Humble them?
For what?
For not being able to afford a PC or perhaps not having the money to buy another full set of DLC? Because those are the only reasons people weren't playing in the 'real world' before cross play came into play.
Players adapt to their medium and you want to 'humble' people because they got halfway decent on the platform they had at the time? Oh and i see below you have DECIDED that anybody who turns off crossplay because of FPS issues is lying and just wants easy games?
Wheres your proof? You have the gall to make the statement, so wheres the proof. Not rumor, not your say so, where is the concrete proof that the many, many people who have complained of fps issues and longer que times, are lying? Are the PC killers who have reported how janky console survivors look in their games lying too?
Humble them for being toxic? Did you get tunnel vision to look for points that benefit you while ignoring my main message to humble toxic swfs for being toxic? Are you gunna say console players dont teabag or clicky clicky, cause just look at people talking earlier. People can turn off cross play for fps issues, they shouldnt turn off cross play because they cant adapt to playing against pc killers.

That's...not what I meant. I'm on console, we have instant queues, pc player have long ones (pre-crossplay)
i thought your point was me as a pc player enjoying long queues?

Not trying to say you're wrong but as OP had said many SWF console players didn't care if the console killer could play at all. Even if they did they best with the low FPS they would still bother him and sending a message "LOL, noob. Baby killer" and etcetera. I am not saying every player is a salty one but I do believe it's justice when they did as they pleased on console and now as PC are "better" than them they opt to DC due to how "unfair" It is. Now they didn't care how unfair it was on a console nurse, as an example with the click click and stuff and their toxic behaviour.
Basically my point.

@SoylentPixie said:
So let me get this right. You get cross play, which increases que times and might improve things a bit, and your first response is to purposly rally people to go out and teach people a lesson for daring to make the best of the platform they are on.
To directly quote you on another thread.....
"the things we were talking about was about the pc killer mains making console survivors miserable"
A good portion of console players are opting out due to FPS issues. Keep up this kind of attitude and the players that have decided to stick it out will just not bother. And I'm not talking about you winning or knowing you have an advantage, I'm talking about the general attitude. Because nothing will make console players feel unwelcome more than crap like this thread, making the opt-out button far more desirable.
no its to rid console swfs of their high egos which they undeniably have. If console survivors have to turn off cross play, not because of FPS issues but because of strong killer mains, than that just makes the point that console survivors have grown overconfident and would rather stay in the comfort area of strong, but less common on average ps4 killers rather than actually adapting.

As a console ps4 player, I actually dont have very long queues, good joke though

A strong player is a strong player. It won't matter which platform they are on. I've already seen survivor's bully PC Huntress and Nurse who are good and have seen them playing before.
if a survivor can bully good huntresses then they are not the targets of my humbling, I seek to humble the survivors who have high egos because theyve never faced the true strength of certain killers.

I believe most people learn that two wrongs don't make a right round about the time they left school if not before.
I'm sorry but nothing excuses the attitude in the original post and the ones that follow it up with the 'Hell Yeah!' Attitude.
Should I go onto my game system and start sending killers sexual assault threats, wishes for cancer and their mother dying, because the killers who used to routinely send that to me, a player who never used a meta perk or BM'd a killer, didn't seem to care that it might make my gaming experience less fun?
There is no 'justice' because you have no idea if the player who's life you are making miserable, actually in any way deserves it. So i mean....justify it however you like if it makes you more comfortable, i can't control your actions, but you'll never convince me there is any justice to this childish behavior, and that goes for survivors who taunt their opponents too.
I never once said be toxic back, i said humble them, as in, win against them to show them the real world. Nobody in this thread has said be toxic back
-
@Unicorn said:
Humbled ALL toxic survivors is what this topic should be titled.
Maybe it should, but generally speaking, many console survivors that ive played against are clickers and teabaggers, I dont think I have a single game without one. Dunno bout the pc survivors though.
-
While im here, no im not a PC player, I believe console swfs deserve a reality check, console swfs shouldnt have to never deal with actual powerful killer strategies or at least not deal with them more consistently. Console swfs get big egos because of how they can 360 console killers and therefore deserve humbling, I dont have to be a pc killer to know that killers are better on pc.
-
@Venzhas said:
Wow pc killers have such ego lmfao
Wrong lol, im ps4, everyone in this thread really likes assumptions

