main prior to learning/trying ghost). I tend to do better with Myers but that might just be experience talking, I main him so I was putting off commenting on this thread because it feels like bias.
Playing ghostface is really fun but like OP, I feel like I have more control when I play Myers. I'm thinking this is just confidence and understanding my build/TR/character completely though. I'm still trying to get a perfect playstyle/build on ghost so I think it's too early to agree or disagree 100% by comparing 100s of hours (and a main) to less than 15.

Oh it is LOUD. I stopped playing Nea because her heavy breathing was GROSS! I just wished they didn't sound like they were having sex.
My momma came to visit and pulled me aside and asked if I could stop having loud sex 😂. I explained, after near dying of laughter, that I was up playing a game.
Protip: Wear headphones if company is over 😬
I've always thought Nea's breathing was similar to Michael's so my friend who plays her frequently creeps me out if she appears behind me/is breathing down my neck because I'm listening out for killer sounds.

Killer costumes - £8 and you cant even see yourself in game except for a few seconds at the start of the match. Its crazy really....
This is the reason I haven't really got any killer cosmetics, completely agree, you can't even see anything but the weapon (most) /hands (spirit and hag). I think I got a small cell pack once and got a few items (were mostly cheap ones got 1-2), I tend to mix and match so it's not a full outfit. Haven't really bothered since due to the price and like many have mentioned above many of the new outfits are cells only and the few rare ones you can get with shards require massive in game time.
At least with survivor you can see them though, but most lack flair and drastic change from all the other outfits the character has (I think Jane has my favourite overall because of the range of styles and colours she gets). It's kind of why I wish they'd consider doing the cosmetic contest more frequently because some of the designs were amazing and unique.

Also, 2 words:
Sheriff Jake.
@Masantonio As much as I’d like to draw Min and Rin, there is a lot of spirit in this thread but I guess it’s more a scene or headcanon out of the 2 (although I can 100% picture Jake dressing up in a sheriff costume and walking around like an old timey sheriff/acting like it means he’s in charge and the others just go along with it for laughs) I’ll try the min one though, I have an idea of poses, starting to branch into character cosmetics in the pieces too so sure. I’ll let you know when it’s done. Now, I’m wondering if I should draw sheriff Jake, so indecisive on this one... might think about it tonight and draw base sketches for both and see which I’m feeling more.
Spirit is definitely a favourite around here. Or maybe I’ve accidentally accepted a pattern for myself haha...😅 Might revisit what’s been suggested and see if I can get some more characters in here. I’ve just been selecting based on how well I can picture the poses etc.

@Unnamed_Freak Sorry it took so long, was sidetracked by the 3rd anniversary artwork contest so I tried to get both of these done today, tried some new more simplistic lineart with wraith and focused more on the painting layers, definitely makes it faster. Also the wraith one was from another thread where I saw you comment on wraith/Philip having a pet crow and I loved the idea so did it here with hallowed blight skin, hope that’s okay, if not let me know which of the others you mentioned here you’d prefer to see and I’ll try again also feel free to contribute more if you want.
I can’t draw Susie for the life of me but bane of my existence seems to be the favourite choice of this thread🤣Have a bit of a headache so I’m going to chill for a bit now, will return to these tomorrow. I like how the complexity is increasing with each post because I can’t be consistent. 🤗

