honestly game felt alot better before dedicated servers. What I don't understand is how people can fly around at mach speed and the game doesn't detect that, seems like a pretty simple thing. are they moving faster than default survivor speed, are any of the 10 perks that effect speed active. then the game boots them.
I thought about this several times
I don't have any idea of programming, but is really that hard to implement a script in the servers to detect if one player is moving too fast in the map coordinates, repairing a generator too quickly or using perks he hasn't equiped? Seeing this from outside doesn't seems to be that hard.
-
Engravings basekit.
-
Imagine using Balanced Landing and Dead Hard at same time.
-
I hope they change the animation of healing mates. It's look like a massage.
-
I don't have main, but one of my favorite killers is the Trapper and I hate facing him.
The plague is my favorite killer (and the most played), I don't hate facing her but I don't like very much either.
-
I think the main problem with the BP gain are the survivors. All the score events should be buffed except Objetives ones imo.
Even the worst farming killers earn more BP than survivors easily.
-
Idiots using purple flashlights, Dead Hards, Iron Will and Proof Thyself + BNPs complaining because the killer is using NOED. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The only one who said nothing was the guy without flashlight, Dead Hard or BNPs + Proof Thyself (considering the lenght of the nicknames). Kudos for that guy despite using CoH.
-
Trapper, Hag, Ghostface, Huntress, Nurse, Bubba.
-
I miss the hamster jumping in the cage of the top floor (only).
-
Prove Thyself = Need nerfs, the generators are fast already, and this combined with toolboxes is ridiculous. Maybe 10% bonus only.
Sprint Burst = Fine perk, does not need change. (agree)
Adrenaline = Fine perk, does not need change.
Iron Will = Too strong against M1 killers in structures. Almost nullify one killer power (Spirit) but I have no idea on how to nerf it.
Decisive Strike = Fine perk, does not need change.(agree)
Borrowed Time = This perk is good but they should make something for bodyblock. Except this, good perk. (Agree, the perk is intented for avoiding a tunnel, not for protecting the team mate after an unhook).
Unbreakable = Fine perk, does not need change. (agree, a counter against slugging).
Dead Hard = The most busted survivor perk in the game currently, too polivalent/versatile (gaining distance for reaching windows/pallets, avoiding a hit and can also be used to reach you for a pallet/flash save, that last thing is not frequent but when it happen make you want to DC) also only 40 seconds cooldown.
Vigil = Fine.
Windows of Opportunity = Fine.
Head On = Not OP but very annoying, in fact it's mostly used by bully squads.
Built to Last = Fine.
Boon: Circle of Healing = The second most busted survivor perk after Dead Hard, need more nerfs (token system with 3 tokens and the same healing speed as self care).
-
Thrill of the Hunt and Plaything.
But both are poor counters.
-
Alchemist's ring only.
In fact I think it is the most busted addon in the entire game.
-
50% + a token system and it would be balanced.

The "us vs them" is something natural and some people complain and are tired about that.
What kind of discussion do the people expect considering that the game have two sides and most of the players are maining one of those sides? The 50%-50% players are rare.
-
A vast amount of breaks.
I'm playing since september 2018 and I have 1284 hours so you can figure.
-
No.
Killers with more intricate chase powers like Pinhead cannot be judged early, but an M1 without chase potential can be judged with just a few matches. In fact popular streamers with huge amounts of hours and experience say that Sakado is weak.
-
The morale in the current days is quite weird.
It's okay to have gory moments and hanging survivors in hooks while they scream in pain but mentioning that Sadako have testicles in her lore is too alarming.
-
Considering that BHVR release one or two Feng Ming outfits every month that cosmetic will come eventually when they run out of ideas about pijamas and e-sports stuff.
-
That match wasn't as miserable as I thought. My solo games ar way worse than that.
The DCd one seems that she has lost her connection, not the typical rage DC when downed.
The first down happen at the same time the first gen is done, in a lot of my matches the first down happen before a gen is done.
Only one gen remaining when you die despite one person lost her connection, a lot of my solo games end with 2-3 gens remaining.
That's not a DBD solo experience at its finnest.

