Don’t worry about playing nice or mean. Just play in a way that you think is fun for yourself. It’s up to the devs to make sure the game is fun for both sides, not us.
People will whine no matter what you do, ignore it and you do you.

Because they still need to release his French Maid outfit first.

Not attractive enough to make me want to purchase her.

Tbh I'd rather they fix the problems with the kits and have every killer have terrible addons than have terrible kits with mandatory addons to fix the glaring holes
Just as long as they don’t hurt my Myers Scratched Mirror build. It’s really the only killer I have fun playing. I just wish there was a way to increase Lery’s offerings because all I have are The Game and it’s hard to spook good survivors on it.
-
Well, it makes sense that it does wake them up since it is a source of energy that stimulates people.
Adrenaline isn’t the problem, it’s the lack of creativity and lack of “fun” with his power. He’s needs another overhaul but it seems like the devs are already stretched thin.

It's really concerning. You'd hope for the devs to have a better feel and anticipation for fun gameplay this far into the game's lifecycle.
Regardless of that though, I think you should always be designing to reward skilled play in a PVP game, and Knight/SM do the exact opposite of that.
I've seen ironic Knight montages on youtube where the killer deploys a guard and literally stands still as the survivor is downed. Peak skill. Incredible gameplay. Definitely what we should be going for in a PVP game.
And Skull Merchant is similarly concerning. I really dislike the changes she's getting with haste and pallet breaking. She turns into an unga bunga free M1 hit killer who can hold W with zero mindgames. Again, never what we should be going for in this game.
Wesker is one of the best designed killers in the game. A fairly complex power that is more difficult to land against better survivors. But there are techniques and plays you can make to beat good players. There is actual skill expression for both sides, and the better player will win. The AI doesn't win. You can't just hold W with free bloodlust and have a pallet automatically break.
They’re running out of ideas. The current game engine probably doesn’t allow for much and we’ve basically hit what it would allow. Anything fun and unique is probably being held back for licensed killers.
Theres only so many killer powers and abilities that they could come up with. It’s really time they go to two chapters a year and focus on game health and meta shake up. Maybe introduce new gameplay mechanics and more interactive maps.

hes already pretty strong on chase, i dont think he needs any changes outside of an addon pass, cause his addons suck almost as badly has Executioner's
I don't think the OP cares about balance and that this thread is more for fun. You could also think of it as "If Tentacle Daddy didn't have Zombies, what would be his secondary ability?".
-
Just use Plunderers or that perk that guarantees a Med-kit out of a chest. I have about 300 of each kit doing that. Better than waiting on improvements to the blood-web that'll take another 3-4 years to be implemented.
-
Sure, just be prepared for “Hex: Eternal Lobbies” for when killers quit the game.

Kind of. And at a low level level this does happen more frequently to killers. But a good killer is going to build around tunneling counters if they intend to tunnel. I'm not going to hard tunnel a good player if I don't have a way to deal with body blocks and whatnot. That's a bot move. But I'll run Sloppy or Forced Penance on more tunnel-prone killers to turn the tunneling counters into downsides for the survivors.
You're correct, but at the same time, if the survivor is good, they'd have wasted plenty of your time to have multiple gens done in the first chase. Then it would just be a matter of their team finishing gens or wasting time trying to protect their tunneled teammate.
While I agree that being on the receiving end, tunneling isn't fun for inexperienced players, it's not something that needs to be remedied. The game already has plenty that it equips teams to deal with it and just as killers are told to "git gud" and that they're not entitled to a 4k, the same should be applied to survivors and that they shouldn't expect to survive every round either.
-
The downside to tunneling reveals itself when you go against a good looper with good teammates. The only people who have problems with tunneling are people who don't know how to waste the killers time.
-
Whispers, because I hate looking for people and helps when I close the hatch to find the last person.
Inner Strength, because it's more dependable than teammates and comes in clutch a lot.
Windows of Opportunity is another because I'm bad and it carries me.
-
I'd rank Spirits music at the top. It's as good as Whiskers and Pyramid Cake Daddies music.
-
Claudette as survivor because she is the best. All who say otherwise are delusional or just plain old wrong.
Killer Side, currently Scratched Mirror Myers. It’s So Much Fun. Don’t even need to go for kills, just have fun popping up from behind corners or gen grabbing poor unsuspecting players.

