i dont want to win, i want to play the game
You are playing the game, even when camped.
-
Didn’t see anything for Claudette so I’ll be saving my Auric Cells.
Trappers recolor is nice but he’s just too frustrating to play these days.

skill problem you dont need to facecamp to win in this game
Skill problem, you don't need anti-camp basekit to win in this game.
-
This...this isn't a "rework". This is an outright nerf.
She doesn't need a nerf. You need to learn how to play better against her. How about you go play her for a few hundred hours and see that it's not as easy to play her as it seems.

All us 8 Twins players allready have it tho :-(
...but Its good for the 9th Twins player that might appear in future. If any.
I'll play twins if they give Victor a parrot cosmetic with a wee little pirate hat.
-
Well then, keep being bad and let killers slug your team.

Unbreakable base kit when all survivors are either in the dying state or on the hook
Also basekit when there are 2 survivors left in the game, regardless if the 2nd one is healthy or not
That would fix everything
lol, no. Devs don't need to hold your hands anymore. The only "fixing" slugging needs is to reduce the bleed out timer when all survivors are slugged and no one was willing to equip perks that counter it. In the meantime, don't bunch up and give the killer an easy win.

First you gaslight someone when they are trying to share their experiences.
Then you say : just lose a bunch of games in a row and then it will be fine after you've tanked your MMR.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/371954/this-game-is-a-mess-for-killers
Killer has sucked almost the entire time since 2016. It's my belief that the devs keep the role one step away from being miserable by design.
Nurse and Blight "work" on every possible scenario; they're fine vs SWF, on hilariously broken survivor favored maps and against the most incredibly BS perks/items.
Most of the killer cast is nowhere near that lucky and any one of those things can easily ruin the game for them.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3398337#Comment_3398337
-"Streamers like Tofu and ScottJund get fed a steady diet of complete babies to slaughter live on Twitch while almost every lobby for me includes multiple p100s, juiced items, and shattered square/farm/garden of joy offerings"
Why hide MMR unless you as a company are doing something shady?
Consider for a moment that maybe anyone who is a "fog whisperer" gets an emblem on their account that gives them easy games. What would that do?
- It would make the game look more fun than it actually is.
- It would make people watch these people play and think : I could do that.
- This would increase sales and make them more money.
By hiding the system from us we also can't easily tell when it is broken. Maybe that p100 player with 5,000 hours was with a drunk friend or maybe the match maker is drunk. We'll never know because they hide it from us.
Not gaslighting anyone. Dont try so hard and you won't get matched up against sweaty teams (for the most part). I am only stating my experience. If you sweat to get a 4k every match, you're going to be put up against similar opponents.
-
I doubt every team you faced was seal team hokage plus ultra level. I’m mediocre/bad at killer and I’m doing okayish. I’m not getting easy 4ks like some one here like to gloat, but 2-3k is often.
Maybe you play to try-hard and you’re stuck in high MMR hell. If you come back to the game, ease up a bit and let your MMR tank.
-
You shouldn’t be questioning the killer if they slugged the whole team at 4-5 gens. You should be questioning how your team massively failed at the game to allow that to happen in the first place.
Don’t get mad at the killer for your teams misplay. They don’t know how good you are or how the game will play out. They took advantage of your mistakes and won. Next time, I’d this is happening often enough, bring in Unbreakable, Soul Guard or Boon: Exponential.
It’s really no different from when a killer fails to apply pressure and the gens get completed in 5 minutes.
-
None. All perks are fair game.
-
First, you need to get your basics down and learn how to properly loop as killer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj76tZpL1bg
Second, you need to see if you're willing to sink in a lot of time into Nurse, if you are, master her and you can never be bullied again. Blight is the second best killer.
If you want to be super boring and make at least one of the survivors miserable, pick Bubba and just camp.
Trapper with Bloody Coil and Iron Grasp is great for hauling them into the basement and never letting them out.
Finally, don't let a bully squad make you take your anger out on the next match. The players had nothing to do with the bullying and are just wanting to play. Instead, be patient and save your anger for the next bully squad.
-
Hopefully it gets scrapped and disappears like that auto-banning feature the devs brought up once upon a time.
-
Because they want people to feel sorry for them and to get the devs to hold their hands more and cater to them.
I've not had much problems playing solo queue. Killers I face are on par for my skill level (most of the time). The only issue I have are just teammates being dumb, but that's not a problem with the game.
-
Claudette:
- Wicked Witch of the West costume, with a cape, pointy hat, fake nose and ruby slippers.
- Akatsuki Cloak from Naruto. She poses like Itachi does with one hand hanging outside of the cloak on top of where it buttons together.
- Brown Bush from Mr Cowboys Map cosmetic. When on an indoor map, it turns into a barrel or something that fits with the theme.
- Glenda, the good witch cosmetic. Yea, I know, its unlikely she would get two cosmetic from the same property, but I want to feel pretty while running from the killer in a big poofy sparkly dress.
- Trapper cosmetic. Identical jumper to Trapper, only purple, with a cardboard bedazzled trapper mask made by Claud.
Myers:
- Shirtless cosmetic
- Pink Mask cosmetic
- Rainbow Mask Cosmetic
- Tux cosmetic with slicked back hair.
Doctor:
Raiden Cosmetic from Mortal Kombat
-
They can nerf her as soon as the devs rework all maps, removing strong loops and pallets, making them 50/50 with no way for the survivor to look through cracks in the wall and shrink the size of the maps.
-
Pffft, you should know by now the devs will never need swf. How will they come out with videos of themselves bullying killers and laughing at them on YouTube if they did?
-
I don’t like super fast game (not super long ones), so when I see gens have flown by, I’ll cleanse some totems, search some chests, breaks some hooks if I find a toolbox and even see if I can get aggro from the killer. Sure, it may lead to my death (and maybe my teams), but I’d take that chance and have some interaction/fun over just M1 Gen simulator.
-
For me, it used to be Freddy before they nerfed his ads-ons. Now it’s a toss up between Wraith and Ghostie. Surprisingly, most Bubbi Bois I face don’t camp.
-
I haven’t seen Spirit in a good long while even during the bug.