@Kiskashi The game's about a community ostracized from the rest of society due to what they can do and their adventures within their hidden bubble. You come in as an outsider and get to know everyone, while trying to find your place in the community. The character doesn't remember much of their past, but it is heavily implied that they were involved with something traumatic and that their past life was taken from them and they were granted with a new one by luck. I would consider it a Choose Your Own Adventure fantasy story with horror elements at times. A lot of the beats are light, but some elements and some characters can be quite scary. I really like horror and fantasy stuff, so including it in what I do just kinda happens lol.
I've actually reworked the game several times. I was going to tell a story from a later time, but decided I wanted to do a little bit of world building first and to tell the story from when the community got their first addition that was heavily involved with what they can do, power-wise. Like when everything started to change and they started seeing some potential in their abilities that their parents never considered too seriously. I believe there's like four major stories. Two of which involves characters that are only introduced in the last story.
I'm currently planning on making two games, though it's a slow process. I was going to make the second one where you can choose between a few dolls to play as, though I'm not sure if I'm gonna go through with that atm or just tell a character story. I really like the Choose Your Own Adventure element of stories. I like when what you choose matters and the world feels real around you, so-to-speak.
Sorry for the long post. xD I'm passionate.
Costume making definitely counts. That's really cool! Digital art is also really fun. I actually have an OST playlist on YouTube just for when I need to focus. I think half of the videos are deleted now, though. It's been a while since I opened it or put anything on it. Do you make costumes for anything specifically?
That sounds really interesting 🤩 I love the choose your own adventure kind of games, that’s why I got really into telltale games before their closure, it gives an opportunity to shape your character and it connects you emotionally. The world sounds really cool too, dark fantasy and horror are some of my favourites for creative works. Best of luck with it, developing games is definitely time intensive so I really respect anyone who puts the time, love and effort into their work be it games, books or just anything that requires creating an entire world and deep characters.
I’ve personally switched over to Spotify but I used to use YouTube too but that was the annoying thing, when things get removed without notice. I’m making the scarecrow one because a friend wants to go to a convention as joker, I’ve also gone to one as Rhys from Tales from the Borderlands, otherwise I’ve made a trapper and a legion mask for fun and a wearable pumpkin/jack-o-lantern head for a Halloween event one year (also painted my arm as exposed muscles) and a forest creature masquerade mask for a friends party (they do a different theme every year)

Superhero-type thing with sci-fi elements thrown in (takes place in the future, has teleporters, alternate universes, that sort of thing). For the sci-fi portions I'm drawing on my knowledge of physics and trying to push beyond the boundaries of this universe to imagine whole new ones.
I don't enjoy reading, in fact. I find most authors would rather spend fifteen paragraphs describing a room than just getting on with the story. I like Chekhov's approach to writing (though not that I've read his work): if something doesn't add to the story, don't waste the reader's time on it.
That sounds really cool, sci fi has so much potential for discovering new things, new creations/inventions and imagining the future and possible changes to society and the worlds in which the stories take place . You sound passionate about it, that was beautifully described.
Ah, I’m not sure where my favourite fits in then 😅, I love Neil gaiman’s work especially “Ocean at the end of the lane” and “Neverwhere” I find I read a lot because I have a long train ride to work every morning and on the way home, I recently read “All the light we cannot see” by Anthony Doerr it was amazing. I was almost hoping you could suggest me something new haha but I understand, not everyone likes to read books or can find the time to read a book. Some prefer shows, games and movies, enjoying stories all the same just in different mediums.
I’m the opposite I think, I enjoy the feeling of the world, the description is the gateway to that to picturing it in vivid colour, Neil gaiman does this in the Ocean at the end of the lane beautifully, he doesn’t overdescribe but he often paints a vivid, colourful yet dark and mysterious world. But simple, sharp to the point stories are also interesting they have a point to make and they don’t waste time getting to it, some stories do feel too fleshed out, I get what you mean...
-
Michael, ghosty boi is fun but I can never leave the classics. I still prefer Michael’s stalk and crowd control potential, he has better opportunities to turn up the pressure being a global threat to survivors with ew3. Plus he’s an actual threat if he has tombstone and the mirror addons are fun to play and play against. Overall much prefer Myers as and against.