Also pc survivors and console survivors can do many of the same things, the things we were talking about was about the pc killer mains making console survivors miserable
-
@Liruliniel said:
As someone who plays on both PS4 and PC. I think your overestimating PC players by a long shot.
Most of my friends so far are unimpressed with the crossplay. They see even more of the less than skilled players. Assuming there all console players is a joke 🤣
The only killers who really get a buff between PC and console are Nurse, Clown, Huntress, Plague, Slinger, and Legion.
Enjoy that superiority complex you got going though.
Those are precisely the killers I mean that will bully survivors, of course there are pepega pc players, but there are also very strong pc players which are on average more than our very strong console players
-
The 2 best killers that help you learn killer that are not only strong but interesting to play with and against are probably the oni and pyramid head. If you want super strong then you could pick up spirit, though I dont recommend it if you dont have a headset. The demogorgon is like an average to strong killer depending on who you ask and also teaches you killer.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
If you're still learning the basics of killer, you should stick to M1 killers. The best one for beginnings imo is Doctor. He's excellent at tracking survivors with his static blast and his madness tiers and his power isn't that hard to learn.
Nah, creates an overreliance on (what I believe) is the best tracking ability in the game.

@immortalls96 said:
Lol I dount it but let's see..I think you discredit console killers too much..they just are unfairly handicapped
They def are handicapped, they also have a far harder time using killers survivors dislike, like deathslinger, huntress, nurse, and even spirit to an extent because pc spirits get to mess around with settings for the optimal experience
-
Mild bait, didnt laugh, the 10 seconds made it obvious
-
the roar is amazing what are you people on about
-
The quicker low rank killers learn the better
-
They might try to “normalize” spirit and deathslinger to a survivors liking,
-
Here come all the survivors that will tell you to not tunnel and that swfs arent common and that map offering should be standard and then they will call you a bad killer cause you considered playing moris.
My advice is its going to be frustrating, but if you can draw out an early DS and eat it, its extremely favorable for you. If you really are confident its a DS, then slug them, but keep an eye out for their unbreakable by staying near them. If they are just blasting gens, its gunna suck and your just gunna have to let the person and their crutch perks go free, because situations such as these are just so heavily in a survivors favor. The best thing is to try to get them to waste those perks.
-
I love the oni aesthetic on anything so oni, but it would be really funny to have clown music around while im just walking around as a stupid clown. Clown and oni I guess
-
Pyramid head being video game representation, springtrap would be cool, and the original videos that sparked the idea, your chase theme being one of them
-
To Win
-
Fix, one might argue that consumers would be dissatisfied from a lack of new content but I think that many people who play dbd will really like the new experience of having a great feeling game. Im pretty sure everyone would give up a few updates for fixing dedicated servers and other stuff

Plague isn’t the least played, I see way less clowns, trappers, pigs, and have never seen a demo dog outside of his release.
At the very least, when kill rates were revealed, plague had the lowest kill rate, though people also really dont play demo, but I do see alot of people who play clown, pig and trapper because of the clown fandom that surrounds him, people play trapper because otz and ill give you that pig is uncommon but thats because shes super boring.