This reminds me of Blight's PTB. Everyone said he was garbage, but then he turned out to be a top tier killer xd
Because Blight was garbage in the PTB, his hitboxes were messed up and required more than a patch to fix that and playing him without colliding with non-existent objects.
-
It isn't necessary to try her 10 hours to realize that he have a poor chase potential. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Some killers with more intrincate chase powers like Pinhead can't be judged by very few hours, in fact Pinhead was considered weak at first and that was wrong, but that's not the case of Sadako.
-
It's one of the best additions to the game ever realeased imo. However they have some drawbacks, some tome missions force you to play bad and the rift free users are not very well treated, too many empty levels, usually series of two/three empty levels, but sometimes there are series of 7 empty levels and this sucks. I know the premium users have to have better rewards, but this is a joke for the free ones, we are dedicated players who usually pay DLCs (at least in my case, I buy all the licensed killers). I'm not even asking for Iridiscent Shards in that empty levels but at least some BP? 15.000-20.000, I'm not even asking for big rewards.
-
With a low mobility M1 killer playing without slowdown is a lost game unless you're playing against bad survivors, and low mobility ones with good chase potential or good powers (Nemesis, Artist, Plague, Pyramid Head, Pinhead and Bubba mostly) will have a hard time without slowdowns but still can win (sometimes).
I tried sometimes with M1 killers and when you achieve the third hook there are only 2 generators remaining usually, or 3 generators remaining with one of them quite advanced in progression. The only more or less viable build without regression is one with a lot of information perks (aura reading and perks like Discordance, Tinkerer, Surveillance,...) and it doesn't work most of the times specially if you're playing a bad map for killers.
-
Weak.
Poor chase potential. She's like a combination of Freddy+Wraith.
At least she has two good perks, an inverse BBQ in the Scourge Hook which lasts 7 seconds and a one-gen Ruin with cooldown.

''Three Gen Situation'' should be nerfed because solo survivors can three gen themselves without even realizing it. And there is nothing you can do about it because you cant control their actions. They should increase the distance betweeen gens.
You can in most situations.
Just go to the other side of the map when you finish a gen instead of going to the nearest one like a lot of survivors tend to do or go to the other side of the map if you see two survivors doing gens in one side of the map. You can do this playing solo.
-
Most of my 3 gen are not intentional except when playing Trapper or Hag or playing in Azarov's resting place/Suffocation Pit.
Anyway the survivors a lot of time 3 gen themselves by doing the gens in only one side of the map, funny enought it usually happen when playing against the most genrusher ones so it's like poetic justice.
-
For me is Legion by far.
A lot of people say Myers and Ghostface, but they have instadown and Playing with Your Food is surprisingly good perk in them, even Fire Up in the case of Myers, but Legion don't have any good synergy with perks. Other people have said Trapper, but at least Trapper have the possibility of ending a chase quickly if the survivor step on a trap.
The only good thing of Legion is they have a guaranteed free hit, but aside that they're simple M1 killer easily loopable and playing safe you can ruin them. Also the CoH meta indirectly nerfed them.
-
I'm glad, better if her would be disabled forever, a lot of killers perks can't be buffed just because they would be too strong in Nurse and Blight and they're two killers I don't play. xD
-
Trickster by far.
In fact is the only menu theme I listened in youtube sometimes just for fun, not only ingame.
-
At least you now have the demogorgon perks for free with one slowdown (Jolt) and an anti-exhaustion (Fearmonger) it used to be worse. But yes, most of the free killer perks aged way worse than survivor ones, with survivors you have Self-care, two good exhaustion perks (Dead Hard and Sprint Burst), Borrowed Time, Proof Thyself, and Spine Chill. In the case of killers the Wraith and Huntress ones are trash, Trapper and Hillbilly ones are only good when combined with locked perks mainly and Nurse ones are worse than used to be (CoH Meta).
-
Xenomorph and I also think he is the most possible non-humanoid killer to be released.
-
He have one of the worst earlies of all the killers, that's his main weakness. If a Nemesis don't achieve Tier 2 quickly he will lose unless the survivors are bad. The main counter against him is playing safe at the start (predroping pallets and going to strong structures) when he cannot destroy pallets and breakable walls with the tentacle. Also he is not very good in short loops because he is forced to M1 due the survivors turning in the corners before you can load an hit with the tentacle.
-
Because she is boring and playing scummy is the correct way of playing her. The same thing happens with Twins.
-
Are there reallly people asking for nerfs for not abusing this?
Are you aware that the chances of that happening are very low?
In most cases you will kill one or two survivors at best by doing that and in a lot of matches the 4 survivors will remove their traps before reaching the box you're blocking and you will lose the match almost for sure due the time wasted blocking the box and not having traps for pressuring them.
-
The Dwight thing is also applicable to Bill.
The more cute is the Feng Min outfit she is worse player, the pijamas ones usually get downed in 30 seconds or so.
Aces are usually good players.
David players are cocky.
-
Freddy by faaaaaar.
-
Nice.
-
Immersed Claudette>Shinobi
-
That map is one of the maps in which Boil Over is strong, not only because there are many obstacles but also because there are a lot of walls and the killer don't have a direct sight of the hooks and can potentially fail a hook. Show the entire match, how many times did the killer fail to hook you? He was taking revenge.
-
Before having the butterfly skin with Plague I used to wear the dark+golden recolor of the default outfit, in my opinion that was better than any other expensive Plague skin.