Pig isn't getting a pov raise because they gave Ghostface the same ######### pov. His camera drags the ground when crouched and a thick blade of grass can count as a LOS blocker when trying to stalk a survivor.
To be fair his power is better than pig’s for a chase/getting a target so it’s not like he’s expected to land a dash after being grass blind, also I know but I’ll never stop asking for it. She needs buffs a lot more than he does (addons, POV, crouch speed etc) I just added it as a broad hope that she would get that and the crouch speed even if the only thing they may change is the crouch speed. Seems like he needs it too but piggy has been waiting longer.
-
That’s pretty cool that you’re making a game, do you mind if I ask what it’s about/what’s the setting?
@Orion what genre is the book/book concept? My friend did a creative writing course at uni so I was constantly getting their work to read over as drafts. Writing is definitely a difficult passion and writer’s block is tough. Do you do a lot of reading, and what’s your favourite book/author/genre if so?
I guess I’m making a scarecrow costume (Gotham tv show one) if that counts if not I guess I do digital art, trying to practice anatomy and colouring techniques in my spare time. Like Orion music helps while I’m doing art and colouring a piece, helps me focus and back when I used to do a little writing it can help with inspiration/mood setting while writing a specific scene (but as you mentioned it’s easier to focus if it’s instrumental so I used to listen to gaming OSTs or techno).
For the costume and the occasional masks I make I tend to make a list of all the parts and draw concept images and make notes on what materials I could use, then I break it down into parts to make per month, that way I can set out a timeline to have components completed by, for these references are everything and getting a massive compilation is important.
-
@Unnamed_Freak I’ll finally be getting back to these now as the artwork event is over, also since you’ve waited so long I’ll be doing two of your suggestions. Hopefully should start them this weekend, sorry again for the wait. 😣
-
Did a speed run of it in 2-5 minutes. Missed only 2. I thought it would be a bit more difficult. Didn't bother looking anything up either, wanted to test knowledge, felt like half of it was what series is each character from...
-
Yes, I agree with all of this, it'd be nice to see trapper get some much needed QoL buffs, he's in dire need of them. I also like the idea people suggest that he just starts with all of his traps (bar the auto set addon, these could be random placement as usual or better yet activate once a trap is deactivated they auto reset and can re-place/move set traps etc)
-
-is moderately offended by the title of this thread-
In all seriousness they both have advantages and disadvantages, I'm hoping his release might mean buffs for other stealth killers in general (Pig POV raise/crouch speed and Michael's stalking restrictions i.e. draining, since ghost doesn't have them)
Plus being seen doesn't kick Michael from using his power... (but ghosts is cooldown based too, put memorial flowers and J Myers memorial together and you can EW3 whenever you want without having to target individuals)
-
@Blueberry said:
Give him multi stalk back and remove the stalk cap per survivor. Now that would be a good present for him.
Yes, this would be nice especially since everyone is now calling ghosty the better stalker...Maybe looking at changing his addons too (cough stalking movement speed for something useful cough)

Hard to know when new survivors are always in the works and outfits can change. I play all of the survivors so I might not be the best at this but maybe based on the amount/variety of cosmetics, who you enjoy playing most (choose naturally) who you’ve prestiged/got the most perks etc on. Otherwise play them all, see how they play/feel/sound and see who wins out.
I mean I think I’m technically a Laurie main because she’s my only p3-50 all perks however I play a lot of Dwight, Tapp and Quentin and all others after that in rotation (currently Adam) . I also started with Jake he was my first (also p3) so he’s still special to me in a way. You tend to love them the more matches you play/win as them but definitely look at the styles of cosmetics they get and how often. I mean meg, nea, Dwight and Claudette get a lot of cosmetics and min tends to get event ones. They’re your best bets if you’re in it for cosmetics. Jane’s cosmetics are also nice and varied.