How are pharmacy, leader, or saboteur good? Seems to me like you havent tried them at all and thought they sounded good on paper. Those perks are not good at all in actual gameplay. Leader doesn't even apply to gens so exactly how is is a second pt? Saboteur is only worth in a swf with breakout, and pharmacy is a one time use perk that doesn't even give anything good. Please actually use the perks that you think sound good on paper.
Pharmacy is good in specific builds, and leader applies to everything that isnt gen, while prove thyself is gens, doing things good id fast, I already said saboteur is situational for myself

I don't agree with all your inclusions. But there are a lot of solid perks that people don't use. Detective's Hunch is extremely underrated. Alert is also a solid choice. Botany, Inner Strength, and Leader are all great as well.
I can see why people dont like a few of these things such as saboteur, distortion and maybe soul guard.
-
I just think the add on rework is highly needed, I know that cooldowns are highly unfun and I actually agree with that, but in nurses case its justified because she is so strong at high level. And hey maybe her add ons will help her with that cooldown who knows
-
You guys seem to misunderstand the purpose of this post, its to call out survivors who say all survivor perks except the common ones are bad. It is also to give survivors examples of all these perks and potential perk builds, instead of running the same perks every game as survivor. It doesnt have to be the same stealth claudette builds or the same chase second chance builds every game. Maybe those builds are better but there are more builds to use
-

Let me dismantle every perk on that list as someone who doesn't play survivor often yet still maintains red ranks (somehow):
Alert: You don't need to know where the killer is unless they're coming for you, and if you do want to know OoO or Spine Chill exist.
Autodidact: Good luck getting stacks before the match is over. Plague exists.
Botany: Plague exists.
Dance with Me: Not as effective as you might think. Only decent with Lithe, even then, questionable since it's easy to maintain LoS on a survivor in most circumstances.
Dark Sense: Again, OoO/Spine Chill.
Detective's Hunch: Unless you've been dealing with a bunch of NOED users, not necessary. Maps with range add-ons do its job fine.
Distortion: Tokens can be burned fast depending on the killer/build, lockers work just as well against BBQ. Besides, it's basically aura sandbagging.
For the People: Fun...when you can actually find a time to use the damn thing.
Inner Strength: A medkit does just as well. Cleansing totems takes time and isn't guaranteed depending on teammates' actions. Plague. It is good, but not necessary.
Leader: It doesn't work on gens anymore so meh.
Pharmacy: Only if I want green medkits. But...teammates, dying, Plague, etc.
Saboteur: Wow, let me just go out of my way, off this gen to sabo this hook and save my- oh there's another hook and they come back too quickly. And the killer was too far away because I wasn't chasing them around waiting for my teammate to die, being useless (which I would've brought a flashlight for anyway). RIP.
We'll Make It: Let me heal you teammate let me heal you I have WMI the killer won't be able to reach us in time please for the love of god don't leave me I already lost my dad please. Plus campers. Plague.
Soul Guard: It's all too rare for a killer to slug in my games, and when they do, they usually leave me because they think I have DS.
You seeing the problem here? All of those perks have situations in where they're made functionally useless, and some of them you're giving too much credit for. The meta is as it is because those perks see value in every single game regardless of killer and regardless of build. It's not good enough for things to be strong in this game, they have to be strong and consistent. Especially when every other killer is a Spirit with a slowdown build in red ranks.
Plague is literally the least played killer in the game and also yes, perks shouldnt just give immense value every game.

It is when 95% of killer perks are garbage, and 90% of survivor perks are garbage by comparison to the few good ones.
This whole post was about saying all these strong perks for survs, I do kind of agree killer perks arent very strong though.
-
What rank were they, ive seen on the low rank survivor experience vs low rank killer, everyone tunnels and camps in low ranks
-
Pick deathslinger to piss off the ######### survs
-
i like how ggs sound and i play fighting games where you do play multiple games in a set so saying ggs is commonplace
-
I thought it was like tech to go pallet stun into flashlight stun since you would get more time to escape
-
eh this is fine, though I feel like its impossible to prevent body blocking
-
Small QoL is all he really needs imo, hes decently strong, i just think reeling in is incredibly janky, reload is abit too slow, an add on that gives him more shots would be cool
-
The moment that happens survivors lose most talking points where they say swfs arent all that common and that survivors dont all run the same perks. Just a peek of those statistics would be enlightening.