Save Tommy as the legendary cosmetic for Jason. Also the first ever two killer chapter with Ivan Ooze as one of the killers. Profitz
Fine, but Tommy gets his White Tiger cosmetic with the talking sword and Rita gets Lord Zed as a legendary cosmetic.

When a match takes that long, the survivors are at the same fault as the killer. Neither wants to give up, no matter how boring it is.
Best choice for both sides would be to simply give up after a certain amount of time and move on to the next match. But many people are to proud to take the loss.
This is why the devs should implement a match limit of 25 minutes max. They can then balance killers and maps around that limit and prevent long boring matches.
Should have been done a long time ago.

I love playing SM Meyers and I do the same thing: get as many pants filling jumpscares as I can and let everyone go. Seems mean to take years off people's lives and then sacrifice them. Especially baby survs who you can tell have no idea what is happening. You get to that point where they're all just crouching in terror.
It's one of my favorite things in DBD. From both sides, honestly. It's as closer to actual horror as this game gets.
I love the crouching and shaking! It’s so funny! My favorite is when they run up to the second level in the operation room of Docs map and think I’m gone and they jump down right into my knife!
It’s really a breath of fresh air from the usual loop of Dbd. Granted, it sucks when you get good survivors that know how to loop and don’t scare, but even then, you can make them struggle.

I’m not. I just don’t like how she looks and her power is uninteresting to me. I would have preferred another Resident Evil Chapter with Alcina Dimitrescu as the killer with loads of sexy cosmetics.
-
Nah, they're going to target Wraith again, then Spirit, Nurse and then they're attack killer perks.
-
All I know is there better be a shirtless Trapper played by Henry Cavill.

He's a sassy fluffy Henry Cavill with red hair wearing cow print chapless pants.

I'd revert the nerf on Undying to make hex builds somewhat viable again. People were crying about having to waste time looking for the totems but now no one says a thing about the repeated blessing of totems in a match, so the old Undying wasn't a problem.
I'd make Whispers base-kit and add an FOV slider for killers.
Revert the lunge nerf for Wraith.
Make DS proc after both hooks but keep it deactivated after 5 gens are completed.
Revert Spine Chill.
Make Urban Evasion base-kit for survivors and give Nea a new perk.
Finally introduce a new Bush cosmetic for Claudette.
General balance- rework all the maps to make the loops fair and remove all the strong loops that killers have no choice but to either abandon chase or get looped until pallet dropped.

It would have to be broken in order to be "fixed" which it isn't.
-
No.
I have trust issues.
There are forum posters I do like tho.
I also fantasize about @GoodBoyKaru . In my mind he looks like a sexy red headed version of Henry Cavill. Don't ask why or what lead to it, it just is and I will never believe otherwise.
-
I’m thinking to buy him now. Seeing how I hate how boring it is to get looped by good survivors (I play mainly M1 killers), and seeing the complaints survivors have, I want to start playing him so they can feel how it feels to be helpless at loops.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Fair enough if you don’t want to buy it but it’s not a scam when you still get 1 killer, 2 survivors and 9 perks. I mean Freddy was rushed out the door alongside Quentin with 6 trash perks and that was still sold well
Or if you want an original chapter Binding of Kin basically broke DBD on launch and twins are still unplayable on lower end PC’s and consoles so if anything they’re worse
Who are "The Twins"? Never heard of them. Nor was there a chapter titled "Binding of Kin". I think you're mixing up the game with another, maybe?
I need to go lie down now, my head hurts. I think some repressed memories from past trauma are trying to resurface.