@NuclearBurrito said:
It depends on the tile. Some tiles can be mindgamed and when successful can take even less than 10 seconds.
Others cannot be and depending on the initial distance can be looped a few times (which already takes about 10ish seconds) and then throw down the pallet.
The issue with that isn't the time to break the pallet, since they would have just looped you for 10 seconds and then thrown the pallet, not an unreasonable amount of time by itself. However, the distance they gain from you breaking the pallet stalls for far longer than you would assume.
More specifically, the amount of time it takes to catch up to a survivor that simply runs in a straight line after breaking a pallet is 17.3. This assumes they start at your exact location (which isn't true) and does not count the actual time to break the pallet.
In fact. If you count the time it takes to break the pallet then the time it takes to catch a survivor while breaking the pallet is exactly 20 seconds. What that means is that before if a survivor is able to get to a safe pallet (any pallet that you can't mind game after it is dropped) before you can hit them then even if they find absolutely nothing else afterwards they will still be able to outlast the mark.
The only reason why good Killers get any kills at all is because they avoid breaking the pallet at all costs. Instead they'd mindgame any pallets they can and only break a pallet when they can't afford not to. Or better yet use spirit furry+enduring (Under the same math takes 6 seconds to catch up which is far more reasonable)
Keep in mind that the math being used is just: (head start time * 4)/0.6 in order to calculate the time to catch. The existence of some false assumptions (bloodlust, lunges, not starting at 0 meters ect) means that it would be reasonable to say my numbers are 5 seconds too high. But even then, that's 15 seconds from a single pallet if broken (but only 1 second with SF+Enduring). Longer if the Killer gets stunned, but that's potentially avoidable so I'm going to assume he's not stunned.
@mcNuggets said:
45 seconds is actually close sometimes.
The stalk increases too fast in my opinion.
But if the stalk time decreases we need something else.
Like a longer lunge, higher speed when having stalkd or aura.
I’m glad someone gets it, some tiles can be used for a long time and I’m trying to consider it based on higher rank survivors who can run him through loops, 20s is just too short against a good team. 30 might be more reasonable. But as McNuggets mentioned above changing this means he’d need to be balanced out in other areas. The topic was just why was it changed and I feel like the contents of this thread have answered that, if it’s good/bad/needs changing is another story.
-
I don't honestly know why people ask a question and just downvote anyone who replies. Just @ the devs if you want an answer that you can (maybe) accept. Ghost is new, people are still learning, I personally don't enjoy playing against him but even I can see reason in why he has this time (minus the increased duration), if you said 30s I might have agreed but going back to 20s just isn't right. I'm sorry.

i agree myers 60seconds short for wm1 and drain lots of time to active it
but if you drag more than 10seconds in one tile its your intelligent's limit not reach offers by this game especially if you have bamboozle
If that's the case why are people complaining now that it's too long. He's easy to outrun even now. Because he's still loopable while exposed, good survivors could exploit 20s easily if they're even moderately capable at chases.
-
Because 15-20s is gone by the time the killer completes/chases one loop and if he exposes from a distance the survivor has reaction time lead, I've outrun/been able to lose chase or LOS and hide/evaded the new exposed 40s and Michael's 60s one before (and evading ghost is a lot easier than the Michael one too for me, but not going to say that's the standard)
Ghost needed a buff to the time in comparison given really good survivors can loop a single area for a lot longer than 20 seconds. Just watch any streamers in the early ghost PTB and see how many times the exposed was wasted even if they could get it (was difficult at the time but a few did)
The only thing I felt was questionable was how effective his continued stalking is at refilling the timer/causing it to pause plus his increased duration addon timers...

Ihatelife, yep they do, but Trick or treat studios does as well, and their Myers masks are WAY more film accurate. Trick or treat studios also has Dead by daylight masks coming out later this year I believe.
Those Myers masks are amazing, I remember stumbling upon ToT studios a while ago while looking at posts from horror fans I follow (around the same time I found FrightRags) The detail is so good and they look just as detailed in person. I still want the original mask from there tbh... didn't know about dbd related masks though that's pretty cool.
I mean since ghost is that weird hybrid original character and funworld mask it means there could be a lot more potential for outfits in future, hopefully they do explore it. The last one of these though (above), amazing.

Yeah I had this at base tier 3 on my Quentin yesterday and was healing, unhooking, doing totems in 3-5 seconds, doing gens as if I had prove thyself (without anyone else needing to be there) and it's active all game. It was completely overboard, ended up switching characters anyway. It's nice the perk felt more useful for once, but not like this.

