The interview just shows how out of touch they are. I mean, come one. When they talked about gen slowdown perks, he said, that players shouldn´t feel forced to use them. Killers felt forced to equip Ruin with other slowdown perks for over a year. But instead of doing something in that regard, they nerfed Ruin, Undying, PoP, and Lullaby.
Moris are also going to get nerfed hard, when survivors have a way to interrupt them.
Doesn't sound like survivors will be able to interrupt them so much as prevent them. Which could potentially be a secondary objective of sorts.

Can confirm anniversary event items count.
-
- Trapper can now carry two traps at once
- Survivors who escape from a trap suffer from the Deep Wound Status effect
- When Trapper has no traps on hand, he can summon a disabled trap from within 32 meters
This fixes a lot of problems with Trapper.

So say you are a 1000 MMR killer, and you get 4x 1000 MMR survivors who use no items. Then next game instead you get 4x 800 MMR survivors who are boosted to 1000 MMR because they are rocking keys+hatch offering+BNPs+Haddonfield etc etc. It makes the game "harder" for the killer in the cheapest way possible. Obviously the same can be said for the ruin undying tinkerer compound 33 blight.
Yes, but now imagine that you are playing 800 MMR survivors with keys. And you're an 800 MMR Killer. Your matches are going to be MUCH harder now, and those survivors can stay around the same level by continuing to use keys. You're then making the game 'harder' for the killer of lower skills in the cheapest possible way.
-
In a straight up fight? Trapper wins, no contest.
If Trapper has to get his RBT off, he dies. Pig just goes and hides somewhere with no terror radius.

Yes yes, this blatantly overpowered item is OK because MMR magically solves all problems.
Sincerely - Dev's who break a killer literally every patch
You like putting words in people's mouths, don't you?
All I said is that higher skilled players would be more prepared to deal with them. Not that keys are fine. Shouldn't people who bring keys have higher MMR? Or should someone be able to bring a key to every match and not have their MMR affected because they used a key to escape?
-
I disagree. Higher skilled players are more likely to be prepared to deal with keys. This means lower skilled MMR killers will be less likely to face them. Seems fair to me. They'll get tougher matches because they brought a key. Having a high MMR is 100% meaningless.
-
For me, it's my teammates killing themselves on first hook to lower their MMR. Last game was a 2 man escape, but the first guy to get hooked killed himself on hook immediately. So how would that game have gone if he got saved?
-
I separated them, but it's taking time to get used to. I like R1 for everything, but I find it really hard to escape Pinhead's chains if I don't separate them.
-
Question: If you're playing as Pinhead, do you get a dc penalty? I ask because it's dced me twice as survivor and mercifully I have so far not gotten a penalty.
-
Glad I'm not the only one who had this problem! The pinhead I faced probably thought I was a noob when I kept vaulting back into him.
You can map the buttons differently at least, though that's going to take a lot of getting used to.
-
The better question is why do they keep changing the pallet models? The last ones were fine!
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Haven't faced Pinhead yet but there is an "Actions" setting and "Pick Up Item, Interactions" setting. "Actions" affects vaults/pallet drops/lockers, while the other setting affects things like healing/mending/generators/exit gates/boxes/item pickups. It's likely that the second option affects chains as well.
E: confirmed, Pinhead's chains fall under the latter. I recommend vaults on O/X (B/A on Xbox) and everything else on R1/RB.
Yeah, this worked for me. Going to take some getting used to. But for me it was the Pick Up Item / Interactions button that affects the chains.

No other options and i didnt had to do that when i upgraded to PS5.
Also for some DLCs like the Saw Chapter for example i still have to pay full price again and i also noticed that i didnt lost all DLCs.
It seems like i still have the Twins for example, which i also bought on PS4 since i didnt had a PS5 back then.
The Twins chapter came with the PS5 version IIRC.

I cant redownload it but also cant really buy it either.
You might have to click one of the options there to download it since it says you own it. Can you screenshot it for me?
-
Have you tried downloading them from the PS Store again? I didn't have access to any of my characters on a secondary account for my friend to try out, and downloading them again seemed to do the trick. Also try resetting.
-
If it was over the "I came" Jokes, they'd leave his Mori Quote. Cause nobody made jokes about that.
Really disappointing in the end.
-
Lame. No use buying this DLC if this is permanant.
-
Nurse. I play on console, and let's just say.. I have no idea how to blink properly.
-
I kind of hope SBMM does just take into account kill/escape rates. Let the streamers who say "CAMPING IS A STRATEGY!" go against the survivors who say "BRINGING A KEY IS A STRATEGY" and let them go at it while the rest of us have normal matches.

No. Her hatchets don't go straight. They have an arc. So you still have to aim a little higher and know the distances/arcs
Also...There's plenty of programs that give you a cross hair. And some monitors come with one. So who would even use the add on slot ?
Console.

