So what does making everyone rank 20 have to do with it lol. It's grade, it doesn't matter what you are since it has nothing to do with any survivors skill for matchmaking
Thats what they want you to think.

SBMM made me change my win condition to having 4BBQ stack and letting everyone leave.
This way I have chill games and good amount of points.
Tunelling to climb mmr, I dont see the point. Dbd is a party game, not a competitive one.
-
Spirit and DC in the same sentence.
Yeah, pretty usual.
-
Sluzzy legacy
-
"The mmr system will adjust with some time"
No. It's fooked up. It was working pretty well on the last iteration.
But this one doesnt make any sense.
-
Yes.

@Mooks said:
Well then SBMM might actually help balancing the game because the statistics will also represent these imbalances etc.
High hopes in the company, you have.
-
I guess thats a mentality more than anything. I never play with slowdown perks and thats fun. Just playing for some chases.

then why SBMM? it's casual and not competitive
To protect new players.
Simple.
-
And those are the ones you've caught.
Now imagine all the ones that are using cheats sneakily.
-
You need to whiff. Have long chase but let survivors escape. Use your power but fail it.
Go in the mind of a new player. Camp hooks. Hit on hook. Dont afk once you got your BBq stacks.
You'll derank your MMR.
-
You do you mate.
But yeah, tunnelling will probably make you win and climb MMR to finally... Taste your own medicine by facing sweatsquad that know how to handle it.
-
You make a good point saying the game isnt balanced at high level.
Maybe mmr will help them to do so but... Will they ?
Imo DbD is not calibered as a competitive game, and this whole thing of an Mmr is here to protect new players.
-
None.
MMR protects new players, thats it.
-
I'd be worried about the future of this game.

Have you ever considered that maybe you are actually bad? Like, not meant in an insulting way because everyone ways has room to improve, but if you find yourself being crushed this often then maybe you actually are just... Not playing where you should be. Exacerbated by BHVR thinking SBMM actually functioned and decided to make it permanent.
Being good or bad is not the point of OP's opinion/observations I think.

shadowborn is a perk though. stretched res is straight up cheating.
Yeah, thats what I say.
Maybe if Shadowborn is bugged is because they are working on the whole Field of View system.
-
They probably working against stretched res.
-
If a game crashing on a regular basis due to this killer is normal to you, then I'd say you have pretty low standards for video games.
-
It tooks 1.5 months for Nemesis (and the game in general) to be kind of playable on consoles.
Have fun.
-
You opened the box, he cant come anymore.
-
Hags over-protect their totems.
-
They kill a part of the playerbase for the good of the majority.
We ll see how it goes.
-
Always 5 stars when someone DC, and thumbs up on the DC'er.
-
Thanks for nerf suggestion :'D
-
You're complaining.
I came.
-
For what it does I guess its fine.
-
I've not seen a single complaint yet, and streamer not playing him much.
Usually thats a sign of weakness, but I guess we'll see.
I doubt we gonna have "PinHead OP". More like "PinHead boring".
-
He's gonna be abused. Even if the cube is a good idea, I just think its gonna be abused by competent survivors that will use this tool to relocate the killer.
Feels weak to me.
-
I'm pretty sure the PTB is just a bait.
It's gonna be FNAF on official release.
-
Where is your NOED now.
-
Dont worry. People will sell accounts with Demo unlocked for 50 bucks.
-
Transparency is not a thing here.
-
Or maybe thats a marketting move to renew license after season 4 and milk players even more.
I doubt it, but honestly, that wouldnt surprise me.
-
Celebrating Haddonfield's grave.
-
Lol.
Someone hasnt played before EGC was a thing.
Push them out.

I will just never get this mentality.
"I don't like them, so who cares if they're taken from someone else. Let content that I don't personally enjoy be stripped from the game willy-nilly, there's nothing wrong with that".
Dont take that personally mate, it's just my opinion saying I dont find enjoyment with the content of this chapter. Nothing more.
-
Honestly, wouldnt be a big loss. Michael is outdated and Haddonfield... Still exists.

not really. A map is textures etc after all.
Hawkins could easily be turned into a music studio/music venue, giving trickster his own map
True that, could work.

After legacy skins...
Welcome to legacy perks such as Inner strenght.

@CrowVortex said:
They'll probably redesign it and rename it. As the character's are staying, just not purchasable within the store after that date.
Risky move toward licensed stuff.
-
My bet is the contract is set over a period of time.
Renewing it might... Be more expensive than the initial one.
Or maybe Netflix doesnt want its license to be milked anymore since they work on their own Stranger Things asymetrical game ? ;0
-
YES. Cant wait til RPD is gone too !!

A Killer DCing vs a Survivor DCing are fundamentally different things. When you're playing survivor, you have a quick way to get out of a frustrating match where your team is made of potatoes: You let yourself die on first hook, and then boom, you don't have to deal with the frustration anymore. A killer doesn't have the same option: If he's getting his butt kicked by all four survivors, he has no control on how long the match will last nor how long he has to stay in the same game without DCing. Furthermore, a survivor who DCs penalizes the whole team for the rest of the game, whereas a killer DC just means the survivors get easy bloodpoints and the ability to instantly requeue into a new lobby.
I can understand the idea of "tough it out" if you're getting bodied in a PVP game, but ultimately, a survivor getting tunnelled off of hook has to deal with maybe 3 or 4 minutes of frustration, where as a killer's entire game can be frustrating. And at the end of the day, isn't the point of playing a game to have fun? Survivors have a quick out of matches they're being stomped in- killers should too, without penalty.
Wair at the doors, thats gonna be quick.
DC as killer is the same than survivors : it's an over reaction over frustration.