But don't worry fam! Kate now breathes louder than anything so it constantly feels like female myers is right next to me.
Pain grunts also completely drown out everything else. Being on a hook sounds like I'm in the sound booth next to the person voice acting it.
I literally have to run spine chill now and its because I can't ######### hear the non stealth killers coming.
This is so accurate to my experience playing yesterday. Add not hearing killer powers except ghostface and you're all good for a session of "what is actually going on?" (no freddy lullaby was the worst encountered but I have seen people had silent hillbilly, nurse and Myers so I'll consider that lucky in comparison)
-
Wow that's some petty salt, H:DH is one of my favourites too and if it lasted until they were exposed and you still killed them after they were notified by the exposed status then they really need to reconsider their ability as a survivor instead of going off at the killer for choosing a risk/reward perk heavily impacted by totem placement.
I've never really received salt about my builds/killer etc but I am on ps4 so I get post game chat is more likely to get it because they have to be so tilted they send a message on console but seems this might have been the case for you anyway...

I went from 1-50 on gf, used all gateaux i got on him while dumping excess bp on my wraith and now my wraith has 54 gateaux so definitely isn't a drought of them. There might be something wrong on the survivor side though if so many people are having a tough time in getting them on survivor.
That’s interesting, only played survivor during the event so far due to killer queue times, maybe it is a problem with survivor drops.

@KillermainBTWm8 I only had one time i could break him out and it was weird that i was right in front of him staring for 3-4 seconds and he got his stalk off. I was 4-5 meters in front of him.
This is making me wonder if it’s a ps4 problem. I’ve had a similar issue, breaking the stealth is inconsistent. PC seems to report it’s easy though. Wonder if this is the reason for the disparity.
-

They really should have made it appear at least once in every bloodweb like they did with other event offerings.
That’s what’s so weird, it’s barely an event and the main offering is difficult to come by. I spent near 1 mil bp yesterday and got approx 5-6. That’s crazy considering at least for blight and lunar events they were common and gave a bp bonus on burning and doing the event objective, maybe it’s because there isn’t an event objective but it just feels really rare to get them.
I do have a lot of my survivors prestiged though. I’m actually getting more BPS than the event cakes...
-
New killer, massive bp which is easier to get with killers and BBQ(how are people saying this isn’t true, BBQ plus bp offerings and a good match at best as survivor I get 80-100k killer gets much more than this considering a normal match before was near 80k with offerings and BBQ without double bp)... can’t say I’m surprised. My survivor matches have never been faster so it’s probably just the disparity I had the same problem trying to play killer when the bp event started, queues are super long. Hopefully it will return to normal soon.
-
It needs to be a little louder, especially for survivors. I had my headset at the old dbd settings (prior to update where I could hear everything fine even in other games)and the heartbeat, chase music and even Freddy’s lullaby were basically non existent. Only knew I was in a chase by killer footsteps, red stain and occasionally got surprised by “escaped” chase point score events because I didn’t even realise I was in a chase...
-
Yeah had a magical 5 cakes go up and the killer was a ghost who hard tunnelled, had strong addons so exposed anyone who dared try to save fast while being hard to break out and camped the hooks...was so disappointing. 2 teammates just gave up on the hook and weren’t doing gens anyway. I don’t expect them to farm but I’d rather play a normal match.
-
Had the same thing, played 4.5h session as survivor against 99% ghosts and mid chase or behind trees/ directly in front of or behind him barely works. I think I did it successfully three times at a distance. It’s definitely a bug fix, I had one particular match where I could not break him out at all despite him being clear view 90% of the match (he wasn’t particularly hiding) and even when directly in front of him.
-

The 5% prevalence is convincing to me. Many people complain as if it were 20%.
It's unfortunate that many killers will just abuse that by dodging, and then SWF players will respond by lobby jumping to mask themselves.
I have proposed a compromise to show SWF, punish dodging and DCing, and provide a BP bonus to killers facing SWF, but who knows what BHVR has planned.
Just to clarify, I do mean reveal at the end of the trial along with the bp bonus or whatever other compensation would be deemed necessary to prevent lobby dodges.
Also I'm not too keen on that data because it was around plague's release and a lot of people were on break around the time (due to state of the game at the time) that data was collected (myself included) it's not really a "normal" situation of dbd as opposed to if they chose a random week post reset vs. mid season etc.