"It security to finish gens in the killers face, knowing if they got grabbed off of the gen, they will get away."
How would DS allow that?
It disables itself if you touch a gen.
Before it was nerfed it didn’t disable when interacting with things.

DS wasn't 'amazing' before the 6.1 dumpstering, it was a perk that required the killer's cooperation to function. 9/10 matches it'd do nothing.
Blood Rush will be way more consistent and less dependant on the killer's help.
It was always an amazing perk before it got gutted. It was so amazing, killers had to always assume that survivors had it equipped, thus cooperating without knowing whether or not the survivor had it equipped. More often than not, killers would slug the unhooked person or just let them go, assuming they had DS, giving the survivor a chance to waste even more of the killers time by running to a loop or getting away, healing up and going back on gens.
It was such a strong perk that almost every good survivor had it equipped. It security to finish gens in the killers face, knowing if they got grabbed off of the gen, they will get away. It made it easy for teams to escape and prevented killers from killing unhooked people during endgame.
I would call that an amazing perk.
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
Lol I just realized, sprintburst > exhausted > blood rush into sprintburst > health state healed before the killer can catch up. Tho it will only work once per game so I don't think it's amazing
DS was once per game and it was amazing before it's nerf.

@Dinan said:
"im mainly talking about survivors'" tell me youre a killer main without telling me you are a killer main. Of course """"survivors"""" are more toxic because there are 4!!!!! that means the chance you get a toxic person is A LOT more likely. the thing is that toxic survivors dont ruin games only sandbagging survivors do, meanwhile the killers actually has the biggest impact with toxicity, facecamping and tunneling and slugging. it is much worse than simply teabagging, getting mad about teabagging just shows your fragile ego.
Tunneling, Camping and Slugging are not toxic. They may not be fun for the receiving end, but that doesn't make it toxic. Face-Camping and being repeatedly hit on hook can be considered toxic. Being bled out to death when the killer can hook everyone is toxic.
You not liking something is not toxic. If that was the case, then killers can call running to strong loops toxic. Sabotaging hooks, repairing a gen in the killers face, body blocking for their teammates, bringing in BNP and strong tool boxes, flashlight blinding, map offering to survivor sided maps, rushing gens, camping or using strong pallets, or looping the shack can all be considered toxic according to your definition of the word since they're not fun for the killer.
You have a fragile ego if you think getting camped or tunneled or slugged is toxic when they're actually legitimate ways for the killer to apply pressure and kill survivors.
In my 5k+ hours in the game, never have I faced a killer that legitimately made me want to stop playing while I have met plenty of Survivors that put me off the game and just not play it for a few days. Never have I had a killer wish me and my family death and suffering while it was common to see it from survivors.
Even though Survivors are more, it's obvious they're the more immature, entitled whiny side.
-
Any stealth killer really. I'm bad, but I'm even worse with stealth killers since I tend to sneak right into their weapon when I'm trying to sneak away.
-
InB4 Five Nights at Freddy's
In all seriousness, I think the next killer should be original. It should be a two in one killer. A smaller killer, reminiscent of a baby that crawls out of the larger killers bosom. The smaller killer would have a lunging attack similar to Demos shred, only that the little munchkin latches on the survivors face and pulls back on their hair and mouth. The larger killer would be controlled by AI and patrol the gens while the player is in control of the little one.
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
What could they possibly give Trapper that would put him on the same level as Nurse?
He doesn't need to be Nurse level, but he should have been allowed to start with all of his traps a long time ago. Setting speed should be 50% faster and bag base carry should be 3.
He also needs his diamond thong cosmetic from Hooked on You. I've never seen it and only heard vague rumors about it, but my imagination has made me very naughty.

More like buffed, nerfed, nerfed, slightly buffed, nerfed, Shadow nerfed, buffed in a fun way, followed by an nearly instantly reverse plus making it worse then ever before, because it was deemed "too unfun to verse". Then nothing happens for a while, till the next new map release sends every killer spiraling into depression.
All I can think of when reading this is "poor Wraith".

Claudette is either the best looper on the team or they are me, the worst.
