@BunnyTheHutt - Valid reasons not to tunnel off the hook:
1) Borrowed Time
2) Decisive Strike
3) Choice of escape route. Go for the healthy survivor that runs into the open over the injured survivor that runs to a jungle gym
4) It might cause them to DC (Not necessarily a bad thing - it depends on how your game is going)
However, survivor rules should not be taken into consideration.

tehshadowman33 - Coincidentally I suggested the same in another thread. Ash was versing Skeletons in Army of Darkness and they were very cool. It's not too late to add an Evil Dead Skeleton Killer for Ash devs!

More reasons to play PS4 version:
* Big screen
* Comfy chair
* Less likely to get abuse from chat
* Nobody can change their graphics settings to see the red stain easier
* Other family members can easily watch
* Nurse is worse than The Legion
Frame-rate sucks on non-Pro consoles though.

I found Urban Evasion really useful when starting out as you'll probably want to play stealthily until you get comfortable in chases. Stop running when you lose line of sight and try to urban evade away possibly running back over your own scratchmarks first.
I would also recommend spine chill to give yourself time to get away when the killer is heading in your direction. You can also use it to see if the chasing killer is trying to cut you off in maps like the meat plant when your line of sight is lost (spine chill turns off)

It's a problem because I never remember where I've put them and if I put one at a jungle gym, I'm not going to see it until one of us (usually me) runs into it. I don't remember the auras disappearing in earlier patches. I don't even know if it is a bug.

When the killer approaches you, point to the locker containing your friend. When the killer pulls them out, teabag then DC.

Well I thought I would be playing Pro Evolution "Soccer" for free as part of Playstation Plus but apparently America objected and it got pulled.

I really enjoy playing as current Freddy. It's difficult but great fun. I'll miss him when he's gone.
I despise playing against Hillybilly because I play solo and the entire team usually gets slugged. At least I can take some confort knowing that Hillbillies won't pip with this strategy.

Then I would personally keep putting points into Myers until the point where there are no more perks left (otherwise it would feel like a waste). Then find the killer who has any perks you like the sound of for Myers and level them up.
Also, the next time a new killer comes out with a perk you want, you will be able to get it on Myers quickly.

SWFs that play party streamers, genrush and then hide every time I get near.
If I don't get to chase anyone, you've wasted your streamers!

I believe the theory is that if you kill everyone quickly then BHVR think you were versing easy survivors and don't deserve a pip.
I don't agree with this system because if I play survivor, I don't want to be playing really good Hillbillys that are struggling to get to the rank they deserve to be at.

I want the old Freddy to be kept but to be the Robert Englund Freddy. The new nerfed Freddy can be the rubbish newer one.
There's a whole load of strategy to Freddy that will be lost forever.

PS4 is just as competitive but if you have the game on two platforms, the more neglected of the two will give you more chilled games because you will probably stay around the lower ranks.

Zero on survivors but I have about 10 on all the killers because I didn't want anyone to feel left out.
Oh except Legion. They are dead to me now.

I do it the other way round. When Mrs JawsIsTheNextKiller is hogging DBD on the PS4, I can play on PC. I'm usually rank 20 on PC though so games are far more casual.
I'm sure I read somewhere that BHVR were thinking about letting you share your DBD account on different platforms which would be nice. You'd still have to repurchase your DLC but you wouldn't have to redo billions of bloodpoints worth of bloodwebs.

I would encourage you not to pollute your bloodwebs with bad teachables though. I will not pick Hangman's Trick even though it means I get a choice of 1 perk on each of Pig's bloodwebs.

I was levelling up the bloodweb for Spirit and on one side of the Bloodweb was level 3 Brutal Strength (which I wanted) and on the other was Coulrophobia (which I didn't). Not only that, If I chose Brutal Strength the Entity would have been forced to eat almost half of the entire bloodweb andI would get a Gateau and a Survivor Pudding.
So I started making my way to Coulrophobia and as soon as I picked it I realised, "What have I done? My brain just ######### T-bagged me and DC'd!")
I still don't have level 3 Brutal Strength but at least survivors in my terror radius have a 30% penalty to healing now. 😫

I really hope we don't lose our playerbase to Deathgarden. I'm not a BHVR fan, I'm a DBD fan. I don't WANT DeathGarden to fail but if it did, they could focus more of their attention on DBD.

I'm so gonna miss old Freddy. Yes he needed some numbers tweaking but removing him and replacing him with something that isn't the Freddy we know is extreme.
Let us have BOTH Freddies - One can be Robert Englund and one can be that other guy.

Discourage the DC in the first place: Remove the double-depip (because some like easier games), give them a time-out where they cannot join a game for a bit and most importantly, subtract bloodpoints.
You'll soon find the DC rate drops.

It is dumb, it should be matched against the high rank as swf is already an advantage. You do right to look out for the decoy but don't forget to tunnel their friends to punish them for unsportsmanlike behaviour.

A bit like perk roulette but in game. It would be cool.
I liked RUSSIAN perk roulette before the recent patch. If you spun Wake Up you risked getting banned. Great fun!

When starting out I found it easier to play survivor to get used to the game and see how killers play then I started putting points into my killer of choice (The Cannibal for BBQ) but without actually playing as him.
Once I had some usable perks then I started to ease myself into playing killer a little bit.
There ARE really good players below rank 15 even in mid/late season. Sometimes after bad games against lesser-rank players I check their trophy list. I see achievements for 100 24 metre hatchet throws, grabbing people off gens with a 3 blink nurse and some with platinums.

There already is a small penalty for dodging. a 3 minute wait to pretend to form a lobby, even though it usually gets formed empty.
Give more bloodpoints for versing SWF and:
* SWFs will be happier because they get to play more than 1 game per hour
* killers who like playing SWF can enjoy their extra bloodpoints
* non-masochistic killers can play games balanced as originally intended.
Everybody wins.

If you want to do well against swf, you need to know in advance. Since it is less obvious whether survivors appearing in the lobby together are swf or not, it is difficult to choose the most suitable loadout.
I wouldn't want to bring in a fun Clown build to face a hardcore try-hard swf squad just like I wouldn't want to bring all my best addons and an ebony mori against 4 solos. Both scenarios result in non-fun games.

I agree with all of this. I have reluctantly stopped using it because it simply isn't reliable enough. I also manage to get myself bodyblocked sometimes using this perk which is especially embarrassing as the the killer just looks at me, thinking "what on earth are you trying to do?".
It's a fun perk, let us use it!

Old DS, old MOM and NoEd are all unfun perks that either give free escapes or free kills.
Since DS and MOM have both been nerfed, I think a NoEd nerf would balance the scales. Boosted NoEd Killers will have to learn to be better killers, and survivors should be more likely to attempt to rescue me instead of escaping and leaving me one-hooked even though I did almost all the ######### gens and rescued two of you bastards from the basement.
