And streamers are a big part of the "toxic" problem (they know who they are)
Stop chatting at the end of the match. Its toxic all by itself. Get some perks that make gens hard to complete. Pressure gens. Play wraith. You didn't quit yet, you just needed a break. Come back and play in the morning or late at night. Those killers are too easy.

I like the randomness of the killer grade. I have seen plenty of killers leave the lobby cause they don't want to lose to my (brown empty) toolbox. And yes, I play with my friends that I meet as killer and since I am such a lousy killer, I get friends that hide in the corner and stay in lockers etc. But friends met in solo play are usually the same skill level so it is not that much different than solo. Shame on all survivors using headset communications. that is not fair to the killer at all.

I always look down and avoid the tall grass when the trapper is trapping. My build shows me traps near the hooked person.

I respect your opinion sir. Bubba is not hard to escape from. Wraith is difficult but not impossible. I am not a selfish survivor. I don't use stuff that is intended to leave other survivors dead. Hook eye helps every survivor to coordinate when I am hooked. and I can stay on a gen when I see others going for the save. I can see a camping killer to know if I need to help. Spine chill helps me escape even from stealth killers. Sprint burst helps me get to the next gen fast. and also escape. and BT helps every one keep from getting re hooked easily for those camping killers. So should I just be a boring survivor using dead hard and DS? Every killer expects that stuff. What do you think I should use? Where are your halloween pics? And don't call me bruh, I am a girl. Its Siuhs or something. Why do you think I have a Nintendo... for Animal Crossing of course.😀

Kind of a cop out here. It takes skill to get to red one for anyone. If the killer is bad, then no one gets heal and unhook points and no one advances grade. There has to be plenty of hooking to advance to red. I get killers all the time wearing stuff they bought and they are good. When I see a killer all dressed up, I know it will be a tough match. If the huntress can snipe you across the map, then she is good. Same for the trickster. So didnt you take any halloween screen shots?

I think everyone comes to a point where the match making gives them a harder challenge. On both sides. I feel I will never get to survivor red 3 because I have reached my skill limit. (Ash 3 in killer)

I was the sole survivor against an Oni on grim pantry, while running no mither/this is not happening to get that 4 great skill checks challenge done, impressing the twitch streamer who was also in the round
Ran a grade 1 crossplay Huntress with 41 chases won and 40 stealth.

Because smart players have figured out how to use the box to stick the killer in the middle of a jungle gym, or sometimes even glitch them out (not saying more on this, really don't want it to spread).

Demo and Hag have a really different playstyle that takes dozens of games to really start to understand. Despite being pretty decent, they will probably never be popular.

20 mins to read all ya posts. all agree killers must guard hook and look for people coming to save. No better way currently. I play killer to get money for SWF. So let the killers do what they need to do and let the survivors do the same. Why do you need words like "TUNNEL" and "CAMP" They are just words to complain with. just go play. If you don't have fun, go play Silent Hill again. Killers, maybe you should drop your catch and chase the person behind you. a downed survivor is useless. There are no rules. The rule book is from the parodies on youtube. Game on. Everyone rises to their level of incompetence. And anyway, all you boys are dogs.

Because of the FPS and increased input delay on switch vs other consoles, playing on switch is much harder than any other platform. And yet it's still possible.
You're not a true DBD God until you can beat other people on crossplay with your system sandbagging you the whole time.

I'm not in DBD since it released but since I'm around here, i hear and i see for myself and every single day there is an issue that yet is not being fixed.
I have a bug that people get since 2018 (!) i experience small bugs in the lobby and sometimes during the game that makes me angry. It's not fun and unprofessional when the game has been out for almost 6 years.
Listening to their streamers maybe.

Because they seem like true monsters, I like playing against Spirit, Nurse, Gorgon, Wraith, Oni. Any movie monsters are also fun like Pig, Freddy, Mike meyers, PinHEAD; any movie monster except Billy.
Anyone who uses a HEX because I use Soul Guard. I think they forget when they just leave me on the ground and think I will stay down.
Billy is too fast with his perks. I really like the legion when he wears the bunny suit. (no credit given to Silent Hill 3 for this. Shame devs)
Huntress is fun but seems over powered. Trickster is fun if the player doesnt camp the hook. I didn't like Trickster until I got in a match where two DCs happend. I was allowed to open the gate and leave. Some killers are honorable.
I wont say who I don't like and why until that thread comes up.

How does this sh*t mmr work? All I see is that it literally doesn't work.
I find that the time of day you play affects the match. If I play in the U.S. early in the morning, I get some easy kills. If I play at night, then my survivor rank is getting me hard players I think. Also, it seems if you respond to the "How much fun did you have?" and select only one circle, you will get an easier time next time. I think this question affects your next match.

This problem happens for me in solo play. My friends no longer want a cross platform nintendo person anymore. They just refuse my invites now. (or maybe they are tired of me blowing generators. But they are all boys and they are all dogs)

I use Nintendo so always playing PC . My friend Bluenose can no longer play with me as he ( I think its a he) doesnt show up in the lobby. I find that if I use a halloween lunchbox, the game load is infinite and crashes. So I stopped using that stuff and it works better unless some one else uses it. I have played with 3 witches and seen infinite load. Seems like the more modified maps crash more often.

Even before in red ranks, Nurse wasn't exactly the best killer in fact she was always the worst killer in nearly all the statistics after her rework. No matter how much I want to say it isn't the case it's pretty much simply a chore to play Nurse because you have to be on top of your game every game.
The only reason that Nurse is the best killer is that some players who play Nurse are amazing with her, but even they have rough matches. To stay amazing at Nurse, you need to play Nurse a lot like go a few days from playing and you will be awful when you try playing her again so constant practice.
The Nurse needs desperately to have Qol changes because all this stuff is also paired up with the fact Nurse has 4 decent addons and that's it, the other ones aren't worth running at all I wish they made it so the addons like some of the other killers made Nurse different to play instead of like useless additions and I don't even wanna start about how awful the pink addons are.
Not to mention Nurse has a lot of bugs and I mean a lot, like you cant go one game anymore without at least seeing one bug the most annoying of them all is the blink bug and the cant instantly hit after a blink bug which again I see nearly every game now.
The only reason people want to pretend that Nurse is horrifying to play against always is that they don't want Nurse to be fixed, so they say because a few Nurse mains are good nearly all the time that that's the reason why she doesn't deserve Qol changes and should stay broken.
All I want is some nice changes because it's getting kind of meh playing a buggy broken killer that never gets any positive changes ever. I don't mean to sound so pessimistic, but it kind of is awful to play as Nurse when every game you get broken buggy matches paired with just simply console issues.
(Sorry for the long thing post, but I just really am getting frustrated with the lack of information on whether or not the developers understand that Nurse isn't exactly in a good place right now.)
I have to be on top of my game every time I see the nurse. (or just hear her) I appreciate what you have said.

I really like playing against the Nurse. She is a true monster type. especially in a multi level map. Terrifying.

this morning, Ms. Smurf camped in the basement on a player named something like Sad, so all three of us felt bad for her and ran down there. Yep three hooked and sad escaped. But she came back. and yes, 4 basement hooks. But I said 5 for "did you enjoy the game?"

Basically before 5.2.0, the game used ranks for matchmaking.
Now it uses a hidden value to match people up together based on your skill.