Tinkerer is broken too, and "overused" on Blight. So to say killer perks are nerfed when overused is the opposite of the truth. BBQ is overused and not nerfed. They may have changed Ruin because new players could not hit the skillchecks but it really wasn't that it was overused, but they either intentionally or inadvertently made the perk much stronger. Take a Blight that is all over the map, bouncing constantly and removing people from gens. It's common for Blight to constantly keep or two survivors on the hook - how can anyone find the totem?
Tinkerer can be countered with Spine Chill, which also counter stealthy killers.
BBQ is overused because it can potentially reduce the grind to half, not because it's OP, anyway, if this perk bother you a lot, you can equip Distortion.
-
I don't like none of the Swamp maps, they aged bad.
Fortunately they are going to be reworked this year maybe. The next is Haddonfield and after Haddonfield the only two remaining realms are Swamp and Red Forest.
-
The lullaby isn't bad.
The bad thing of that skin is the killer sounds like she's sneezing when throwing hatchets, it's kinda ridiculous.

So basically, I have to sacrifice half of my perk slots on the possibility my opponents might be running a perk and map offering that lets them become literally unhookable otherwise?
RPD's not the only one, either. Eyrie, Asylum, Badham, and Dead Dawg all have trouble spots. It gets much worse when you add oak, sabo, and bodyblocking into the picture.
I don't need Detective's Hunch to counter NOED - I can learn where totem spots are all on my own. I don't need Prove Thyself to counter Ruin/Tinkerer. I need Agi/Iron Grasp to counter Boil Over.
The second floor of Ormond's Mansion too.
-
Legion, Twins, Oni and Wraith imo.
-
Pig and Legion.
I can't decide who is worse but both are the lowest tier. They don't have help in chases.
Myers don't have help in chases but at least he have an instadown, small terror radious and broken addons, Ghostface almost the same as Myers but with undetectable, Freddy at least have some kind of stealth and map control, Trapper can catch a survivor in seconds if the survivor go to a trapped loop or building, so definitely the worst are Pig and Legion. Legion have a free hit but you can't down using the power, the rest of the time he is an M1. The only help in chases for Pig may be the Ambush, but it's a trash because it's not intended for been used in that way (well with the recent buff for her ambush addon she's a bit better), the RBTs are inconsistents because you need to down survivors to make them work and because the RNG.
-
Too many people wanting to abuse Boil Over.
-
I don't like it. I don't pay premium and none of the free skins in de upper part belong to any character I use, the charms are trash as always and too many empty levels. After the top tier Plague skin and the nice Feng skin of the past Rift it would have been too lucky to have another good Rift I guess, haha.

Again, you get triggered because you can't deal with DH the way that other players can.
It's honestly amusing that I make one comment and you act as if it directed at you.
You're angry because nobody agree you with the state of dead hard, don't pretend to convince me you're amused.

I mean if the shoe fits. Sorry but not all of us who play killer have a bad time with DH.
You play killer 1 hour every 6 months.