Ever since the basekit Windstorm, he's always been a solid pick. This next mid chapter will have a few ups and downs tho
On a good note, hit and run is going to be without a doubt more viable and Wraith excels at this. Lightburn being gone will also help but wont necessarily matter all too much
As for the bad, Sprint Burst is likely going to sky rocket in pick rate which is the Exhaustion perk that hurts him the most. Wraith relies a good bit on the element of surprise and SB completely negates that.
Mindbreaker/fear monger will help mitigate his weakness as long as the player knows how to be a sneaky killer.
-
Scratched Mirror
It's super crutch for me. I tried playing other killers due to running low on the add-on and I kept trying to right click and see everyone's aura while hiding behind a wall.
-
Lol.

Can we just please delete the map entirely?
I really dislike the bright, sunny maps.
Way too easy to hold a 3 gen, almost impossible to beat a Knight/DC Merchant.
If you are playing nice, you'll be looped forever as a killer.
Nobody is happy.
No, the bright maps are easier on my old eyes! Delete poopy borgo plz
-
Never have I been more jealous of another survivor than I am now. I'm glad that at the very least, Adam was the one to get them.
-
Thank god.
Nightfall is such a pain in the butt, I hope I never see him again.
-
If you read the upcoming patch notes, you'll see they butchered base healing speed, med-kits and obliterated circle of healing.

I’m not asking about survivors. I’m specifically asking about killers and their mindset/reasoning for this specific action. I’m not interested in any veiled “survivors do stuff too!” replies. We have enough of those posts here.
Survivors do stuff too!
-
The same reason survivors t-bag at the exit gate and wait for the killer to show, to be toxic. It's not an inherently killer or survivor thing, its just a bad fact about gamers in general.
-
They also need to buff his stalk. He should get laser eyes, like cats, every time he stalks. They should glow red though.
-
Because she's an ugly poopy bird lady that doesn't know how to shut up. If she learned to close her mouth, more would play her.