But Mori's are brought in at the beginning, how can you determine the next match will be why you had a bad day on from the next Match being Not sweaty SWFs? That seems like taking out frustrations on innocent bystanders
If your having a bad day because the sweaty swfs all day, chances are once your in red ranks its all swfs bayybeee, its not like im gunna find some innocent team that has done no wrong, 99.9 percent of the time its gunna be 4 survivors with near identical builds, using all the same sweat as all the other survs. Only mildly non sweaty thing ive seen in my time in red ranks is for the people, im not even remotely worried about some survivor who is running a fun build
-
I dont even bother with moris unless im having a bad day, bloodpoints get cut so hard im lucky to get even a brutal when I use one.
-
I love fate but thats incorrect, it would be caster (fate zero) or berserker (fate zero), cant think of any servants from UBM.
-
Like as characters, I think tapp is pretty cool, I also like feng because gamer girl and all that, and dislike, just prepare for everyone to say claud.

I have no clue on how you can't get a simple joke, you transformed my joke post into a bait post without my knowledge.
I don't get how you can take seriously a post that suggests the Metro Golden Mayers thing, the RBTs activating on Totems, complaining about the mask add-on for the love of God.
I am kind of a Pig main and I was just making a joke, a JOKE. I wanted to make you laugh, not angry. I had the most stupid suggestions that I could think of to make it funny but not blatantly trolly. Because that would kill the comedy in it in my opinion, just like a "/S" at the end.
I wrote it this moring in 15 minutes, victim of my own anxiety due to a medical appointment I had later. I needed some kind of distraction and I had the ideas for this kind of joke-post.
I'm sorry if I made you felt insulted or disrespected, it was meant to be a simple obvious joke, taking the piss on all the complaints there have been recently and on all the misuses of words like "to react" or "counterplay" I've read. Not a bait attempt.
It's not a Billy post, I couldn't care less about Billy, but you made me realize I should've added something like a cooldown on the Ambush Attack, something like "her throat gets too dry after an ambush so she needs to grab a water bottle in a locker" just to make it more obvious.
I'm especially sorry for the Scorpionz part because I think it was a bad decision to use his name in my joke. I don't know.
Have a nice day and, again, I'm sorry.
If you really werent trolling, you have literally the best survivor impression ive ever seen, we all got got, good work.

Will you also ask for nerfs to worse killers than Amanda? Let's nerf Clown and Doc bois.
Imo doctor is several tiers above amanda
-
Plague and anybody, especially plague oni, plague is such an enabler in this mode. Legion is also pretty good but were definitely overselling him. Legion still has to get his hits and if the build is Legion plus another chase killer theres nothing actually helping legion gain his win condition. Also your still playing legion who is a lackluster killer. We havent mentioned demogorgon, but demogorgon has like top tier map presence behind like freddy. Demogorgon can definitely be an overall solid pic, doesnt enable other killers but provides stability in portals and tracking. I want to say hag is strong cause she can farm hits but because of how big maps would be she loses some strength. Oni is probably one of the strongest killers when enabled in this game. For highly skilled players it could be just “tracking killer and nurse” where nurse just destroys everything on sight.
-
Theres nothing wrong with the varied styles, they all go about zoning in different ways
-
Wheres the 4k with shadowborn on deathslinger?
also who hurt you.
-
Ok so im basically a now retired legion main, I love the killer but I hate playing him at red ranks. All the builds are equally viable on legion @BoostedKateMain you are an enlightened brain genius/ memer for shadowborn.
My personal build is: Blood echo, thanatophobia, nurses, pop, nurses is sometimes switched out for monitor, tremors, sloppy butcher, and im all ears.
In my opinion Blood echo is basically needed. Alot of other things are interchangeable