This. Im a trapper main. I learned long ago you can't save them all. If I got someone in the basement and traps setup, I want you to be altruistic. Even if you manage to make a save I WILL get someone to trade places. Maybe even 2 for 1. It's sometimes better to cut your loss's.
Sometimes it is, though I think it's way more fun to go for the save. So I get it. Plus there's always points
I remember a Trapper Game I had on Haddonfield. Got 3 hooks before end game. 2 were on the same person, and i killed them at the end. So this was a 3-man escape, right? You'd think so. They didn't open the exit gates. I trapped them. Found a survivor, downed them, hooked them in the basement. Went around the map looking for someone else, eventually caught one of them in a trap going for the basement save while I was chasing the other survivor (I left the chase to go back to the hook because it was house of pain, but that person was the obsession, so they probably thought I was still chasing her). I hook THEM in the basement, only for the last survivor to be coming for the save... and step in the last trap I had up there for the 4K. 6 minute end game, they could've left earlier. Hopefully they at least had some fun, maybe a good laugh.
-
Pinhead shouldn't break his own chains.
It also sounds like a situation where a survivor can take the chain hunt hostage. Which is a bad idea IMO.
Not sure why there's a 6 second limit. I feel like his power lost some usage to it with that, which makes him unique and interesting. I think a greater limit would make more sense.
-
Monstrous Shrine?
-
I think that instead, there should be a tenacity for teammates perk in Buckle Up. Being within so many meters of a downed survivor makes them crawl faster (but can't recover at the same time, obviously. But it would stack with Tenacity making for some really fast crawling)
-
I feel like this would lead to very bad things.
Imagine a teammate picking you up... and carrying you into the basement.
-
I have yet to have a problem with any killer on PS5.
-
Seems fair to me. Perk would be useless if the killer could avoid it just by looking at it. I like using blast mine to get 'stun killer x # of times" challenges out of the way. (and for the ones that are stun/blind they count twice!)

That never stopped Overwatch, LoL, CoD or any other game with a ranked mode from adding ranked mode.
I think ranked in DbD would be a great idea if they did it similar to some games.
For example, in LoL you could play with a full party in casual but on ranked you could only play a duo with someone if they were near your ranking.
If DbD ranked allowed the max SWF of 2 players and casual could have 4 man SWF i think itd be fine.
Overwatch at least I think offers rewards for ranked mode. Too lazy to look the others up.
Also sweaty four man SWF's playing nothing but casual? Really?
-
tbh, I wish I could get a refund on everything I spent on Switch. The game is nowhere near what I paid for when I originally bought it. It looks absolutely terrible. At the very least, I'd like the BP I spent.
-
This pig Just now wanted to Kick Gens for the archives. So I sat there tapping the gen, while my team (sadly) did the gens pretty fast. I threw a bunch of pallets for her, and she let me boop her snoot. <3 That pig. Hope you get your challenge.
-
Break FORTY Pallets/Generators/Walls? That's super grindy. Just had a Pig who just sat there asking me to tap a gen so they could get a bunch of them. I also threw a bunch of pallets for them. Hopefully they got a lot of them done in that one game.
Unhook FIFTEEN survivors? Also super grindy.
Hook 10 survivors in the basement? Oh boy. Trapper time I guess.
-
Here's how I'd rework it:
For every totem remaining on the map gain a .5/.75/1% speed boost.
Any survivor who's been hooked at least once becomes broken when injured (Broken overrides Adrenaline)
Any survivor who's been hooked twice becomes exposed and can be killed by the killer's own hand.
-
That's a nice Strawman you're arguing against. What'd he do to you?
-
What do you do if the guy you bodyblock just DC's?
-
Same reason a lot of broken killer add-ons still exist.
-
They subjected us to torture via arguments by the fanbase between Hellraiser and Five Nights at Freddy's, just like a Cenobite would.
-
Nope.
It's one less map in the game (and we haven't been getting many maps recently. plus a lot of maps keep getting disabled.) and I quite liked the aesthetic. It could be a fun map, and I have some fond memories playing there. It was by no means my favorite map, and it was terribly balanced. But it had charm to it that I quite liked.
-
I imagine that other licenses have agreements aren't quite as fragile as this one. It's soured me a bit on Netflix tbh. Especially since BHVR is basically giving everyone a chance to buy it at a significantly reduced cost, probably at their own cost.
-
You're fine.
-
The one question NOBODY is asking:
Will Demo's chase theme remain the same?
-
Also the MOST IMPORTANT question is will Demogorgon's Chase music be changed, or do they get to keep that? Cause that theme is awesome and I will be super sad if that's gone.

I am pretty sure, because it is easy to do. Everything is already programmed, they just need to create 3 new skins: one original killer skin and two original survivor skins.
For the map they just need to change the textures a bit.
I seriously doubt this happens.

Okay, and Crippling Debt would mean that the survivor is not allowed to leave while still borrowing time
And it would be OP on killers like Legion and Deathslinger, who can give deep wounds to survivors at any time.
-
@Nos37 said:
Rename the perk Borrowed Time to Stolen Time, or...
Add a new killer perk: Crippling Debt
The Entity blocks the exits for survivors in the Deep Wound state.
Then we can call it Borrowed Time again.
----
Otherwise, have Borrowed Time require that the killer camps for t seconds before it activates. If the killer doesn't camp all game, but has no choice at the end, then where TF are survivors "borrowing" this time from?
It's 12 seconds of Borrowed Time. They get 12 seconds before you can hit them and down them. That's the time being borrowed. Have you never heard the phrase "You're on borrowed time?" Borrowed time simply means that the inevitable is postponed, giving the survivor time to get to another obstacle (or the exit gate).
-
I think they'll eventually get Friday the 13th. It's just a matter of the lawsuit being wrapped up.
Hopefully we get The Ring one day.
I'd love to see them get Carrie White if not Pennywise from King.
Esther from Orphan is a possibility.
I want Parasite Eve, but it'll never happen.
-
I mean the RE announcement came a LONG time before the anniversary. I mean sure, that's probably more on Capcom's part than BHVR's, but it's not like 4 days is too early.
-
It's an original killer called TVMAN
-
Ran into a Hag yesterday with Undying/Devour. Also silent traps, so that was fun. Did I mention we had a DC?
But yeah, I usually only see it with Devour Hope, Ruin, or Haunted. I think pairing it with Retribution can be good, though.