I personally believe that's more of a perception issue. Given that we see that, on average, 4-man SWF only increases survival by 10% (arguably 20% more than solo average), the actual result of these perceived benefits are much smaller than on paper.
Maybe in the tippy top ranks, SWF wreck havoc and/or allow for boosted lower ranks. However, we see complaints about 4-man SWF across the board, so it leads me to believe that much of what is believed is just self-perception. Plus, we don't know who is in a SWF in-game. I've loaded in and matched outfits with random strangers myself for the funsies.
You are right that there are multiple layers to this issue, but I think balance changes will only do so much. I strongly believe that the feeling and self-perception of being bullied that is driving much of the anger.
I agree, the issue is partly that we don't actually 100% know who is in a SWF so most assume when people get a sweaty match it's (4 man) SWF but that data showed it's not that common but all "data" things are kind of "with a grain of salt" (or a ton if it's dbd). That's why indicators were mentioned above, people just want to know once and for all so we can put away this SWF is the source of all misery perception, be it true or false.

I think killer is more fun and unique when it's not stressful or frustrating, because I get to use different powers with each killer and I ultimately feel more in control. (Might be a Virgo thing idk lol)
I kind of agree with this, I play survivor a lot more but I really enjoy killer in comparison when I actually do gather up the motivation to play it and don't get only super stressful matches, might just be because it's different/I like the playstyle change plus rotating killers gives a different playstyle each time, survivor is just queue up a build (usually random now based on what that survivor has) and play how long can I hold R1 on a gen or run the killer for when found while my team either successfully do or do not complete gens.
Feels a little disorienting to go from a few hours of playing killer back to back to playing survivor in one session though, strangely not so much the opposite way.

Adrenaline, Borrowed Time, Spine Chill and Decisive strike.
I'm with this. It's a pretty solid build from the list.

Pips don't make most people happy or unhappy. It's toxicity.
While it's questionable whether teabagging should be dealt with... the first step is taking a zero/low tolerance policy on chat toxicity or abusive language... AND making people feel that reports do something (like Overwatch does.)
But toxicity isn't a SWF restricted thing. Solos can be toxic, killers can be toxic, I think it's the general match experience with them that makes it feel terrible, can't sneak up, your position constantly reported, gens done at the speed of sound while you're chasing one, light speed saves/heals and flashlight saves, can't have hidden traps, can't have hidden totems. As soon as one sees it it's gg. That's why most suggest these changes, toxicity can be linked (and make it worse) but it is a whole other topic in itself.
I just suggested black pipping because some people do like maintaining their rank and depipping just because they got a SWAT squad probably isn't great considering it's an increased difficulty match. I did mention a few points of compensation, that was just a suggestion.

My God, someone seriously convinced you that OoO is the "second most powerful perk for experienced players"?
Seriously, no one even complained about OoO hurting stealth killers before Ghostface dropped. I bet you couldn't even find ONE thread that complained about a stealth killer player having a balance complaint about OoO before GF's drop.
Yeah, this is a good point, purely because rarely anyone ran it except those few toxic squads, however I did see a few threads complaining about it's use in SWF groups in general, not specifically with stealth killers (because as I said it's a rare perk choice and anyone who does use it solo typically gets destroyed when there are better perks for killer aura reads/detection i.e. spine chill or alert for example)

It's generally to protect the person if the killer is in the area especially if it's a hex the killer is guarding heavily such as ruin. It's not a required "you should do it" thing but some do it for this reason and sometimes it helps with those last crucial seconds before the break.