Or.
We could do a BHVR special.
Nerf scratched mirror myers and buff tombstone to allow insta kills in phase 2. Also buff the tuft of hair to increase movement apeed to 5.0 m/s.
What do you guys think?
Blasphemy, Scratched Mirror Myers is the only way I am willing to play Killer. They touch it and I riot!
-
Have you ever played Solo Queue and get out on a hook only to see that the killer slugged someone, got in a chase with another and the person who is supposed to be your rescuer is across the map, self caring in a corner? It’s a miserable experience, one in which I prefer to be face-camped by the killer instead.
Now, with the proposed nerf to base healing, you will have that idiot in the distance taking even longer and by the time they come for you, you’ll be dead. It’s not fun at all.
While I understand the devs motive in wanting to promote more chases with a hit and run play style for killers, this nerf isn’t needed. All the other nerfs are fine, but base kit healing needs to be the same or Botany knowledge needs a massive buff.
-
Two teammates in cosmetics that stand out clicking at each other with flashlights while t-bagging. I know they're going to be harassing the killer and not doing gens. It's usually a loss because lots of them are overconfident and underestimate the killer.
-
I slug them. If they're not back by the time I get two hooks, I hook them.

Exactly. The end result will be: at higher level, there is Blight, Nurse, Spirit and Artist left. The other killers cant win by default against the good teams.
But its my fault: I should have never main Freddy, Pig and Sadako. My favourite is total garbage, I assume I will play much more survivor or switch to Blight as Main-Killer...
I would like to invite you into the Scratched Mirror Club. While Daddy Myers is garbage at base, on the right map, you will bring shame and ruin upon the survivors. Most fun I've had playing killer since I started this game with Stranger Things release.
Only thing that sucks is the blood web keeps giving me Midwich or RPD offerings as if it knows I want Lery's and wants to make me suffer by not giving them to me.
-
Everything about the upcoming patch is fine except for the nerf to base healing. I hope they come to their senses and leave base healing alone.
-
Not a single killer has ever complained about base healing speed. The nerf to it came out of nowhere and shouldn't be implemented at all.
-
How about you wait and see how things turn out before complaining about gen time. They butchered circle of healing and base healing speed so you'll be able to apply pressure without using a full load out of gen regression perks.

This. There is nothing to add. Oni rejoices, too :3
Why you gotta make me feel old. Now my gray hairs are gonna be bothering me more.
-
Noed glows like a disco ball now. You can easily find it and cleanse it or cleanse the totems before the gens are done.
Killers have had and will receive plenty of nerfs. If you fail to see that then you're 100% biased or just a troll.
Only troubling thing about the upcoming changes is the increase to base healing which should not happen.
-
After the devs go through every map and re-balance them so weaker killers like Trapper have a chance against good survivors without having to tunnel and camp.
-
I think this will make solo super miserable. It's going to get people to intentionally miss skill checks while hooked much more often because all they will see is people in the distance, self caring much longer than they used to. It really didn't need the nerf at all. The gutting of COH was enough.
It's also going to make people compete with me for bones much more often since I like to use Inner Strength.
-
I dunno, I just know I skipped it cause I was having trouble with it too.
-

Lets wait how many days or hours it will take after the Patch went live until Killers complain about Sprint Burst. :)
Probably the same amount of days that it takes survivors to complain about the flavor of the week killer.

A Binding of Kin was not a bad chapter. The perks on Elodie and The Twins are very fun to use & introduce new mechanics. The killer itself had some major issues, but everything else about the chapter made it worthwhile I feel.
Oh, I'm not complaining about the characters or perks, just the bad release riddled with bugs.
-
At the rate they're going, watch them come out with a new Twins chapter that you have to fork out money for. Only, this time, you will have Danny Devito who comes out of Arnold Schwarzenegger's chest and run around snarling at everyone. Then everyone will forget about the abomination of a chapter known as A Binding of Kin.
-
Yes. The next killer is going to be Rita Repulsa, with a Lord Zed Legendary cosmetic. The Survivors will be Tommy and Kimberly and they will be the first to be able to mori killers by summoning their Megazord and stomping on them. I can't wait!
-
I don’t prioritize someone’s fun over my own. If I feel I need to do something to win, I’ll do it, whether it’s hiding, rushing gens, using a strong loop, tunneling or proxy camping.
I just won’t be a scumbag and t-bag or slug with the intention of letting someone bleed out for 4 minutes.
