No! As much as I hate indoor maps, Hawkins wasn’t that bad.
I wonder why this is happening. Did Behaviour piss off the License holder? Are they not happy with something about the game, like all the bugs and poor optimization that console has?

My bet is the contract is set over a period of time.
Renewing it might... Be more expensive than the initial one.
Or maybe Netflix doesnt want its license to be milked anymore since they work on their own Stranger Things asymetrical game ? ;0
They'll probably redesign it and rename it. As the character's are staying, just not purchasable within the store after that date.

Most likely expiring contract. Believe Smite has a recent stranger things thing going on, so i doubt it's the latter.

Hawkins could easily be turned into a music studio/music venue, giving trickster his own map
i litterly see no reason they cant keep the map... if they can keep the characters. i guess for needed updates in the future. gosh they better give us a map in return
I preferred Hawkins to Midwich and definitely more so than rpd. I will be sad to lose it but life, and the game, goes on. Can't wait for the resident evil licence to run out so rpd disappears forever too.

Narrow but not too narrow corridors to reduce survivor strifing, while still allowing them to dodge behind obstacles/into rooms

I doubt Behaviour did anything to piss them off, it’s most likely Netflix wanting more money. I’d be surprised if they care about performance, they just have a new season of Stranger Things coming so they want to milk their IP before it inevitably ends or loses popularity.

Depends on what agreement they have and how many people buy ST content in DBD.
Remember, Stranger Things also has cosmetics in games like Fortnite, and the money a game like that rakes in will dwarf what DBD makes.
